Brilliant location but terrible customer service. It’s an aging hotel and in need of repairs. I was charged an extra $40 a night for a child under 5 years old. When I asked why, the explanation was for extra linen and towel. We received two sheets and an extra towel.

If I wanted to sleep in a nightclub, I’d book one. Our room was directly above three bars blasting music into the early hours, and most rooms sit right above these venues, not just ours. This should have been clearly mentioned before booking. I also emailed reception about the issue, but they didn’t bother to respond.

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights and overall, the experience was decent. The customer service was friendly and helpful, and the location is very convenient—close to public transport and plenty of shops, which made getting around and shopping easy.
However, a few things could be improved. The amenities were quite limited: we were only provided with one small shampoo and conditioner for the two of us, which wasn’t sufficient for a multi-night stay. Also, we were surprised to find that replacing the garbage bin liner came at an extra cost, which felt a bit unreasonable.
The stay was comfortable enough, but the lack of basic provisions made it feel less welcoming than it could have been.

The property is dated but in a great location. The floors in our apartment were dirty and by day 3 we found a broom so could sweep the whole apartment. One of the bathrooms/shower was dirty and the shower door kept coming off the rail, so everyone ended up using the other bathroom - one bathroom between 4 adults was hectic. Overall it had everything we needed, in a great location would have been more enjoyable if the rooms were cleaner and in full working order.

The location of the property is second to none! Food opportunities out your front door! Grocery Woolworths across the road! Parking is easy! I have stayed here four or five times! The cleanliness of this unit this time was appalling! Very out dated! Spoke to management and they said they would hopefully rectify the problem!

Great location in central Broadbeach. Spacious units,Friendly staff, good facilities - heated pool, spa, sauna, gym, free parking. Property is getting a little tired but comfortable and clean. Their cleaning expectations did seem unreasonable for the price- ie no daily cleans, you must put own garbage out but only one small garbage bag left for your stay, had to pay extra for beach towels, must clean all unit and kitchen before leaving or extra charge but youncan't even run dishwasher and leave clean dishes there etc etc So felt like a hotel price but with a self cleaning expectation. Overall I would recommend as a great location with good facilities.

We faced some challenges such as door not closing behind us. And in our busyness, the door was unlocked during the night , forgetting it did self lock. The safe was clumsy to lick. We were told yes it’s broken but can be locked a particular unusual way. Julie and others at Reception were very helpful, prompt accommodating and assisted us at all times. Rooms are very dated and showing their age. Very poor soundproofing, could hear next door singing, upstairs walking around and the nightlife from the venues downstairs blared into the room until it stopped at 10:15-10:30pm at night. We have stayed at the phoenician three times before. We were in the same apartment in 2023 and thought it needed some renovation. Back in the same room this stay and the condition of the apartment has deteriorated even more. The cleanness wasn't up to it either. I wonder if this apartment was allocated to us because it booked through a deal but if I booked it myself direct I would have not been happy. Disappointed with this stay. Great location and facilities but rooms really should be upkept.

Very good value for money spacious 1 bedroom apartment with everything you need and great views. Very nice location close to the beach, public transport, shops, resteraunts etc. All staff very friendly and helpful. (Diana was a legend!) Too busy to use any of the facilities but the pool looks nice!

The receptionist was so lovely and welcoming, she has been there for 14 years I believe and she was just such a pleasure to deal with. The property was clean, tidy and had everything you needed. It’s quite outdated but to be fair, I think it added character to the building and I still really enjoyed our stay. Will definitely be back!!

Had a great stay. Apartments are very well positioned in the heart of Broadbeach however it lacks sound proofing so extremely noisy at night. The main bedroom window was unable to be closed so noise was heard all night. Rubbish trucks and builders start at 5:30am so don’t expect a sleep in. Accommodation is a generous size and very clean. It is a little dated and could do with some upgrades but comfortable and lacks nothing in facilities or location to Broadbeach.
