Clean, great value for money. Friendly welcoming staff. The aparthotel has a decent sized rooftop pool but even more impressively decent sized gym in the basement with weights and cardio equipment. The gym also has lockers and showers. The rooms are decent sized with a small living room space with a kitchen including cooker, microwave, fridge, kettle. The tv is a smart tv with Netflix & Prine built in you just need to use your own accounts to login. Msida - the area where the venue is located is a residential area but well located to go to all major areas of Malta. Uber is probably my recommendation for Malta, easy quick & better to use than public transport which can be a bit challenging. Overall the hotel was excellent value for the price per night

Great apartment hotel room in Msida near the university. Plenty of restaurants and food shops within easy walking distance. Several very nice coffee shops nearby. Bistro77 on the ground floor has really good seafood dishes. The laundry facilities were clean and efficient. The staff was helpful and quite friendly. All around great place to stay.

The Sofa bed was not prepared even though it was requested weeks ago. No towels added. After notifying the reception, we were told that I must take care myself whatever we need. Provided bed materials were not Clean and hairy. The pool area should have been open until 8 pm but it was closed much earlier due to their decision. The bed was quite dirty. Overall it was terrible experience.

I thought this hotel was in Valleta but it was the middle of nowhere with no restaurants or shops near by. but it was close to many stops so it was easy to get around. the staff are very nice but our room was not very clean even after i asked for it to be cleaned again. the sofa bed is most uncomfortable and certainly not worth the 20 euro extra i paid for 8 nights even though i only needed it for 4 nights. i certainly will not be staying here again. i have to say the shower was great even if it was not very clean. i’m

Friendly staff, was great being able to use the swimming pool and gym showers and provided with towels on our last day for when we had a late evening. Coffee is well priced on the ground floor.

Great air-conditioning and good shower pressure, however room maintenance to be improved as kettle was dirty and black mould in shower grout. We stay at the end of the summer season.

Quiet residential area but close to many bus stops. Short bus journey into Valletta.

I stayed here with my husband and my nearly 2-year old daughter. I booked a superior apartment with a balcony which was perfect as it gave us daylight and more space for the 4 days we stayed. The floors could be mopped as we could feel sand on it and our feet became rather dirty from it. However, the shower pressure is great and it offered a good amount of space to feel comfortable and relax once our daughter was asleep in the evening. There is construction work around the area during the day but it is fairly quiet at night which is great. There are local amenities and a bus stop not too far from the hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful. Towels and bedding are not refreshed daily but the hotel is happy to provide new towels upon request. Overall, we had a positive stay.

The welcoming was amazing, staff is really friendly and helpful. The room was clean, although there were a lot of markings from suitcases or other things on the wall.
Bathroom was really hot, and there was no way to get it any cooler. The shower was good and nice thought of the power outlet for shavers.
The amenities were great, room was supplied with everything necessary in the kitchen and bathroom. We couldn't find instructions on how to use the oven but that wasn't too big of a hassle, just Google the model and make on Internet.
The beds were a little too hard for my liking, but that's just personal preference. I woke up with pain in shoulders and hips and nights were a little short.
Finally, there were enough power outlets around the apartment.
Rooftop pool and bar were really good, with good cocktails which made for a nice siesta. Not too busy at the time we visited.
The breakfast was good too, with variety in bread, fruit and drinks.
In conclusion, I would recommend the hotel. Will defenitely come back sometime.

We had a very disappointing stay at this aparthotel for a variety of reasons. Firstly the photos on the website are most definitely not a true reflection of the reality. We booked a penthouse apartment which could only be described as basic. It did have a lovely balcony with sun loungers which unfortunately were non adjustable. In addition the ceilings in both the bedroom and sitting area were an eyesore-see pictures. The patio door did not lock. The pool area does not have sun loungers only tables and chairs. My biggest gripe was the lack of cleaning, there wasn’t any at all during our 8 day stay. When I enquired about cleaning I was informed that there is cleaning after 7 days . Unfortunately it didn’t seem to apply to us. Fresh towels were supplied on request but the dirty towels weren’t collected-see pictures. This aparthotel gives the impression of having been built on a shoestring budget. Overall staff were polite, courteous and helpful apart from one member of staff. We had high hopes for our stay but left bitterly disappointed.

Its an apartment that you can have breakfast included. Ideal for family but if you're expecting turned down rooms with refreshments replenish ed this wont happen. The hotel was tidy and rooms were spacious.

Very pleasant stay

This is a nice hotel in an easily accessible location.
All the staff but especially reception were welcoming, very helpful and professional.
The apartment was a good size, clean and in good condition. Higher floors have a view to the harbour which I later realised was just 15 minutes walk away. 30 minutes to the terminal.
Although near the university, it was fairly quiet.
The only disappointment was breakfast. The selection wasn’t really to my taste.

The Adagio was exactly what I needed. A comfortable bed, a clean and nicely proportioned room, and all the facilities I needed to be comfortable for my ten day stay. Yes, you’re a 45 minute walk from Valletta, but the buses are quick, and the walk is lovely. There are some great cafes nearby (I recommend Coffee Circus and Cafe Brillace in particular), and the restaurant downstairs is great too. I cooked most nights (there’s a decent SPAR not far away), and that worked well, though I would have loved it if the hotel supplied olive oil (I do appreciate there are some hygiene issues… but it felt a shame to have to buy a whole bottle and leave most of it unused).

All in all: a great stay. I moved to a ‘fancy’ hotel closer to Valletta for the final few days of my stay in Malta… and I really miss the comfortable, quiet apartment I had at Adagio.

This is my second visit to Aparthotel and third to Malta, so I knew what to expect. The property remains in excellent condition and the hotel contributes to the environment with their recycling facilities, which I commend them for.

I requested the same accessible apartment that I had in February ie a walk- in shower. It was misinterpreted as a request for a disabled apartment, which to the hotel's credit, they did supply. Upon arrival I realised the misunderstanding, and as this was off- peak season, staff was able to arrange a transfer.

The front desk staff, bar staff and breakfast staff were all very courteous and accommodating, as was the general manager. I thank Monica for providing alternative breakfast items which did not contain pork and to Arif for his cheerful disposition. I hope future consideration can be given to other non- pork eaters during off- peak seasons.

The surrounding area, is mostly on an incline, some streets are quite steep and the pavements are very uneven. This will be particularly challenging for anyone with mobility issues. On a positive note public transport to the capital Valetta is fairly close, the harbour is within walking distance and there are plenty of places to eat and drink.

Honestly My Best Ship in a Storm

My husband took ill while we were on a cruise. He was transported by ambulance to Mater Dei Hospital ER. He didn’t get a room until 2:30am. I booked for that day with no idea if they could get me in early so I could sleep because I had been up 24+ hours.
Although a room wasn’t readily available, someone checked out early. They got housekeeping in right away to clean. I was able to eat breakfast and get to my room and briefly sleep.
Being in a strange country, where I knew no one, I had to rely on kindness from strangers. The people at the front desk were more than kind. They were outstanding! I felt safe. The room was extremely clean and very comfortable.
Breakfast was $11.00/day. It was excellent. So many food choices!
And even better, was Bistro 77, the restaurant that was connected to their lobby.
We had been on our 1st cruise where the food was supposed to be “the best.” But that food couldn’t hold a candle to the food at Bistro 77.
I can’t thank the staff enough for their care. As it turns out, my husband was discharged after 2 days. He had a mini stroke. Mater Dei Hospital was extremely thorough.

Honestly by the 11th day I was part of the family. On my next visit, I will definitely stay here again. We enjoyed our stay here, it had everything we needed for a self catering holiday.
Its a short distance from the airport and easy to find. Well connected for buses which ran regularly.
We hired a car, parking all over malta is a nightmare but especially around this hotel, it was near a school and the university so we never attempted parking near the accommodation as there was never a space free. We found space approximately a 10 min walk away which suited us.
The hotel was fairly quiet, we were on the 10th floor and our only complaint about our whole time there was being woken up daily by people above in the pool area, presumably workers setting up for the day. They made lots of noise, moving things around on the concrete floor
which created sound right through into the bedroom we were in below. It wasn't a pleasant way to be woken up each morning.
We used the gym which was clean, well equipped, the rooftop pool was also a nice addition but we never used it.
The room was clean when we arrived and there's signs everywhere saying rooms are only cleaned after 8 days which we didn’t mind, they provide clean towels on request. The room was cleaned, and fresh bedding provided on day 8 but we left the next morning. We felt this was a little pointless for the housekeeping team having to do it all over again less than 24 hours later.
Overall we would stay here again, preferably on a lower floor but it was centrally located and provided a good base to explore Malta.

Staff went above and beyond to help us out. Any query was solved immediately without hesitation. They opened the restaurant early for us so that we could catch our flight - the chef and bartender were amazing -incredible food and exceptional customer service.
All receptionist were extremely helpful and made arrangements for us, helped with luggage, lets us use the facilities after checkout and made our entire stay enjoyable and stress free. Fantastic customer service all round!

Not sound proofed as stated. You can hear the other rooms around you. Even after being moved because of the noise we were put into room 601. Do not use this room it is next to the electrical room it makes so much noise you can't hear yourself talking. The restaurant is very expensive. If you are looking for a peaceful and quite hotel this is not it. The staff are nice but they are limited on what they can do.

Good place to stay not far from Valetta

A decent hotel within easy walking distance of Msida inlet, and about 4km to Valetta. Our room was huge, as was the bathroom. Fridge and simple cooking facilities provided, good sized table, but bed was very hard, and more towel rails would be better.

My apartment on the 1st floor had excellent facilities, very large accessible bathroom with walk-in shower. My only crticism of the bathroom is the lack of shelving. The towels were stored on the window ledge, which made it difficult to open the window without the towels falling to the floor. I loved the well- equipped kitchen area and large comfortable bed, although the actual duvet could have been bigger. The view from my window overlooked the court yard, which wasnt't great, however the size of the living area, and lighting, more than made up for this. There is a great gym on the lower floor and a pool on the top floor, which unfortunately for me, was too cold for use in February. Staff were great and I was very impressed by the hotel's attempt to facilitate recycling, i just wished that customers would make more effort to use this facility. The breakfast was adequate but had little choice for those of us who do not eat pork, consequently, my only source of protein was cold hard-boiled eggs!. I assume there is more variety during the summer months, with supply and demand ?. The staff member Arif was very accommodating and polite, I appreciated that. I enjoyed my time here and would stay again.

Great hotel and facilities. Only downside was breakfast was pretty thin on the morning i took it. On the final morning no-one was around and there were no bowls to eat from. I left after 5 minutes and gave up. Incredibly helpful staff, including Anita.

Very friendly staff, great location in a residential area, 10 minute-walk to lots of restaurants and bars on the Ta' Xbiex Marina Rd, restaurant in the lobby, a couple of \"family markets\" around the corner. Delicious and varied breakfast. The only thing I found uncomfortable was the living room couch, which was not long enough for me to stretch out. I would stay there again.

The staff were absolutely amazing, if we needed anything they sorted it, they were very polite and friendly and treated our young daughter like their friend. The aparthotel is in a great location with fitted aircon rooftop pool and bar. Everything was immaculate and we were even allowed to use facilities after our check out time. This is obviously a very well managed hotel. We will definitely return!

Unfortunately, I would not recommend this accommodation. Halfway through our stay the garbages in our room were overflowing. I was waiting for staff to come empty them, but noticed a sign indicating to take garbage to basement. I found this to be an odd thing to ask your guests to so. Following this we approached the front desk at 8am asking for replacement garbage bags and towels. We left and retirned to our room at 340pm with no towels or bags. We called the front desk and they assured someone was coming. After coming back from dinner at 9pm, these items still werent in our room. We went to the front desk and had to ask a third time, 14 hours later. No one offered to come collect our old towels. A day later we ran out of toilet paper and we had to call for this and waited over an hour. It felt very confusing to constantly be asking for simple amenities that are standard offerings at most (if not all) hotels.

I brought this up with the manager when checking out and he showed no concern and made no comment while pretending to riffle through papers on the desk, clearly trying to avoid the situation.

Aside from this, the coffee and tea in our room wasnt replenished once and the air conditioning did not work properly.

The rooms are cute, but the rest is quite disappointing.

Roof top pool, clean rooms, easy walking distance to Gzira or Sliema, full size fridge with freezer compartment and cooking facilities. We had amazing food at Bistro 77 (Thanks Hassan). The rest of the staff are amazing too, in particular Ana, Stefan, Faye, Anita, Bobby and Ashton. The staff gave us tips on where to go for days out and nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be going back again.

Lovely property down residential road. Clean, modern and comfortable. Staff are helpful and friendly. Location is ideal for transport links and within walking distance of Sliema. Excellent gastro pub opposite.

Great Hotel

Fantastic stay.Room fabulous with a great little balcony.Made good use of the roof top terrace enjoying the views of the area.Easy walk to bus stop or slightly longer stroll to the ferry for Valletta.Would highly recommend.

Lovely stay, apartment has everything you needed! Not a far walk away from the Marina, bars and restaurants and taxis are so easily accessible to everything too. Would happily stay again

One bedroom apartment with balcony overlooking Sliema bay.
Apartment had everything we required for a short break. Great rainforest shower. Don't have hotel breakfast. Terrible. Can recommend the little pub across the street for happy hour & good food. Bolt (app) taxi's are fantastic. Don't use the hotel shuttle. Twice as expensive.

The staff is very nice and helpful. I asked to change my first room and they did. Truly excellent staff.
Malta however is not great. The buses never come. You can wait an hour or more for a bus. It’s awful so ….
But the hotel staff was very kind

I stayed for 4 nights at the hotel and i was very pleased with my room which had a comfortable king sized bed. My room was well maintained and the hotel was also quiet which meant i was able to get a good nights sleep. The hotel receptionists Laura and Ashton were both very helpful and professional with assisting me with travel directions to places of interest and assisting me with booking a Taxi to the Airport.. Your assistance was much appreciated.
