The hotel itself was in a good area and the staff on hand are always friendly. You’re taken care of quite nicely with the breakfast and other accommodations offered by the hotel. My experience with the hotel itself was ruined by my first hotel room. There was live roaches inside of my room not once but twice in a span of 24 hours. After I informed the front desk the action was quick and they moved me to a new room. The new room had no more and was cleaned throughly. However after that it ruined the overall good experience that I had been having. Overall it is indeed a good hotel with malls and restaurants in walking distance. Wish that it was a little more clean though

My second time staying in their 2 bdrm suite and it was excellent. We had a great view of makati on the 30th floor. Breakfast buffet is super with traditional Filipino breakfast and the coffee bar is good too. The suites are always hard to book but this time I got lucky.

We had an amazing 3-day stay at Somerset Makati during a quick trip to Manila! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond—everyone from the front desk team to the bellhop and especially the restaurant staff for the daily breakfast buffet were incredibly kind, warm, and attentive to all of our needs.

The breakfast buffet was a highlight with just the right amount of variety, and the team was always ready with helpful suggestions and quick responses to any questions. When a minor issue came up in our room, they addressed it immediately and efficiently—such a testament to their excellent service.

The location is unbeatable—just a short walk to Greenbelt and Glorietta, making it so easy to explore and enjoy Makati. The area felt very safe and was easy to navigate, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Having a Lawson convenience store right onsite was a huge plus for any last-minute snacks or essentials.

We’re so grateful for the wonderful hospitality and would absolutely recommend Somerset Makati to family and friends. Looking forward to staying here again on our next trip to Manila!

We enjoyed our stay at Somerset Millennium. It was our the first time and we got upgraded to a suite with a king size bed and living room. The beds and pillows nice and comfy--super important. The AC was self-programmable too! The breakfast spread was great--offered a good variety to make up your choice of \"silog\" variations, if thats your thing. The pool was good for a swim after walking around. Location is ideal, Greenbelt is a short walk. Staff is super accommodating and friendly. The neighborhood is quiet and I felt safe.walking around. Plenty of dining options (even more upscale ones, if that's your thing) within short walking distance. I'm glad i chose Somerset Millennium over the other options... price point is a very good value for the property and location.

Over all it was just ok. I was disappointed with the restaurant menu and especially the buffet breakfast. As someone who is not a foodie, and coming from the west, I was disappointed that it was strictly Filipino food. I tried to rate my hotel stays as someone coming from outside the area culture. If a hotel and or a hotel restaurant only cater to the local culture that I don’t recommend it for international travelers. If you love Filipino food then this is a good place for you to stay. Staff was wonderful, friendly and helpful. Though on my check out, the elevator did break and I couldn’t call for the other elevator. That was a bit annoying, but it didn’t take long for somebody to come up to my floor.

This is my second time staying at the Somerset Millenium Makati. The location is excellent - safe, has a parking garage, and close to Greenbelt Shopping Center and others 10 minutes further away. The staff is super friendly and responsive. In general, the rooms are nicely decorated but need an update soon.

Spacious, separate kitchen with complete utensils and comfortable living area with a smart TV . The service staffs were very helpful. Breakfast was amazing, you can order from the menu and buffet food selections are great too.

The staff are very helpful, accommodating and nice. They provided us of all the things that we requested. But some parts of the building needs some tlc. Like parts of the floor in our room was uneven and it moves when we walk. The baseboards in the lobby of our floor was busted and the elevator buttons need some replacement and an upgrade. Also, some of the towels and bathrobes that we had was a bit old. But other than that, we had a comfortable stay😊

The property was well kept and the room that we had was very nice and clean. It was well thought of. I love the kitchen because it has all the equipment that you need to cook and it all looks brand new! I also love the washroom because it smells good and clean. The bathtub and the shower are separate which was nice. The hallway was clean and it smells good! I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay again!😊

The staff were very friendly and helpful. We have the suite with 2 rooms and were roomy. Bathrooms had great shower pressure. The gym had a fan bike, treadmill, dumbbells, and some cable machines. Breakfast selections and taste is mediocre.

I got a 2 bedroom , 1 king and 2 twin bed, added another 1 twin bed. Rooms are great, however the tub is too high felt unsafe. The bidet is super strong to the point Im afraid to use it.lol.. My husband was able to adjust it. Overall it's good.

Not recommended. The entire premise is very old and the deco is shabby. The bathroom is moldy and bed flag/ cushion turns yellowish. There were very few options in the breakfast restaurant and the presentation of the buffet bar was just terrible. Ruined my holiday would not go again.

In the lead up to our stay, I sent a few emails with questions regarding tours and transfers. Every email was responded to quickly, politely, and questions answered. We had a passport issue, and the staff were very helpful. Size of room was decent. You can’t go out on balcony, but some angles had an amazing view of the city. Quality products in the bathroom. The conditioner in particular was amazing. Small thing, but I loved how my hair felt. While a little dated, it was very clean and well maintained. I would stay again.

This hotel was like a three minute walk to the mall where there was about three malls combined together, so that tells you how much food choices you have. we walk at night time and had no problems. We just joined the crowd that was walking already as far as the hotel the staff was very nice and the room was very nice too. We had got a one bedroom apartment hotel. We love the decor and the space. We will definitely be back in the Philippines, and will be staying here again.

The hotel was everything expected and plus. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, the room was clean and maintained daily even at odd hours upon call. The location was between everything required, mall shopping and store. The kitchen provided the minimum required and was used to cook meals a few times on my stay. I oved the King size bed was a standard and not an extra cost. The bathroom was both a full shower and separate full tub. The free daily breakfast was a nice additive. Use of laundry facilities was a great option as well. ALL GREAT POINTS to come back again.
OK here is the bad - Hot Water - some days we had only luke warm water and when we had hot water it took no less than 5 to 10 minutes to let the water run before it happened on my floor. Mind you I stayed on 18th floor so it would take some time I am sure to flow. Also they could possible add 2 6kilo washers and dyers to the laundry room 2 was not enough if the hotel has extended guests. But still not enough for me to decline my return. When I come back I will definitely return to Somerset Millenium and recommend anyone who visits to give them a try.

The staff was fantastic - always courteous and polite to any request especially room cleaning later in the day. The room was GREAT for the price, The kitchen and dining area actually allowed me to cook a few meals as opposed to eating out. The kitchen is stocked with the basics that work just fine and a huge rice cooker. But if you need anything the Mall is only 2 blocks away. The bed was a standard King size and not a double or Queen which is not common in many hotels without having to pay extra - not even the Conrad. For me was an added bonus. The bathroom had a full-size bath and separate shower with huge flowing shower heads. I also liked the laundry options which was used - Time it right and you can get all your loads done - they could invest in maybe 2 more 6 kilo units and one more 3 kilo unit and dryer.
OK one negative I have to share - Hot Water. It took a long time for hot water to flow into the higher floors, a few days we had no hot water and had to call Maintenace to see what the issue was. It was eventually fixed but could be a continued issue.
Would I go back again - yes without a doubt. I felt safe and it was quiet, and many options are within walking distance and the room was basically like a small apartment at a very reasonable cost.

Great hotel, centrally located and wonderful staff. I especially enjoyed meeting Vernie and Buddy, the K9. They greeted us daily and Buddy is a bomb sniffing dog so he kept us safe! He also super adorable and welcoming.

In addition, it was walking distance from the Greenbelt mall and Sunday Market. Additionally, a lot of the tours will pick up from this hotel.

The staff, from front desk, security, cleaning, restaurant were truly warm, responsive, and welcoming. Occasionally, the restaurant manager looked unfriendly and dissatisfied (with his staff? or the diners?). The hotel (elevator, bathrooms, etc) are a bit worn for wear and could do with some fresh paint or equivalent. Sometimes one could clearly smell what could have been a combination of cleaning and insecticide chemicals. But based on price, I would guess all was within the norm, with the staff a real bonus

The hotel was a great place for an overnight layover in Manila. The property is very convenient to shopping, dining, and is in a good area of the city. The breakfast was pretty good and there are several options for eating and coffee.

The only issue with the property is the room smelled and felt damp upon arrival. The AC was restricted to 20* C but we sweated profusely during the night. This is a huge issue for me and I hope they are able to correct this issue.

This is a moderately priced hotel on a quiet street 5 min walk to Greenbelt Mall. The staff are lovely and helpful. The breakfasts are good value, especially if you go for the Asian meals -- avoid the bread and butter. Wifi works well and amenities in the bathroom are good quality. The beds are comfortable and the lighting is good for working. Hard to do better for the price.

I always stay in this hotel whenever I'm in town with my family. It's walking distance to a mall, restaurants, spa, etc. For me it's one of the best and reasonably priced hotels. It's newly renovated with a kitchen, dining and living area. They always upgraded me to a bigger room which is a plus. Breakfast buffet is also included with a choice from ala carte menu if you're not happy with the food choices. Staff are nice and courteous and always attentive to your needs. I will definitely come back!

Overall, I was happy with stay, but there were issues with check-in with a faulty card/card reader for the door on my room (last thing you need when arriving late evening) and then charged for the incorrect number of nights.
Room was spacious and has everything needed. Wi-fi was patchy in some areas of the room. Breakfast was okay, but no cutting board for bread (loafs must be there for show) and the menu/fare is the same every day..

I always enjoy staying in Somerset property with pleasant and attentive staffs. This time, my experience was great with the helping staffs, though would like to make some comments on the condition.

1. First impression, I was quite surprised with how the room was prepared. Pillows literally stink, first thing I had to do was to call housekeeping to change pillows & pillow cases.

2. Bathroom sink and bathtub drainage were full of bugs when they are dry. Although they easily disappear once I drain water for few minutes.

3. On the first morning, I went down to have breakfast. I was really disappointed with how they control their staffs & guests. I had to comment to one of the staffs, to remind people to wear face masks properly, especially when they go to the buffet area. This is something we should not go easy with. I did not go to the restaurant from the next morning.

SMM upgraded our room to a bigger one-bedroom suite. Nice pool and we had the gym to ourselves. Philippine and Japanese options at Abuela’s, where we breakfasted, inclusive with the room. Fully functional kitchen meant we could cook for ourselves or warm up takeaway in the microwave. Water dispenser in the room saved so many plastic bottles. Service seemed effortless but staff worked hard to create that illusion. Easy walk to the Greenbelt, Ayala Museum or Glorietta Mall for all and sundry.

What you see in the photos are absolutely correct. Place was really clean, smells good, very comfortable bed, and near a mall where you can go to a good restaurant. The room lighting was good and bright enough when you need it. Other hotels I will cry it is too dark, most light wont even work. They will even trick you with a good photo but this hotel is excellent with good food too and on top of that, personnel are awesome.

Makati Trip

The hotel was in the middle of Makati and in close proximity where I needed to be at. The room was clean and the service was good. The price was reasonable for the location.

The two bedroom suites are very nice and spacious and overall are in excellent condition. The location is ideal as it's a few min walk to Greenbelt. My only negative feedback is the breakfast. It's not in line with the hotel rating. The breakfast choices and presentation are more in line with a 3* property.

Great place & staff. Horrendous breakfast service

Place was fairly well appointed and the staff were mostly quite friendly and welcoming. Breakfast, however, was just so poorly handled. The venue was too small and couldn't possibly handle the quantity of guests coming down for breakfast, so their solution was to have us all queue up (literally) waiting for a table to come available. I spoke to the lady suggesting she take down names and numbers to seat and just let us lounge around the nearby lobby till she call out our names (setting up a coffee station would have been even more helpful)... nope, she insisted we stay on the queue... Wife and I decided to go to the coffee shop next door instead. No excuse for the poor planning, this happens quite often I was told.

Unfortunately we had such a bad experience at this hotel I have no positive feedback. We arrived at this 4 star hotel not to be greeted, no smile, no help offered just a metal detector smothered over us? (this is hotel standard supposedly) We then go to our room where the bed was rock solid and they also said this is hotel standard? We had stayed in a 2star hostel a week earlier and the bed was more comfy. Also the bathroom had spider webs all over the mirror and the bathtub was filthy. We were eventually moved to a higher floor. The bed was slightly better but we had no choice as we didn't go on holiday to just move rooms and waste our day. The restaurant breakfast was out of food that we wanted and was on the menu and the choice was so limited we hardly ate anything. When I arrived back in the evening i put my wash bag next to the sink only to discover that a rusty workmans stanley knife blade was just discarded on the side. This could have seriously injured us? I reported this and they just apologised and gave us a free massage each and transport to the airport. I would never stay in this hotel again and wouldn't wish anyone to go through our same experience.

A good place to stay.

A fair to good place to stay. Service is good and personnel are nice and attentive. We got a nice good-sized room without a view...seeing side of buildings next to the property. Buffet breakfast was good with nice selection of items offered. Room just need a little bit of sprucing up....carpet needs to be clean and some newer furniture. Linens and towels need to bleached or replace with new ones as they are mostly used, old and stained. Location was good with proximity to Makati Med Ctr. which was the reason we chose Somerset Millennium.

There was cockroaches in the room, the carpet was wet and stained. Everything in the room is filthy and old or torn open.
