coffee/tea, dish soap, laundry soap. Paper towels would have been nice.

Loved that parking was included.

The only thing I would point out, for some, might be an issue are the stairs. Does not matter which unit you stay in always stairs to negotiate.

The service and communication from Felix was fantastic.
Our room was dated which was fine but it was also dirty. There were marks on the floor which showed it hadn't been mopped. The shower was all mouldy. The bathroom cupboard and kitchen drawers had dirt in them. I didn’t want to touch anything or use anything from the kitchen. There was a horrible stink so we had to leave early the next morning which was really frustrating as were were supposed to be there 2 days. It was not relaxing.
The exterior, pool and location were fantastic. It was an easy walk to Miami Marketa for dinner. Beware of the road works too as they were working late into the night close by.

I was able to check in early as I had flown into Brisbane on the red eye from Perth. At first glance the property was nice. However, a few things came to light as time went on.
Fan in bedroom seemed to only have two speeds, very slow or fast enough to blow things around the room.
No exhaust fan in bathroom so very steamy.
No dish washing liquid, dish cloth, extra tea towel or extra bin bags. Office only open from 2pm so had to wait till then to get supplies!
No curtain on one of the windows so neighbours had full view at night time.
Sofa bed was stuck so daughter had to sleep on cushions on the floor one night. Found a massive cockroach scuttling around after that. Manager did come and put baits down.
There is no lift so hefting suitcase up 3 flights of stairs was very difficult.
Then at 8pm every night road works started up! I realise this was no fault of the accommodation but a heads up would’ve been nice. Luckily I had ear plugs! My sleep app picked up men yelling, large machinery noise, trucks reversing etc! Plus at the time there was a detour passed the place which created heavy traffic.
All in all it wasn’t a pleasant stay.
Location was the only thing going for it. 3 streets from beach.

When i arrived i just wanted to cry because it is very run down, it needs to be renovated, it's old and very dirty. I really can't say anything positive about this place . We were on the top floor without a lift! Our mattress protected had yellow stains on it. The shower was very old and dirty. It ruined my holiday to be honest . I never attempted to soit on the sofa because it stuck and had stains on it , the carpet the same, the blinds were broken. Wifi wasn't always working and it was pricey . Never,ever would i recommend this place not even to my worse enemy.

Beautiful property and very central to the beach any any shops you might need. The pool was well maintained.

My low rating was due to how hard and uncomfortable the bed, couch and all furniture was in the apartment I stayed in. There was nowhere you could sit, relax or sleep in comfort. It felt very unwelcoming in that respect. I couldn't stay there again as my body ached from the first night till the last.

Dust was an issue in the apartment with the bedroom having a thick layer of dust in the mirror and pelmet. The fly screen was very torn in the bedroom but there was no insect issues. The shower had mould around the screen.

Be aware that this apartment does not have any lifts also.

It's a shame as if only there was comfort and a little more care with cleaning I would visit again.

An older building in a nice part of the coast. The apartment was showing its age and all the fittings showed evidence of many summers use. The furniture was old and dusty. There was evidence that some renovations had taken place with a new AC, newish fridge, new sink in the bathroom and new doors to the laundry recess. But the couch was very old and dirty and the tables and side tables had lived a long and useful life. Overall though the location is great, there is off street parking and restaurants close by.

We arrived late due to the reception closing earlier on Sunday and flight delay, and got one set of keys from the box outside the reception. The unit is using double locks by sharing the same key and the top lock (dead lock) should not be used, however, nil instructions about that before we attempted to unlock both of them. We eventually opened the door after trying multiple times. Once we left the unit, and realised we can not open again. So we have to call the reception staff to come to fix it. We were told we will be charged $40 for the after hour call in fee. This can not be waived even though there is no notification before receiving the keys . This is very unfair!!!

Also based on the booking, hair dryer is included, but no hair dryer found after hair wash. We have to ask for one in the reception on the following day.

On the 1st night, we sat on the couch to eat and found there are so many sands on the couch. We have to clean it up on our own before meal.

At first glance, lovely Motel and the service upon check in good. After entering we found the floors were very sandy(We hadn't been to the beach because of the rain) and each night we had sand in the bed. We found the laundry tub covered in sand and on our last day, checking to make sure we had grabbed all our possessions, we found that under the bed was very filthy and also an open condom packet!! My husband and I are in our mid 50's and have no use for condom's anymore. It was NOT ours!! Yet, the unit has signs proclaiming deep cleaning because of covid, don't think so.

We stayed in a unit rented by our daughter, which was fantastic; on the lower floor, plenty of crosswind for ventilation, and it has been beautifully renovated.

So we decided to stay an extra night when our rellies returned and booked the last available unit in the same block.

We didn’t end up staying the night. This is falsely listed as a hotel however is individual apartments. Pictures were not of the unit we were given. There was no elevator for our luggage and we were given a room on the second floor. This place is not accessible. But the real reason we left besides the hallway/unit smelly musty and of cigarettes was because it advertised air conditioning that the bedroom did not have. When we arrived the unit was hot. The unit itself has an air con in the from of the unit in the living room. 30 feet from the bedroom which has its on separate enclosed room where the air conditioning did not reach. When we requested a refund the manager suggested we sleep on the Sofa in the living room because that’s where the cooking is which was an unacceptable suggestion. The entire unit was hot. This is not a hotel. It does not have air conditioning in the bedroom. We were not given a refund despite not staying in the unit due to being mislead of its amenities and condition. The manager was unwilling to be reasonable with the fact that the bedroom does not have air conditioning and therefore we were mislead by false advertising.

Great Place to Stay

My son is attending Bond University and we needed a place to stay to get him set-up and into his dorm and this an Uber drive to the University. This is a nice, safe neighbourhood, very close to the beach, close to cafes and restaurants, and local merchants. The property Managers, Dave & Eva were great, they made it feel like you were staying with your favourite Aunt and Uncle. Felt a bit sad at the end of three weeks when I had to return home. When my wife and daughter come to visit my son, they will be staying here.

Great location in Nobby Beach, close to shops & beach.
Apartment was nice, wifi was good & balcony view was pretty.
Overall a nice place to stay.. the only thing I had trouble with was the windows in the bedroom, they didn't close / seal shut properly, so a cold draft was coming through in the evening. Getting into winter it wasn't so comfortable, had to sleep in a hoody, trackies & socks..
Used the extra blanket that was provided but it was a bit smelly.

Place flooded and the room reeked! I was unable to to stay in the bedroom for half of my trip because it was unbearable - the place was infected with roaches aswell
Have tried to contact the owners to be reimbursed for half of my trip as that is the period I couldn’t enter half the apartment but they are not responding to me - I was left very disappointed by this hotel, this cost me a lot of money and did not meet the mark - would not recommend to anyone!

When I arrived the property seemed ok but then I turned the air conditioner on and thats when the problems started my wife started sneezing I opened up the air conditoner fillters and found them covered in dust and mould the jug was next it was BLACK inside you certainly would not drink out of it, the fly screens you could hardly see through them they had so much dust on them, then their was the dangerous power point the switch had a crack in it and then their was a smoke alarm missing. So I waited till Monday morning as the office was closed over the weekend I went to reception and was informed that they would give us another room but we would have to wait untill it was cleaned the next room was just ok

Generally everything was great just found it a bit weird that you had to go and ask for toilet paper as there was only one roll supplied for 2 people for 4 days. Also there was only 8 channels for foxtel so not many options especially if you saw this as a selling point. However we found the accommodation clean and would definitely stay here again as it is in a great location.

Good bang for your buck

Very spacious apartment for the same price as a motel room. Close to the beach and a few cafes and restaurants, this is a good spot to base yourself for a few days. Washing machine and drier plus cooking facilities are really handy for an extended road trip.

Mattress was extremly springy we had to put all four blankets underneath the sheet so we didn't feel them.
Gave us half a toilet roll for our 9 days stay. Gave us one sashay of laundry powder, We had to go pay more if we needed it. Which we did. Couldnt go in the pool after 9pm!! Only 4 channels on foxtel so pretty much nothing to watch. The smoke alarm went off at 2 am. For no reason after the 2nd day.

A comfortable 2 bedroom ground floor unit with 2 bathrooms and underground car parking. Kitchen and lounge room had all we needed. Free wi-fi was available if needed. Could have done with an extra blanket in each bedroom rather than the very heavy doona. The units also have a pool and heated spa and are just 200 metres from the beach.

Bad sound proofing between each level, we could hear every foot step, chair movements etc... from the surrounding neighbours and we had noisy upstairs neighbours from 3am on wards, also when anyone in other apartments used the water you couldn't even hear your TV as the water running through the apartment was extremely loud or it would wake you up and there was some sort of noisy generator or pump etc... right behind the apartments which meant that you couldn't sleep peacefully and it would rev up at around 4am.
The toilet cistern plastic was all crumbling which made you feel like it was really dirty and didn't want to touch it.
It said sleeps 4 but they only gave you one set of sheets and the sofa bed sloped on each side so you kept feeling like you were going to fall off it and it was extremely hard on one side like you were sleeping on wood.
One neighbour kept locking his bike to the wall in our car space and the management didn't really care when I told them.
We have stayed at cheap apartments previously in Palm Beach and Burleigh Heads but didn't even know that we had neighbours as the sound proofing was really good and we slept peacefully, so it's not that we expect premium quality for little budget.
I liked the swimming pool and spa though, they were the best part of staying at Beaches on wave street. I wouldn't stay here again though as we hardly got any sleep which wrecked the holiday, every day we were really tired though noise late at night and then early.

Enjoyable holiday along with a clean apartment and friendly, helpful staff completes the picture. A nice easy walk to the beach and there were shops just one block away. Underground parking helped no end when it rained and it had a good outdoor pool which was what was needed in the heat. A reasonably quiet location and and very well priced for our stay.

Were glad we chose the beaches on waves street in our first trip in Queensland, were amazed in our accomodation that fully equip in our daily basis, clean and comfort were totally thumbs up. The pool was wonderful my daugther enjoyed it. Only the problem was the cockroaches especially at night i think it comes from the bathroom drainage. But otherwise we will definitely keep coming back in this lovely apartment.

Very nice room - room 26, top floor gentle walk up, everything you need included. Central, quiet location. Couch might need replacing as surface was shedding pieces off it, very easy, friendly check in.
