Perfect location and beautiful ocean views. 1 minute walk to beach, 5 minutes walk to shops and cafes. Most importantly is is NOT on the highway. Absolutely stunning views. Alleged 4 star building but it is 3 star at best. Indifferent services and tight on all amenities. It promotes itself as beachside and also has a nice pool yet beach towels are not provided; ridiculous ideas of customer service.

Great views and roomy apartment. The photos on wotif are not necessarily the apartment you will receive. Some are dated and ours was dirty. No daily cleaning or clean towels. You will need to buy cleaning supplies and soap/shampoo but there is a Woolworths close by. We were put in a 2 bedroom unit but only booked a 1 bedroom. We got charged for using the 2nd bedroom and bathroom $60 a night even though the main bathroom was covered in mould.

We loved the apartment we stayed in at the Talisman! I wanted to ensure we had a view (because, well, we were on the Gold Coast), and the view was spectacular!
Being across the road from the beach was amazing. And everything was within a close walk, or if we needed to go further afield, we were so centrally located that it was easy.
The apartment itself was spacious, modern, and comfortable. It had a lovely beachy vibe.
Checking in was super easy.

From check-in everything felt great! ☺️Natalia at Reception was friendly and welcoming. Room 71 on the 23rd level was spacious and spotlessly clean, just as we requested! 😉 No carpets - Perfect!!! Shiny, super clean, large European, marble-like tiles encased this magnificent apartment. Rugs on floor gave the apartment a warmer ambience, although, I personally prefer no carpets or rugs. 😊 The kitchen provided all the glassware, crockery, cutlery, utensils

Had a lovely stay at the Talisman. It’s all about the location as it’s right across from the beach and an easy walk to all the shopping and dining in Broadbeach. It’s an older building but is very well maintained and looked after. Our apartment was nicely renovated and had everything you need. Beds were good. Disappointing that we couldn’t find a recycle bin just a 10 cent container bin but there were recycle bins across the road in the park.
Sofas had electric recline functions which were disabled so that left the impression they were hand me downs from another property. Well worth paying for the superior ocean view as the view is fantastic.

The maintenance on the unit was poor, in particular the wind out windows were all broken and could not be opened or closed properly. During inclement weather water entered in places and clothes pegs were used to stop the windows rattling. Also some of the knobs on the kitchen cabinets were missing. Could have a couple more towels. Pool great except it was 32 degrees. Cooler a few days later. Central to everything in Broadbeach. Walkable to restaurants and shopping. Washer, dryer and dishwasher. Full size fridge and microwave. Easy on site parking.

Our Talisman Apartment was fabulous. We checked in early enough to meet the deadline and collect our keys, we were greeted by friendly staff, the apartment was marvellous with fantastic views. The main living area had aircon, and the only downside was the bedrooms had no aircon, only ceiling fans. Everything else was great and within easy walking distance of great restaurants and bars.

It was very noisy, bedrooms need to be doubleglazed. The apartment had not been properly cleaned before wr arrived. The apartment was on a different side of the building to what was advertised and the balcony was considerably smaller. I recommend checking as to what is being provided. It is though, in a great spot and the staff are lovely.

We recently had a 10 night stay at Talisman. We had a wonderful time. We found the staff to be very friendly and attentive to our needs. The power cut out one day and it was restored by the time we arrived back later that day. Loved the area compared to other areas of the Gold Coast. We had a 2 bedroom apartment on a high floor and the uninterrupted views of the beach and Surfers were amazing. The location was very convenient - close to Woolies supermarket in the Oasis Shopping Centre, close to restaurants and just cross the road and you are on the beach. 6 minute walk to Broadbeach North Translink stop and a 12 minute walk to Pacific Fair. The rooms were spacious and clean. Our apartment was serviced midway through our stay - fresh linen, towels, toiletries, tea towel, tea, coffee and biscuits. We had a few disruptions during our stay as the faulty dining table needed to be removed and switched with another quite early as we were getting ready to go on a day tour and then it was replaced by a new table 3 days later. There was a unit being renovated on our floor with occasional drilling etc. but this really didn’t bother us as we were out and about most of the time. The construction work in the street close by bothered us more as it seemed to start very early - 5.30 am one morning and 6 am on most mornings. We hope to be back to Talisman in the future.

Awsome view. About 50 m from the beach and a few minute walk through the park to a fantastic eating and drinking area. Just about every taste catered for. Close to huge shopping mall. Great heated pool and spa pool. Big underground free car park. Room was a little tired but great with good kitchen area and Netflix. Definitely would stay again.

Downsides- The rooms needed a good dusting and the linens/pillows had seen better days. Plus, for the price per night I would expect a coffee pod machine (not instant coffee from the 80s) in the kitchen and facial tissues in the bathroom at a bare minimum. It was also kind of weird that the 2nd bedroom / bathroom was locked with threatening notes on the doors about paying extra if we breached them - felt like we were being treated like schoolies.
And one red flag- I was not OK with sending a copy of my license details (in addition to a $500 credit card imprint) into some 3rd party booking system ahead of check in (again with a threat that if we didn' t we could lose out booking); all because the reception is not manned all day on weekends. With cyber crime and ID theft on the increase, there is no way we should be asked to do this ahead of check-in ( who stores these details digitally and where??) - this is a very odd request and not at all safe. Beware.

We had a great time staying at Talisman Apartments. The communication about check-in was not entirely clear (reception were going to be closed when we arrived) but we figured it out. The apartment was perfect for our needs but there were some parts that were broken or not working. The location was fantastic - the beach was right across the road and the outdoor heated swimming pool was great. The BBQ facilities were great. The local shopping centre was a 4 minute walk away - perfect for picking up groceries. And there were lots of local restaurants and cafes nearby.
