Very loud outside. You can hear all the noises coming from the street because of thin balcony doors. Quite cold room, if you heat using the AC all warm air goes up of course and downstairs is still cold (February). Also the breakfast is not so reach. There are no warm dishes likes eggs or sausages . In the kitchen no even a knife. Poor amenities

Room 101 was in good condition but the mezzanine level has a very low ceiling in the shower area - not suitable for tall people and proximity to the front door made it noisy at night. It’s a shame because apart from that it was clean, well equipped and a good place to be close to attractions.

We started and ended our Madrid stay in this libere property bc the location is unbeatable and this concept of \"managed apartment style kinda hotel\" is awesome. Place is clean, comfortable, warm, breakfast is ample, staff responsive. Definitely will look for other libere units on future travels.

Absolutely unbeatable location!!! Walking distance from all sites, metro stations, shopping, grocery and about a 100 restaurants of all creeds. Clean, nice studios own your own. Come and go as you please. Ample breakfast on-site if you so choose. Spaniards don't sleep and you can hear that at 3am from the narrow street below.

Location is excellent. Breakfast is fabulous. However the windows are not well- sealed therefore there would be noise coming from the street. The curtain did not work therefore could not use the sofa bed in the living room.

The property and room were spacious, modern and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was really good with fresh fruit, various granolas, teas, bread types, cheeses, meats, tomatoes, olives, yoghurts, etc to choose from.

The property is located in walking distance of many sites, which is great. And it is very safe.

Do yourself a favor and BRING EARPLUGS! The hotel supplies 1 free pair in the room, but there were 3 of us. Our room was across the Corte Ingles and there was a train & puppet facade which played every hour at the least (luckily not during the night). It was quite loud.

There are several free lockers available for suitcases / bags if you need to store your luggage. Please not there are only 4 large lockers for full size suitcases. I was with my family with 3 suitcases. Unfortunately we could only store 2 and were stuck with the 3rd. The good thing was that we could pay a little extra and access our room 3 hours earlier, which was great.

Overall the hotel was great, just bring the earplugs :)

Room was very clean. It was centrally located to anything you could possibly need. They have lockers to store your luggage, if you have some time to kill between checkout and your flight. Breakfast available onsite for a reasonable price.
We did not have a room like the one shown on website, just one small window, that we had to leave open the whole time, because the climate system was \"switched to winter mode\", so it only blew hot.

The Libere Madrid Palacio Real is in a fantastic location. Sometimes it is hard to tell on a map of an unfamiliar city but it really is within blocks of all the attractions and public transportation. The room is very simply furnished primarily with IKEA style furnishings. The bed was comfortable. The room had a small kitchen that had a refrigerator, microwave, and minimal supplies such as Nespresso coffee supplies. I bought some creamer for my morning coffee.

We slept with the window open which had this unfortunate result: people are up all hours in this area so there was constant voices and some music until the early morning hours. I slept fine only because I had jet lag from arriving that morning in Madrid.

I never saw or met any staff. This is a very self service hotel.

There are large lockers in the lobby to store your bags. A large suitcase will fit.

Lastly, I did find a hair in the shower when we first arrived but otherwise the room was very clean. I would definitely stay there again.

-This hotel is centrally located and could walk to many of the sites. Plenty of outdoor and indoor restaurants and in a good shopping area.
-The room was large, bathroom was a little small but adequate, and we really didn’t use the kitchen, but it was nice to have access to a refrigerator.
-Communication was great.
-the only negative is that he bed was vey squeaky…good thing we are an old married couple and not newlyweds!

The apartment is small. The shower is really small and uncomfortable to shower. They have a kitchen but we didn't use it. We prefer go to eat. We enjoyed having a breakfast. For 3 days the place is great. For longest staying I will find different places. The TV never connected, but we didn't care.

A few operations hiccups and team responded expeditiously. Location is perfect we never once took a train. All sites within walking distance and shopping. Great restaurants nearby. Try Cuban restaurant La Negra Tomasa where locals frequent, they have live Cuban music.there are many prefix lunch menu options within walking distance of hotel. I recommend highly!

Best part about the hotel is its location. Walkable to multiple popular plazas and tourist attractions. Check in was smooth. There is no reception desk so everything has to be done via the mobile app but it worked fine for us. What we didnt like so much is that our second floor room was very noisy all night with people and vehicles on the street. The hotel gives you free earbuds upon arrival which means others notice it too. There is not much of a view from the window or balcony either. For the price, I expected a better looking hotel building from the outside.

Room was exactly what was described, and what we needed for our trip. It was compact, but enough space for four people. The location was beyond amazing, with many sights only a few minutes walk from the place. Lots of food options too. Check in was the easiest of the four places we chose to stay, and they even had lockers to store our luggage if flight times were later in the day. Will stay here again!!

The entire process was great. I made a mistake and had to modify the reservation and calling customer service prior to the stay was easy and they were able to change the reservation. During our stay, we needed some extra pillows and they were able to accommodate that. The only issues were related to the fact that the unit was a split level loft apartment. This meant that the air conditioning wasn’t able to cool the loft as well as the lower level. Also, the steps are incredibly narrow and short and would not be suitable for older people or people with balance issues.

The check in process was easy and well communicated. The room was cleaned well. The bad part was the building noises. Going to sleep at night was always a challenge due to how loud the building was. Each night around midnight and 1:00am, there was a large metal crashing noise. There were also noises from other units that vibrated through the walls.

It also lacked some conveniences like an electric plug on both sides of the bed and paper towels/napkins in the kitchen (not a huge deal but when you bring home food, and forget them, you kind of expect it to be there).

Es difícil conciliar el sueño y menos mantenerlo. Al principio no entendía los tapones de oídos de regalo en la cajita de bienvenida. Luego todo cobró sentido, el barrio es para no descansar.

The apartment is nice and clean. It has all the amenities we need . The only frustrating part is the check in process. Checking in is complicated and asked for unnecessary information . This will be difficult most especially for seniors . When we opened the door we saw two older couples that couldn’t get in. I suggest that you simplify the check in process and one person to at least monitor in the lobby that will help your guests . Check in instructions should be sent a week advance and follow up reminder tagged with high importance. It is frustrating to wait outside and the codes does not work right away . Code numbers are too long . Hard to remember .

We had two rooms on the top floor, and I would suggest that if you are taller than 5ft4, you do not reserve these! With the slopes, it is impossible to walk around without bending. The rooms were basic and as advertised. The key for me was the location, we could pretty much walk everywhere. I saw a lot of negative reviews about the noise but it did not bother any of us. In any case, they provide ear plugs in their welcome package if needed. There is NO PHYSICAL front desk - note that this is a virtual front desk which is very responsive via WhatsApp. We saw one of the guests having some trouble entering the building and they were able to reach someone right away. Overall this was a 3.5 for me in terms of the room, and 5 in terms of location.

It was our first time in Madrid and this property is conveniently located to all the main sights in Madrid. Everything is walkable and there are so many restaurant options. We got a lower level unit close to the street, and it wasn’t all that quiet at night. Ear plugs are a must. We also like to keep the room cool and the AC wasn’t working - just the heater. I would however stay here again because of the location.

El baño olía a caño muy fuerte y era complicado estar más de un minuto ahí, tuvimos que tapar el lavábamos y usar la cocina para bajar un poco el olor pero aún así hay un problema urgente a arreglar.
El ruido de afuera es muy alto tanto que te regalan tapones para oídos, hay mucha construcción, fiesta campanadas autos etc. Las escaleras para el segundo piso están muy peligrosas, la tele no se pudo conectar al network entonces no se puede ver Netflix.
El lugar es impráctico e incómodo. Lo único que valió la pena fue el location, muy céntrico. Práctico check in y tener elevador.

Property is centrally located and near train stations. Is also close to plaza mayor and many other attractions. The contactless check in /check out was great. They send you a link and after filling out the info they give you a code to get in to the building and room . I did not see any onsite staff. They need to invest a little more in a better sofa bed or add more padding cause you can feel every single spring. I slept there one night with my husband , and it was very uncomfortable, and even my 12 y/o daughter complained. Also, the bathroom was not the cleanest, the curtains from the balcony looked disgusting as well as the walls. I don't mind the noise and I can sleep anywhere, but be mindful that the you can hear everything from outside till very late.

The room was okay. In the shower, I only had one \"soap\" instead of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Oh, and it was empty! So we had to somehow use what was available next to the bathroom sink. And if you are a light sleeper or looking for quietness, this is not your spot. Even with the windows closed and the metal window covered down, you still hear people walking the street having conversations at all-night hours, and the garbage truck did its nightly pick-up around 1 am. No wonder the room came with earplugs. I wish we had known this before the RSVP.

Worst place we have ever stayed. The bathroom wasn't clean. Mold on tile grout. Toilet is uncomfortable. It was very complicated process before we can check in. But those are not the worst. The worst part is we order for a day parking which was 28 euro but they charge 2 days. But we still accept that as we stayed for 2 days. But they gave me the wrong instructions where parking is. The link they sent guided us to a different place with same descriptions like parking name, plaza name but actually it is not. I had to pay extra $33 for over night parking. Contacted to the guy and he blames on us didn't know the parking location. I am not sure if anyone has same issues but we had to left the place earlier then we planned. Terrible customer services

Overall room was clear but this place and this room especially requires renovation, old sofa old curtains with plenty of dust that you can feel in the air, dirty walls. If you stay there for a weekend it is a nightmare, due to the fact that 2 night clubs are situated same building. Loud music playing, people having fun till 5 a.m. making your stay impossible, unless you party too. Not a recommended place for family stay. It is not worth paying this price.

This hotel failed with the basics:
1) There was no running water for hours (after 9 am, when more tenants were up)
2) The external noise from outside the room was loud
3) The bed was very uncomfortable
4) There was no way to enter the hotel without carrying luggage up stairs.
5) The room (not shown in this picture) was awkward, leaving little living space.

There are many other items I could pick at, but why bother. We choose the room for location, which was a mistake. Within a three week period we stayed at 3 hotels in Madrid, the others were great. I recommend avoiding this facility.

Stayed for 4 nights. Overall, this is a good property to stay in Madrid. Its location is excellent for exploring the city. The property is very efficiently run and the staff at the dining room are very friendly. Due to the lack of visible staff at the check-in area, I had a terrible time to deal with a few unexpected problems.

I was extremely disappointed with my recent stay at this property. Unfortunately, the cleanliness was subpar. The sheets on all the beds were stained and filthy, which made for an uncomfortable and unhygienic sleeping experience.

Given the unacceptable state of cleanliness, I would not recommend this property to anyone.
