The location is centrally located but in a quieter area. It is easy to walk around to explore the area, and metro stations are very close by. The room is good size and bed is comfortable. However it does not provide a kettle in room to make tea, but guest can go downstairs and ask the restaurant for hot water.

The cleaning service is perfect, the Wi-Fi worked very well, and the room is very comfortable. The only downside is the soundproofing, which left something to be desired, both for outside noise and for noise from the hallway and adjacent guests.

When I wandered too far (lost amidst the meandering streets), taxis were usually nearby and fairly priced.

The “standard” room we were given (for a family of three) unfortunately had no windows, which made the stay uncomfortable for my elderly parents. While the hotel’s location and breakfast were good, the room itself was quite cold, and both the Wi-Fi and heating/air-conditioning systems didn’t function properly throughout our stay.
Overall, I wouldn’t choose this hotel again, and I’ll be considering other options for future trips to Madrid. I also wouldn’t recommend it to friends or family.
