Staff very nice, apartment clean, fabulous location a couple of minutes walk from each of the beach, Oasis and Pacific Fair.

But very tired. Probably depends on your apartment and when/if it was updated…ours was tired; biggest pain was that our curtains didn’t work.

You stay for a week you get enough towels/dishwashing/clothes washing powder etc for two days max. Why?


As I said, hard to beat the spot and the staff always helpful.

The location is fantastic - across the road from the tram and pacific fair shopping centre. Close 5min walk to Oasis mall and amazing restaurants. The apartment itself was good layout of 2 bedrooms worked for us but wasn’t up to my standards of clean!

Tv did not work, followed instructions and it wouldn’t work. Toilet kept running after flushing, had to press down on toilet button to stop it flushing. Great bed. Never had to take out my own rubbish at end of stay. Great location. One lift worked. Noisy construction (not hotels fault).

Spacious apartment with beautiful sea views

Beautiful views, excellent location, light and airy, very spacious apartment with comfy bed. Where it fell below expectation was the dated decor, cleanliness - clumps of dust and a pill on the floor beside the bed, the hairdryer is ancient (best bring your own) and not enough towels provided.

so heres me thinking I'm going to spoil my mrs with a romantic kid free night away.
Everything was going to plan arrived checked in the hotel is amazing absolutely breath taking.I walk her in our room my wife is in love with it all. We quickly get changed and go down to the spa. The spa is to die for so good.We get back up to our room to find a cockroach on our bed. Bedore i could take a photo it ran under the bed. I tried to chase it and when i looked under the bed omg theres dust that thick its nearly touching the bottom of the bed.So naturally my wife is now disgusted that theres cockroaches going to be crawling all over her and me while we are sleeping.The dining chairs are flaking that bad when you pull them out to sit on all the material is stuck to your hands to the point you need to wash them but your unable to use the chairs unless you enjoy having all that stuck to your hands.
The shower definitely waant the best either water goes everywhere.My wifes already uncomfortable over the cockroaches and unable to rest properly and theres this massive rock hard bar right in the middle of the bed. My wife and i love to snuggle into one another this couldnt happen unless we were sunk in a massive hole on one side of the bed with my wife still on the bar.After a long uncomfortable sleepless night we check out and informed the staff who replied with "thankyou see you again" I replied "no you wont"
Dont waste your money here theres better and cheaper

Noise was an issue as another building is being constructed in front if the Apartment and noise frim 7am woke us up each day. The welcome pack was a nice surprise. My family and I had an amazing time. Our room was perfect with a lovely view of the beach. Soft beds and clean bathrooms. Great kitchen and utensils. We loved the gym and outdoor spa and pool. We stayed across the road from Pacific Fair which was very convenient. We would certainly come back. Thank you for the memories.

This property was not reflective of the advertised photos. In fact, as a far as I can tell, there was only one photo from the apartment used. The apartment was in a poor state with a decent amount of maintenance required. Stains on carpets, chipped walls, dirty toaster/appliances. Can only assume the high rating is for the location, which was ideal. The management of the building didn’t want to hear from us and am still waiting for …”the manager will give you a call when they are in”. We were on the 11th floor and they are building a new apartment building directly in front of Ultra. When we booked we were assured we would have an apartment on floors 20-30. This was a blatant lie. Any view less than 20 floors won’t have a direct view to the beach when the current construction is completed.

Stayed for 3 nights. Was not advised upon check-in that renovations to the unit directly above us was happening. Woken at 7am the next morning to jackhammers directly above us - vibrating through our unit. Went on for hours. Called reception to ask how long it would continue for and ask why we weren't advised. (We were attending a wedding later that day and wanted a good rest the night before because we knew we would be having a late night). Reception advised they would credit us that night. Confirmed this with them at checkout. Days later called to enquire about refund only to be told they did not say that and that they wouldn't be putting it through - liars.

Fantastic location but construction in front.

Reception hours close at 3pm, so we had After Hours Checkin. Worked well. Bedroom carpet dirty. Sliding door on master wardrobe was stuck on 2 screws so wasnt able to slide over. Needs a few tweeks. Bedside table fell apart due to salt erosion which happens in an oceanfront apt. Ocean and city views amazing. Apartments 1 & 2 will have construction crane in front over the next few months. Undercover parking under building so convenient. Welcome Package was such a nice touch. Building is very modern. Pool and gym facilities are great. Easy walking distance to beach, Pacific Fair, tram station, broadbeach itself with unlimited dining options, Oasis Shopping Centre. I would definitely be back. Just ask for apartment on right side of building. Reception staff friendly and professional. Very safe to walk back from dinner in Broadbeach at night. Expect wear & tear, but overall fabulous size. Beds very comfortable too.

A great size apt, in a very convenient location

A spacious apartment right in Broadbeach. Fantastic amenities. A fabulous stay for my husband and I, as we love to walk everywhere. Building is looked after and the secure onsite parking is so convenient.

Apartment itself has everything you need for a vacation. Lots of storage, fully stocked kitchen with cutlery, dinnerware, cookware, microwave, etc. The Welcome Basket was a lovely touch.

Washing Machine, Dryer, very comfortable king bed and lounges too made it a very lovely stay.

Whale watching views from apartment!

Wonderful apartment that was spacious and clean. Had everything you need and they even left a little welcome box of snacks which was awesome. We were on the 23rd floor and the view is stunning. We watched a pod of whales from bed or on the balcony everyday. It is very close to the train and tram and two mins to the beach. Pool is heated and the spa pool is hot. Wonderful stay

There was a state of the art JBL sound system that could not be used, as there was no compatible remote and or it wasn't set up. Apart from that it was a wonderful stay. Great location, very peaceful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ultra! Centrally located within easy walking distance of cafes, beaches and shopping. Our unit looked to have brand new carpeting and was tastefully decorated.
We were pleasantly surprised to find a welcome pack in our room with some nibbles and water such a thoughtful gesture.
Only downside to our stay was the hot tub wasn't hot- luke warm which was a bit disappointing but by no means would stop us from staying there again. Highly recommend for couples or families

Very good location and facilities. We swam everyday in the heated lap pool. Only downside is an appartment building is in progress beside the pool which the apartments look over. This will go on for a couple of years. They did not work weekends, but best to contact property to see how much the noise and view will be impacted b4 you go. At this stage foundations are being prepared.
Also worth noting l, the apartment could have been cleaner. Housekeeping had not vacummed behind the bed, *very dusty)and the room refresh done after our first week of stay was superficial. Accommodation is not cheap. Given the building works, a discount should apply with full disclosure of what to expect.

We arrived from Perth to the Gold Coast quite early and was able to check in at about 10.30am. The receptionist was lovely and the room was great and spacious. So true to the pictures and videos that are on the Ultra Website. We were also fortunate to have a late checkout. The staff were always welcoming too.

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is wanting to go to the Gold Coast. My partner and I if we do go back to the Gold Coast will definitely be booking this hotel again. Will be recommending to family and friends too.

Ultra is in a great location, the facilities were clean and modern, the only thing that lets this place down is the age of the apartments. The furniture and walls had marks, the chrome in the sinks and basins were discoloured. The doors were hard to close, but overall the apartment was clean and had great views but just needed a bit of maintenance.

There is a large building site next door where high rise units are being built. We heard the work man each morning start at 6.20am. There were empty bottles under the lounge and bed (which weren't ours). The wifi was patchy. The car space allocated to our unit had another car in it for the entire duration of our stay. The location was handy but with so many options, we probably won't stay there again.

We were lucky enough to get an apartment on the 22nd floor so the views were amazing. The apartment was very clean, comfortable and the kitchen had all we needed. Beds were super comfy. Would recommend highly. Uber drivers found us easily.

Great place.

This is an excellent property brilliantly run. New, clean, easy walk to the beach and Pacific Fair. The parking garage has no exit signs. Pool area is great. The gym feels a bit dated. All in all excellent.
