Room was a reasonable size, staff were friendly, location and price were good.

I would have preferred the option to make a cup of tea on my room. Unfortunately I was unwell during my stay, ( not the hotels fault). Having the facilities to make a hot drink in my room would have been most welcome. The need to get dressed to go to the lobby to purchase a drink whilst unwell was not an ideal situation.

Location is walkable to the Dom and pretty interesting. Great view of train tracks and Dom from our window. Not kidding - very cool. Staff is great! Loved having a bar and breakfast available. The room and bathroom were very clean. Not much space to store your clothing so plan to keep most in your suitcase. We were there in winter so only peaked at top-floor deck. View up there has fantastic. Recommend and would come back.

The cafe in the reception area is very nice & the staff were exceptional. I gave 3 out of 5 stars because the room we stayed in was extremely small & the bathroom definitely could have been cleaner. If you are a solo traveler, it works, but if you’re traveling with another person, you may struggle. There wasn’t any room to open our luggage, other than on the bed. Also, it was hot like a sauna in the room so, we had to sleep with the window open in the 40 degree

The staff were helpful, the room was clean, warm (to the point of warm/hot), was very conveinent being so close the the station, city. Our room was 147 Urban basic, but away from the railway lines and the road infront was quiet as it was sort of pedestrianise, so not car busy. They allow 'left luggage' for free (and will not dispose of items if left for 7 days), which means on your last day you can come back after checkout to collect and go to the station.

Staff very friendly, nice room with a strong shower and adjustable aircon, comfy bed. We had a problem with our aircon where it made an annoying intermittent buzz and it kept me up all night! They did have a technician come and look at it and coulndt move us to another room as they were fully booked so i wont hold that against them! In the end we just turned up the fan so it drowned it out. The location is perfect, just a 5 minute walk from the cathedral. Nice rooftop terrace and free coffee 23:30-11:30.

I stayed here on a recent trip through Europe, exploring all of the Christmas markets. I stopped here in Cologne for three nights. The location is very close to the big cathedral in Cologne. It was very central to the cologne Central station. I felt like I could walk from the hotel to anywhere in under 30 minutes. They have a great lounge/lobby area. The front desk staff was also very great.

Less than a 5 minute walk to Cologne Central station. The staff were very helpful. The beds were very comfortable and bathroom amenities were adequate. The room is sparsely decorated but has all the essentials. The only thing I found a little weird was no tea/coffee in the room. You could only get it in the hotel reception from 10:30 pm to 10:30 am, so not during the day. Other than this, the stay was amazing.

We loved the vibe of the hotel but you can tell it is a lower end hotel. It was close to the train station, so that was great, but a bit of a walk from old town. Although we didn’t eat the breakfast buffet (not included in the price) had a good offering. They did have free coffee and water at all times.

The area around the hotel was a little sketchy, but we didn’t have any issues during our stay.

Overall our stay here was decent. The bathroom was clean and the room was clean. However we paid extra to upgrade our room and apparently all we received was a bigger room? But the room did not look like the picture of what it was supposed to look like. Also, there was no counter space in the bathroom and the way the shower is designed it made a complete mess on the floor. The staff however was very helpful and kind.

Room small but comfortable. Shower soaked the bathroom floor and could not be adjusted to prevent. Room far too warm and never below 24oC - reported to reception who stated the smart system was now set to warm mode but could not be controlled to reduce within the room. Area around the hotel felt a little unsafe- witnessed a multi police arrest within yards of the hotel entrance and lots of drunks and beggars around the hotel at night on the surrounding streets

We had a very pleasant stay for 3 nights and certainly will be promoting Urban Loft Cologne to our family & friends. It is very convenient to city centre & train station. The facility of access to free water & the security of the place also ranked very high with us, especially the room key working in the lift. (this was a new experience to us). Breakfast was of a high standard too. We loved the decor of the place, making it very relaxing.
One suggested addition to the room could be a phone with access to reception in case of an emergency. Thank you again for a lovely experience in Urban Loft Cologne.

We have very enjoyed our stay at the Urban Loft. Close to train station. Staff really friendly and super helpful. We were able to do early check in and leave bags during last day. Bed was very comfortable and the shower was good. The room wasn’t huge but fine for us. The room isn’t cleaned as standard during a two night stay and we were made aware of this on check in but told we could request clean towels if wanted. Would stay again.

Very comfy and cute room. Great location. Lobby was so nice, terrace was great, and breakfast was really good. The staff was incredibly nice as well. Only minor negative was our room key didn't work that well on the elevator. We saw another guest struggle with it as well.
