This hotel definitely needs some updating. It’s pretty outdated and old. The elevator is super small and looks sketchy. It even smells old in the hallways. The walls are super thin and you could hear everything in the hallways. We could easily hear kids running back and forth all morning. The ladies at the front desk though are super nice and she even called me when my room was ready because I had got there before check in time. We only slept there 1 night which was ok but I don’t think I would book there again if it was for more than 1 night.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Very good location because it is near the dog beach and Point Loma Seafoods for a lovely walk in the evening across the street for dinner. Also, walk on Shelter Island. Possibly the best location for a hotel in San Diego.

This hotel is across the street from me! I booked a hotel room for my friend and it was a great experience. When I walked in the room initially, I thought it was gonna be better. During the day, the hotel room doesn’t blow you away. During night time it’s amazing!

The beds are super comfortable. TVs are perfect size. Great showers. Clean.

Very good free continental breakfast.

The staff during the day are awesome!

Joe, who does the very late shift is very cranky guy!

Will recommend this hotel to friends and family in strangers!

Pool was green with ducks in it. Breakfast was slim options. The bed was hard and pillowcase rough. Room was tiny with peeling paint everywhere. Sign said they clean the room and replace towels daily, but thats only upon request daily.

There was a sticker on the sink mirror where it said they change linen and towels daily and if I wish to help conserve water etc, i should place the do not disturb sign on the door. So I assumed since I didnt put out the sign housekeeping will come in, take out trash and change towels. But when we came that night the room was as we left it, trash was still full, towels on the tub. I texted front desk and they informed me i have to request clean up so they can schedule it the next day. I replied we need clean towels now and front desk said I have to pick up the lobby.
Anyway Im good to follow whatever the hotel’s policy but their instructions should be consistent. Their hotel sticker on the sink mirror said differently from how their housekeeping works.

This hotel has a great location near the ocean boat docks and seafood restaurants. It's also close to the ferries to Coronado Bay. It has a nice pool and room was clean. Wonderful hotel!

Property needs a renovation. The comp breakfast just has sweet items with the exception of hard boiled eggs. Definitely could use some hot, protein items. Great location in Pt. Loma/San Diego and free parking. Overall good value.

Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Building is old but had new carpeting and recently remodeled bathroom.
Location is fantastic, close to city center.
Fantastic seafood just across street “Mitch’s Seafood.” Not fancy, mostly outdoor seating, but great food.

The room showed on line was very different from what we got. When it said pick your room, is bogus. What I picked was a nice newer looking room. What we got was an old old room with layers and layers of paint. Hallways leading to the rooms have OLD DINGEY carpet, Old wall papers and low low lighting. It was actually a little creepy walking down the hall in the evenings. Really reminded me of the movie “The
Shinning” On a plus, an important plus. although not what I chose and saw on line. The Room Was Clean. Just smaller than advertised. So small my husband and I could not stand up or walk by each other at the same time. Disappointed and will not be staying there again or anywhere with the same Hotel name tied to it.

This place is run down. The door to the room didn't seem secure. The room was old. There was a huge stain on the chair in the room. The noise from the street outside was unbearable. There were shady people at the bus stop outside. I would not stay here again. Location is ok for airport purposes and the breakfast was nice, but overall, it was pretty bad.

The staff was professional and nice. My main issues are probably more of a company wide problem. I've stayed at a few Ramada's already and they have one of the worst breakfasts in all the hotel chains I've booked. Their designated breakfast areas are always too hot to stay to eat and not very many options. This one in particular, had particles in their juice and the milk was luke warm.

The property is located in a great area: it is within walking distance of the harbor where there is a nice walking path along the harbor. It is relatively quiet, and there are plenty of places to eat. Gas stations, supermarkets and shopping centers are close by.
I was disappointed that the floor of my room was made of slats of wood, and some of those slats had corners that stuck out and were painful to walk on, so I had to wear my shoes in the room. Also, the breakfast was pretty minimal. There were no hot eggs, bacon or sausage available.

Run down harbor hotel.

Generally a run down property that has been sloppily painted over. Breakfast was all cold except for the tasteless waffles, with no attendant to keep the room clean and juices stocked. The elevator was only fit for a munchkin. Location near fisherman's landing was the only bright spot.

They need to update their info on an airport shuttle. It was disappointing they don’t because the many travel companies said they offer a shuttle, and this is why I booked this hotel. I was upset at first, but the staffing saved the stay. They were very accommodating and helpful with great customer service. Way to go! I’ll be back.
