I had a great stay at the numa Madrid. The room was quiet and the bed quite comfortable. I have no complaints at all. 5 minute walk to the Thyssen; 10 minute walk to the Prado; -5 minute walk to the Reina Sofia. Perfect for an art lover. I recommend, however, an iron and board for those among us who appreciate being neat.

The location is the best but the room is very small, no real place for suitcase. The shared lobby is excellent where you can have access to a kitchen and fridge. There is even a public laundry machine. There are free lockers you can leave your luggage’s until 8pm the day you check out. All self service. Easy.

The room is very small, the furniture is cheap and flimsy, the restroom is tiny, but the shower is the absolute worst; I think it was barely 2ft x 2ft (60cm x 60cm) with a big manifold inside, so you cannot move! You cannot take a proper shower in this thing.
The “hotel” is not by definition a 3 star hotel as there are no real amenities, no reception, no service. The rooms are located in a portion of the 7th floor of a building with other businesses in it. There is a small comunal space with a table, chairs, flimsy lockers, and some toiletries, and that is it. This place should be described as 1 star.
The room was also in need of maintenance with signs of wear. The heavy door for the micro bathroom was barely moveable. The towels were as scratchy as the toilet paper that could be used to sand wood. The smell of disinfectant was very strong on the whole floor. Location, location, location! This property is steps away from two of the major museums in Madrid, making it perfect for a quick trip to the city. It was, however, one of the smallest rooms I’ve ever stayed in with hardly room for our 3 suitcases. The room also featured a shower that would barely fit anyone who is a few pounds heavier than I am. The lack of anyone onsite to help with problems was a downside as well. We never received a check-in email that was sent to a rarely used email address that left us not knowing how to get into the property. Luckily we arrived when the cleaning staff was there to help us. Also we never got an answer to our request for an early check-in that we sent through the hotels.com app. Still it was relatively quiet, despite the shared common area and very convenient. The breakfast provided at extra cost was meager given the price, and I’d opt out of it if ever staying there again.

I love staying at Numa properties! This one in particular is rather small. I couldn’t even open my large suitcase in the room. And the shower head did not work properly. Other than that, it is a great option to stay at!

We booked what the hotel had been calling a double room, that is, until we arrived, after which they started to refer to it as a tiny room. The reason being; the double room was absolutely tiny and not at all like the pictures on their advertising. However, this was not the main reason why we didn’t stay: the hotel knew ahead of time that the air-conditioning was not working but did not bother to inform us. The temperature in Madrid on our arrival was in the 30s and being in a tiny room without air-conditioning was impossible. Fortunately, Expedia were able to sort us out with an alternative, although the hotel were unable to help, especially as there is no reception desk at the property. Not a good experience.

Advertisement shows air condition in rooms. Aircon clearly don’t work and haven't worked for quite some time. Communicate with Numa to their response “We know we are having issues with the aircond in several rooms”. Maybe tell this to us before we arrive as it averages 28-30 degrees in the room at all times. Rooms fairly clean but condition bathroom was pretty worn.

2 hours wait due to check in issues
The stay was good but the communication regarding the check was very poor. I did not get my check in link at all initially. I had to call them up when I reached the hotel and ask for the check in link. I had to wait for 2 hours at the main gate to check in as the link they sent did not work at all.

What I didn't like about the property is that although there is a window in your room, it looked out into another window in the building directly across the way. However, the good part of this is at least this window opened and no noise to mention whatsoever during my stay. You can easily adapt after staying for a day.
The accommodation was very clean including the breakfast common area; the breakfast choices and being able to select these ahead of check-in were most appreciated and well-represented along with the special morning postcard was a very nice touch; the hotel cleaning staff was most friendly as well as the property manager and her recently appointed new associate both helped me in opening my room safe just before checkout. Thank you again to both of you for being so helpful with getting this safe open so I could make my next connection on time. Martin :)

More of a hostel, than a hotel
After a lot of mucking around, trying to call someone, just to get into the building, we finally got in and then discovered this is pretty much a hostel. Small common area and then small rooms off from there. We didn't end up staying because our room was right next to the entry level for everyone staying and we knew we'd have noise all night. Checking in (if you can call it that) was difficult but the biggest problem for us was the style of accommodation.

This property is in an excellent location, super clean and has everything you need. The only downside for me is that this is more of a hostel setting which I wasn't expecting. Total mistake on my part as I was expecting a Hotel. But it is a nice small room that was very clean, the bed was very comfy and it was right in the center. This was an incredible find. It was a beautiful room with everything you need to relax after a long day of exploring the city. It was close to so many wonderful spots and you could walk to multiple metro stations. It’s a beautiful area near a lot of restaurants. The only thing that was unexpected was the thinness of the walls. You will hear your neighbors above and next door. Other than that, it is an amazing place to stay.

This type of hotel is new to me - all digital interaction and situated on the 7th floor of a small commercial building. But it worked seamlessly for my needs. Perfect location near Atocha, museums, and the Center. My room and bath were small but modern, very comfortable, and very clean. Common area has kitchenware and appliances, and extra towels if needed. Will definitely stay here again.

Embora a localização seja excelente, o box é o quarto são extremamente pequenos ! Eu praticamente não cabia dentro . Os quartos desse hotel fica no sétimo andar e por 2 dias o elevador ficou quebrado . O prédio estava em obra , então muito cedo já começava o barulho. Por conta da obra , muito pó e o quarto ficou muito sujo e ninguém limpou nenhum dia .
