Clean and paint your rooms. The view is excellent. Pool party was nice. Lobby is remodeled. The rooms have declined severely. I would pay $150 more per night for remodeled rooms. Its a shame because this hotel was a go to for us 7 years ago.

Bed was hard as a rock. Overnight parking is too expensive. Most of the valets are rude and don’t help with bags. Nice little pool scene with a good mix of people and views. Can get loud and raunchy on the weekends. I feel it’s a decent price and you can get a pretty decent room with a good view of the bay. I rated this hotel higher for the years we been coming here but wife and I are approaching 40 and we have experienced more establishments to compare this to. Not sure if we will return next go around.

Most of the hotel staff is friendly and accommodating. Pool area is beautiful. The rooms and upkeep of the property really needs work and ASAP! They are not cleaning these rooms good and the fact I had to place so many calls for housekeeping really discouraged me from staying here again.

As we arrived, not a single person came to help us with bags.
The room we booked was not the one advertised and when asked to change, they said no other rooms available.
Bathroom had no working dispensers for shampoo or body wash.

the restaurant was nice though. however twice, when we flagged a waitor down, they said it wasnt their table and arent allowed to serve us. just really odd customer service..

While the rooms looked a little run-down, the restaurant and pool area had a great vibe. I wish the room decor was more consistent with the hotel lobby. We stayed in the penthouse, and the furniture looked quite old.

If you enjoy old, dirty, poorly maintained rooms that feature used child swimsuits (and you don’t have children) with loud staff who stand around instead of assisting you and paying a premium for it, the Mondrian is spot for you! Slow service, stingy with towels, and rundown. Very disappointing. They took $300 off the bill, but no other accommodations for the conditions. Enjoy :)

This place was excellent, the location is perfectly centered next to Southpoint and Lincoln Avenue, along with Whole Foods right across the street. Everything was fantastic other than the 3 day fire alarm, that was miserable 3 out of the 10 days I stayed. I wish I was informed before.

The floor in the bedroom was dirty we also booked a king room but the bed was not a king.

The bathroom was not well set out with the toilet so close to the shower and nowhere to hang towels.

Our room was very dated and not well maintained. Power points were hard to find and most were not working, with no USB points. Curtains didn't really block out light due to no pelmet and gaps.
The bathroom was disturbingly unclean with the floor tiles very very grotty. The shower required gymnastics to enter as the door was next to toilet.
There were coffee facilities but they were hidden and very hard to find... perhaps relocate to tge kitchen bench for ease of use!
In the pool area, there were a lot of staff standing around doing nothing, and many tables were left unclean. Towels were not removed from lounge chairs, so very difficult to determine if any were free to use.
There was not a lot of water provided.
Location is okay but not vibrant like South Beach.

Hi - When we arrived our room was not ready and we had to wait until 4:30 - was supposed to be ready at 4:00 pm. The room was not clean. The tv must have been broken and it was replaced with a 24 inch tv. It was old and not clean. Would not recommend staying here.

I booked a suite with a balcony with a city view, upgraded to the bay view… but without my consent, Claudia at the front desk moved me to a 1BR instead of the studio… so when I checked out the price was like $300 different than what she quoted and they would not honor what Claudia initially quoted me. Ended up paying $1300 for 2 nights!!!

The hotel rooms are old and not toughly cleaned. The bathroom in the room smelled mildewed and black mold was in the corners of the shower. The hallways of the hotel smelled of cleaning agents and chlorine. The pool area is the best!

The only downfall with this hotel is a $200 per night security deposit. I feel like that’s a little steep for long stays. I’ve stayed in other Miami hotels none charge $200 per day! The money is refundable but that’s not the point.

Food was off oysters ddnt have any oysters on the shell for the price was not worth it. Drinks were watered down bill came up to about 700 plus and was not worth the coins. Overall the stay was ok pool and scenery that’s it.

Everything was good, the only things I would suggest would be to upgrade the bathrooms a little bit and to have the resort have a night life.

Example- silent party with headphones, comedy night , sip and chat things that won’t be too disturbing to other that don’t like noise. It will give the guest that don’t like to leave the resort something to look forward to on certain nights or rainy nights.

Mini bar was only ok nothing special
There is no lounge or public mingling area upon entry to property
There is a dark circular bar where I didn’t see anybody perched there ever .everyone is outside of course
But the Mondrian lacks a warm welcome vibe as the entrance is so dark and the main reception desk is awkwardly located along a wall .. it feels like they tried to go full -minimalist but failed.

Nice hotel on the harbor side. Used to be condos so the rooms are nice and big. Staff was very friendly, great location. a bit of construction near the pool deck but not bothersome. The pool doesnt get sun until 11-12:00. Bay side rooms are great however you can hear the noise from the bar and restaurant at night.

This is my 3rd time staying here my family likes the view but it’s not worth it AT ALL!!!! I have money and I spend money but this place is not worth the aggravation and the rudeness! Ive stayed at this place 3 times now amd all 3 times something was wrong. This last stay HORRIBLE! My daughter and I were grossed out my sheets thats were wasbed and put back on the bed thst was full of bloos stains!!! Big brown circles covering the entire sheet. The fact that they act like it was no big deal .....oh we'll just take off a couple of resort fees

the room on the penthouse floor had a beautiful view , but there were two closets , one was locked the other had a large vent that took away all the space to hang clothes , there were no dressers in the room so my clothes were left in the suitcase . also the bed was dropped on the floor on a platform , anyone with back pain or disabled as I am cant even sleep there

The Mondrian had all the appearances of a great place to stay for a weekend in the sun, but the devil is in the details. Checking in on a Fri, my room wasn't serviced until late afternoon on Sun. There was no body wash in the shower, though a space for one, so I used a bar soap. Then when I did get the servicing late Sun, a bottle with a very small amount was left in my bathroom but not mounted nor able to be mounted in my shower. There were smokers around the pool, and the smoking rules were not enforced. Yet any attempt to bring simply a water bottle to the pool was thwarted. The prices for the cabanas were very high, and thus many were unused. I would love to have used one but wasn't going to spend 400-500/day. The food at the restaurant was pretty decent but overpriced. Staff was generally pleasand and helpful, though name tags were not worn consistently, hence I can't really give them any shoutouts. One bright spot was the fact they provided free sunscreen at the bar, a lovely scented one at that.

I’ve had a bad experience as I was charged twice for the deposit! The money left my account and the reception staff asked me to pay again as the payment was pending, however they pre-authorised the payment! I checked in on the 21st March 2026! I still haven’t received the funds back by 02nd April 2026! The room was dirty when I checked in, I requested to be cleaned, they cleaned on the second day, but the floors were never mopped properly throughout my stay and dust was not cleaned properly! I stayed for 8 nights and I have been told that they clean the room every 3 days! In 8 days my room was cleaned twice plus one time the second day correction! I was reimbursed for some of the resort fee, however the inconvenience of still waiting for my money back is not a great experience! The staff was kind enough to let me check out at 12:30pm instead of 11am.

Room was filthy- as if the toilet wasn't cleaned for ages. Staff was nice enough to change to an upgraded room when cleanliness was brought up. Even the upgraded room wasn't "clean" by acceptable standards. This Mondrian is very different than the one I stayed at years ago. It was the cheapest option of "nice places" in Miami Beach- I guess it just shouldn't be considered a "nice place" anymore. It's a shame- used to be good.

Very disappointing trip. Physical plant needs an upgrade. No amenities in the room not even a shower cap or a bar of soap. So many rules. Enforced for us for example no water bottles allowed at the pool. But smoking was not allowed however people who were smoking cigarettes by the pool nothing was said to them. I communicated this to Charlotte the AI Concierge and she never responded.

One of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had.

I mistakenly booked the wrong date and immediately reached out—both directly and through Expedia —to request a simple cancellation or date change. I even made a new reservation for the correct dates, yet the hotel made zero effort to assist.

No reply. No acknowledgment. Nothing.

For a hotel that presents itself as upscale, this level of disregard is unacceptable. I would seriously reconsider staying here based on how poorly they handle even the simplest customer requests.

Property was pretty nice. Only issue was the cleanliness of the room. There was hair in the shower and sink. And toilet was dirty. Floors looked like they hadn’t been mopped and Carpet was not vacuumed. The shower knob was loose and came off the last day of our stay.

This hotel does not offer daily housekeeping and only on the third day of your stay. Garbage was not even cleared out. Floors were all crumbs and not vacuumed when we checked in.

Stayed at the Mondrian South Beach recently. When we first got there, we had to switch rooms because the couch had stains and the room had some damage. The second room honestly wasn’t much better.

Other than that, the hotel itself is really nice. The property was clean, and the staff was super accommodating and easy to deal with, which I appreciated.

It seems like the units are individually owned, so I guess the condition depends on who owns it and how well they keep it up. Overall, decent stay, just wish the room quality matched how nice the rest of the place is.

The hotel building itself is fine, and the staff are great—especially the valet parking team. However, I was charged an unexpected $100 daily fee for “services,” which included $50 for parking and $50 for pool usage. This felt extremely unfair, as I would never have agreed to pay these charges had I known in advance. Unfortunately, due to this, I will not be using this hotel again.

The property itself feels outdated and could definitely use some upgrades. The staff was just okay—there was little to no acknowledgment as a guest unless I initiated conversation or needed assistance, which didn’t feel very welcoming.

The room was not properly maintained. It didn’t feel tidy upon arrival, and the shower looked like it hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned. I also requested housekeeping during my 3-day stay, but was informed that rooms are only cleaned every three days, which was inconvenient.

Additionally, when my flight was canceled, I asked the front desk about extending my stay or exploring options, and the response I received was very vague and nonchalant. During this time i sat in the lobby for 2-3 hours figuring out my next move due to my flight cancel and not one person stopped and asked if i was okay or needed assistance although i didn’t but seeing someone in your lobby for 3 hours and not saying anything is weird to me. It didn’t feel like they were interested in helping or accommodating the situation.

The only highlight of this hotel is the pool—it’s definitely the best feature. However, be aware that at the pool area, your total may be charged twice initially, with one charge later refunded as an authorization, which can be confusing.

I am not happy for what I paid.
They don’t even give you a bottle of water. I waited about 30 minutes for shampoo to be delivered to the room. Asked for late check out and they did not wanted to give me the option. Asked for beach towels and they do not provide it either. The floor is broken in the reception, when you walk in is the first thing you see. I expected a better looking place and better service for the amount of money changed.
