both hubby n i very ill from stay..so much dust and mould. we are both off work for a week!!!! ive paid $130 a night at a motel nearby in the recent past and had better conditions. your bed didnt even have a proper mattress protector. most places have a topper to disguise bad matress but not at yours. the sofa/sofabed needs to be disposed.... are average weight couple and it sank so badly. we had to use spare blanket to cover before sitting on it. did u even know your curtains are mouldly and can cause serious inhalant harm. Just like my husband n myself. ive lost a weeks wages now!!!!!!!!

First, a warning... They take a photo of the front and back of your credit card when you check in.
The place was absolutely disgusting. I stay in the Gold Coast quite a bit and thought that this time I would just stay in an ok place and nothing fancy.
Stayed on the first of March for 2 nights. Had to leave after the first night and book a different place because of a strong smell of urine and a solid chunk of human waste that was left on a spare blanket.
Advised that they should be in contact with me about compensation. they never called.
I got Expedia to contact them about a refund. They refused.
The place is gross. So gross that I had to book another place to leave this place for my second night. It was actually that bad.
And they clearly accept this as standard because they wouldn't even entertain even a partial refund.
There's a group of about 5000 people all around Australia that travel to the Gold Coast several times every year to attend business events. I'm going to make sure they stay clear of this dumpster fire.

Received no information about how to get in.
Lift very slow and broken down when I wantedto leave which meant that I had to rely on another guest to finish pacling and bring my gear down.

When we arrived we had an apartment allocated that was very dirty but absolutely stank of long term cigarette smoke it permeated everything and in fact the whole complex stank. They offered another apartment and this one had not even been cleaned. One lady from another one of their resorts came and did her best but the kitchen was flithy, the drawers were flithy and had food scraps in them. The cooktop was in such bad condition did not use it. This is room stank as well just not as bad. A drawer under the bed was out and broken on the floor and one window by the bed had no curtain so you could see straight into the bed. On further review the air con unit on the deck had rubbish under it clearly no one had even bothered to check it and had not done so for a while. Management sorted the drawer and curtain but took some of the deck rubbish but clearly did not really care. We spent the 1st 2 days cleaning and had to buy air freshners to get the atmosphere right. Old facility needing major maintenance including the slowest lift ever experienced, extremely dissatisfied with accomodation and have asked them what they are going to do about it was not up to standard for money paid and we are chasing for a partial refund. Summary terrible and apart from lady first day complacent staff. They said would review refund request never came back. We have been to the Gold Coast frequently much better options, avoid this property.

Very basic old style accommodation. Too much outdoor lighting at night. Blockout drapes did not fully fit the openings. Thrre was no natursl light during the day due to the tall builing next door. Barbeque had been out of order for sometime but there wss no mention about it. Web info says to contact using given numbers, but they did not work at any time. Had to look up their website for email. Reception was never open.

The location was handy enough - a 10 minute walk to shops, restaurants and beach.
The place offered everything it said but was terribly tired eg gnarled toilet seat, corroded shower, grotty floor tiles. A thick layer of dust at the back of the bed. TV screen was really grotty - making it look unclean. The kitchen supplies were scarce eg 3 coffee and 3 tea bags for 3 people over 3 days and a price list of 50c and $3 for a toilet roll for additional (if you could get to the front desk when it was open. It seemed rather mean-spirited. Parking was tight requiring a 20-point turn to park. Worse of all we booked for 3 adults and the unit was only suitable for a double - only a double bed and and worse of all an extremely uncomfortable sofa bed plonked right in front of the TV (I had to take ibuprofen every night to get at least some sleep).
Overall a disappointing stay and I could not recommend this place.

The property is next door to a massive high rise developement site with high noise levels day and night from the construction works. Had i known this i would not have booked this apart,i asked the manager to change rooms and was told impossible as full. do not stay at this place !!!

The fit out was worn and dated but immaculately clean. The receptionist was veery pleasant and did what she could, however, I was driven out of my room by excessive noise from mulch being pumped onto the garden. I appreciate that maintenance needs to be done but during school holidays when I am paying premium prices this was totally unacceptable having gone on for hours before I gave up and left.

Be aware that reception is not staffed outside of business hours and if you leave your key in the room there is a fifty dollar charge to be let back in. The impression left is that the priority of this facility is dollars and not guests. I would not go back.

Functional and spacious unit

This is a great area, with easy access to the beach, shops, light rail, casino etc. This complex has a great pool, spa, BBQ, parking and the units are functional and comfortable, although a little tired. I think the name suggests that they will lead directly onto the beach or at least an ocean view, so it is probably a little disappointing that they really have no outlook at all. However, it is only a stroll to everything Broadbeach has to offer.

Easy access from the gc airport to apart. Short walk to broadbeach and pacific fair. Had a 2 level superior apartment with tv up and down. Quiet location but in need of refurb. No oven. Pool and spa clean. Tip - bus outside gc airport finishes run 300mtrs from apart - save $40 or 50 each way.

Bit of a break in broadbeach.

Great position, near the shops and the beach and the tram . Good studio apartment, bed comfortable, shower great, pool and spa ok, bed settee was uncomfortable Good secure parking. but was dissapointed because we didn't get the room as shown on the hotel.com web site.hotel.com rang the hotel but nothing could be done. We were on the ground floor behind palms. On frI day before we left the Internet went down and we were told it couldn't be fixed until Monday.

The Hotel in well located, the management are friendly and attended to our needs. The actual unit we stayed in was number 1 on the ground floor, it is in the shade all day which might be OK in summer but in the final week of winter was a bit cold.

Arrived mid-afternoon in brilliant sunshine having left home that morning in a minus 2 degree frost. Pre-ordered groceries from Woolworths were already in our room. The public transport system on the Gold Coast is second to none - absolutely wonderful. Only got 1/2 an hour of rain on the last day - will be back next year.

We have used the Santa Anne before and been happy with our room and facilities.This time we found the whole place very tired. The paint and the walls outside the lift were damaged and in need of repair, plus we could not get the Foxtel TV to work. The complex blamed bad reception.This lasted the 9 nights we were there. Not good enough. So in a few words I will not be recommending Santa Anne to my friends.

Overall a great place. For the price you are paying don't expect shiny new apliances, but everything works, it's all clean/well maintained, and everything is there, for cooking/clothes washing etc. Realy nice staff. Close to a supermarket, I spent most afternoons swimming at the beach, walked 200m to supermarket/wine, home to cook - amazing!

Good location but hotel has a few issues

I stayed there for a week. Had a ground floor unit out of 3 levels and the biggest complaint is that every single morning I was woken up by a baby screaming from a nearby unit. I believe they have permanent residents there. Walls were paper thin and could everything going on in the reception. Every time a person checked in or out etc. The pool area is super small and not much else in the way of amenities. Don’t be fooled by the pictures of it being on an upper floor, the cheaper apartments are all on the ground floor. However, the staff were really friendly and the location is great. Room was clean and comfortable, however the reverse cycle on the air con doesn't work.

Obviously time share...coming in is messy needing to phone an agency and get access to a key. Never saw a living soul during our stay and reception closed every time we went passed. Despite booking months ago, assigned a room stuck around the side ground floor. No view . It may be...by the sea....but you see any of it. That aside, room comfortable and clean. The attached pic is somewhat petty..$1 for an extra toilet roll etc !!

Very good location for beach, and restaurants

This motel is very well located for access to beaches, shop, restaurants and public transport. The particular room we were in, room 12, had a toilet that continued to fill very noisily because it was not functioning properly - unacceptable. It was not able to be repaired during our stay. Other than this the room was large enough for the 2 of us and well equipped, however we only ate out and I don't think I would have been very impressed with cooking on the quality of stovetop provided.

I recently stayed at Sante Anne for 4 nights in a studio apartment which was quite spacious. The apartment had a mouldy smell to it and was very evident when you first walked in the door. I looked for evidence of mould but could not find but thought it might have been the airconditioner.
During my stay the pool was out of action due to green water which was very disappointing that it took so long to rectify and it was still not fixed on the day I left.
The apartment bathroom is large but needs attention to the tiles in the shower, looking very tired.
Location was excellent but would have chosen another hotel had I known about the pool as there are so many to choose from.

We had issues with the kitchen light and washing machine. Less than 2 minutes, Mei, the hotel manager, came to fix.the issues. She arranged for change of bulb and alternative arrangements for a washing machine. Excellent customer service.

Very disappointing, not good value for money. Quite comfortable, no outlook what so ever in our room. Breakfast on the balcony overlooked a vacant block and other units. There isn't an oven, although a convection microwave is available.

The apartment was really close to the beach, restaurants, Pacific Fair and the convention centre. It was really good value for money and had everything we could want. The only thing I would suggest is having a more comfy couch to lounge around in. We were there for a week and wanted to just chill but the sofa wasn't really designed for that. Ours was the deluxe apartment which I believe is much better than the standard so I would recommend paying the slight difference.

Stayed ten nights in a large sized studio appartment. The building is in south Broadbeach so its just a ten minute walk to Pacific Fair shops, Jupiters and the centre of Broad Beach and the beach is just a couple minutes down the street.

\"Mine hosts\" shouldn't be anywhere near a point of contact desk..the female instructed me that the internet screen near the office was very slow and the male stood the whole time tapping on his phone, ignoring me. The towels, sheets, coffee and sugar weren't changed over the three days and the room smelt stale.No cleaning was done and written advice from \"management\" suggested that rubbish should be taken down to the bins downstairs and any mess left by the guest would incur a tariff over and above the room rate. There was NO management going on at all.

Revolting, Disgusting , Never Again

We checked in very late to this place with a 4 night stay ahead of us.
We were woken by bright light at 6.30am as the blinds had no block out whatsoever. Our backs were aching from a bad double bad with springs coming through and no pillow topper.
The tv was the smallest we had ever seen and was about 6 metres away from the bed and couch.
There was thick black hair in the shower and the bathroom was filthy.
No face washers , no bath mat so we had to use a hand towel for the floor.
The tiles were greasy in the bathroom and kitchen and everything was old and chipped.
The carpet was a light blue and was heavily stained and filthy and the curtains I'm sure had been bought from a flood damaged sale as they were all water stained a brownish colour and other marks on them also.
We complained and the manager then showed us to another room which was just as bad.
We couldn't believe it !
We said to her it's unacceptable and she said I will give you a free nights accommodation.
After seeing a sticky white substance on a cushion on the bed we said we would like a full refund and would like to check out now and go elsewhere.
They said sure ,no problem.
I travel regularly and this was the worst room I have ever stayed in - revolting !

Clothes dryer didnt work. (They did get it fixed for us). Had to boil kettle to wash dishes- hot water ran out every morning early for whole day..
Had to put peg in curtain to hold together because of missing prongs. One breakfast bowl between two people, although there was three small desert bowls, kitchen crockery very minimal (too bad if you had a visitor). missing light fitting in lounge area and a gemeral shabbiness to the whole unit.
Would never go back.

Great location, never saw staff as they had limited hours over the crissy break, hence my low score.

The room itself was OK, bathroom and sheets all clean, but the hidden areas like drawers weren't clean. The kitchen utensil drawer had food in it. The bin when I emptied it looked like it had never ever been washed out, a new bin liner was all that was ever done. Bathroom shower was a bit mouldy.

Overall the place is good, big, spacious and has everything you need there, it was just a few things like the cleanliness that was the let down. Stuff in plain view was clean, hidden stuff wasn't.

The foyer smelt like smoke. Like bad stale smoker room smokey. Rooms didn't smell smokey though.

The apartment had everything we needed. However, there were some cleanliness issues. For example, there were lots of ants, so we had to meticulously clean after each meal. There was also mould in the bathroom and a foul smell from the drain, and blood stains on the alarm clock and curtains. The kitchen equipment was very simple, as though several items of crockery had broken and not been replaced (e.g., there was a creamer and tea cups with saucers, but no teapot; only one size of plate; no cutting board).

The proximity to the beach was lovely and we enjoyed the view of the trees and birds in the mornings.

It was very central for us to all the surrounding entertainment areas ect ect
Easy as to get to Oasis Mall,Pacific Fair and the casino
Great many eating/restaurants to eat at with great atmosphere.

Centrally located for Broadbeach shops, restaurants, beach and tram/buses to connect with surfers paradise and Burleigh. Our room was comfortable, quiet and well equipped. Staff were helpful, reception only open during day.
