I liked the location near the Baltic Sea. I was disappointed in the quality of the room furnishings; the beds were very uncomfortable and the shower/tub was weird-designed more for a spa or honeymoon suite. Also the hotel is popular with cruise ship tour groups which makes it difficult to enjoy the breakfast.

Nice hotel, friendly staff.

We were attending a figure skating competition at Skoda Ice Arena and the hotel is in the perfect location for it - 10 minutes walk or 3.5 euros in a taxi. Room was comfortable, my only criticism is the lack of tea making facilities - had to go downstairs every time I wanted a cuppa. Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was a bit random for me - fish fingers and steamed veg for example.. but there was always bread for toast and croissants, etc. Didn't use (or see) the spa so can't comment on it but I would have no qualms about returning to this hotel if we were back in Talllin again.

Clean & comfortable hotel but very little English spoken. Not particularly close to the old town but there is a bus stop outside the main entrance. Beware of taxi prices when taking a cab from the main bus terminal in the old town - they are much higher. Some of the locals can come across as quite miserable.

Perfect location

The perfect location for the Rocca al Mare Vana-aasta marathon. The start line of the marathon was just across the street! With a huge shopping center just around the corner where I could get food, all of my marathon needs were met.

Good hotel next to the Sea.

Good hotel close to the sea!
It had a SPA, but unfortunately I did not have the time to enjoy this.
The hotel was nice and neighborhood great where you can stroll along the side of the sea.
A few minutes walk there is a big shopping mall/center with a lot of restaurants, as well as shops.
Breakfast was more than ordinary with some good choices.
The room was ok, although a bit small.
WiFi was free and fast.

Very nice location, you can take a bus easily to the city center. Right across from the hotel is a beautiful boardwalk along the water which is very nice during the day and at night.

Nice location near Open-Air Museum

Very good restaurant - we had a nice dinner, good wine, and reasonable price.. Outside major city, but right next to the open-air museum, which is why we went there and stayed there. Nice room, but the aircon system wasn't good enough to cool the room despite moderate outside temps. The front desk provided a fan, which allowed us to open the window and bring in cool air, and saving the situation for a good night's sleep before our long trip back to the US the next day. Lovely views and nice walking path nearby. Breakfast was good, too! Very friendly, helpful staff.

Nice quiet area within walking distance to a beach

We enjoyed our stay very much. The zoo was only a few minutes walk from our hotel, and we could walk or catch the trolleybus to anywhere we wanted to go. Beautiful area.

Perfectly Acceptable Hotel

Good value. I was a little concerned about the distance from the town center however this was only between 6 to 8 Euro in a taxi as long as you get a trustworthy taxi. It was 7 Euros to the Airport. Ask the receptionist what is an acceptable charge for the journey before you go.

The Rocca Al Mare shopping center has a food court and is within 5-10 minutes walk if you dont want to go into town for a meal. There are also a couple of restaurants in the wierd looking glass building before the shopping center (you'll know the one I mean!)

The Open Air Museum is well within walking distance (watch out for mosquetos if you go!)

If you plan on sightseeing then I suggest using the CityTours bus as the blue line drops you off at the open air musem hence if you've already paid for a ticket to use all three lines (red, green and blue) you can save the taxi fare back to the hotel. And they say Yorkshire folk are tight for some reason... :-)

Buffet breakfast was included in the rate which I found a little limited as a vegetarian but I'm not going to be overly critical of the hotel for me being a fuss eater. They still served cereals, bread and cheeses.

The room was clean with new towels both days I stayed. The toilet was clean in appearance although would have benefited from some bleach as you could see some furry stuff growing in the water...

I was a little disappointed that access to the swimming pool was only 7.00am - 10.00am.

Overall I was pretty pleased with this hotel.

We stayed at the Rocca Al Mare for a week, disappointed with hotel. Rooms were basic with no tea/coffee making facilities. Room and general appearance was very clean. Staff very reserved and not really welcoming all bar one very helpful young man. Although there is a 24 hour reception, there was no bar was service after 10pm (this was only place to get a coffee/tea at night) Location was perfect for purpose of our visit with an excellent shopping mall close by.

Wonderful hotel in a beautiful setting.

Breakfast was especially good. A lot to eat and the selection was delightful...from light, fluffy eggs to pancakes (Swedish-style), there was something for every palette. The shower was also excellent. The walking trail just across the street was lovely too. Zoo nearby, the shopping center, the sea... Fun spot to stay.

Great place to stay, close to zoo.

Great hotel, a short tram/bus ride into the old town. The staff were extremely helpful and the addition of free spa use; pool, sauna & whirlpool was great.The restaurant food was excellent for the price and the fish soup was the best I have ever tasted. Located close to Tallin zoo and the Roc al Marre shopping centre, with easy parking right outside the hotel, this makes a great family alternative to the city centre.

Ylihintainen perushotelli hyvällä sijainnilla.

Aloitetaan hyvästä puolesta: hotellin sijainti on loistava, varsinkin jos kohteena ovat Tallinnan eläintarha ja Rocca al Mare kauppakeskus, molemmat sijaitsevat kävelymatkan päässä hotellilta.

Huoneet vanhahtavia, mutta siistejä. Huoneemme ovea sai poistuessa takoa kiinni useita kertoja, jotta sen sai lukkoon. Tästä kävimme heti ilmoittamassa respaan. Huoneen vaihto ei kuulemma onnistunut koska hotelli oli täyteen buukattu. Hotellin osalta asia jäi tähän...

Aamiainen ihan ok. Sillä kyllä pärjäsi, mutta mitään erikoista ei kannata odottaa.

\"Kylpyläosastolla\" oli ihan perushyvä uima-allas, sekä noin kolmelle hengelle sopiva poreamme, joka sekin oli kokonaan pois käytöstä.
Puhuhuoneiden kaapeista oli lukot poistettu, joten kaikki tavarat piti jättää huoneeseen. Kylpytakkeja ei huoneissa ollut.

Yhteenvetona: hyvällä sijainnilla oleva perushotelli. Mukavuuksiinsa ja tasoonsa nähden ylihinnoiteltu.

Luonnon ja ostosten lähellä oleva hotelli.

Mukava hotelli joka sijaitsee Rocca Al Maren ostoskeskuksen lähellä. Lisäksi aivan rannan vierellä ja meren rantaa kulkee todella hyvät kävelypolut jotka vievät lintutornille, sekä muutama vaelluspolku joka kulkee aivan meren vieressä länteen mennessä.

Yövyimme kaksi yötä, sijainti hyvä ajatellen ostoskeskusta ja vierailua eläintarhaan. Plussaa siisteydestä, uima-altaasta , alueen rauhallisuudesta ja mukavista sängyistä. Huoneissa toimiva hyvä ilmastointi ja pihalla ilmainen pysäköinti. Miinusta melko kielitaidottomasta henkilökunnasta ja heitä oli paikalla vähän, illalla yksi. Asiakaspalveluinnokkuus kehnoa . Molemmista huoneistamme puuttui lisäsängyt, respan nuori tyttö toimitti ne sitten parhaansa mukaan miten kerkesi muilta töiltään. Aamupala melko niukka. Toiveet huonejärjestelyistä kannattaa etukäteen mainita, meillä huoneet eri kerroksissa.

Hotelli aika vanha, mutta huoneet perus-siistit ja siivotut. Aamiainen ok.
Huomattavaa on se ettei iltapäivällä pääse uimaan huoneen iltaan, ainoastaan aamu-uinti kuuluu huoneen hintaan.
Parkkipaikkoja löytyy hyvin ja iso ostoskeskus on noin 300 metrin päästä hotellista.

Huone oli hyvin pölynen.
Pieni ikkuna missä ei mitä verhoa ja en pystynyt nukkumaan kun luonon valo tuli heti aamulla. Ravintolassa tarjoilija puhuu vain venejä eikä viroa, itse en osa englantia. Henkilökunta puhuvat huonosti viroa ja he edellyttävät että puhun englantia. Tuli fiilis että olen venejällä eikä virossa.

Tuba haises ebameeldivalt. Vannitoa lambil olid pirnid ilma kaitsekuplita. Klienditeenindus ei tule toime isegi siis kui nendega eesti keeles rääkida, oli vastuvôtus küll ÜKS väga tore teenindaja ja sai ka eesti keelega hakkama. Henkilökunta ystävällinen ja avualias. Opastivat oikotien jäähallille, kun arvaili, että olimme tulleet luistelukilpailuihin. Huoneet perustasoa mutta viihtyisät Toisena yönä nukkumista häiritsi kova myrsky ja ikkunoihin hakannut sade. Aamupalalla saa päivän käyntiin, vaikka ei ole mitenkään omaperäinen. Good hotel if you don't desire Tallinn nightlife.

Everything was ok. Although it's not close to the city center, but since Rocca Al Mare shopping Center besides the hotel, you will not acutally need anything in case of going shopping. But if you desire to spend a nightlife in Tallinn, then perhaps you need to choose a hotel in or close to the city center.

My only small complaint about the hotel is the air condition system in my room. Although it seemed to work, I felt the room was not getting cooled enough while the windows were closed of course.

The hotel itself anyways was really nice, well equipped, at a quite location and close to the some beaches. I didn't try the spa due to limited time. The breakfast was really good. I would spend my night there again :-)

Hotel dość daleko od centrum miasta, ale ok. 5 minut od centrum handlowego. Osoby pracujące na recepcji komunikatywne. Parking mały. W Hotelu jest basen i sauna, ale dostępne bezpłatnie dla gości tylko rano (w porach śniadania - nie wiem czy jest to do wyboru - śniadanie albo basen / sauna???), a w pozostałych godzinach za opłatą..., a (CZTEROGWIAZDKOWY!!!) hotel nie zapewnia szlafroków ani kapci żeby można było normalnie z tego skorzystać. Pokoje czyste. Łóżka dość wygodne, ale dostawki makabryczne, zapadnięte pośrodku - śpi się jak w hamaku (wyglądało to trochę jak zużyte łóżko polowe). Śniadanie skromne, mało urozmaicone, kawa niesmaczna, soki z kartonu - jak na hotel czterogwiazdkowy to poniżej oczekiwań. Ogólnie hotel zasługuje na maksymalnie 2,5 gwiazdki...

Sijainti esimerkiksi matkalla Pärnuun täydellinen. Prisma heti nurkilla ja isolle tielle pääsee ripeästi. Saatiin jättikokoinen huone normaalin hinnalla, mikä oli kiva plussa. Alakerran uima-altaassa kylmä vesi ja poreamme todella törkyinen ja limainen.

Fantastic hotell and nice sourundings! Room and bed good, and comfortable, easy to park etc. BUT the Restaurant is the worst i ever have been to. First sunady evning one yonger boy in dirty trousers and dredlocks in hear served. He opend the vine and pored the glas full and put down and whent to the bar and find on chair and start working on facebook chat. Second night same procedium and then some outher new girl that did not know anything, third night total kaos when i got starter and main course in same time... and after that one bill direct on table and not even one thinking to ask if me like guest whanted some dessert. Food first day with some prefabricated saslook ..slimy. Day 2 some cal smoked salmon to bee entre course, and it whas warm and glomy. Third day duck breast like cheving gum... So please all clients that go there, Room and hotel OK but restoran total disaster!! Also bevare of if you done prepayment thru Hotels.com they dont take notice about this , so you could bee demanded already on arrival to pay once time more. One note in this that my stay thru Hotels;com whas price three nights a bit over 200 euros, In hotel on arrival 172 euros.... so look out, bee carefull someone is doing tricks here.

Herkkäunisen ei kannata majoittua meren puolelle, koska liikenteen äänet kuuluu huoneeseen. Varsinaista SPA-osastoa ei ole, ainoastaan yksi uima-allas, mutta hoitovalikoima on kattava. Junior sviitti on lähinnä huone jossa on poreamme, mutta ihan siisti huone. Siisti perushotelli, ja aamiainen ihan ok. Ulkoilijalle loistava sijainti ja kauppakeskus lähellä.

Poolen kall, högst 20 grader. Gratis för gäster 4 timmar på fm. Kvällstid kostade det 8 euro.... Det fanns en bastu. Skulle inte kalla detta hotell för ett SPA-hotell

Inget fullständigt SPA-hotell.

Otroligt besviken på detta hotell. Står att det är ett fullständigt SPA-hotell, men dom \"glömmer\" att nämna att dom har någon där på hotellet, utan man må boka och då får man se om det finns möjlighet för dom att göra behandlingen, vi ville boka 6 behandlingar, fick 3. Poolen står det skulle vara 25 grader i, snarare 13 grader. Jazuzzin var väldigt gammal och mycket som inte fungerade. Frukosten var inte så mycket att hurra för.
Hotellet var fräscht, förutom blommor och hyllor som var väldigt dammiga.
Men det var tråkigt att komma på ett \"SPA\"-hotell och vi var mest ute i Tallin för SPAet inte var nått att orda om..Dock var de 3 behandlingar vi fick bra, men det är inte hotellets förtjänst utan de som gjorde behandlingarna.
Wifiet var inge bra heller.

Tallinnan hotelleista missä olen käynyt niin erittäin hyvä !
Tulen käyttmään samaa hotellia toistenkin.

Bra läge lugnt nära köpcentra m rastauranger o annat saku areena ,rum ok tyst o lugnt .Nära havet ( måste vara fint sommartid) poolen bra men kall bubbelpool . OTROLIGT god mat på hotellet !!! bra att få låna vattenkokare till rummet . Önskar personal kunde bättre engelska dock .I det stora hela nöjd bodde där 4 nätter

Expérience malheureuse en estonie

visite de tallinn sur 2 jours en utilisant les bus proches de l'hotel 1 journée de marche promenade dans les bois environnants et en bord de mer et une autre journée pour visiter le musée plein air à environ 800 mètres à pied c'est le seul point véritablement positif la localisation pour nous au calme et proche des transports. Pour le reste c'est médiocre avec un accueil très froid un ménage minimaliste dans les chambres notamment les toilettes une literie de 10 ans minimum une piscine payante la journée peu de personnes maitrisant l'anglais ce qui crée des tensions quant aux commandes passées au restaurant très compliqué pour avoir une deuxième carte d'accès aux chambres où il a fallu batailler et trouver un responsable... Point positif malgré l'inexpérience des serveuses et serveurs la qualité des plats au restaurant et le petit déjeuner plutôt bien

Avainkortit olivat päässeet loppumaan. Aina kun halusimme päästä huoneeseen, vastaanottovirkailija juoksi 4. kerrokseen avaamaan huoneemme oven, koska hissi on niin ahdas, ettei siihen hyvin mahdu kahta enempää. Taisi olla viisi tai kuusi vuotta viimekäynnistä. Valittavasti täytyy sanoa, että

Mukiinmenevä hotelli

Toimiva hotelli. Saunan pukuhuonetilat eivät loppuun asti mietittyjä ja aamiainen melko suppea ja kaipaisi salaatteja. Muuten ok.

No reis jäi lühikeseks kui lapsele tuppa toodud voodi oli esiteks puruks ,teiseks polnud seal madratsit vaid tekk madratsiks üritatud teha ja kui see ära võetud sai siis seal all oli kellegi teise lapse väljaheide konkreetselt. Saime vähemalt raha kohe tagasi ja lahkusime sealt.

Ilmastointi ei toiminut. Haittasi nukkumista. Kylpylä osaston sauna oli ilmeisesti ollu jopa koko yön päällä, ei sekään kovin hieno kokemus. ..

Hôtel pas trop loin du centre mais tout à fait moy

Piscine simple et jacuzzi vieux petit et peu puissant. Sauna pas assez chaud. Piscine et sauna gratuits uniquement le matin. Petit déjeuner tout à fait ordinaire. Navette pour l hôtel inexistante contrairement à la description. Personnel peu concerné globalement.

Nice location but could use renovation

The hotel has a nice location and the room had sea view which was very nice. The hotel itself looks already a bit old, could use a renovation; the pool area in the cellar did not look as nice as in the promo photographs (dark, no natural light) and only accesible free of charge in the morning for hotel guests. The breakfast room was very small and overcrowded, we had to wait to get a seat. The restaurant only serves pizza.. Service was friendly but when we asked if we could have a second key card (which is quite usual in a room for 2 persons) they said this was not possible, sorry, these are the rules in the hotel and no change was possible. In general, we chose the hotel because of the location and this was fine, but we had hoped to chill out a bit in the swimming pool area but this was not very inviting. WLAN was free of charge and fast.
