Nothing like their photos. Dirty, old, globes missing in the light fittings, lack of kitchen ware, a PowerPoint fitted on the splash back directly behind one the stove hobs. How that is not a serious safety issue I don’t know. Water leaking throughout the indoor walkways. Staff are very friendly. Would not recommend

There are different units that are rented. My complaint was my unit wasn’t cleaned too well. Long hair in the bathroom vanity drawers (about 4 with hair). There was also short black hair( you know) in the shower. This morning I noticed that the floor drain slightly under the vanity had ‘’stuff’’ clogging some of the drain slits. Before leaving I wiped the glass tops of nights stands and dried with paper towels I’d bought. Wiped quite a bit and dried with p.towel. FYI, there are no ‘’wash cloths’’ US terminology or Face Towels. I hand towel though this was sleeping for 4 ppl. That is standard, 1 towel per person and 1 hand towel per unit. You can pay for extra towels but no wash cloths (to wash your face with ). There are different levels of units. Mine was not refurbished and had a junky look.miss matched china, glasses, etc. Another unit up higher was so much nicer and priced accordingly. The bed was fine, the TV worked. I didn’t cook. Just tea and ready made items to bring and eat. Oh, one teeny waste basket in the toilet room for ALL OF YOUR WASTE! 1 plastic bag for my 3 days. Location was fine, a view of the pool area and grass. Beach is just across the street and the grassy esplanade.Pacific Fair about a $10-12 Uber. my unit had a washer. Communal dryer in the basement for $2. Some units DO have washer and dryer.

Full refund required - we didn't even get to stay!

I booked this hotel on the day I wanted to stay there and then went to the property but there was no reception staff past 5pm - I arrived at 5:15pm and so I could not even enter the door to access the property - let alone our booked room.

I called their number which was supposed to be providing 'after hours' service almost 20 times and it either rang out or was hung up repeatedly. I used the Hotels.com chat function and texted with a support agent who said they called the property and advised us to call them again. We did call more than 10 more times and it was again either not answered or it was hung up as soon as someone picked it up.

I also tried to cancel the booking on the Hotels.com app and it would not let me do it due to some 'ongoing support activity' which never led anywhere.

I also tried to contact the property via text using the Hotels.com app and it gave me a technical error each time I tried.

In the end I had to book another hotel at very short notice so we had somewhere to stay.

I want a full refund for this very frustrating experience!!!

We were in Broadbeach for a conference at the Convention Centre but paying for ourselves and so wanted somewhere cheap.
Ideally located between the Centre and the beach with parking included. On the top (6th floor) of an older building but a large unit with perfectly adequate facilities, very friendly staff.

The room at first glance was pleasant with a lovely view of the ocean and park. It was so disappointing to find that the apartment was not that clean. There is significant Mould and rust in the shower that looks like it's been there for a long time. Bathroom floor was filthy. There was a hole in the blanket we used. Sliding door frames had not been cleaned - more mould. Fridge had fluff and dust clinging to it. Would never stay here again. It's a pity because location and view is perfect.

Great communication leading up to our stay. Very accommodating, giving us extra free parking and a late check out. Lovely reception that was very helpful. Newly renovated and modern inside the apartment. A very comfortable stay for a great price. A great location just a stroll away to the beach and the best restaurants. Pool and spa was lovely and clean. I would stay here again.

Great Stay with a Homy Experience!

Great Location Apartment! Literally walking distance from everything, has fully functional kitchen, great for homy breakfasts or late night snacking! Also washing machine inside the apartment is greatbfor the linger stays, definitely would highly recommend.

A bit of Cali Vibe in the heart of Broadbeach

Hi Ho Beach Apartments are a gem in the middle of high rise Broadbeach. It has a bit of a Cali vibe, especially as you walk into the newly decorated foyer. The pool is awesome. I had it to myself quite a few days. A smallish pool with Spa surrounded by a tropical garden and lots of outside furniture. There is also a lawn area with picnic tables for an outside dinner.

Hi Ho is right in the centre of Broadbeach. It is right on the Kurrawa park and a block from the Oasis Shopping centre and dining precinct. The bus stop to Pacific Fair Shopping centre is just around the corner and currently 50c a ride. I hired a bike for the week and locked it up in the asement carpark. This was great as there is a path all the way to Main Beach and down to Miami Beach in the other direction.
My room was ground floor and had a tropical outlook over the pool. I had the sliding door open most nights but there is an air conditioner to use if needed. There is no wardrobe in this room but an open shelf and clothes hanging rod that was all i needed. The smart TV had all the streaming channels that you would need. My bed was super comfortable and had a selection of pillows. There was a balcony with a clothes aier to dry clothes after washing.

The bathroom was quite roomy with a walk in shower, basin and a washing machine.

Overall I loved my stay and will look to book for septemebr school holidays next year.

I received a confirmation both from Expedia and Hi ho. However, I arrived at the reception of Hi Ho and call the number they want me call, Hi Ho said there isn't my name on their list. I provide my name, my phone ,my email and other details that should be shown in the confirmation, and finally Hi Ho refused to give me the way to enter in. That led to the terrible experience that the whole family stay in the car for the whole night and could not find an available hotel to stay in.

Property was in a great spot, walking distance to beach, to shops and dining areas. The entrance to Hiho was bright and inviting. Pool and bbq area was lovely.
We had 1 bedroom apartment on 4th floor (403) for 2 adults and teen. Apartment was good. Looked like the kitchen was updated. A few things need attention, ceiling needs a good clean, maybe a paint. Walls could do with a paint. Spotlight in kitchen wasn’t in use and had a thick layer of dust/dead bugs. Balcony floor could’ve had a clean. Also sofa looked and felt like it had seen better days.
Our queen bed was comfortable and teens single bed was good.
Apartment had lots of natural light which we enjoyed. It was good for a short stay and we would definitely stay again. The price was good.

Don’t think twice!

Me and my friends were there for just a night. The place itself makes you feel like at home. It was very clean and tidy. I loved the interior of the place. I left my wallet in the hotel which had all my important cards and also cash in the room. I got a call from them informing me about it. And they were able to give it to me afterhours which I appreciate very much. People there are marvellous. I would not think twice to go back there.

Excellent beds, fresh linen and we were allocated a city view apartment, although it had a glimpse of the sea from balcony. Hotel Swimming pool was heated so kids could enjoy after later afternoon check-in. 7KW EV charger was available. Wifi was weak and did loose TV connection a few times. Seperate toilet and bathroom helped a family of 4 get ready quickly in the morning. Lift available and secure parking in the basement accessible with room keys. 5 mins walk to Broadbeach and dining facilities was a plus.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay. Had a small issue night 1, the staff tried to fix but couldn't so they moved our room and was no effort at all to do so. Close to the beach, the pool and spa were beautiful, the rooms are extremely generous and a balcony to enjoy the view. Will stay again. Thanks so much!

Good value for a short getaway or stay in the heart of Broadbeach. Location was great, room was fine for a short stay. It did not really match the pictures on the listing photo which show an end room facing the beach, but we could still see the beach if we poked our heads out of the balcony. For the price you know you are getting an older style room, but it was comfortable enough for two of us. Was nice to have covered parking, and check in and out was easy. We would stay here again. The only thing I would say is I could hear someone screaming on the street late at night and construction in the morning so you can hear a lot of the noise coming from the surrounding area.

The facilities are OK, had everything you need but is tired and run down.
Our couch was dirty, the bed uncomfortable, the shower tiles and surrounds don't look like they have been cleaned in a while, marks on the walls and the rug dirty.
The outside table on the deck was rusty.
We did get clean sheets and towels once a week.
Nice little pool but some of the loungers need replacing.
Grounds are well kept.
Extremely handy to the foreshore walkway, Oasis centre and Kurrawa Beach and surf club.

The property was not new but well maintained. Our accommodation was clean and everything was in good condition. The property is close to shopping areas and within walking distance of many restaurants. The beach is across the road from the property as are parks and walking paths. A very pleasant area to stay.

It was supposed to be a superior apartment with ocean views, more like ocean glimpses.

The floor was dirty, it had not been vacuumed or washed.

The toilet was dirty, i had to clean it.

The bath had hair in it, i had to clean it before using it.

Toiletries are meant to be included, none there.

Fridge was dirty, i had to clean it before i used it.

Went to make a coffee, cup was dirty.
Took the toaster out and crumbs dropped everywhere and not just a small amount either.

Draw in bedside was full of dirty bandages with dried blood on them.

I spent over an hour cleaning the apartment before i could unpack.

I went down to reception 3 times and pressed the buzzer to speak to someone, waited but noone came.

When i first arrived i waited 15 minutes to check in because noone was at home the front counter. Pressed the buzzer 2 times and noone came. Eventually a woman came and said she didnt know how to use the system to check me in so she phoned her husband who arrived 5 minutes later.
The door to the balcony was so hard to open, need to really use your muscles on this one.
I was there for 5 days too long.

Cleanliness was a problem, l had to buy wipes and wipe all surfaces, finger marks very obvious, the couch needed to be changed as the cushioning was gone, not enough utensils, just the basics, honestly l could not recommend these apartments, l would give it a star rating if 2 for location. It would not take much to buy new mattresses, couch, more utensils, told staff, about couch nothing done, we were also entitled to mid week clean never happened! Overpriced!

Great location, lovely balcony views in room 505. Slightly dated decor but it’s clean and very functional for a family of four. Air conditioner is very effective. Would definitely recommend, but could do with some additional toiletries and tissues as part of the welcoming pack. Thanks for having us 🙂

A friendly phone call for check on but no other contact with front desk. The unit was quite dirty is some parts and there were stains on the couch and cushions. However the space was really big and good facilities for cooking and ironing gear. Not the worst stay but could do with a good deep clean and upgraded furniture

The two bedroom unit had one toilet no ensuite one towel rack in the bathroom the sink water took a long time to go down. The kitchen had the barest minimum of items no electric frypan there was only a washing machine and the coin operated dryer was in the basement in a room that was very messy. Not worth the amount paid per night at all.

Apartment 606 is a bit tired and cleaners are not dusting. Bed lamps and fake plants were very dusty. It's quite difficult to clean dishes and pans with a small square of chux - a dish brush would be helpful

I booked 1 night for my family of 5 and ended up staying 2. It's a great location, only 3 min walk to the beach and 5 min to Kurrawa surf club. The kids loved the pool and spa area and the fast wifi. Tim and Natalia were excellent hosts and we would be happy to recommend to friends and family. We'll be back again.
