At first we were dropped off by our Taxi to the wrong place, the other Mogador hotel in front of the Marina hotel. That was confusing to us. But once at the correct hotel we enjoyed our brief stay.

Room was very hot. When I asked why the Aircon isn't working, they told me they turn it off. So I should open a window.

It’s a lovely hotel; lobby is cute and clean. Hotel rooms are nice and spacious and bathrooms are big. Amenities for the room are great. Bed and pillows were a little too soft but comfortable.
Staff didn’t come to the room twice when they said they would send someone to retrieve the bags from the car and to bring the luggage cart. Biggest con is the price of breakfast 200Dhm for a small selection of food items at their breakfast Buffett.

The towels were thread bare, very thin and raggedy. Also, headboards need to be replaced as they were scratched up and upholstery was torn, amenities on Expedia were in an adjacent hotel that we did not have access to...very disappointing.

I booked a room at the hotel for my fiancé, it was non refundable, she was denied access at the reception because of a “ law in Morocco that states that a single woman living in the same city is not allowed to stay in a hotel”. I was told at the reception that they will issue a refund however it never happened. The hotel team ignored multiple emails I sent them, they ignored phone calls by Expedia team . They should be announcing that clearly in the ads and not just rip people off their money😡😡

It was not a bad hotel the stay was good but they need to train their staff better they are sometimes rude and are unresponsive we asked for some towels and they said they would bring it up but they never came and we had to wait until the next day for housekeeping to bring some. The bathroom door won't close properly either. The electricy in the room requires the key to be in the wall in order to work. Our hotel key stopped working after the first day and I had to go back and get other one. Overall meh...okay experience I guess room was clean and housekeeping was good. Front staff need to be nicer and more responsive.

This hotel has the most friendly and helpful staff of all the hotels we stayed in during our trip!

Kwahla, Manal, Ahmed and Mustafa were the best, they helped with information, with exchanging money, they were so friendly, that alone would have been worth it!
Its not too far from the city, and the room was very big woth a fridge and a nice bathroom. Although there was no pool, there was a nice exercise room (gym).

Casablanca is a busy city, the peaceful experience at Grand Mogador Marina was a great balancer!

The room had adequate heating and hot showers but not quite a four star experience. Beware that the front desk staff will not call you a taxi for the airport unless you use their \"hotel taxi\" which is 500 dirhams (about $53) versus the regular airport taxis which are 300 dirhams ($32). After asking for a taxi, they recommended the hotel taxi, which we declined and just asked them to call a regular taxi. After half an hour we asked about the taxi and they said they could call a hotel taxi which would take about 15 minutes to arrive. Since we were running late for the airport we just flagged down a taxi on the street in one minute and paid the regular price. It isn't the price but the principle. I don't like to be scammed just because I'm a tourist. Overall, the experience in Morocco was great. The attitude of the hotel staff at the Mogador Marina needs to be changed, I hope the management addresses this.

The front desk staff are not friendly and reluctant to help.
They are greedy to get money from us. The hotel concierges asked $500 MAD for a ride to the Casablanca airport which the taxi charge only $300 MAD the most.
The room does not have coffee pot.
The location is far from the city center, not like Noveltel or Softtel, even though this hotel charged higher fee.
BAD service, cheating us the taxi fee, inconvenient location.

Nobody from reception, room service, house keeping or guest service answered the phone calls from room. I had to go down to reception twice making request after trying over 10 phone calls ad waited for over 1.5 hour with a minor request. Reception staff showed poor attitude and denied they did not receive pone call, that I had to ask one of them to try making phone calls to hotel services at my room to prove the situation.

Great hotel - less frills but very comfortable. The service was excellent and the breakfast had a wide variety of very good, mostly Moroccan food. The location is a little inconvenient to get to many of the tourist sites. But it's safe, has good parking and you have access to the luxury sister hotel Mogador next door.

Worse customer service ever!!

This hotel is the worse hotel I’ve ever been to that has the worse service!! When I got out of the taxi, no one came to grab my bags. No one helped me with my bags. The hotel clerk did not offer to help with my bags and told me the taxi cost from the airport is 500 d!! What a liar!!! The location is NOT GOOD!!
The room was clean and nice but the service sucked sucked sucked!!! I would never stay here ever again and do not recommend at all!! The hotel front desk did not have any change for bigger bills nor can they exchange currency. All the people that worked there were too busy chatting and socializing. The whole staff sucked! I would just stand at the front desk and the person that is free behind the desk won’t even offer to help.

This is a nice hotel, though it is not close to anything. They also don't have any shuttle service to / from the airport as it had said on the description. In order to get a cab anywhere they told us to walk to the end of the street and hail a cab. The staff were very nice and accommodating. The room was also great, but my only complaint was that it smelled like cigarettes, so we had to sleep with the window left open.

5-star comfort with 4-star prices

We moved from 5-star Movenpick as Ramadan prices were kicking in, and what a pleasant surprise. Hotel is on same block as 5-star Grand Mogador, and features toiletries, bedding, etc. from the Grand Mogador. Guests can also use their 5-star fitness centre. As we had a long stay, we were given one of the most spacious rooms on the upper floors (1602 and 1603) so the rooms were full on sunlight. Rooms were modern, windows could be opened to let fresh air in, and the memory foam mattress was memorable. Wifi was good, and the old Medina Great was within a short pleasant walk along one of the most architectonically interesting avenues of Casa (Mohammed V).

Amazing massive room. Lots of space for luggage and a big bathroom.
The bed was very comfy. Internet was just ok.
The house keeping was great. The taxis in front of the hotel have some kind of a deal with hotel and end up charging more than usual. Better to walk for 2 mins to a main road and get a cab from there.
The views nothing special. The area is up and coming. Lots of new buildings being constructed. But inside you couldn’t hear anything.

Not sure why??? I would stay here again but not pay for the breakfast and would go to a cafe near by. The reception kept forgetting to tell the concierge to call us back as we needed some Info. Everytime we asked for basic details about the area etc, we were told to speak to concierge which I get to an extent but then I don’t get how they forget to inform the concierge. No big deal but was rather annoying. I would stay here again though because Of the room. And that’s why you’re there I guess.
They need a pool and spa for sure.

Great hotel with beautiful rooms and lobbys. Service on point, but the area it's located is a bit sketchy. Buildings around it have seen the best of their days and the street had a beautiful trash tornado when we arrived. Other than that, great place to stay couple nights. Walking distance from the train station if your not traveling too heavy. My phone coudnt keep the WiFi longer than 5min maybe.

There is nothing to eat or of interest in this area. The staff said it was unsafe to walk around. The room was big and modern but was the dirtiest room I have stayed in and I've started in a lot. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone

Overall, the hotel was very nice. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. The only downside was the breakfast. For a buffet breakfast, which was very good, they charged 180 dirhams! I can't remember ever paying that much for a breakfast! However, I would still recommend this hotel.

Nice, clean and modern hotel in Casablanca. Convenient to get from Casa Voyageur train station which connects you to Fes and other major cities in Morocco. Not many restaurants around so you may have to take taxi to find something to eat. Staff at the front desk is nice but lack of service when calling from room. One star deducted because when we checked out there was nobody at the front desk which made us panicked as we had to catch the train to airport for our flight to Paris. Finally waited for some 20mins for somebody to show up to help us settle the deposit and city tax and everything.

Ideal for business trip,not leisure

i stayed with my friend at the Mogador Marina for two nights, easy to find if you are driving from airport or marrakech , they have free private parking which is a big help in casablanca .
We had a quick check in and concierge took our luggage into the room .
The room was probably just been cleaned , the floor was still wet ( very large rooms with fully working AC ) .
Staff wasn't very helpful though, I don't think they deal with many tourists tho, they didn't really know how to direct us and when we asked for advises regarding a good hammam the reception told us that he would have asked the concierge to leave the names for us for the next morning ...but the next day no one knew about our request.
Our room wasn't cleaned during our stay , housekeeping came the second day in the evening asking if we wanted our room to be cleaned but we were getting ready to out and plus leaving the next day so it didn't really matter.
Also I needed a brush or a combo which wasn't included in the bathroom toiletries and I have called the number written next to phone for housekeeping but the call went to the Grand Mogador ( next door ) and the lady wasn't very happy to take my call....I never received a brush by the way!

It is a very clean and nice hotel, but staff need to be more committed.

Terrible experience.

Roof was leaking near the closet. No one seemed to care.
Washroom was dirty. Look at the dirt in the picture attached in the bathtub on our arrival.
- complained to reception. They sent a staff up to the room and he wiped it with our bathroom towels. No cleaning products were used.
- did not offer to switch rooms
- hotel manager was never available
- they pretended to care by taking our email and having a manager reach out to us. never heard anything
- did not offer anything as a way to make up for the issue.

When you are on vacation all you can ask for is a clean room no matter how much you pay and if its not clean you expect someone to do something about it.

Check in took almost a hour, Breakfast was a nice big spread but nothing tasted good. The staff made every attempt to cater to our needs but getting us a iron to our room was not one of them . Location was a bit rugged i dont know if id venture on foot. Overall the room was really nice modern and clean. For the price i think it was very fair and i felt safe in the hotel itself.

Stayed with my family at this hotel in Casablanca . Our room was Clean large and quite. The front desk staff and Resturant staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good. When we arrive there was no tea facility in the room but once we contacted the reception the kettle and tea bags were delivered in less than 10 min. The city centre is about 10 min drive away.
I would recommend this hotel for families. One of the missing facility, there is no swimming pool.

i asked for adapter for my laptop so that i could charge and my other devices also but they simply refuse and instead asked me to go outside and purchase. I had asked for tea maker they do not provide unless you ask. There were no slippers in the room the toilet was always wet with some sticky solution on floor. There is no bar in the hotel so be known about it. I believe it is slightly overpriced

This hotel is understaff and under facilities. I was asked to wait for 25 minutes because the reception only have two staff and both of them were busy handling a group tour. When getting into the room, the room is clean and newly decorated, however, there were no cloth hangers in both of the room we booked. I tried to dial to the 1. House keeping and 2. Reception but no response after dialing for 10 minutes. I went to the reception to ask for few cloth hangers but was told that there was no cloth hangers available.

The hotel location is far from town and I had no choice but being wipe off by typical Casablanca taxi driver as they will charge you for 50 DH for a ride for 10 minutes.

When checking out, I have no choice but hiring a hotel shuttle but the shuttle was late for 30 minutes.

Overall, from check in to check out, the experience was not pleasant. Even worse, when I booked this hotel, the rating is well above 4.2 out of 5, I wonder how this hotel can get such a rating.

Beautiful New 4/5 Star Property

The hotel is beautiful and new, however some small things could be improved upon. Very rough cheap toilet tissue for a 4 star hotel. Tea pot the first night from room service had some kind of gel like substance coming out with the tea. They could use a few more pieces of furniture like a desk chair or higher table in the room. It was a huge room and very sparsely furnished. Hangers for clothes are always nice also.

On the other hand, the service from all the staff was attentive and excellent. We ate at the Mogadishu Centre hotel connected next door (the 5 star) and the food and service were excellent. Buffet breakfast at Mogadishu Marina was very good and is now 364 MAD for two.

Port area is a short walk from the medina, but not necessarily scenic or safe looking.

Well what can I say , I was not impressed.
I arrived very tired from overnight flight from USA. I arrived early like 10 a.m. and I thought I can get early checkin if room is available. It is a big hotel with many rooms and it seemed there are plenty of empty rooms and later I found out that hotel had many vacant rooms at least on my floor.
However , hotel manager told me if I want to get an early checkin I have to pay 600 Maroco dirhm or approximately 60 euros. I never had such experience before with other hotels anywhere in the world. I asked manager for explanation and his answer was that I booked my reservation several months in advance and I already paid cheap price...
To be fair some of the staff were helpful and helped me to buy Sim card for my phone.
Will I stay in this hotel ever again. I don't think so.

Excellent hotel

A truly 5 star hotel. A very clean huge room and bathroom fully loaded with quality toiletries. Manal, at front desk was very helpful. A lot to choose from at breakfast. Staff very obliging. We stayed here for 3 nights.

I was upgraded to the Grand Mogador, which was a nice suprise. The Grand Mogador was a nice, new, clean hotel. I would definitely stay again.

Even without an upgrade, it's a lovely hotel

Some previous reviewers mentioned an upgrade to the Grand Mogador next door on arrival. Well we didn't receive this perk but were very satisfied with the comfort and cleanliness of the room, the warmth of staff and the wonderful breakfast which was just as good as at many five star hotels that I've stayed at before. The location is a bit quiet but just a stone's throw from the tram line and parking was easy to manage (avoid driving at rush hour though, Casa traffic is a mess!)

Gorgeous hotel in the center of town!

Amazing staff and accommodations! Very clean and modern, you almost forget that you're in Morocco! The service was wonderful and the rooms were spacious and oh so lovely! Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Casablanca.
