The staff were very accommodating and so relaxed; such a charming environment. The small downside was the small size of the shower and the absence of a freezer within the apartment. However, certainly excellent value for money, again, with wonderful and friendly personnel.

Rosie in the breakfast zone was amazing- so friendly and helpful especially our egg order when we had to leave early to drive back to Sydney. Room was basic only problem was the shower drain did not catch the water so the whole bathroom floor flooded. Avoid rooms 102-108 as extremely noisy as people walked from the hotel back to their rooms.

The rooms were nice and clean but the halls in the morning had a few dead bugs (roaches etc.) on the floor. We came back down the halls a couple of hours later and they were still there which was gross. We’ve stayed here before and liked it but the roaches this time gave me the creeps. They could have cleaned them up for the guests passing back and forth for breakfast etc.
The included breakfast was decent. The rooms are great for the price. There is a pool which looked nice but we’ve never used it as it’s been cooler weather when we’ve stayed.

Staff were amazing, let me check in an hour early and check out an hour later. Modern and comfortable. The buffet breakfast was yummy. Bed was comfortable, room was clean. Only thing I noticed was a little mould on the roof above shower, which will be a health hazard.

Our room was clean, tidy and had everything you'd expect in a mid-tier hotel. The staff are so friendly and approachable, and the buffet breakfast was a pleasant surprise and exceptional for a hotel buffet. The heated tropical pool is of a generous size with a little slide for the kids (or kid within you!) This place is seriously slept on considering how close it is to all the hot tourist spots. We will definitely stay here again the next time we're on the Gold Coast!

The room was clean and the staff were lovely. However the hotel is old and needs renovations. The washroom is very run down, the shower drips and the lights flicker for a few seconds before turning on. When we turn on the hot water is rattles the pipes like crazy. And when I would shower the floor drain would bubble up soap from the bath tub, leaving a soap pile in the middle of the washroom floor. The shower head is very loose and floppy as well.

Criticisms- whilst my dietary requirement was catered for at breakfast, it was done so with an air of annoyance as if I had a choice (I wish I didn't have my condition) pending which chef was on and how busy/understaffed the restaurant was.
This could have been easily resolved in my case if the scrambled eggs didn't have cream in it or if fried eggs could have been available - I then wouldn't have asked for anything more and staff would have been more freed up to operate as needed. It would also help people to have the allergens listed on each of the choices at the buffet so people can make informed choices and reduce needing to ask.

For the love of all that's holy, please turn down the music in the breakfast buffet. No-one wants to hear nightclub level pop at 6:30 in the morning. Everytime I stay here it's the same, when I asked the staff to turn it down they couldn't (or wouldn't) do anything about it. It means the free breakfast is worth, well, absolutely nothing.

Noisy people & banging doors disturbing us through the night, & the beds were so soft I was afraid of falling out of mine. Couldn’t find a stop mechanism on the rollers so the bed would move whenever sitting on them or turning over in bed. Honestly , everything else was great, a nice wheelchair friendly room, a complimentary drink & breakfast was pretty good. Variety not so much, but staple was good enough. A microwave would’ve been handy, but no biggie. It’s not a bad review, just a couple of things stood out , the noise mostly. Couldn’t sleep on the bed too well,& the pillows were too bulky which gave me a sore neck so I slept with no pillow in the end.
