The place is very run down, dirty, dark. Doors to balcony didn't lock due to building moving. Sheet were clean, but blankets had dried food marks. They need washing. The springs in the bed keep jabbing me in different places every time i rolled over. Drains in the bathroom blocked. The seal around the bath was gone, so water will be leaking under the bath. Dishers dirty enough to stick together, gross. We will never stay there again.

Tv, Stereo, Beds were all out dated no blue tooth. Bed in master bedroom had a crack in it so had to be careful not to break it . Bathrooms need a make over especially for 200 plus dollars a night .
For the money I paid disappointing room .
Good service at service desk nice pool close to beach was a positive.

Great Stay in an Excellent Location

A very nice and spacious two bedroom apartment right in between the metro station (Florida Gardens) and the beach (Wharf Road Beach). Even with the facility being a little dated, everything was in proper working condition. Even with the beach so close, we enjoyed staying by the heated pool and the spa pool in the evenings. All in all, great service and would defiantly recommend staying!

The location of the resort is great close by to places we want to go. However, the conditions of the accommodation is outdated and the carpet is very old. Very poor renovation to the bathroom. The bed was not good. It has no springs and it sinks when you sleep on it. Bad for back. I had a soared back after sleeping in that bed. We arrived on the weekend and had no WiFi connection access given till Monday. After given access, we could not connect WiFi either as it keeps saying account expires or something.

The Location ,ease of access to apartment and parking are excellent ,I have stayed before and had no problems ,hence rebooking. the ensuite bathroom had poor water drainage which had affected the carpet at the doorway in the main bedroom , however this wasn't an issue. The TV and Fox did not work ,On Fri night I noted only one channel on Fox, no worries cant do much now ,I reported to reception on Sat morn and Steve came and had a look , we left for the day and came back in the afternoon and noted the television had been replaced but still did not work, My asian female partner approached the managers office to let them know and was inexplicably told to let the tv warm up by the lady in attendance, on her return she conveyed me this and we had a laugh because it was such an absurd statement, I said we haven't had to let the telly warm up since the old jobs in the 60s,anyway we weren't going to get anywhere so no telly. On my departure on Sun morning I placed the TV on the ensuite toilet which was symbolic of the service . I had not used this bathroom since the fri night due to drainage so it was dry . I asked for a refund via email due to not getting what I paid ,I thought all being reasonable a discount may have been offered , but no very disappointed with further dialogue from management ,and extremely disappointed that me partner was given that advise considering she has the same Foxtel and is familiar with its use

We stayed in the 3 bed apartment which was completely different to what was pictured on the internet. Rooms were only just clean enough. The bathrooms were very outdated and felt unclean. There was a thick layer of mildew around one of the bathroom taps. The room we had seriously needs refreshing and refurbishing. I’m glad I got the room on special and didn’t pay full price or I’d be sorely disappointed. The ‘games room’ was in the car park basement which is very unsafe for children. The front reception area stunk of cigarette smoke the morning of check out. I don’t think we will stay here again or recommend to friends or family.

Good size unit close to beach and transport

We were very disappointed in the unit it was very rundown there we no mention of the 3 story's of stairs and no veiw just trees with screaming birds in them. The most disappointing thing was the fines they want to give you if you don't vacuum and mop and clean your unit before you leave even if you don't empty the dishwasher. I'd never stay there again

HUGE FAMILY ROOM, AWESOME POOL!

Huge 3 bedroom family apartment. Excellent location, we walked with our 4 kids down to the heart of surfers and caught the tram back.
We had a ground level room, so our kids were able to enjoy the resort without having to go down stairs. We only stayed 2 nights but would definitely stay here again next time for a longer stay.
Safe and secure carpark.
Our apartment was a.little outdated, but didnt bother us and we were coming and going!

Was allocated a top floor room on the 3rd floor, there are no lifts, so if you are fit no problem, if you have any issues with legs or hips you must stipulate with the hotel direct (not with Hotel.com) or it will cost you an unreasonable amount of money 100.00 to change the room they have put you in, if you do not like noise then stipulate not to be next to families as the walls are quite thin. Wifi kept dropping out

Once we got a ground floor room (after some hassels) we had a great time, Location is good and the unit we had came with everything we needed......

It was only about 5 minutes walk to town which was awesome for us. The shower pressure was excellent. It had a full kitchen that we didn't need to use due to town being so close but it would be ideal for people with kids or on a limited budget. The grounds were tidy and the pool was cool for the hot days we were there.

We had an amazing time at this resort. The rooms were spacious and updated. The convenience of have it fully self contained was a bonus with young children so we didn't have to eat out every day. Very Disappointed for what we paid.

We thought we should of been informed prior to arrival or at arrival that work was being carried out on the balcony as the balcony was ankle deep in water and could not be used. Other outdoor area had a table with 2 chairs on it and the unit was to cater for 6 Adults. No change of linen or towels during 11 night stay. Air conditioner was extremely dirty and in need of attention. Spa could have been warmer.The apartment was tired and needed a refurbishment badly. Unfortunately unit 14 did not live up to any expectation for 31/2 stars.

Had an enjoyable stay. Bed comfortable. Facilities great and what wasn't was very minor and did not dampen our stay. Kitchen could have been stocked better with everyday items, i.e. sharp knife. Extra chairs on balcony would have been great seeing we had a 2 bedroom apartment but only 2 chairs on balcony. Only disappointing thing was finding out that there was no lift in the complex and had to walk up to the third level carrying our luggage - no mean feat when you have two artificial hips. Should have been warned about this. Manager and wife were lovely. Location to tram stop and beach were fantastic and would not hesitate to stay here again.

Ok. Probably in part depends on which unit you get as they are all furnished by individual owners who have different amounts they are willing to spend on their investment. We had a 15 year old aircon we were told had just went out when we got there which I find hard to believe. The bathrooms were filthy. The kitchen items provided (pots, pans etc) were the bare minimum required. You could tell the unit owner was spending the bare minimum on the place. But for $950 for three days we expected more. Also you were expected to mop, vacuum and do general cleaning on leaving which was absolutely NOT apparent at booking time. For the price we paid I would expect that to be included. It's close to the beach but we will be looking around for somewhere else in the area for our next stay. Just not worth the money.

The resort was perfectly situated. Close to Surfers Paradise.

There was a mix up with our room & we were allocated on the 2nd floor when my mum had a walker & couldn’t climb stairs. They then moved us but the room was not nice or clean at all. The manager was friendly and considerate, due to they way he dealt with us I would come back and bring all my family every year. The 2 bed room unit was great, had everything we needed including washing machine, dryer, iron, and vacuum. My husband and I went for early walks in the morning the beach is very close to this apartment, the kids loved the games room, and pool. We will be back!

Nice tidy 2 bedroom apartment with ensuite. Sadly no lift but we were on ground floor so no problem. Large entrance carpark with wide spaces and parked right by our stairwell every time. After phoning Wotif to confirm an early checking time and told 24hour checkin was available, we arrived just after 11am after an all night flight, with a 5yr old, to be told by the surly woman behind the counter that checkin was not available until 2pm!! Thankfully the manager arrived on the scene and promptly arranged a room for us to crash.
Still leaves a sour note to our brief stay.
The unit was clean & comfortable.

We checked in late as we left Murwillumbah, due to the flooding of our property, so we got in around 10.pm. there was no reception which was fine. the room was tired and very plain for the absorbent rate charged for the night, we had our three children with us and it was the only place we could find at short notice. After a poor nights sleep in the most uncomfortable beds we got up and had breakfast, only to read that all rubbish was to be removed the room to be swept, the dishes to be done or an extra $50 would be charged to the room. We then went down to the car park where we had parked our Classic Ford Motor Car( which we saved from the flooding) to find a note to ensure the vehicle didn't take up 2 parks and to ensure it was not there after 10am or the vehicle would be towed at our expense.
Seriously worst hotel stay i have ever experienced!!
