Place wasn’t clean. There were stains on the kitchen walls that looked like meat splatter, chips everywhere, and what looked like blood on the bathroom roof. The front door had deep knife cuts in it along with the door lock looked like had been tampere. My son even said the bathroom looked like a scene from a scary movie.

Still haven’t got my bond back 5 days later, even though I left it clean and tidy with bedding stripped and dishes washed. No proper update or explanation, just excuses.

Also tried to hire table tennis racket, called and was told the office was out but they’d let me know when they got back. Never heard anything again which upset my kids hopes.

All round, not great. Wouldn’t book again.

This was a very pleasant surprise a last minute booking of availability and convenience

I can describe this as a beautiful welcoming old friend from the outside a little dated but well maintained with a nice pool and BBQ area

Inside we were greeted with a comfy and equipped kitchen and dining lounge area with a pull-out sofa

A bedroom with ample storage and a comfy king bed

And a nice bathroom with in-unit laundry.

The front desk staff were lovely and accommodating

Santana Resorts - a good place to stay

It was close to pacific fair shopping centre
Two stops away from Florida gardens tram stop and 3 stops away from Cavill avenue stop for surfers paradise beach

The only thing I would point of out is that we paid an xtra $125 for an extra person for 5 nights -even though it said on the Adevrtisememt that it caters for 3 people
When I have already paid for the queen bed and a sofa bed included in the living room
This is the only I could point out. As I have already paid over $1300 for the five nights
It was still reasonably priced

With laundry, kitchen and dining in one bedroom apartment
There’s a pool and a good security garage for a car
And the unit is reasonably 5 to 7 minutes away from the beach

Good location between Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach. One tram stop to Broadbeach and two stops to Surfers Paradise. Cross the Gold Coast Highway to walk to the beach. Quiet complex, clean pool, secure parking, clean apartment with all equipment for an enjoyable stay

The property was in a convenient and quiet location. I was surprised that the room did not have air conditioning. I realized after checking in that I had booked this room and had assumed that all rooms had air conditioning. The room is looking old and in need of some repairs, but for the price was overall very happy.

The room stunk of filth, the cleaners did not do their job properly, spider webs in multiple areas and it had a terrible smell that just lingered all the time, even after we applied some plug in freshners, the smell was still around. No air con only fans that did nothing, not the appropriate stay at a place like the GC where temperatures go in the low 30s. Owner should spend some money to update soon. Definitely would NOT recommend this place for a stay, not even for one night.

We loved our stay here. The lady was absolutely lovely who owned the place.
My only advice would be to make it more known that a deposit is needed and you will need to buy your own toilet paper as one is only available. Also a guide on how to use the rouch stove. Other than a bit of dirt in a drawer, was amazing. The view was beautiful, it was so close to everything we needed. Loved it here.

The property was advertised with air conditioning and heating. There was no air conditioning and heating luckily we did not require these amenities as the weather was pleasant, otherwise, our stay would be miserable. I voiced my disappointment to the owner, who told me she could not do anything about it as she was fully booked.
Furthermore, the unit was not cleaned properly and there was dirt at the back of the sofabed. The extra sheets provided were also dirty.
I also blame wotif for this discrepancy as they do not do due diligence in checking whether these amenities are really provided. Henceforth will not be booking on wotif again.

I feel the real holiday feeling because of the plant's beautiful. Visitor's parking available, which is convenient for a family to see us. Inside requires renovation and linens old. For additional towels, have to pay $5.00 each and for the games too I'm not impress to all of this should be included or free. Cockroaches welcome us.

Place was not cleaned at all before arriving. We were placed in a room which we were told we would need to pack up our things then move to another room after one night. Room didn’t have air conditioning, the area outside was covered in dirt and mud, we only supplied with half a roll of toilet paper for the 4 nights we were there and was told we would need to purchase more on top of the cost for the room once running out. Can’t use the room towel for the pool and were told to go to reception for beach towels which we were also expected to pay additional fees for. Reception is also not attended at all and had to call and wait for a staff member to come down every time we needed anything. Was only also provided for one key for our room although the room is advertised to sleep 4 and there was two of us staying there. Overall really terrible customer service and cleanliness. Would not recommend and will not be returning.

Lovely pool and spa area. Bathroom had a bath which was good for the kids. Walking distance to petrol station with coles express and could also walk to trams. Room was modern and decorated nicely but so hot as it had no aircon, only very slow ceiling fans. Owners kindly brought up a pedestal fan for us but still too hot. Windows opened fully in bathroom and bedroom but as there was no screen and we were 3 floors up we were unable to open them as we had young kids

The property was extremely old and disgusting, the furniture including bedding mattresses were old dirty and had a bad deodorant as if it hasn’t been clean for long time apart from the clean bed sheets and clean towels . The kitchen was discussing and greasy , the bathroom was full of hair and mold , for the money we paid $1068 it was absolute ripoff then we were told to clean after us before we leave other ways will lose $200 safety deposit, I think the unite become a lot cleaner as we left than when we first got their as we had to clean it as we moved in , the pool was Filthy full of mold around the edges
The property is aging with urgent need of renovations and it’s deceiving as it’s not what it shows on line

Sofa bed spring massage anyone?

The pool area is nice and tidy but unfortunately thats where the love ended for us. Our room was very dirty, the sofa bed is not designed to actually sleep on unless you prefer a spring massage while you sleep.
The added extras are ridiculous, we appreciate the resort is self service but we would have thought we would get the bare minimun per person staying for the amount of nights.
If you're not fussed by cleaniness & terrible beds you'll be fine staying here. We suggest you bring everything you need for your stay including toilet paper, soap, tea and coffee or you'll be paying a $1 per t-bag or toilet roll if you run out!

Did not feel safe on bottom level as permanent residents behind in another complex could see straight through the apartment. Pool area was clean however.

Would recommend pool facing room over other options which look/back directly onto other units - we didn't use the balcony due to this as it didn't feel private or have a good outlook. Location was very central and close to public transport, was within walking distance to Cavill and Pacific Fair (about 30 mins to each). Pool area was lovely and reasonably quiet. Out of our two week stay we used the pool nearly every day and only had other guests at the pool with us on two occasions.

We had a nice clean room, staff were friendly and it was a 4 minute walk to the tram station. We were on the ground floor which was good in the way that we did not have to drag our cases upstairs, but people walked past the unit to the exit all the time, we had to keep the blinds closed for privacy. Unfortunately, we chose schoolies week and were woken every morning around 4am by drunk teenagers coming back from parties, so beware when choosing dates to stay. This is no reflection on the motel, they cannot know who is booking the rooms. The second week it was so quiet and peaceful. There is paid wi-fi available and a storage unit for luggage, also good swimming/BBQ area. I would recommend this accommodation, maybe just not the ground floor.

Fantastic! AMAZING Experience!

Santana Resort is so much better than the photos give it justice for. The pool and the spa light up in different colors at night and the venue is very quiet and relaxed. The staff are very friendly and helpful - give great advice about public transport and fun things to do whilst on the Gold Coast. The only issue was that we accidentally booked a room without air conditioning - there were fans and fortunately it was not hot whilst we were up there - but if wanting an air con room - be sure to let staff know this on booking.

Proprieters seemed more interested in outward appearances than than customer comfort.
Although carpark was easily accessable by vehicle, pedestrian access from carpark to lobby/room was by narrow steep staircase, not user friendly with luggage.
Carpets were dirty to main living area & bedroom.
Booked for over a week and recieved one pice of soap 30mm X 30mm X 6mm for 4 people. No replacement.
Fold out day-n-night lounge uncomortable even for light weight kids.
Questioned propritores re replenishing basic items over the length of stay. Reply was you must buy.
No face washer included in linen issue.
Not much in the way of kitchen utensils. Had to go and buy adequate egg slice & non stick fry pan.

Room was average.Didn't see the staff at all.Had problems getting the stove top to work and only dealing with staff was over the phone. One towel each ,no flannels.If you wanted more towels, you had to hire them.Air conditioner was an optional extra and if you wanted to use it , it would cost you $10 a day
If you just wanted a place to sleep, this place was ok.But as far as a comfortable place to relax ,no.

Close to beach and transport to facilities, with a nice pool and spa. However, the room was not worth the price paid. Cleanliness was not great, spare blankets were very dusty and made for lots of sneezing, hair in the bath tub and a dirty washing machine. Room facilities advertised such as DVD player was not available in room unless asked for, also asked for a portacot and this was not provided until later and it was also in need of a clean. Also we stayed for 1 week there was only one roll of toilet paper provided and had to pay for another roll. All in all cleanliness was not great and facilities quite dated and overpriced.

Apartment 28 is in need of some maintenance.

Washing machine leaks when in use, outside chairs are broken, bathroom sink taps are hard to turn on, vanity needs a face lift, fan in living room is noisy and sometimes T.V volume goes a bit static. Blinds could also do with a good clean.

firstly, we booked 4 rooms and only one was actually booked, had to wait 30 mins for manager to turn up to fix this, fridge wasn't working and was dirty, carpets were falling apart, walls were dirty, stove top was old and rusty, kitchen tap was ready to fall out of the sink, bed wasn't queen size it was 2 small singles pushed together, 1 little cake of soap in bathroom to go around 4 people, air con was in main bedroom so had to leave door open to cool whole unit, outdoor furniture was old and sun damaged and there was only 1 chair not 4, bath had dirty rings around it and wasn't cleaned, cockroaches in linen cupboard in bathroom, fly screens and screen door had holes in them, only had 1 key and security token between 4 of us, I could list more but don't have enough room. we've stayed in better places for same amount of money and had better service to boot! Totally disgusted with this accommodation, a backpackers retreat would have been better. Never staying at this place again!!!!!! The Waves Resort down the road was much nicer

When we arrived to the hotel, we arrived at 6:00 on a friday. None was there as they finish at 5:00, we called after hours and they told us the pin to enter the safe. I was thinking couldn't anyone pretend to be someone and just get in? Then the cupboards and curtains had mould throughout them, the people next door would not stop fighting until 3 am so we got no sleep. i called up after hours again to complain about the people next door but none answered. When we were leaving our check out was at 10, we packed our stuff only to find none was there. We could have stayed in the hotel for another day without even being noticed! The place was ok but the people living/staying there ruined it and were horrible.

The apartment was simple enough but badly in need of updating, broken shower screen meant the whole bathroom flooded when you showered. Unfortunately we were only given 2 towels for a 2 night stay in apartment that sleeps 4, and not additional items were added. We only had 1 roll of toilet paper supplied and it was half empty when we got there.

Because there was not management on staff you could not get any replenishment's.

I would pay the extra $20 a night to stay somewhere decent.

Good for a base if like us you want something within walking distance of Broadbeach.
And in a quiet area. It was about 1.6km to Victoria Park. Bed very comfortable and clean.
Staff friendly and informative. View from our room was not good, if that's important to you
ask for a room overlooking the Pool.

The only nice thing I can say is that it was in a good location. While the bed was made, very little else seemed to have been seen to between guests. We had to go to a petrol station late at night to just buy toilet paper for the room. Woke up at around 1:30am to cockroaches crawling on the wall towards us. There was no one there to check us in or check us out.

Self contained apartments

Self contained apartments fully furnished but with old bathroom and kitchen. Uncomfortable bed with two single matresses to make the queen bed. Hair dryer to be hired. Very nice and enjoable communal area with pool, spa and BBQ. During Easter time you can use the 24h service by phone.You can see the staff for few hours.
Not a hôtel!

Guests are expected to fully self-cater. Linen change only happens after 8 days. Everything supplied is for 1 day and the nearest supermarket is 1km away.
Staff do NOt appear to work weekends.

This hotel was basic, with comfortable one bedroom, kitchen, living and dining room. The balcony was spacious with nearby greenery to give a natural feel to it even though it looked onto the backs of the neighbours buildings. The noise from the nearby streets, noisy neighbours and local bird life was perpetual.

Big spacious rooms in apartment with air conditioning which we did have to pay a little extra for on arrival but was worth it! Staff we're friendly and helpful with advice on local area and transport. Good location as only 5 minute walk from the beach and close to shops and surfers paradise which you could either walk to or short tram ride to as tram stop very close to apartments. Pool and pool area was also clean. BBQ facilities also provided by pool area. Overall a enjoyable stay and would definitely stay here again if returned to Gold Coast!

Great facility close to Surfers

These apartments are great. Sadly the apartment we were in was due for renovation so not as nice as it looked on the website and facilities in the room were in need of updating. Friends stayed at the same time in a gorgeous apartment, same size room same price. Based on their room I would absolutely recommend.

Not at a great Location.

Location of the Resort is not great, though it mentions surfers paradise but ts exactly not on surfers paradise, Also the rooms are very small and the carpets are smelly and there is no elevator, The lady at the reception was very helpful but there is no wifi and you have to pay extra for wifi. There are better options available close by on surfers paradise, Not value for money, I would not recommend.

Not again

Booked for 2 nights under guidance of Expedia after wanting a hotel close to the beach - wasted my second night as couldn't stay another night - terrible beds, carpet was sticky, fans were loud, felt dirty. booked else where for the other night was exactly what l wanted in the first place - kids were much happier too.
