Oceana on Broadbeach is located within easy walking distance to magnificent shopping and exquisite restaurants, as well as Pacific Fair, one of Australia's largest shopping centres. It is an easy stroll to Jupiter's Casino with its gambling tables, nightclubs and widely renowned floor shows.
It is only a few minutes to one of the many famous championship golf courses in the area and is adjacent to Broadwater Beach Bowls Club.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Oceana. The common areas were clean and well maintained. The apartment itself was a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment and it was huge and it had been recently renovated and was in excellent condition.
We really enjoyed the area and we were able to walk to both Broadbeach and Surfers.

The hotel was excellent, it was very clean and spacious. However there was one problem, we paid extra and booked a full view of the sea but when we came to check in we were given an option between a bottom level room (not a good view of the sea) or a higher level corner room (full view but was far and different from shown on the pictures). Overall, other than the room problem, everything was great.

Beachside position was great, and the room had great ocean views. The room itself was a bit dated and dirty. The Livingroom rug is heavily stained and bed linen is also stained. Supplies for a 5 day stay were light (2 towels, 1 garbage bag etc) TV needed resetting occasionally but if this is all I can complain about overall it was good. The property is clean although a bit dated it is kept in good order. It is in between Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach for eating out options so will require a walk if you are eating out.

Whilst none of these things stopped us enjoying our holiday we were a little disappointed with the condition of the room. The ensuite tap leaked all over the bench (did not appear to be a new issue) the circuit breaker for the bedroom outlets kept tripping which makes charging phones etc a problem plus no lamps. No fitted sheets on any of the beds just tucked flat sheets which come off easily.

Arrived to be told air conditioning not working in apartment. Requested a different apartment and again air conditioning not working. When we said we wanted to cancel our booking another apartment with working air conditioning was found. Bed spread on one bed had fresh looking red blood stains on it…bathroom towels were well and truly passed there use by date. No coffee machine in kitchen and very basic equip in kitchen. Plates/cups etc had to be washed before use as they clearly hadn’t been washed before being put back in cupboard - food remnants still on plates and coffee rings in mugs…furnishings very outdated and worn - metal on coffee table rusting…Will never stay here again.

What a fantastic place to stay. Overlooking the beach. Surfers and Broadbeach city centers roughly 1KM walk away. The pools are awesome and Lola's café across the road is open very early each morning with wonderful Coffee and food. We also enjoyed dinner and drinks at the Bowls club. Great size apartment and also very clean.

The views from our 6th floor apartment (blue tower) were outstanding and size (over 150m2) was more than enough for most people. The grounds around swimming pool were nice, well maintained and secure with direct access to the beach. Underground carpark was safe and secure. As in most places of that size there were some building/maintenance activities creating noise BUT it is something that needed to be done so all good.
The fridge and dishwasher could have some upgrade though as it showed its age.

This was our second stay here and won’t be the last. The facilities are terrific, location is great and ample parking. Feels really safe. The cafe, fish & chip and bottle shops over the road make it a super easy holiday - stay in or walk 20 minutes to an abundance of restaurants. I needed to extend my stay by a night and it was simple and easy - the managers were so helpful.

Overall this is a great property with fantastic views over broadbeach and south depending on what floor you are on. Pools are great, one heated and reception friendly. The only thing we would note is that cleaning could be better. We found multiple items under the couches for example and the extensive windows could have done with some work.

The view from the ocean view apartment was beautiful, however the fact that you only get 2 towels for a five day stay and 2 very small \"bars\" of soap and if you require further towels there is a charge, we will not be staying again. For a \"serviced apartment\" you don't get much service. This is unfortunate as we would often stay here on our trips to Surfers, may a change of ownership has occurred.

The apartment was very spacious and even from the 2nd floor had lovely views from the living areas, bedroom and large balcony. It was nice to have a laundry however the kitchen and bathroom could both do with a bit of updating, the shower in particular was quite small and the tiles would benefit from a good scrub.Was not impressed with only one bath towel each and that you had to PAY for the use of a pool towel, also dishwashing liquid and washing powder were “sample” one use size, for the price paid for a 7 night stay thought this was a bit insulting.The bed however was very comfortable and the pool lovely and refreshing. Good variety of shops and restaurants approximately 10 minutes walk away at Oasis also small cafe and convenience store across the street. Would look at other options for accommodation if I was in the area again.

As out booking was stuffed up we had to move after 2 nights of a 5 night booking. We were put in nice apartments with a beautiful view so that made up for it. But the cleanliness of the rooms wasn't excellent. A supervisor needs to check the apartments before guests check in.

Fantastic Hosts and a superb unit, exceeded our expectations. Far bigger unit than perceived in the photos and such sensational views. With the beach a walk across the road and heated pools for the coldness of winter, the family did not want to leave. Close to everything and with an Italian restaurant across the road with excellent food it doesn't get much better.

On arrival we were asked to pay the balance of our account, we had prepaid the entire holiday some months prior!!! Not a good start, but we can forgive an innocent mistake - however, then we found the bed had no blankets or doona for the King Sized bed, we did find a single blanket in the cupboard, when we asked for two more blankets, we were made to feel uncomfortable about the request.
Then the next issue, we had one towel each for the entire 4 nights and was advised we had to pay for extra towels. For accommodation that has a gym and swimming pools, this is ridiculous and guests should be supplied with a suitable amount of towels. We were forced to constantly use the dryer which seems like false economy to me, if they are trying to save money, then it didn't work!!!!
The cost of these apartments is not cheap and the way you are forced to pay extra for each little everyday standard item is just over the top and not welcoming. the final bad taste left in our mouth was a note shoved under the door which threatened that if we didn't leave the unit in a clean state then they would take an amount from our credit card, there is a way to communicate with your guests, and this certainly is not the way to do it. We will definitely stay elsewhere next time and don't recommend this place - nice views but very unwelcoming management team.
