Staff excellent and super helpful. Check in very easy and stress free. Room was great clean and good size,but we did book a high-level room, but room was on the second floor. For one night not a real problem. Facilities were first class, loved the pool area. would have been nice if bar/ cafe was open by the pool. For older guests the tocology in the room was a nightmare. Barcode didn't work to order food or contact restaurants in fact there was no real room service, after frustrating time ordering food it came to room like uber eats in a paper bag, no plates just eat out of cardboard containers. Not good for a romantic dinner in. For a classy place like the Dorsett, I would hope for better room service, or I suggest just eat out. Other than that, the stay was excellent and I highly recommend the Dorsett Hotel.

Rooms amazing and clean, staff were extremely helpful. Pool is defiantly one of the best in Broadbeach biggest pull point! Value for money amazing and the ease of the parking also made this place an all rounded great place to stay!

Did not explain the procedure to press for a parking ticket and then take it down to them for an added cost of $20 rooms were nice air conditioning did not work but service guy was there in 5min to fix it. Could not get back to parking without our room key so we were lucky to run into security who helped us! All in all too difficult and very disappointing

The parking is a nightmare. We were given a piece of paper which explained how to get to the parking, and then into the hotel. Nightmare. We had to park on a different level after getting in late, walking around for 15 minutes trying to find a lift, and then relocating to another level. They really need to get their act together. Then when we checked out, we went to get to the parking again. We went next door to the lifts where we first came down from the carpark, they were the wrong lifts. Seriously. So confusing and not professional at all. We had stayed here once before, and enjoyed it. We will never stay here again.

A part from the payment I would love to come back again. Mum was happy but grumpy too because we both had no idea the Casino was on level 3. We went the for MLTR concert and was surprised that everything was in the same build so we don't have to get soak in the rain or rush to tthe concert.

It was a last minute decision to go which made it hard to find a room close to where i wanted to go but found one near pacific fair and the weekend overall turned out as i hoped. For those that want it the casino was right next door,pacific fair in walking distance and light rail close by. The convention centre also in walking distance and i suspect beaches were close by to.

Housekeeping bit disappointing this time, didnt clean room in five hours we were away from room even with, make up room illuminated, so got back we put privacy sign on.
Next day room was cleaned early, but pillowcases, still had make up on them from 1st day., so bedding is not changed. Stayed four nights and no bedding changed. Dissapointed

I travel a lot and I stay at different star rating hotels and I’m blown away that these days high rating hotel services are at 1 star rating now. Service here was shocking , misinformation was given to us several times and for the money we paid the breakfast at McDonald menu had bigger range to chose from than this place. I’m very disappointed and please please do not waste your money going here if you are looking to at least get what you paid for as this hotel will NOT deliver that .

After paying for two days in full with my credit card the staff weren’t satisfied with that for whatever reason however they thought it was ok to leave me and my 10 year old son waiting from 3-4pm till 10:30/11pm due to the deposit amount being held up. The simple fact that I’d already spent $4300 on hotels in the same week should of been proof enough but I understand they had doubts fair enough but the smarter option would of been to charge me for the one day and take the 200 off the second day and should that be a drama at all

Enjoyed breakfast at Harvest Cafe, it was a shame that the person who served us, older lady with glasses and short hair, was so disrespectful towards people who she spoke to re room numbers to confirm breakfast bookings. No patience, rude to people ie ‘I can’t understand what you’re saying, what do you mean’ thankfully on the Monday morning it was back to a more polite and warm person serving people. Only low point in an otherwise wonderful stay. Special shout out to wonderful staff on reception who handed out Xmas cheer in the form of ‘bubbles’ whil we waited to be served. Also were wonderful with customers and most accommodating!

The staff at the front desk were terrible from the very beginning. Zero concept of customer service, or a basic sense of courtesy.

During the stay, there was a routine inspection of the room door for fire safety. No warnings or heads-up.

Paid for a panoramic view of a corner room. The two buildings (a few meters away) from the balcony were building/renovating their rooftop pools. Again, no heads-up.

Parking was also horribly inconvenient, even though guests have to pay extra.

Property was a bit confusing to get around with current construction blocking walkways however, Kiruna at the check in /out desk was super helpful, kind and was quick to answer any of our questions regarding parking and facilities in the property and appreciated the honesty regarding the laundry service. Our room was made up upon request however wasn’t up to the same standard on our last night. Parking was easy with number plate recognition to allow us to exit and enter as we pleased, and there was always a park available. Would happily stay here again.

We booked a king executive room which was the smallest executive room, we ever stayed at. Checking in was a slow process. The room doesn't have cable TV, which to us is a first. You need to mirror your media device to watch anything decent cause they only have free to air TV. If you need a bucket of ice that will set you back $3.00 . Let's move onto the executive lounge . Smallest selection of beers wines and canapes. It felt like they were drip feeding us prawns and oysters. Never saw more than 4 prawns or oysters at once. Let's move onto breakfast don't mind the eggs bacon hot breakfast . Well it was bone cold never experienced that in my entire life . As for the nice pool setup which is great. Opens early but for food and drinks looking at the hotel site the web etc we found 3 different times from 10 am 11 am and 12 am . It was overall disappointing it felt like a no frills establishment. Don't stay here and save your money please! Should it elsewhere like the QT in a similar price range. Breakfast is very average and super crowded, it was a jungle in there as it's joined with the star. Also a huge line to get in. Staff, housekeeping, etc don't care just there for a paycheck. Internal phones don't work, 3 lifts which break down frequently and no stairs, takes 15-30 minutes to get into a free lift and down at busy times. I could go on but you get the picture..
