Rooms are clean, spacious, neatly decorated and comfortable. Room service is impeccable, timely, and attentive. Staff are respectful, prompt, professional, and caring. But besides the physical stay, Helen, working at the reception, made our stay truly wonderful.

Helen ensured we were properly taken care of, extending well beyond what we had expected, providing us with the best experience we've had at a hotel, ever. Not only was she approachable, she was happy to talk us through local attractions, restaurants, and even further outside of the Sliema. We are not the only ones who shared this sentiment, many of the other guests also frequently thanked Helen specifically, indicating that we did not receive special treatment, she really does go above and beyond for everyone.

Helen is the type of person that we pray we see whenever we stay at a hotel, a true ray of sunshine and a real diamond in your staff line-up. If I worked for the Marriott company, I would make her package so competitive that she could not be poached by another company. We would stay at the Courtyard again without question, especially if Helen is there.

We stayed at the courtyard Marriott for 6 nights at the beginning of March. The hotel was very well looked after, everywhere was spotless and the staff we met were all so helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very good and had ample choice. We did have to wait for a table some mornings but it was never more than 5 minutes. The gym was well equipped. The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring with many restaurants available within walking distance

I have booked the junior suite, which was doubled the price of standard rooms that I had also booked for rest of my family members. The junior suite was very small and did not worth the price in comparison to the standard room. Once the sofa coverted into abother bed the room was very cramped. The balcony was not facing the sea but the back of other buildings has no nice views. The breakfast buffet was small. The hotel was new and clean. The swimming pool floor was slippery, the tiles was not anti slipping materials. During our stay there was building works right next the hotel which was very very noise. The work was starting from 6am in the morning. The staff were friendly. Overall, with the price that I have paid I could have much better options.

The whole experience was incredible. Every team in the hotel had such an eye for detail and nothing ever seemed too much trouble. There were always smiles and a welcome with every team member we encountered.
Having mentioned it was our wedding anniversary, the hotel kindly offered us a complimentary treat to add to our celebration.

Lovely stay had some noise keeping us up in the night so we were offered free dinner but still waiting on a refund for one night. It’s been nearly a month since we were there. Staff were lovely and helpful. Great pool. Would love to return. Just still waiting on refund but I will be taking this up with hotels.com

The staff were amazing and sooo accommodating!! It felt like they could read our minds.
We would discuss something and suddenly it would appear or be addressed like magic.
An example, at our first breakfast we said to each other “ wouldn’t it be great if we could have omelettes”.
Honestly!! A minute later our waitress said “We also offer omelettes”
We were mind blown.
The room was lovely, so spacious and super quiet! The sound proofing was amazing.
The gym had quality equipment! The indoor pool and sauna were a lovely touch to the hotel. The spa treatments a definite treat!
The restaurant was a lovely space.
It was my fiancé’s birthday and the staff were amazing!!
A special thank you to Manon and Amelea.
We cannot wait to return in the summer!

Everything about this hotel is excellent… the room was lovely and the housekeeping staff showed great attention to detail. Both the rooftop and spa pool areas were well-kept and restful, and the bar/restaurant staff professional and friendly at all times. The location is really convenient for buses, Bolt pick-ups and walks into Sliema to catch the ferry to Valletta. We have stayed in a number of high-quality hotels in Malta and were very impressed by this one… we hope to return soon!

The room was clean, though the pool in the basement felt a bit small and crowded most of the time. Still, I appreciated that the hotel had another pool given that the pool at the roof deck was cold. What truly sets a hotel apart are the micro-details that show attentiveness to guests. For example, the water jug in the sauna/steam room was left empty for days—something as simple as keeping it filled signals that management cares about guest comfort. Small touches like this make a big difference.

The morning reception staff were warm, friendly, and helpful, which is especially important since many guests are new to the country and rely on the hotel as a temporary home. A welcoming reception instantly makes visitors feel safe and at ease in unfamiliar surroundings.

When I left early in the morning, the young receptionist kindly offered me coffee, which I appreciated, while I waited for my airport ride. It would have been an even nicer gesture if the staff had thanked me for staying, wished me a pleasant journey, and a safe flight. These seemingly small courtesies add up and make a stay far more memorable and meaningful.

Clean rooms with modern design, comfortable bed, hot shower. Very polite staff. Good selection of cooked and continental food for breakfast. Spa pool in the basement is peaceful. Pool suitable for relaxing not laps. A dozen or so comfortable loungers. A steam room and sauna for 3/4 people. Plenty of free towels and water. Rooftop pool with similar loungers. Not sure if it’s heated but was comfortable on a warm day. We would stay again.

The hotel was well positioned nearby plenty of restaurants/bars, ferry station and even full blown grocery store. Also an incredible breakfast at a great value (thank you Ms. Finland for the special order of watermelon). However, what most impressed me was the quality of service/attention demonstrated by every staff member I interacted with. This is a 4-star hotel operated a 6-star staff. I will definetley recommend to friends and family when visiting. Thank you!!

Our stay was perfect. The staff in every part of the hotel were so attentive, helpful and friendly. The whole hotel is spotlessly clean. Our room was very good, a little more storage would have been helpful but not essential. Attention to detail was incredible, never stayed anywhere where there is a motion sensory skirting board light that guides you to the bathroom in the middle of the night!
Breakfast was delicious, so much choice and freshly made. We had dinner in the restaurant one evening and it was fantastic. We cannot fault this hotel, the incredible staff make it. Thank you.

The housekeepers go above and beyond! They even lined up my shoes!

I stayed in the last room on the 6th floor and it was really noisy after midnight, as if furniture was being pushed around. If you’re a sound sleeper it shouldn’t be an issue.

Parking is at Welbee’s Supermaket car park in the UPPER level. It would be helpful if there was a sign indicating Marriot hotel because the lower level is NOT for the hotel.

When you leave the hotel for the day, make sure to get a validated ticket from the hotel reception AND scan it at the machine or see the attendant before going to your car. The stick will automatically open when you exit.

Overall, I had a wonderful stay, location is very convenient, 10 steps away from the main street! I would recommend this place and would definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay! The hotel is located in a quiet, safe, residential area within walking distance of transit and the boardwalk by the sea. Staff are friendly and helpful. The room is clean and the hotel offers a lovely breakfast and good amenities. An all-day refreshment table (e.g. citrus water, tea, etc.) would have been nice, though the lobby Nespresso options did help if you're a coffee drinker. A microwave (even one per floor) would have provided some added convenience. TV channels other than multilingual news stations would also have been desirable for those calling it an early night.

We booked a junior suite for two adults and two small children, we were initially put into a smaller room that consisted of two rooms, not what was displayed on pictures, however, after asking staff to switch rooms we got exactly what we were looking foor. Rooftop pool and area is nice, but not he biggest pool. Breakfast is quite standard. The hotel is walling distance from various great restauranrs and also close to various kinds of public transport. The area seems to be less busy than some others, but thats not a bad thing for pople that dont want extremley touristy areas.

We had a nice stay at the Marriott Courtyard in Sliema. The property is new and has good amenities with complimentary parking within 5-7 mins walk. It’s a new and modern facility located right in the center of Sliema with variety of dining options, easy access to the beaches, transportation, and supermarkets, restaurants, and cafes. The reception and concierge desks were super helpful with recommendations for dining and attractions. Thank you for a nice warm welcome on our special occasion. Highly recommended this hotel.

I like that the staff were very friendly yet professional. Helen went out of her way to ensure our room was ready and explained all about the area and modes of transportation. The outdoor pool had plenty of sun beds which meant to grappling which is always an added bonus.

We had a great stay at the Courtyard Sliema! We stayed for 5 nights and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful during our stay.
We never had any problems getting a sunbed (although it does get busy) and enjoyed having the rooftop pool and bar. The food that we had during the day was excellent and a great selection of drinks were available.
It was obvious that the hotel was new due to its spotless appearance and amenities such as refreshment stations on each floor were very much appreciated.
Rooms were clean and cleaned daily to a high standard.
The location is great and very close to sliema waterfront and a short stroll away from St Julian’s. Lots of nice bars and restaurants nearby and we used it as a great base for Valetta and exploring the island.
There is a fair bit of construction going on around the hotel and there were times when a crane would move overhead but was nothing too drastic and appears to be quite common at the moment across Malta.

An amazing stay! We’d highly recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

When Helen, the Duty Manager, rang up to my room to see if I was happy with it, I told her I was a little disappointed with the view of building site from my balcony. She came up to my room immediately and brought me to see an alternative room which was bigger and had a partial sea view from balcony that I could move to, which I appreciated very much. I found all the staff very friendly and helpful and the pool area was comfortable, clean and relaxing.

die Klimaanlage funktioniert leider nicht einwandfrei.

Die gegenüberliegende Baustelle beginnt täglich um ca. 7:30 Uhr mit dem Abriss eines Gebäudes, wodurch die Geräusche des Abbruchhammers trotz der Lage des Zimmers zum Innenhof nicht wesentlich gemindert werden.

Die Lage ist hervorragend, mit fußläufiger Erreichbarkeit zahlreicher Geschäfte und der Fähre nach Valletta.

Der Service ist nicht immer zufriedenstellend.
Es kommt zu längeren Wartezeiten beim Frühstück.

In der Lobby ist ein für meinen Geschmack unangenehmer Geruch (verursacht durch Lufterfrischer) wahrnehmbar.

Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist unter diesen Umständen nicht gerechtfertigt.

Bei der Ankunft und während unseres Aufenthalts waren alle Mitarbeitenden sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir erhielten ein Upgrade auf ein Zimmer mit Balkon.

Das Frühstücksbüffet war schön angerichtet, auf Nachfrage konnte Cappuccino mit Hafermilch bestellt werden. Die Speisen waren frisch, die Auswahl war gut. Es gab auch vegetarische sowie vegane Optionen, die Müsli-Optionen waren super.

Der Fitness-Bereich sowie Sauna und Dampfbad sind klein und modern und erfüllen ihren Zweck, den Pool-Bereich sowohl indoor als auch outdoor haben wir nicht genutzt.

Die Lage ist super, allerdings wird neben dem Hotel derzeit gebaut. Wer geräuschempfindlich ist, sollte dies beachten, uns hat es weniger gestört, da wir die meiste Zeit unterwegs waren.

Mit dem Uber sowie dem öffentlichen Bus kommt man gut zu weiteren Zielen auf der Insel.
Restaurants sowie ein Supermarkt sind fussläufig, ebenfalls Geschäfte und Cafés.

Alles in allem können wir das Hotel empfehlen, da sowohl die Freundlichkeit des Personals als auch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis mehr als stimmten.

Das Hotel war sehr sauber, sehr modern, sehr zentral gelegen. Busse und Fähre sind gut fußläufig zu erreichen. Das Personal war sehr nett und zuvorkommend, alle Wünsche wurden berücksichtigt. Besonders hervorheben muss man die große Kinderfreundlichkeit. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Auch das Essen im Restaurant oben ist empfehlenswert und das Frühstück war einfach fantastisch. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

La fontaine d'eau disposition dans le couloir est un plus.
Chambre impeccable
Seule ombre au tabeau: travaux de 20h00 à 22h00. La eeme nuit idem la 3eme nuit à 05h40 du matin dans la chambre au dessus. Ca coupe le sommeil et derangeant pour se reposer

La chambre, la situation et le personnel très bien.
Le seul point noir est le chantier au pied de l'hôtel qui débute à 7h00 du matin, très bruyant avec une grue qui gâche la petite vue mer.
