The staff were wonderful which is the sole reason I did not complain in person. - I found the expectations of the resort odd and out of place when paying this much for a room. Having to take out your own garbage and do your dishes to avoid a cleaning fee is insane to me. Bed was very uncomfortable and the pillows were clearly very cheap & flat.

Lovely apartment, clean and quiet. Lots of space. My only complaint is that new pillows are needed. They are flat and provide no neck support. In addition, there are as no paper towels or tissue in the unit. One roll of paper towels and a box of tissue would be very helpful!

This is our 4th or 5th stay at The Phoenician and won’t be our last. We were in room 2714 which is a 2 bedroom apartment on the 7th floor. This was our second time in this apartment and hopefully we can stay in this apartment again. It’s clean, quiet (a little bit of road noise and noise from the bars and cafes downstairs but not enough to keep us awake) and it’s in a great location. The staff at Broadbeach Holiday Apartments are very friendly and welcoming. We look forward to staying again.

We arrived early morning on Good Friday from an overnight flight. Even though everything was closed the owners ensured we were looked after and able to check in to get a rest. Greeted by a beautiful older man who was very polite and helpful.

We always love our stay through Broadbeach Holiday apartments, this latest apartment , even though it was small (part of an A & B joined foyer setup) it had everything, and was very well laid out, with plenty of furniture and seating. This time we had a view of the pool because we were on a lower floor, my preference is a high floor with street view, but, it was very nice and serene. Yes, bathroom and kitchen are older, but, who cares, when it's all clean and well laid out.

I love the location! Close to public transport, restaurants, mall, park and the beach. The apartment unit is overlooking the beach which is a bonus! It is massive, with complete amenities and access to the apartment’s pools, sauna and gym. The staff are all lovely. Truly relaxing!

Loved the location, and size of the apartment was huge. The shower head was massive and the apartment was nice and modern. We had an issue with the washing machine and the maintenance man fixed it ASAP. Loved the air con, but felt it could have done with another air con unit in the bedroom as it was hot and stuffy, and the cheap floor fan was quite noisy and didnt circulate the air very well. Staff were very helpful.

Unfortunately there were obvious corners cut in the room to the detriment of the guest's experience. Worst of all was the hygiene and condition of the pillows. Please check the pillow's condition underneath the pillow slip. 4/6 of the pillows available were yellow stained and used beyond their expected lifespan. Mattress had zero support and sagged in heavily used spots. Complimentary toiletries were two soaps and one shampoo... Atleast provide conditioner to go with the shampoo? Toilet paper was very thin... And if you run out of the supplied toilet paper the instructions tell you to go to Woolworths to buy more which I thought was rude for something so basic for hygiene? Bathroom was lovely and clean except for dirty yellow stained grout around the shower drain. Paint on the bathroom cabinets was peeling off everywhere. Curtains had large obvious stains which is unfortunate, but where people had touched the white backing to open them there were dark dirt/food stains up and down. Lamp shades had large stains on them and were starting to deteriorate with cracks inside the shades.
I'm not sure how the other rooms compared as they are owned by different people. If I had to, I would stay again and hope for a better quality room and mattress and I'll definitely be checking my pillows first!
