Pros:
First, this shouldn’t be a surprise but the hotel is well located, a minute walk from the arc de triomphe and to a subway station. It doesn’t get better than this for a central location.
Second, the area is safe, there are many food options around even though restaurants could be overpriced.
The bed was fine, but the blackout curtains were simply amazing: Seriously, if you leave them closed, you won’t know whether it’s 2 am or noon.
The staff was also very friendly and helpful to us.

Cons:
Our room (2 adults) was very small. Even for a single person I would have found the room to be on the smaller side.

Great Localization

Localization is great, very close to the Arc de Triomphe, close to metro station, close to different restaurants, markets and stores. The staff was gentle and speaking different languages what helps for tourists coming from different places from the world. The room is very small, depending on how much luggage you have there is not enough space and the bed was not the most comfortable I´ve ever tried, but in general as we were out for almost all day long this had not became a big issue.

Poor concierge and no porter service

Concierge doesn’t have knowledge about the carpark charges in front of the hotel. And he doesn’t have an interest to learn it. Instead he told me to find it out and tell him afterwards. No help is given to handle luggages into the hotel and into the room

fantastic location. very clean modern hotel. fabulous breakfast and helpful staff. but the room is small and the bathroom is way way too small. also the internet was slow you can use it to check emails but if you are on business trip trying to connect to your workplace via vpn to check on few thing you will be frustrated.

Great location, can be a bit noisy.

Location was good, within walking distance of a lot of attractions. Staff were very friendly and helpful (unlike a lot of the locals). Downside was that there wasn't much sound privacy between the rooms and hearing the drunks next door come home at 4am and start vomiting and banging doors at 5am wasn't the best.

A small but awesome hotel!

We stayed from July 21 to July 24 and it was warm in Paris. The hotel room was small, but very comfortable. We had the king size bed and it was a true king-size bed and very comfortable. The room had great A/C and the overall service itself was great. The front desk, either day or night (we checked in at 11 pm, just call them ahead of time to ensure that they know that are coming in late), was awesome. We had breakfast all three days there and its basically an all-you-can-eat for 19 euros a person. Well spent if you plan on fueling up before heading out and exploring the city. There are a lot of great restaurants right at the door step, with one, \"Le General\", right next door. The metro is one block away, along with a McDonald's, Burger King, and a Starbucks, all literally 100 feet way from you, on Wagram Avenue, along with the Arc de Triomphe. This little hotel basically has it all and I will stay there again in a heartbeat. A great stay...don't miss out!

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Room wasn't very clean but comfortable, there was a lot of dust, I kept sneezing during the whole stay. Internet, location and amenities were good, would recommend to anyone going to Paris.

Nothing positively unique about this property however, it was very disappointing that I got a call that they cannot clean the room after 2PM. they wanted me to leave the room so that I clean it or else they will not clean till the next day knowing that I spent the whole before noon outside my room and put a note requesting them to clean the room

Great view and location but very noisy, paper thin walls, audible voices from hallway, housekeeping average - rubbish bin not emptied , bench/table not wiped down. Vacuum at 8:30 am Monday morning when Hotel almost empty- seriously? Wouldn’t recommend as Casino only $50 a night more - expensive for this accommodation- suit family or backpackers - not suitable if you have work to do or a late night.
Won’t be back.

Short break to Paris

I liked the hotel location as it was just of the Arc de Triomphe, the streets were always busy. The staff were very friendly and the room cleanliness was fine also. My only criticism is that we were based on the first floor and in the morning you got a smell of sewage coming through the air conditioning. This meant we had to turn this off until the afternoon when the smell had gone.

Nice central Paris hotel - but breakfast issue...

Hotel was nicely located, modern, quiet, clean andvwelcoming and breakfast was good.

However, although I booked 2 identical rooms at the same time, at the same price (both of which should have come with breakfast) I was told on check in that I had (somehow) only booked breakfast for one room! - thankfully I had printed out the itemised booking confirmation and was able to get the second breakfast \"added\" - at €18 for breakfast for 2 nights this would have been a relatively expensive addition.

Brilliant stay & area.

Absolutely brilliant! Really enjoyed our 3 night stay here. Staff were lovely and helpful when checking in and out, always friendly when we walked past and made us feel very welcome. Beds were very comfortable and room size was perfect for us, we didn’t spend a lot of time in there as we were out most of the time, but overall it was a lovely hotel to stay at and would definetly stay again!

Perfect for a short business stay in Paris

Great little hotel in a really central locations providing excellent value for money. Room a little on the small side, but fine if only using it to sleep in. Facilities very minimal (no restaurant or bar) but plenty of places within a few metres to eat or drink, so again not really necessary.

We enjoyed our stay at the Mercure. It is in an ideal location, close to a number of popular sights, restaurants, shopping, markets, bakeries, etc. The reception staff was proficient in English, friendly and helpful in responding to our questions The housekeeping was excellent throughout our week-long stay.

Loved the location just a few minutes walk from the Arc de Triomphe. Reception staff were excellent...special mention to Michaela who was so kind and answered many questions for us. The rooms were immaculate but very poor lighting in the bedroom. Lighting in bathroom was good. Bathroom compact but good shower.

The hotel is perfect location for getting around Paris and is only a 2 minute walk from the l'arc de triomphe and 1 minute from the metro which is so easy to use and get around on.

Great hotel in a great location.

This is a great small hotel near L'Arc de Triomphe. It's less than two blocks from a metro station and there are several restaurants and places to grab a quick breakfast within a block or two. The hotel is small and the rooms are small, as is usual in a European hotel, but the rooms are updated, modern, very clean, with very comfortable beds and well-equipped bathrooms. Great shower! Very comfortable stay and great value.

Very friendly and helpful reception staff. Great location. Room small but we weren't in it much. The one downside was that the shower door didn't close in an otherwise lovely bathroom so the floor was swimming in water after every shower and we had to mop it up with our towels!

the receptionist was very helpful and very friendly. She helped us get a taxi to drive us to the airport.
The room is small but I guess that is how the hotel rooms are in Paris.
The hotel is very accessible to the subway. Very near the Triumph de Arc and shopping!
Will certainly stay this hotel again next time I visit Paris !

The hotel was lovely to stay in. If you're looking for a spacious room this is not for you. The room was very small but was workable for us. The bathroom was fabulous and very clean. The shower and bath were a highlight for me. We stayed on the bottom floor and could hear the metro throughout but once asleep you are not woken up by the sound. The hotel is very close to scenery and was situatied well. Very friendly and helpful staff and would happily stay here again no problem!

The hotel location is great with short stroll to Champs -Elysees and metro station. Other bonuses are LIDO De Paris and the airport bus station are within easy stroll(around 10 mins).
The hotel staff are friendly especially Nathalie who speaks English well and recommended few of the local eateries and places of interest. We were able to stray away from tourist spots!
We had a late check out and left our luggage at their storage facility to join the local for long late lunch before we headed to the airport for our 10pm flight.
The room is smallish but comfy.

The hotel is more than 4 stars . Modern , very clean and comfortable . The situation is very close to the arc and champs elysee , close to hop on hop off . Many restaurants and coffee shops around . I loved my stay in Paris and definitely will stay again at this hotel .

Wonderful hotel!

The hotel was absolutely fantastic! The staff were so friendly and helpful. The rooms were a nice size for two people and very comfortable. It is also in a great location. Avenue Les Champs-Élysées was a few minutes walk away along with a number of other great attraction. When we go back to Paris, we will definitely be staying at the Mercure Arc de Triomphe again!

A wonderful gem

My husband & I traveled overseas and decided to stay here based on reviews. What a great choice. The hotel was on a quiet Avenue but was close enough to all sites and food choices. The room was smaller than what we expect in the States but that is true through out Europe. The beds are very comfortable and the room and linens were very clean. The shower and bathroom were great as well. The staff was very helpful and spoke English pretty well. If you want a clean safe hotel, this is the place.

Paris- Re-visited

Our stay is for a night as our purpose in dropping by to Paris is for shopping. The place is a walking distance to champs Elysse and train station going to the Valee Village outlet and it serves us well. Due to limited time, the tuktuk bike has provided the services in re-visiting the Eiffel tower at night to see the difference at daytime. It is wonderful.
