I have stayed at this Novotel many times and it is conveniently located to the Casa Port Train Station which has a train that goes to the CMN Airport. The staff is very friendly and the hotel room is the cleanest.

The breakfast room was too small for so many people and on one of the days there wasn't any cups or plates available at 7.30am.

Only two coffee machines available for such a big hotel is also quite disappointing as the line for coffee would be long.

But apart from that, great hotel and staff!

We had broken door lock, told the front desk didn’t get fixed until two days later. One day we were coming back to the hotel, upon elevator opens, a half naked man was inside. The hotel security is too loose.
Wifi wasn’t available on Dec 4th. No wifi for 24 hours. Wasted our time with the technician to figure out what’s the problem. We had to use data.
The tiny cheap flimsy paper cups were provided to the hotel rooms. We had hard time use them to drink coffee or tea and brush teeth.

Breakfast was never served on time. It is supposed to start at 6:30am but wasn’t ready until after 7:15am. The coffee was never hot, if you need hot water for tea you have to ask the waiter. Breads are not fresh, mostly days or weeks old. Waiters in the breakfast room always lurking making people uncomfortable!
Gym was fine.

I stayed one night hoping to get some rest before an 8-hour flight. The room had no functioning air conditioning and the hotel staff were unhelpful when I raised the issue. I was unable to sleep and had to leave exhausted. For the price and convenience I expected better — unwillingness (or inability) to fix a basic amenity made the stay unacceptable. Would not recommend

My experience was for two nights, and it didn't live up to the standards of a 4-star hotel.

The hotel is dilapidated, and the furniture is dirty and stained.

The breakfast was very simple not tasty at all.

The staff was excellent, except one!

The hotel entrance is extremely chaotic due to the heavy traffic!

They allowed me to check in early.

To start with the room had a musty smell like an old train carriage. There were two paper cups to use for drinks not suitable to reuse and useless. No milk for hot drinks. The bottom sheet didnt reach end of matress nor was it tucked in. The bed was solid and the pillows in the pillow cases literally in two pieces. My husband got an electric shock off the lamp.

Flight got canceled due to weather conditions causing us to miss our connecting flights and the lack of compassion and the unprofessionalism from this establishment was horrible. They respond online like they are trying to help but it’s automated and they don’t care. Called long distance and they put me on hold then hung up the phone, when I tried calling back, they kept hanging up the phone on me. I will never use this hotel nor recommend. Based on other reviews I can see I’m not the only one. Disappointing! Hope this isn’t a reflection of what tourism is like.

Comfortable, good location, but do not expect more

Quick check in and courteous staff. But service was non existent. The staff claimed to have 24 room service but no one picked up the phone when I called. Finally, had to call the reception asking to tea, coffee and milk sachets. They got it to my room after 1 hour, that too only a coffee pod.

It was a challenge to sleep in the room given the musky/mildew smell. The wall I slept next to had water damage. My sheets had step marks on it. It was difficult to sleep in. The location was spectacular as it was across the street from Casa Port.

Outdated hotel in prime location

Outdated hotel and more like a hotel you’d stay at near an airport. The location is great and walking distance to one of the train stations in Casablanca. We also got a room facing two major construction sites and the noise was annoying while we had to leave one of the windows open to get air from outside. The whole hotel needs professional cleaning and renovation. It was very busy when we stayed in it and I’m not sure where the revenues are going.

Total disappointment! The room was adequate, the air conditioner was insufficient, the room smelled of cigarettes. When I asked the front desk, I was told nothing could be done. With regards to the air conditioner, I contacted the front desk multiple times for a technician and no one arrived. On another note, the hotel has suddenly decided that it no longer provides parking for the guests. That change was a surprise, and unnecessary. All of the space in front of the hotel it is available for guests, was used by either friends of the security guards, folks with money, or people parking from the neighborhood, trying to get to the Medina. Instead of helping by keeping the space reserved for guests, they just say not my problem. Again, this was a change from previous stays.

Very convenient location just in front of Casa Port train station, if coming from airport.the commute is very easy. Building is well maintained, with spacious and comfortable rooms. Many elevators available minimize waiting time to get upper floors. Many atracciones are at a walkable distance, the furthest maybe is the Main Mosque, we took a petit taxi( red ones) and get there for 2 dolars) then walked back and visiting the different atracciones.

Staff are very helpful but we had to change rooms because the air-conditioning was not functioning properly and the room was hot. The new room was slightly better. Although this hotel is very basic, I had hoped they would provide a toothbrush and a shower cap at the very least.
Location wise it is near Rick’s cafe which is everyone’s favourite destination.

This was listed as a 4 star, Actually, it was more like a 3 star. The room had very few electrical outlets. it only provided 2 paper cups for water or coffee. No spoon for coffee, nor creamer, bathroom did not contain what is expected of 4 star hotel. Breakfast was extremely limited in offering.

Lovely hotel but bad nights sleep

We stayed for one night. The Hotel itself was lovely & clean & the location is good as near the souk. The hotel staff on reception were responsive and helpful & the wifi excellent . My only complaint is that it was excessively hot & there was no air conditioning. When we enquired about this we were told it had been switched onto heating only! The only option we had to cool down was to leave the windows open. Even on the 16th floor this was really noisy as there was construction work going on opposite & combined with the heat didn’t sleep well at all.

A very nice sand contemporary hotel, close to the old medina in Casablanca, and handy to the central area. The staff were lovely, and accommodating even with my poor French. It was clean, and the food was fresh. The workout area had a variety of machines to use, as well. One knock was that only two of the three elevators worked the entire 5 days I was there, and it was down to one elevator for part of the time. I would definitely stay here again.

Not As Described! We feel scammed!!

The hotel description states free wifi included. The wifi never worked. We let the front desk person know and he said he would advise the tech department about our issue. Nothing was ever done and they never followed up with us. I don’t understand how this is a 4 star Novotel. We never encountered this before in a Novotel. The room is very run down. The bathroom door doesn’t close. The ac doesn’t work. There was only one outlet by the beds. The water in the shower is barely warm.

The upper management of the facilities need to pay careful attention to the overall condition of the facilities as well as the supplies in the rooms. The towels are TERRIBLE!!! Invest in NEW TOWELS after a certain use time!! Old towels are rough and retain a very bad smell even after cleaning!! The towels I used in THREE different rooms are smelly and terrible!! This means that what encountered was the rule not the exception. The carpet in all rooms was awful dirty. This is NOT the problem of the cleaning staff. I saw they were doing the best; again It’s because the carpet needs to be removed and replaced after a normal number of years. Greed seemed evident and it’s a problem of the upper management and owners. Invest in new supplies anc new furniture! It will pay for itself in the long run.

Our trip was cancelled by our travel agents due to the Covid virus and international travel being shut down and when they were contacted Novotel Casablanca City Center refused to refund our money. The cancellation was completely out of our control. Although we will be booking the same vacation in the future as soon as this virus is in better control, we will absolutely NOT be staying at this establishment. The lust for money is evident and it trumps kindness and hospitality. Buyer beware, once they have your money they will never see it again.

From airport to hotel, it costed us 300 MAD arriving at midnight. Room was big and clean. Only 2-3 elevators at the property, so it took awhile to get onto the elevator given the number of guests that have.

Breakfast starts at 6:30am, but they have some complimentary coffee, tea, juices and some bakery available at 6am at the restaurant if you need to catch an early flight.

This is a very rundown hotel that you would not be able to tell from the lobby. The worst part is that it is filthy. I’m talking pubic hair and urine on the seat!? It is supposed to be non smoking and there is signs everywhere yet the hallways and our bathroom wreaked of cigarette smoke! I think they assigned rooms that were not cleaned. The carpets in the rooms and hallways seemed they hadn’t been vacuumed for a while with questionable things dried into the carpet. We had to change rooms a few times until we got a semi decent room without urine on the toilet seat and clean-ish. They cater to large Tours so any room with twin beds were basically horrible, the carpet was filthy, the safe didn’t work and the AC didn’t work in most rooms. If you plan on staying in this hotel make sure you get a room in higher up floors and request it to be serviced although they say it’s a king bed they have a queen bed. Try to get the even numbered rooms. They face the ocean and the big mosque so at least you have a view.
I think that front desk has heard these complaints so much that they’ve become desensitized and a bit rude. We had requested one of the front desk workers come see the room with us and she agreed the floors were filthy! The breakfast food was okay but the workers had an argument right in front of us and the plates and cups were not all clean. I do not recommend this hotel at all.

Breakfast was a disappointment. And hygienic minimum standards are not followed. For example, at the buffet there is not napkin to hold the bread when cutting off a slice for yourself. Every guest must hold the bread with bare hands. To pick up a pancake from the public tray, again, no tool available, you need to pick it up with your hands. Also the fresh clean plates were full of fingerprints which you see well when the light shines on them (iiihhh). Coffee was good though (Nespresso). Location also would not be bad, but at the moment there is a huge construction going on around the hotel. I doubt it will be finished in the next 6-12 months.

The location, across the street from the Casa Port train station, is the main positive. It's a basic European/American style large hotel. The coffee maker in the room didn't work, and the pull out sofa bed had no sheets. Other than that, it was fine.

Superbly clean hotel to explore the few sights Casablanca has to offer. While the whole surrounding area is mostly under construction, the hotel is quiet and secluded. Right next to two other hotels, there are always cabs available to explore the newer parts of the city

Hotel good, location good. Staff lovely. View out of the front pretty cool. Their CC machines didn't work for the deposit, however, so they brought hot food to my room and then asked me to come down to pay IMMEDIATELY. this happened to others also. Cold food doesn't taste so good. Beware room service if their 4 CC machines don't work.

Novotel Casablanca Definitely misses the mark. Customer Service was subpar during check-in process, rude and unwelcoming. Breakfast buffet option consist of breads, poor quality coffee that tasted like a mix of coffee and chocolate. Coffee machines were in poor condition and looked like it required a good cleaning. Perhaps this is why the coffee had a weird taste. Buffet included some hot plate options. However, all were cold and 3/4 empty.
Gym consists of a few machines. the belt in one treadmill was coming apart and required repair. Some of the machines were broken with cables wrapped around the seat rendering unusable. Overall, the gym looked like it needed a good revamp, change/repair machines and give it a good cleaning.

We wanted a reliable hotel for a one night layover in Casablanca since we were arriving late with a family of four. We have stayed in about a dozen Novotel properties in Europe. This one was fine, but at the lower end of the scale compared to other properties. The bathroom fixtures were clean but the floor looked like it hadn't been cleaned thoroughly. The queen bed was very comfortable but the sofa bed was thin and small, barely adequate for two small children. The breakfast area was nice and some items were very good (eggs cooked to order, some Moroccan specialties), but quality was inconsistent, with dry bread products and broken coffee machines. The front desk staff was helpful and friendly, internet was good.
