The staff were very nice and helpful, however our stay was quite disappointing. The wifi didn’t work at all when we got there and even after getting fixed we kept losing connection a few times. Bathroom light was out. Air conditioning was completely broken and took few days to install a new one. We got a spot cooler as a temporary replacement but that was connected to the balcony so our window partially needed to be open which made us feel uncomfortable and unsafe, especially at night. Again, the staff provided swift support when asked with professional manner, but unfortunately we felt there were many issues we had to deal with.

We were very happy 😃 good value for money. We had nothing to complain about. Close to the shops and beach, perfect location. The manager, Rex, was great to deal with very friendly and accommodating. Would not hesitate to return, thank you for a lovely stay.

Great location, close to broadbeach centre with all the shops, restaurants etc. Short walk to the beach and across the highway from the Pacific fair and Casino, but that's about it. The place itself is old and rundown, the apartment was tiny, had damaged doors a partially working cooktop and no oven which i thought would have been standard in any apartment, pots and pans so old and damaged they were unusable so we couldn't cook, a ceiling fan that only worked on high speed so couldn't use that, lots of noise into the bedroom, many other small things i won't get into, we left the place cleaner than when we got it. In need of a major overhaul, wouldn't rate this property more than 2 stars, not worth the price and would definitely be giving it a miss next time. Also i have seen other reviews and the bad ones have quickly been knocked down by the owner so believe the people who have actually stayed there and had the experience. Good luck

Good location but too pricey lack of facilities

Location is very good but apartment lacks lots of facilities like no lifts directly from car parking / no dishwasher / no clocks / no room services / cook top very slow / ants on the bed / small rooms / too noisy being on the main road / due to rain makes horrible noises so couldn't get sleeps. Car parking sensors programming is aboslutley terrible & really painful (owners must get this fixed ASAP or can kill someone in the car because it doesn't stop closing the garage door even if the car is standing there)
Overall it's average wouldn't recommend anyone.

Great location in Broadbeach - one block to the beach and 2 blocks to the supermarket and restaurant strip. The split level apartment was fantastic for a small family and the friendly manager was so accommodating to our requirements for 3 friends having a few

Broadbeach Travel Inn apartments are set in a great location. The apartment was clean, however we were unable to get clean towels due to the minimal reception hours. The second bedroom did not have a window and there were wooden shutter windows above the king bed that opened to the second bedroom, so you could hear everything between rooms. The toilet had a small window up high that you could not open and no fan.
Overall it was a great stay, just wasn’t exactly what we expected.

Although older it is very clean and the property is close to all Broadbeach has to offer. So a short walk to restaurants and the beach. The only downside (and this would affect every property in the area) is the main street has some loud traffic on it very late into the weekend nights. All in all great value for the price and with very friendly and helpful property mangers

Very horrible place to stay

My stay was very horrible! I would not advise any Families to booke this apartment because it was very dirty, dust everywhere and smelling! My son couldn’t even spend a night here because he would have an asthma attack! After I spend a night I end up having an hayfever! Can you imagine who have hay fever on summer time! Also, the lady that call herself the manager for the property, she was very rude and racist towards Africans and it was not welcoming at all! Overall the property was false advertisement on the website! I warned you don’t take your Families to this!

The coffee cups were beyond filthy,The back sliding door was broken which hurt my hand and fingers on 2 occasions due to it having rusty screws hanging out and the rollers on the door were so old .
The mattress was terrible and we slept with springs digging into us all night.
For $220 we are not happy,We did receive a text of the manager to say these things had been fixed but a bit late as we had already stayed there and had to endure the broken & dirty items in the unit

Location was good - close to convention centre. Hubby and son enjoyed the pool. The listing specified king bed but was in reality the same size as a queen and when asking at reception was told that it was industry standard to call it a king if it was the same as two king singles together. Washing machine in room was out of order. Nice decor and good basic accommodation otherwise.

Good position for beach, shopping and eating out

Staff very helpful, bedrooms shared a wall with shuttered windows between with one bedroom not having external windows which meant that privacy and ventilation was limited. Parking is very limited and awkward for vehicles with a height of 1.9ms or with roof racks.

Great location.

Large room that requires some love. Very outdated. No bath. The balcony view overlooked the highway and the casino so be sure to request the view you desire. Was pleasant but won't stay again.

Old but spacious but poorly maintained.

Unit was old but very spacious. Decor is tired but very adequate. Lack of basic maintenance caused issues. Main security door was off tracks and bent so could not be locked. Main glass sliding door has had covering strips near lock cut away and even when locked with key it was very easy to pull door back and lift locking hook up and open door - from either side. We had to rely on putting a broom behind glass sliding door for security. Advised management but nothing was done. This is a great concern when entry to lifts and units is not secure and basically open to the public. This would not be a major concern if the both doors locked properly. Bedroom is upstairs with no TV which was disappointing. Power point for fridge was hanging out of wall - safety issue. Curtains could not be closed fully to block out morning sun because several hooks were broken. Conditioning shampoo dispenser above the hand basin really amused us. However the units are very central and close to beach, public transport, Pacific Fair shopping, casino and restaurants.

Uncomfortable - incredibly hot - no AC in bedrooms which get direct sun.

No locks on windows...
Considering you probably take a holiday rarely this is not the place to do it. I would have preferred camping.

An experience I do not want to repeat

Parking station well away from lift, very difficult to r carry or move your overnight bags etc. No milk supplied in fridge, Half a roll of toilet paper for two people, are they rationing. Office was closed on Saturday after 1pm. Very noisy area, rubbish removal truck picks up each morning around 7am. Not able to get a good nights rest due to the continued traffic noise. Screen door key did not close door, broken lock. Bed was uncomfortable. Will not book this Broadbeach Travel Inn ever again. If you needed some assistance from office not there only for certain hours, office closed 1pm Saturday, when travels need to check in after 2pm no one there to assist only a phone number to ring.

Everything you need and conveniently located

Perfect place to stay for a night out at nearby Draculas. Close to shopping centre, casino and restaurants too. Plenty of parking at hotel. Had everything needed. Spacious bedroom and kitchen, plus enough room for two to chill out on the balcony. Great price. Only downfall was bed a little uncomfortable.

False Advertising / Poor Customer Service

We only chose this hotel as we wanted the extra room of the king bed described as my wife had had a recent medical procedure. When we arrived with a late checkin we found we only had a queen bed and had a very uncomfortable nights sleep. There was no night reception.
When we complained about this in the morning and asked for some sort of refund we were told by the man at the desk that he was the new owner for only a week and could not offer a refund as previous bookings were covered by the previous owner which made no sense has we had only booked the night before and he made no effort what so ever to even look at the booking.
The room also seemed to have little noise insulation.

The apartment itself is clean, spacious and has all the goodies required for an apartment.

Poor greeting and gaining access very difficult.

No personal greeting and had to rely on a hotel phone which was out of order. Entry gained by phone call with further demand for credit card details before being allowed to gain access to the safe for keys. While credit card details are standard this should have been organized before. No personal attention is not suitable. Would not use the hotel again.

While the upgrades to the property in the last year have been good, some things let it down. For instance the lift is still smelly and needs a clean. The doors on our unit were in a shocking state of repair. The Broadbeach side of the unit was extremely noisy at night from the restaurant next to the property. Inside, some of the power points didn't work. Vehicle access was good - except the garage door had a spasm and came down on our hire car. This was reported but no follow up was received. The check in receptionist had a shocking, loud verbal altercation on the phone in front of customers which was very embarrassing.

Large rooms close to public transport

The 2 bedroom apartment we stayed at had a huge living room and also very large master bedroom. The staff let us check in early which was much appreciated as we had to transfer accommodations. Let down was that fridge did not work, no free to air television (only Foxtel), and the pool was too deep for our 4 year old twins to enjoy. Our apartment looked quite dated, but that could be that we stayed in a cheaper room. This tram stop was a short walk away (even for the kids) and we could visit Southport. We also walked to Pacific fair not too far.

Convenient but not comfy

The apartment was OK but the bed was so hard I could hardly sleep, the glass coffee table caused issues as I kept knocking my knee on the corners, and the room was noisy with the TV on because of the floor tiles (which were not clean), The room had been refurbished at some stage but there were obvious signs of wear and so was looking rather tired, and there was mould on the shower ceiling.The building is noisy but that can't be helped as it is beside a major road and has a rowdy restaurant next door. The office staff were rather off-handed and the office wasn't open the hours advertised in the rooms.

Handy in Broadbeach

1. Hard to find as no signage on highway in which address is advertised.
2. Rooms clean and tidy. Comfy lounges
3. Beds not the best, pillows not great either
4. Lucky we had a camp bed in the car as the trundle beds were not at all comfortable. Hard to believe but a camp bed and the lounge was preferred.
5. Great location, close to Broadbeach amenities, Pacific Fair, Casino, and Exhibition centre.

Check in times and instructions were confusing. Fridge had sticky spill inside which had not been cleaned off and there was long hair on floor in both bathroom and kitchen . Otherwise room was comfy and convenient for me

We expected that, as this building is close to the highway, there would be traffic noise but it was much noisier than expected. The worst noise issue was apparent renovations taking place on the floor above us with workmen starting at 6am both Saturday and Sunday- an extraordinary way to get guests out of bed early!

There was no signage on the highway frontage.

In the middle of renovations

Terrible. Although the rooms had been renovated nicely and provided almost all amenities required, firstly we booked a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment and only got a 2 bedroom 1 bathroom. We arrived after hours so we couldn't tell anyone. Then when we had showers that evening the water coming from the shower head was brown in colour. Not brown coming from any other fawcett. The next morning four people needed to have a shower. The first person, a child had a very quick shower then the remaining 3 people had cold showers. No hot water. This was very unpleasant in WINTER.
Then the reception didn't open until 9am. I would have thought 8.30am would be reasonable. When we mentioned the problems to the young lady at reception she looked at us blankly as if she didn't register that these issues were a problem.

Arrived late, due to late planes and used the after hours phone but there were no lights so couldn't see to put code in to get keys. A man helped with his torch. Was told to use the key to open the carpark, which was also in darkness and when we went to go back out again we were locked in the carpark because we couldn't locate the exit key box (which you would think we would have been told where it was on arrival)
The batteries were flat in the air conditioner, there was a blown light globe in one bedside lamp and no globe in the other and the phone didn't work to ring anyone.
The only staff member that I laid eyes on the whole time we was there was a young girl who grunted at me when I told her about the batteries, globes and phone.
I did receive a phone call on my mobile from the owner who was very apologetic but I wasn't happy about the rude young girls attitude.

Hotel had splatter marks on wall. Requested 2 x singles an was given 1 King which was like sleeping on a rock. Pillows were so floppy that I needed multiple where I usually only need one. Room was stuffy and suffocating. Overall I wouldn't stay there again as I didn't think it was value for the money.

We are return guests, booked some weeks ago. Arrived around 3 pm to find several guests trying to get into a safe to get keys to their room- mass confusion. In an area where most people arrive on the Gold Coast on a Saturday and rooms are not available before 2pm, the reception now closes at 1pm. Utter madness.

I arrived after the managers office after hours so it was closed. I used the phone, as the signage directs, to check in. It was trouble free and took less than 10 to 15 minutes to gain access to the unit. My key and instructions were located in the safe next to the phone.

Note the parking is restricted to vehicles which are 1.8m or less which makes it difficult in a 4WD, especially if you have roof racks. It would be advised to reserve 1 (of 8 parks) which are undercover and can accommodate a larger 4WD if necessary.

Perfect location

This Motel is perfect for us as we fly up catch the bus which is almost door to door then able to walk to everywhere.
Staff are friendly and the apartment is right for us with a living room downstairs and bedroom upstairs.

Walking distance to Draculas and the Casino

The room needed a revamp, the bathroom must of been newly renovated...but there were scratches on the bottom of the bath/spa which I initially though was black hair. We had no hot water in the morning for some reason and when I told the lady at reception she didn't seemed concerned,so we had a freezing quick shower. The room was boiling hot when we checked in, and the step into the unit was very dangerous,I suppose that was to keep water out when it rained as there was no roof over the patio areas,which made it very hot to sit outside. The room really does need a paint and the king size bed was like sleeping on concrete and it was 2 king single beds pushed together and we felt the join all night. The rooms look alot nicer online,which made it very disappointing when we seen it on the day. The only thing positive was that it is within walking distance to Draculas,Casino and the shopping centre,but in saying that there are nicer apartments along the same strip to choose from.
