Almost petfect

Every thing great except for airconditioning. Didn’t work first night because of storms. By they one I worked that out there was no one to ask. But it wasn’t a major issue. More the issue was that when it got to work there was a limit on the minimum temperature being 22C. Just too high for me. I was hold that if one asks ahead of time they may be able to remove the limit. Probably works for some.

Paid the highest amount for room available which was a high floor and a superior room. We only got the 13th floor and the room was quite tired. The carpets were stretched. Lots of marks on the wall and the kitchen utensils was all pretty average so a little disappointing for this nice property.

The property is very well maintained with designated parking for our unit. The unit was very large compared with other apartments we have previously stayed at in Broadbeach. The apartment we stayed in had extensive range of crockery and cutlery. The decor was a bit strange but didn’t interfere with our stay.

This is a great location, close enough to Mall, but far enough away. The property is well maintained although there are some areas starting to show aging. The facilities - gym, indoor pool, etc were very well maintained. Our apartment was amazing - a 3BR Luxury - with amazing views over the water, and plenty of space for everyone to find their nook. Would recommend for a family as a great option

A disappointing apartment for the price.

The reception staff are very proficient, and friendly. The common amenities are great. The rented apartments are very tired and need some serious maintenance. Broken and loose toggle switches on PowerPoints and light switches. Walls in need of painting. Doors leading out onto balcony from both main bedroom and lounge area not locking properly and then when you get them locked having to use a screwdriver to open. My husband send via email to management a thorough list of needed repairs. An expensive property to stay so would consider not value for money so will probably be looking at another property when we next visit Broadbeach which will be around the same dates next year. So disappointing!

We had a two bedroom, two bathroom apartment that was very generous in space. The water view from the 7th floor was just so nice with the balcony access from each bedroom and the living area. Excellent and well equiped Kitchen. At times we opened the sliding doors for the sea breeze and used the aircon when we wanted to close the doors and loose the city noises. The grounds and facilities are superb and inviting. Beach right out front across the road and parkland. Easy basement parking and access to apartments. A very enjoyable 4 night stay. Thank you 'Carmel by the Sea' team. Recommended.

What a fantastic place to say! We stayed for 6 nights to attend the Cheerleading Nationals and the location and facilities were perfect for what we needed. The apartments were a fantastic size and well furnished.
The outside grounds were so beautiful and we made great use of the pool, gardens and bbq area. It was disappointing that the indoor pool and spa weren't in use but we completely understand that renovations take time.
We honestly can't rave enough about our stay and we had 3 other families in our group that also loved the stay.
We can't wait for 2024 when we can do it all over again!

All rooms were spacious and layout was excellent. Very clean and tidy.
Car park was great with access to luggage trolleys very helpful.
The reason for not giving 5 stars was because the Television would not turn on-and the after hours number was not able to help. Eventually problem was solved by unplugging and plugging it back in!
I would definitely stay here again - location is perfect and within easy access to public transport, beach, eateries and shopping.

However it could do with a bit of an overhaul as some of the walls were scratched and patched up poorly. Bathroom could do with a good scrub as the tiles were very messy. Drainpipe in the second bathroom was quite disgusting.

Carmel by the sea is in a great location in Broadbeach. I was in a room on the 5th floor with a southerly ocean aspect. I unfortunately had road noise in my room and not a great water view. I am sure it would be a nicer stay on the higher floors.

Hi guys.. loved the location, the size of the apartment was great, the view to die for, and the amenities of the facility excellent.
The overall condition of out apartment looked a little tired,and a general revamp would make it spectacular once again.
We had an issue with the air con, which was fixed the same day as reported, thumbs up for prompt attention .
I would not hesitate to stay they again and would recommend it to all my friends.

Is good for family holidays especially if you have few kids ,an old apartment but well maintance ,very good area at broadbeach close to the beach ,and restaurant,and just walk to pasific fair or even the Star ,big master bedroom ,big kitchen,big launge old carpet ,high celling ,price bit expensive but is good .
