When we arrived in Casablanca- we went to the hotel’s restaurant at 12:30 PM and told them that we had a tour at 1:30 PM and asked if the food would be ready right away and was asked for the food at 1:00 and was told the the food is ready. It was already 1:15 PM (45 mins of waiting) and no food came so we decided to cancel our order. Then they told us food is being drizzled now. We told them they shouldn’t expect us to eat the food in 5 mins for us not to be late for our tour.

On our first night- the air conditioner was not working and we informed the receptionist about it. While we were out the following day- - they sent a portable heater to our room (looked like they wanted the room to be get hotter). When we came back that afternoon- the room was still hot. They told us to give the air conditioner an hour and it should be fine. In the meantime- they sent a technician with another heater. We told the technician that we need an air conditioner and not another heater. Finally they transferred us to another room on our second night where the air conditioner was working. However the TV was not working. We had to call the receptionist twice before they senta technician.

On our third day - we left for our tour and came back at 3:00 PM with our room not done- bed sheets have not be changed and dirty towels still on the floor. Again we had to call the receptionist twice before the lady came to clean our room. Funny that the lady asked us to give her a good review in google.

This hotel is very nice, huge, and extremely aesthetically pleasing. The rooms themselves are beautiful and well designed, making for a great first impression once you arrive.

That said, the arrival and check-in process was frustrating. First, we had difficulty finding the hotel because it had moved locations, and the GPS directed us to the old address. This made the arrival stressful. Once we finally got there, check-in took quite a long time—we waited about 30 minutes before everything was completed.

When we got to the room, it was lovely, but unfortunately one of the beds was broken. The staff offered to move us to another room, but the alternative bedroom was too small for our group. We asked instead for a replacement bed to be brought to the room. This process took far longer than expected. Despite calling the front desk multiple times and being told someone was on the way, no one arrived. I eventually had to go downstairs myself to follow up. In total, we waited about an hour for the bed to be brought up. Since this happened late at night, it was especially frustrating, as we were exhausted and ready to sleep but couldn’t until the issue was resolved.

On a more positive note, the restaurant was excellent. The restaurant staff was friendly, attentive, and welcoming, and the food was so good that we ended up eating there twice.

The highly professional staff whom provided wonderful hospitality. The dinning buffet is pricy but worth the experience. My room was spacious, luxurious, comfortable, quiet, and very clean. The Breakfast and Dinner buffet team (Mouna and others) made me feel like royalty each day. I cannot express enough how welcome I was way made to feel, from the front desk agents, to Saad/Hamid the concierge, and the dinning room team. This Hilton property has become my first choice in Casablanca.

I arrived with no plans and was thrilled to meet the team who did everything to make sure that everything i hoped for, happened and well! From Ramses who met me at the car to Sara and others at the front desk and Ismael, the concierge, EVERYONE was wonderful. I truly felt like the goal was to make my stay as unforgettable as possible. Ismael was able to help with transportation and my next hotel and little things like finding a charger. He is GREAT at his job, both kind and generous with his time. Yusef was the driver to Marrakesh and he was fantastic too, super accessible and responsive. He really went out of his way to make sure i saw what i wanted. My room was great, the hotel is beautiful and with the incredible service, I would HIGHLY recommend a stay at the Grand Mogador in Casablanca.

Great place in Casablanca

Grand Mogador City Center in Casablanca was a delightful surprise during my short stay. The hotel's elegant ambiance, impeccable service, and luxurious amenities made for a truly memorable experience. The room was spacious, beautifully furnished, and offered stunning views of the city. The staff were attentive and went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. The central location made it convenient to explore the city's attractions. Hotel was nice paid for the Grand Hotel and got a room in the Marina next door
Room was not bad except for the bloody sheets!
Requested a wake up call for 09:00 am but was surprised to get a 06:00 am.
The night auditor (Hassan?) refused to admit any wrong doing and insisted we asked for a 0600 wake-up call.
When asked to speak to a Manager at checkout I was told he was in a meeting!

The room was huge and comfortable so that’s a plus. However the staff, well….
Check-in I got got double charged, they didn’t bring bags up, and then on any given day the most money I could exchange was 40 dollars .
I called downstairs to see if they had a bar/lounge … they said it opens at 7… and all they had to do was look up and see it was completely not being used . I assume a lot was lost in translation as most English isn’t their top language , so no fault of theirs . It was just like it wasn’t fully up and running again but the staff had to act like it was .
Again, the rooms were great , so if you want a nice QUIET area of town to get rest . This is the place

They charged be 200 dihrams for early checking in. Exceptionally BAD service. I had to wait 30 minutes for checking in to my room even though I paid extra. Room was ready. There were 4 people at the front desk, just laughing and joking, wasting time while customer is waiting. It took an hour to just get complimentary toothpaste and toothbrush at the room. This team needs training from IHG group on service. I have seen lazy people, but they are the worst. When i walked into the restaurant, the first thing came out of the person in front of the restaurant on duty is how much the price person is. No greetings. Worst Hotel Service I have ever experienced in Morocco.

Very nice, comprehensive hotel with excellent facilities, comfortable room in central Casablanca. Good breakfast, but very slow service getting tea or coffee from what apparently was plenty of staff. There was a restaurant/lounge in a nice location with terrific food and great service for lunch or dinner. The hotel desk staff was friendly, but not helpful. We were called 10:30 PM to present our voucher to show payment- I had to dress and go down to the desk to show this and to pay a local tax (hotel bill was paid in advance). I paid in cash, but they didn't have change. I was told to ask for it in the AM when checking out. At that time, they didn't have any record of the change I was owed. Although the amount of the change was trivial, this shouldn't happen. I then asked the staff to call a taxi to take us to the airport (called a Grand Taxi in Casablanca, capable of handling luggage of which the smaller taxis were unable), but was told the Grand Taxis rarely came by the hotel, and the hotel wouldn't call us one, but would provide us with their own contracted service ( a limousine). This was significantly more expensive than a taxi. I paid for this as there appeared to be no other choice, but one of the bellmen indicated that there indeed were Grand Taxis in the area, but couldn't say this in front of the management who evidently were at the desk. I would not stay here again.

The hotel was a bit away from the main attractions, but, Casablanca is so spread out, most attractions are not close. Taxis are readily available. Staff was always helpful, breakfast was plentiful and the room was large and well kaid out. I had to downgrade a bit, because the bathroom shower smelled of mold and rot.

Nice, big and clean rooms, but location is far from Medina, and unsmiling staff at breakfast room who cannot remember when you request for coffee (sometimes up to 3 times!) and are unduly concerned with clearing plates and cleaning tables (sometimes the same table is cleaned twice by different staff) when 3/4 of the restaurant has empty set tables. Better to have a self service coffee machine!

Room is perfect, spacious and comfortable. The front desk manager is also very friendly and helpful. However, the restaurant food is pretty horrible and the service is very unprofessional. The lady at the egg station took the food from the bread and dessert station while the guests are having breakfast and she was away from her station half of the time.
Location of the hotel is not diserable. It is facing the port but away from everything else. Need to taxi to wherever you need to go but make sure that you don’t get the taxi in front of the hotel cos the drivers will charge a lot more. In general, it is a very comfortable and pleasant stay.

We checked at the hotel around 11pm. Front desk ask us to wait. One hour later we were told hotel do not have any rooms, because they were overbooked.
We insisted it is the hotel responsibility to find 2 rooms for us in similar 5 star hotel.
Around 0230 am they offer us a junior suite instead.
We accept, we were tired.
It turn out they have a problem with door lock, it can only be opened using master key.
Every time we leave room , had to wait for 1/2 hour
For guy who has Mayer keys.
It was a terrible stay.

Misleading staff, money grab!

We called from the airport for a room for the day as we had a flight that same day and just needed a place to rest for the day. We were told the person needed to check to see if rooms were available and kept on hold for ten minutes and then hung up on. Not so good. We arrived at the hotel where the lady offered us a rate to check in early. We said we were getting a better rate on hotels.com and would like to use our app to pay. I double checked with her that we could still check in early with the rate I was paying online. She said yes. With this assurance we paid the nonrefundable amount on the app. She then proceeded to tell us we needed to pay a further 300 dirhams to check in early. WHAT? I was now extremely irritated that even though I had checked we wouldn’t need to pay extra, we still had to in the end. Be careful with the staff here- either they are untrained or simply do not understand English fully.

Unable to access internet consistently led to loosing almost 3 days worth of data (unable to back up) and a week full of connection issues that greatly hindered my business. Tried to call guest services for help twice and nothing was done to resolve the issue.

Prior to arriving in Casablanca, I had tried on several occasions to organise a transfer for my wife and I. No response was received from the hotel or the concierge, who, after several phone calls on the date of arrival, was unable to call me back due to being \"too busy\". When i arrived, i rang the hotel again asking about my transfer, and got told rather bluntly that no transfer was booked and to find a red cab out the front.
When i got to the hotel, expecting to see many people bustling around, we found the complete opposite. Staff were standing out the front of the hotel smoking, and when they saw us getting out of the taxi, decided to run inside instead of assisting us with out bags. Certainly not a 5 star hotel service.
Once we got inside the hotel, it seemed like it was vacant. I was bewildered given the previous phone calls stating the concierge was too busy to return my call to organise a transfer. When checking in, we were not greeted with smiles and apologies for the inconvenience of carrying all our bags inside and having to organise our own way to the hotel. Small issues i know but still worth a mention.
When we got to our room, we were surprised at the size of it. Rather excessive for our needs, but nonetheless, comforting. We had a view from the 15th floor (17 in total) which wasn't too bad. Complimentary water bottles next to the bed also.
Overall, certainly not worthy of 5 star.very quiet, staff seem bored, and building not of the high standard expected

Modern hotel with nice design features, large confortable rooms with large bathrooms at affordable prices, but slightly understaffed. This hotel is not located at the city centre despite its name. It is located in the port area with unappealing surroundings. A little bit of mould is building in the corner of the showers.

Staff friendly and breakfast was great although staff at egg station were slow and more interested in their phones and conversing with themselves. Overall, a good hotel at reasonable rates

AMAZING & COMFORTABLE.

This Hotel is great.
Staff were AMAZING!!!!!
They would assist with anything you requested. We stayed 1 night before heading out for our adventures and then stayed 3 nights before heading home to Toronto. Definitely a place to go back to and recommend.
