I didn’t know that there was a laundry service. The location of the hotel is perfect! walkable to 911 memorial, World Trade Center, subway stations, Battery Park where we could get tickets and ride a Ferry to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. It is also walkable to the Brooklyn Bridge walkway!
The room is not carpeted which I really liked because I didn’t have to experience a headache due to unpleasant smell of uncleaned carpet. Upon checking in, there was no instructions or anything about amenities, wifi, etc. I was just asked to pay then I was issued a key card and that’s it! Inside the room, all you can see is a fridge, water heater(for coffee or tea), microwave oven, a wooden dining table with 1 chair, a TV, a side table with drawers, telephone. A pair of slippers,too.
The neighbors were noisy on our floor (4th) unmindful of the late time!
Bath towels were changed every single day.
I might stay there again for only one reason-walkable to many shops and sightseeing places!

Been here over 5 times but this will be the last I’m so disappointed, staff stole from me rooms were dirty and smelled like cigarettes. Not only that there was no heat hot water nor was the toilet even able to flush regardless of how many times i complained to the front desk about my health conditions being pregnant and having severe asthma it was ignored , i used to love this hotel but this is definitely my last time definitely disappointing especially the way management handled the situation of their employees stealing from customers

Love the location and had a great visit last time but not this one. The tiny room was freezing cold - the heat didn’t work properly and even though it was supposedly set to 86, it was 55 degrees for our entire stay. The sink had issues draining, we didn’t have hot water, we weren’t provided with enough towels, and the freezing cold floor really needs a rug or something. The patio was leaking cold air inside and really needs sealed off in the winter. Very disappointed in my stay - will NOT return.

So happy I found this hotel - pricing was very reasonable and hotel was at a great location in the financial district. Room was spacious and clean. One thing missing was plates/cups/knives/forks in the kitchen which I thought was strange as there was a microwave and a fridge.

The only real Con is that there is barely a table to sit and eat in the room but that's ok because theres so much good food in the area. You should just eat out.

The location was great, we had to request a room change due to bugs in the room. The staff was friendly, but require required three different follow ups to ensure we got a room change. A lot of construction, with this noise routinely waking us up around 5 AM.

Came in for a quick visit, the hotel was nice and clean and everything worked as it should have. We arrived earlier than check in and allowed us to drop our bags at the lobby so we could grab a bite to eat. Will be staying again in the near future.

The room was really cold, the patio door let through a lot of cold wind and the bed was right next to it. The aircon unit didnt blow much warm air and was too loud to leave on overnight, so overall we were really cold overnight.
The annexe kitchen doesnt come with any cutlery or plates, the two black plastic bowls were in the cupboard dirty. The room was supposed to be with a City view but faced patio and was next to renovation site so it was loud from 8am. Overall, we wouldn't stay again, but the location was ok.

The staff was friendly and helpful, this hotel is in a great location (subway entrances right outside the hotel, 9/11 museum a 5-minute walk, a great pizza place and bakery right around the corner, along with a 7- eleven within a 3-minute walk. The reason for the three stars is due to the actual stay. The room had no desk or dresser as shown in photos. The floors in every room are hard concrete (bring slippers). The major issue was the constant noise, housekeeping knocking on the door at 8pm to ask if we needed towels or had any garbage and then could hear the house keeping cart on our floor and one above us rolling around until after midnight. The walls are so thin we could hear everything in the next room over, the tv, phone calls, shower, alarms etc. I don't recommend a \"city view\" as all you hear all night is noise, the subway, people yelling, homeless digging through trash out front, sirens, honking, etc. We hardly got any sleep the entire weekend. I'm all for weed but the elevator and hallways reeked all day and night. The ac unit was all duct taped with very little poor insulation around the side gaps so we had no choice but to run the heat constant otherwise the room would get so cold. You get what you pay for, if you need a cheap spot to just lay your head and see the city it's okay but the noise was just too much for us. I recommend not having housekeeping cleaning until after midnight every night.

The hotel itself is nice. Smelled clean. Comfortable bed. BUT, we had booked last minute due to a flight cancellation. Upon arrival we were checked in, dropped our luggage and headed out to dinner. When we returned, the front desk agent notified us that Expedia had not yet paid them, to which I responded with proof they had taken the funds and the booking was live, I suggested she contact them to verify. An hour later she was cAlling my room, and at 10:30 pm she and two separate gentleman were banging at my door demanding payment. Completely unsettling and unprofessional. Mary made our stay extremely uncomfortable, I gave her the additional payment paying double for the room, just to be left alone. The next morning Mary stood her ground saying Expedia had not paid her- as soon as I reached out to Expedia, I got a return call from Mary stating she was sorry for the inconveniences that she had received the process payment from Expedia and would be refunding the additional fee. Good LORD! I will not return.

I was pleasantly surprised by this 2 star hotel. I had only stayed at 3 and above. For a hotel room at this price point, I thought it was a great find. It’s down by the World Trade Center which is nice if you want to explore that part of New York, but it’s a bit out of the way for mid- and uptown. BUT there’s a subway station right in front of the hotel. Plus there’s a really nice 24-hour deli right next door. The staff was super friendly. I used to always stay at the New Yorker, but this may be my new place to stay for my random trips to NYC.

Needed an affordable hotel near the conference and discovered this one. It's right next to the Courtyard Marriott and less than 60 steps to the WTC.

If this was the cheapest option I would understand, however it was $250 per night! Price should be $100 per night.

The floors in the room wwere stone and slippery, very dangerous. Hard to get around in the room. TV use was not viable.

The hotel is perfectly centered in the Financial District, steps away from restaurants and shopping including the Oculus at the World Trade Center complex. The hotel offered secure keycard entrance. There are two subway stations right on the corner and a few more within walking distance. The only thing was there was construction going on( not the hotels fault, it was an adjacent project) and they kicked off early, like 7 am, so there was no sleeping in. However it did get me up and running to daily adventures! Any rooms adjoining the back side would more than likely be close to the racket. The work wasn’t happening on the weekends so a bit more quiet. I’d give the place an 8/10 rating and the people were very friendly and helpful.

Good value, good area, safe for a solo female traveler with some late night and early morning walks. Staffed subway station on the block (line 1, Rector St.). The actual room could be improved: leaky shower pan, cracked outlets.

Not a Real Hotel – Slanted Floors and Poor Setup
This is by far the worst place I’ve ever stayed. It shouldn’t even be called a hotel — it feels like an abandoned building that’s been hastily converted into one. The biggest issue is that the room floor isn’t even flat; it’s visibly tilted, and the bed slopes at nearly a 30-degree angle. There’s no carpet or tile — just bare concrete. I can adjust to many things, but a slanted floor is unacceptable.
What’s worse is that when I asked for a different room, the staff said “every room in our hotel is like this.” That says it all. This feels like a complete scam — a run-down property marketed as a hotel to unsuspecting guests. Expedia and Hotels.com should seriously reconsider listing this place.

Loved the area. Hotel was simple enough with limited amenities. My room was fully cleaned with trash on the porch and only one towel. Took a while to get more and the staff wasn’t the most helpful.

Tribeca Hotel FiDi is completely adequate. The check-in process can get a little backed up, so pack your patience. You may also wish to bring a long an absorbent towel, because the ones provided are adequate, but not thirsty.

The room was spacious and clean, but the water pressure in the shower was really weak and the hotel lacked double glass windows and being in a very busy and noisy location, it was hard to sleep at night, too much noise in the street and in the adjacent rooms. The location is great though, next to metro station and walking distance to attractions and good food.

The only good thing about this place is to stop. They are very kind. This was the former King’s College dormitory and that’s what it feels like. Very poor sheets and the doors do not shut correctly so you have to slam then We noticed everyone on our floor at this condition. Low quality for the price. There are many other better hotels in the financial district neighborhood to choose from.

It was close to everything in lower Manhattan. Close to all the Ferries and sites as well as the subway. The room didn’t look or feel clean. Concrete floors were sticky. The staff were helpful. I would not stay here again for the price and location.

Great location to check out the Battery and statue of Liberty. Also walking distance to Brooklyn Bridge. Room was decent size. Bathroom super slippery and no bath mat so wouldn't be suitable for anyone elderly or infirm.

I booked for two people. There was one towel and one wash cloth in the room- had to ask twice for more linens. The walls are very thin. We could hear the party across the hall from us all night long. The rooms are described on the website as luxurious. They are far from that! However, the bathroom and bed were clean. The cement floors, the cabinets and closet door were in rough shape.
