A Timeless Gem — Sheraton Still Shines Bright!

I have a long, fond history with the Sheraton Hotel—going all the way back to my university days, over 30 years ago. Back then, as a student, I often brought visiting university guests to stay here, knowing they’d be well taken care of. Fast forward to today, and I’m thrilled to report that Sheraton still hasn't failed us!

Yes, it’s an old hotel—but not in a shabby or tired way. Rather, it exudes a kind of timeless elegance and solid dependability that’s hard to come by these days. The bones of the place are strong, the service is impeccable, and the atmosphere still carries that dignified warmth I remembered from decades ago.

What truly impresses me is how the hotel has managed to stay relevant and welcoming, without losing its soul to unnecessary overhauls or trends. The staff were courteous and professional, the rooms clean and comfortable, and the entire experience felt like a warm nod to both the past and the present.

Sheraton, thank you for being the kind of place we can keep coming back to—confident that you’ll still deliver. You’re not just a hotel, you’re a memory keeper. Here's to many more stays!

Great Stay when in Bandung

One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. I love Sheraton in general. But this particular Sheraton makes me feel so homey and comfortable. Beautiful decoration, spacious room, comfy bed, clean bathroom with lots of amenities, literally I can find everything I need in the bathroom. Friendly and helpful staff. I love the smell of the lobby area. They had this very nice smell coming out of their aromatherapy diffuser. They gave a yummy welcome drink too as you checked in.

Too bad I only stayed for a night. I will come back and stay longer next time.

Dilarang untuk keluarga yang bawa bayi

Tidak cocok untuk keluarga yang membawa anak kecil/bayi.
Asi saya untuk bayi, semuanya busuk dan dibuang. Padahal dari awal sudah bilang dengan jelas minta dimasukin ke freezer beku, sudah konfirmasi ke front desk lalu ke kitchen juga 2x konfirmasi percuma. Tidak ada minta maaf dll hanya susu asi berharga yang terbuang sia2. Hotel bintang 5 kualitas kaki lima.

The room service is really slow and they serve u with nothing at the restaurant while waiting for your food to arrive. Staff is not helpful at all when you ask them for directions. Our room has a hidden lizard among the towels and a tiny dead lizard on the floor. I guess they didn’t do a good job cleaning up. However the food at the feast restaurant was pretty good and the spa is excellent (save for the fact that they are always full). Swimming pool has a lot of children which can be rather noisy.

Good hotel. Wireless system was ON and OFF throughout the two days of our stay. Breakfast buffet had some variety but was not comparable to other 5 star hotels.

Dian at the front desk was very helpful, friendly and professional. The room was spacious which was great although it was a little dark to be able to do the reading and writing that I needed to do (most people would normally be sightseeing during the day and early evening of course). The shower didn't drain so well on some days and made the room smell a little musty which I why I noted the condition as middling. The service was excellent and the local area was really good for my trips to the city, Cibodas and Lembang. The cafe is nice as an alternative to the restaurant and was good when I needed to do more work in bright light with good food and great coffee.

A decent hotel in Bandung

A pleasant hotel in Bandung as a good base to explore the city.
The breakfast buffet has a wide assortment of items.
There is a lobby bar which isn’t very private but they have beverages - it’s probably best to buy duty-free.

Great stay at the Sheraton Bandung

The hotel was everything we expected it to be. Spacious and clean rooms, nice and quiet. The staff were amazing, attentive and hospitable. Great customer service. The SPA services are good and they had a special SPA treatment room for couples. All shopping and tourist spots was easily accessible via GRAB service. We will certainly go back and stay in this hotel when we are in Bandung again!

A fine 4-star hotel

It was a perfectly decent hotel for the money. It may have been a true 5-star hotel 20 years ago but these days it is no more than a 4-star when compared to hotels in Jakarta or Singapore. Service is polite and rooms are comfortable, etc., but it just feels old and tired. Again, at the price I paid this hotel was fine. I am writing this review so that future visitors do not book their stay with overly high expectations. I don't know why they use the term 'tower' in their name as there was no tower.

Staff with pleasant disposition and helpful with our request during our stay. Hotel has family friendly facilities for kids and lounges for adults. Breakfast menu was decent. Ideally needs a transport from hotel for sightseeing. Overall good stay. Thank you.

5th or 6th stay over the last 11 years, a family favorite given its location and good service. But the last stay was not as memorable as it used to be. Cleaning/housekeeping service in the room was not satisfactory. Upon check in we found cigarette butts from the prior guest. Bathroom matt and trashbin and complimentary mineral waters missing. Coffee maker not cleaned . Perhaps the cleaning was done in a hurry ?

Good staff and restaurant, but.....

I enjoyed the restaurant and buffet breakfast. It was spacious and not crowded. The hotel staff are friendly. But, my room had two problems:

1) one day at 5.30am (yes, that's right, 5.30am) there was some kind of business function/team building activity in the main garden of the hotel. They were using speakers and microphones at 5.30am! It was impossible to sleep. The hotel gave me a one-night hotel voucher as compensation, but, a good night sleep is worth much more than a voucher.

2) despite being on a non-smoking floor, for two nights I had cigarette smoke coming into my room. Could it be coming through the aircon?

.cleanliness of room not well managed - lots of marks on table but not clean
.ceiling lighting strip, external door light was not working for 2 days
.bathroom design not well built - water flow could not get to the passage way so bathroom is quite smelly after each bath. size of bathroom far too big not really necessary for such size. bathroom passage and dry area not well design, when bathing, water will flow to dry area, need much cloth/towel to dry floor
.toilet paper holder fragile, almost on verge of breaking
.no soap dish
.wash sink too small, water splash all over the place on table...
.no stationary in room i.e. envelope, postcards, A4 writing materials, etc.
.newspaper delivery not consistent - only gotten 1 set of newspaper for 5 days stay.
.interconnect room door to door design poor both doors have to open which block the passage way
.carpet with chair does not move well as leg of chair is rough and causes huge friction with carpet...

The Good
1. Overall, the room was spacious and comfortable.
2. The service staff were keen to help whenever possible. They were also very kind to provide a free drink & dessert upon check-in.

The Can-Be-Improved
1. I felt that signages around the hotel were insufficient/too small, leaving me to scratch my head as i searched for the guest lift with my luggage.
2. I did not like that the toiletries (shampoo & body soap in particular) smelled like cheap dish soap, and was glad i brought my own to use.
3. I suffered a mild cut on my thigh after i hit a sharp splinter under the writing table. Good thing the service staff was fast to bring me some band-aid & to check on me & attempt to fix the problem.

Repair your bathroom please! clog no working!!!!

I paid extra on my recent stay at Sheraton Bandung for a bigger space since it was my last night for my business trip. The room is spacious and I have no issue but the bathroom is the one I have issue with. The drainage is not working when I have the shower and the clog did not do the job at all. The bathroom didnt have a tub and it was all shower. It was very disgusting! complained to the receptionist but they only say sorry with no action. Disgusted at the staff too.

Nice hotel with great service

Stayed for 2 nights at this nice hotel off the town centre. Rooms were spacious. Had a rude awakening on my first morning when an inconsiderate event organizer was testing mic at 5.30am in the morning. After registering my complaint, I was later upgraded to a big suite. Well, kudos for service recovery. If possible avoid the units behind the main pool, that is where the event area is.

Overall my 6 days and nights stay at the hotel was a pleasant one. Despite a few jammed doors for my first few days, it was fixed for me when I needed assistance.

Room was clean and tidy. It was properly cleaned each day. Bed sheets and towels was changed when needed. Facilities wise the pool was pleasant for a hot day swim. Other facilities and services however seemed a bit hidden as it was properly introduced unless we asked.

Overall a pleasant stay with staff that we ready to give assistance whenever I needed. Knowing I was alone, I know I'm safe.

Typical Sheraton high standards

The Sheraton Hotel provided an excellent retreat from the chaos of the Bandung streets and chaos. After attempting to enjoy what little there was to do in Bandung, it was so good to get back to the comfort of the hotel. If I had to visit Bandung again, I would choose to stay in a suite room and just stay in the hotel as everything you need is right there.

NIce provincial hotel, resort-like and attractive.

Everything from check-in to check-out was nice. Friendly staff as can be expected in Indonesia, nice room (Towers Cabana) which gave us access to the lounge. Appreciated the large modern T&B with large soaking tub. The aircon was not working nicely though. It was pretty warm the entire stay. It was colder outside at night! Service was fine and quick and efficient.

At the time I stay there the hotel was under renovation at the restaurant and the breakfast were set at the side pool, but due to a temporary place for breakfast (according to me) the food was not as good as the other 5 star hotels, I can say that it was just about 3 stars breakfast menu. But overall the view and the garden was a cured for the bas breakfast experience at 5 stars hotel. Thank you.

Great Tower rooms with balconies overlooking valle

The hotel is under major renovation, which doesn't affect the Towers rooms very much. It will last for most of a year. I find the Sheraton Bandung peaceful and clean, the staff friendly. Will be back!

Nice 5 star hotel in Bandung

This is my first time stay at Sheraton Bandung. It was convenient and resort type hotel. I stay and Tower Room, but a bit confused at the first time where is the check in receptionist location. No instruction / guidance board or somebody waiting in the sidepart of carpark (which carpark is made for the Tower Guest) to take our luggage etc. But overall, we are happy stay in this hotel.

Very clean and comfortable; great value for money. Staff service was excellent. We loved the garden in Sheraton Bandung; very relaxing and so nice to be in nature with all the butterflies! We actually returned 3 days laters as we could not get to Jakarta due to the floods. A great place for relaxation if you are thinking of getting away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

A real bargain stay at a 4.5 star hotel

From the information, I was expecting the valley to be totally forested. Instead we were looking at hillside houses among some greenery. But nevertheless, it was very relaxing sitting at the balcony terrace having an evening cocktail.
