I got locked inside my room, the lock jammed shut and we had to get somebody from the front desk to fix the door, and the guy working blamed me for not pulling hard enough. there’s a cockroach infestation, which is pretty gross. oh also, the light in our bathroom didn’t work. it flashed like a strobe light. so you have to pee with the door open. the floors were dirty, you need slippers/socks or your feet will turn black. oh and the sheets and shower both had ominous black dirt in them. it gets two stars because it’s close to the military base and the stray cats are cute.

The place was absolutely filthy. It was moldy it smelled so bad. The area was unsafe. We had to switch hotels, and they charged me for a night that I didn’t even stay there. There was no way I was putting my five-year-old in the dirty bathtub.

When we arrived they were still getting the room ready even though it was check in time. They forgot toilet paper and trash cans. We found a beer can in a drawer. And we saw a few roaches. I am not sure if that is a location thing or the hotel. It is also located in a bad area. There are al lot of transients on the area. Did not feel safe. The office lady was nice but over all I definitely would not recommend this hotel.

My Granddaughter and I spent 08/14 - 08/18/2023. The Owners/Managers were so kind and helpful. I use a cane and couldn't make it up and down the stairs over and over so they put us in a great room right by the office. The room was comfortable and clean, bed was great. As others had posted about dirt, mold, smells, insects... We experienced NONE of these problems. The pool area was clean and the water was amazing and relaxing from the days of over 100 degrees. I left a couple of items in the room by mistake and the lady called me while I was going through TSA to let me know. I'll send her money to mail the items. I look forward to visiting this location again since my other granddaughter is stationed at Fort Sam for the next year.

Glowing review, yes I’m a real person too.

The staff here is truly wonderful and very helpful. I had set the wrong dates for my stay for July and they pointed it out, instead of telling me to leave, they gave me a room and said to contact hotels.com to fix it and once it was done I would be fine. I very much so enjoyed my stay. The room was big and clean and although next to the high way, relatively quiet.

Horrible, Dirty, Do NOT Recommend.

When checking in the front desk clerk made me aware of the crappy beds, knowing the first floor had beds that would be uncomfortable she gave me the option to go look at the room but I passed and asked which she would prefer and she stated 2nd floor would be better bed wise. This hotels is advertised as having a kitchenette WRONG, drawers are screwed closed you can not get in the cabinets. It was absolutely the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I would NOT recommend those hotel unless you don't mind staying in filth!! Oh and be careful with the dirty sheets. There was stains all over them.

Do not stay here! The pictures are wildly inaccurate. The rooms are full of roaches and have a foul mold smell to them. They have also been poorly repaired. There are screws sticking out from doors, loose drain pipes, and cracked countertops. The beds are paper thin and you will feel the springs when trying to sleep. The stairwells smell like urine and weed and the ones on the backside have loose steps. The pool is full of algae and had the same trash floating in it during my 3 night stay . This is an extended stay property and it shows. People are hanging out being loud and obnoxious, cursing all hours of the night and day. Non-smoking rooms still smell like smoke. Tenants will smoke in the breezeways and that same smoke will seep into your room because of how poorly the doors are sealed. My lock panel fell off the door on the first night. Save your money and stay somewhere else. The staff was top tier friendly though.

She actually called us before check in to let us know the pool was down and would be during our stay and wanted to make sure we knew since we had kids traveling with us. We had no intentions of using the pool, but it was really nice of her to call and give us the heads up. Overall, the place is dated, but our room was clean and all of our needs met.

Well i didnt pay that little, but it was my fault for making a last minute reservation and prices were double of the normal price. Pictures seemed nice and fooled me so I booked here. Im not gona lie the customer service (people that work there) are super nice and friendly. But property is very worn down. The restroom and shower were very stained and paint was old and coming off, old used towels were left wet in the shower, water would accumulate in the sink, restroom floor was dirty and sticky and the door had mold. The sheets in the room were torn and of course bed and pillows very uncomfortable. The pool was open but couldn't use it vecause the water was very dirty and cloudy. Definitely do not recommend.

This was a very disgusting hotel if I never saw one. The pool was green and usable. The ac was on 61 degrees and it was still hot in the room. The iron looked as if someone was using it to cook. The bed looked like they were full size beds and they were supposed to be king size. If I could have cancelled the reservation and not been charged I would have. Very unacceptable.

Very bad service, I booked the hotel early on Saturday for 2 rooms with non-smoking and when I get there around 8pm to check in they gave me 2 different types of rooms with smoking and then I leave hotel and when I come back at 1:30am and open the door in one of the rooms there where 2 workers a guy and a girl inside, and they say they where cleaning the room when the room was ready since 8pm I don’t know what they where doing inside the room at 1:30am so we had to sleep in our vehicles due to the fact of their bad service and workers in the room with the door closed and now they won’t even get me a refund of the room very disappointed on how they are running the place and what kind of service they are providing for the customers, and workers going in and out of the rooms at any time claiming their cleaning it

The bed sheets were dirty and had grass or something in between the sheets and some type of sticky substance like if someone spilled something on the dresser. There was hair left on the dresser as well and gum stuck on the a/c. Only one a/c worked. And the bathroom was disgusting! There was also the smell of rat urine by the bathroom and in the little kitchenette. Don't waste your money here!!!!

Baby cup lids and firm left in kitchen drawers restroom was dirty all the towels were dingy the room phone did not work and the dresser between the beds LITERALLY FELL OFF THE WALL HARD. It was obviously put up unsuccessfully several times as u Can see in the pics. I couldn't call the front desk and the location of the hotel got very sketchy at night. I wasn't walking 3 floors to the front office that was closed at 8pm. We did not stay the entire 2 nights we left the next morning.

Worst place ever! This is actually used as an apartment for pre-homeless people. They have parties outside and don’t let guests sleep. It was grose and dirty in the room. House keeping kept knocking all morning, 2 hours before check out time, until I had to open, just to ask if we were staying. I kept telling them we were asleep and they would not listen. Please remove this hotel from expedia as it is used as apartment for some.

Best value in the area with a good staff.

The General Manager Ash is as good as a manager gets. He pays very close attention to what’s happening on his property. He’s very good with his guests and does everything he can to help.

I would also like to commend Ramon and Luis on helping me the first night we got into town. It was a mess already and they made the best of a check-in late night.

Lastly down the to the housekeepers and the maintenance guy (I believe his name is Darrel) the staff chosen for this location is great. Very respectful and helpful.

The Hotel is false advertising, the rooms and property do not look like the photos online. The rooms are very filthy and smelly and nothing in this room was clean at all. The kitchen was nasty not clean someone left old soda poured in sink walls and cabinets were dirty room look like it needed to be gutted it was so old baseboards all had water damage then there were the roaches, gnats and smelled like a smoking room. I went to the front office and let them know this and the guy acted like he didn't care very gross i would give this place a 0.

Checked in alil early, walked up to the room and service was still being done. The ceiling sounded like it was about to cave in. The remote to the tv didn’t work to flip thru channles(we called to have it fixed. Still didn’t work) we had to remove a drawer to reach the cable box to switch it from there. What looked like prostitutes and drug dealers, were everywhere. Not clean AT ALL for this being a Studio 6. The lobby looked really nice, but that’s all that looked nice. Every single hallway and staircase smelled like someone used them as toilets. Will not be returning. It was THAT bad. The Family owned motel Down the way is much cleaner and better for less. Should have went there, but figured the 6 would have been better. We were wrong.

Arrrived after closing time. It took foreever for the lady to get to the front desk. She had no clue where are room was on the map. We get to our room and there were literally roaches of all sizes crawling around. She then takes forever to get us a different and though it didnt have roaches it was still filthy with a leaky tub faucet. Neither room was like the pictures in the ads on the internet. Utmost disappointment when traveling and just want to relax!

The property was dilapidated and shouldn't be allowed to stay in business. The room was disgusting. There was mold and crude in the bathroom. Under the kitchen sink, there was a hole where the pipes had dripped causing the bottom of the cabinet to mold and collapse. The air conditioner blew warm air and dog hair. The door was badly damaged and had huge gaps in the door frame. If it had not been for the shortage of available rooms in town I would have left immediately. I wish I could upload the pictures I took.

This is a huge two room unit! Full kitchen (with oven) that was filthy! Inside the cupboards there was food particles built up! Didn’t unpack anything in the kitchen cupboards! I cleaned the heck out of the surface and the dishes they supplied! The dishes were nice and pots and pans were brand new came with silverware, can opener, plates, bowls, cups and utensils! Which was very helpful to have!
The whole place is old and dated and dirty!! But the space in the room was so nice to have a bit of privacy!
As you walked into the room there is a double bed (they advertise queen) and a tv and a side extension of a square room with a table and 2 chairs.
Full galley kitchen with stove and full size frig! Separate room with a door that shut and with double ( not queen as advertised) tv and dresser in it with plenty enough room to put a queen or king size air mattress with room to spare! The only bathroom is in the closed bedroom with an open closet in with the sink and mirror. Tub and toilet private by a door! The whole place I cleaned walls and outlets and doors everything I could reach but it was still dingy! There was two air/heat conditioners one in each room. Was easy to check in and out cuz we paid online! Staff was nice looked like someone was living in the stair well. Three story building with no elevator! Wrap around balconies! Hope this helps.

Great place to stay in San Antonio!!

My husband and I stayed here for our 10 day vacation. We were very impressed with the level of service we recieved during our stay!! From checking in at midnight due to a late flight to checkout we were made comfortable. Asked everyday by housekeeping if we needed anything and we were helped twice by hotel staff during evening time and always with a smile, building could use an update but was clean and comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. Will be staying again the next time we go home for a visit!!

Terrible smell from people smoking too much inside. The AC unit broke down. There seem to be mold on the walls. Terrible area. Will never book this hotel again.

The room was very dirty. It smelled like old man sweat. The top of the toilet seat was dirty. there was hair inside of the shower. It looked like it was not cleaned in weeks. It was awful. I will never stay at this motel again.

We paid for a 3-night stay there at studio 6 lackland and I'm the first light the stove and oven went out. We called and reported it to the overnight service and they said they would take care of it. Well 2 days later is when they finally fixed it. Which is a big inconvenience for me my family because we could not cook for 2 days.

Be Prepared to Lose Things

I had some man items stolen from my room. Projector, Computer speakers, headphones, Android TV stick, flash drive, and USB hub. When asking manager to investigate, they stated that they didnt have access to camera and corporate contradicted this.

The rooms need maintained better. The bathroom door is so warped that it didnt want to close and paint is coming off. The door hinges are rusty. The seal to the refrigerator is coming off the door & the light is out in the fridge. The stove shows its on but it's not. And it was obvious someone lived there with a pet. All you could smell was animal and a touch of urine.

The desk clerk was nice thats about all i can say posiyive about this place. Rooms where nasty. Walkways were full of trash. People yelling all night. Was even worried about my vehicle. Just plain horrible.
