Booked a couple of nights and paid top dollar to ensure we could have an accessible bathroom. It wasn’t accessible. There was a big step into the shower cubicle and although they said there were grab rails etc, there were not. The compendium in the room said rooms were serviced daily. They weren’t. Positives - they were generous with tea, coffee and bathroom consumables. Not good value for money.

Perfectly adequate motel for an overnight stop. Only problem was check-in. We arrived during the the 2pm to 5pm window specified to find reception closed. I phoned the telephone number specified on a notice on the window, but no reply and I had to leave a voicemail message. Someone phoned me back after about 30 minutes (complicated by being in Australia and I phoned from a UK number). They told me our room number and the key was under the mat! So all OK in the end.

I booked this at last minute as I was originally going to stay at a camp site but everything was booked out. I wasn’t expecting much as I could see it was a hotel / motel style of accomodation, however I was pleasantly surprised to find that even though from the outside it looked like an old hotel / motel, the rooms were renovated, the bathroom was modern and very spacious. The room itself was also spacious, it had a king size bed, couch a table and two chairs to sit at and a smart TV. The front door also had a electronic lock that was accessible via PIN code which I was given over the phone as the owner was not there at the time I arrived (I also arrived early thinking potentially I wouldn’t be able to access the room, but Rob was more than accommodating). I had my dog with me and they had a specific area at the back of the hotel which was grassed for the dogs to go to the toilet, they even provided doggie bags (even though I had my own) just in case. Overall it was excellent and I am definitely going to be staying there again. All of the sites were within a 5-20 drive and easily accessible by foot if you didn’t have a car! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The property was fine but apparently they allow pets. Unfotunately we had a bad experience - the guests next door arrived with 2 large dogs, they locked them in the motel room and then left, abandoning the dogs. The dogs barked and howled for the next one and a half hours until their owners returned. We were quite worried because of the distress of the dogs. And it totally destroyed the quiet evening we were looking forward to after a days driving.
Also both the wifi networks provided were very weak and kept dropping out so weren't usable.

Rooms are not spectacular but functional with adequate amenities. Bathroom is fine with hairdryer etc. Light and noise comes in and the bathroom fan, air conditioner and fridge were all on the noisy side. Close to beaches. Staff friendly.

Clean and tidy motel. Older style motel room that is larger than some motel room rooms we have stayed in. The bed was comfortable and the shower had good water pressure.
Air conditioner was noisy when running, but we opened the windows and let the fresh air in. Value for money and we would stay there again.

Made an online booking at 10:30pm and received confirmation. Arrived to check in and lazy receptionist didn't want to come downstairs to check us in. She told us to leave because apparently she was sleeping on her job. After informing her that we have a confirmed booking, she said a manager will call us and sort things out. We waited 30 minutes for the manager but received no calls. Absolute disgraceful customer service.

Quiet motel off highway

Remember to ask for wifi code when you check in as this wasn't offered. However wifi was useless - signal ranged from fair to poor. Telstra coverage was also poor. Room itself was good. Bed was comfortable and everything spotlessly clean. Also very quiet - no traffic noise. No milk in fridge. You have to get this from reception and \"extra will incur additional cost\".

I booked through Expedia, on the day of arrival I got a call from a staff member saying there were no credit card details in the booking and if I didn’t provide my room would be cancelled. I was driving at the time and advised I had not been asked to give payment details through the booking agent. He asked what time I was going to arrive, on saying 4pm I was told if I don’t arrive by this time the room was going to be cancelled.

Quiet area , beds good , close to where we had to be on the mon night . The family room had 2 pieces of the blind broken which made it easy for people to be able to see in, not sure how long the blinds been broken . One piece of blind was sitting on the windowsill inside, the bottom of the window had a large crack in it also not sure how long been there. Was going to say something about it on way out tues am but office ha$ a closed sign ondoorsojust left the keys in key box.

We have been coming here for 3 years now around Christmas time, rooms are decent size, have no real complaints other than you can not get phone reception on the property, the only other downfall was tv channel sbs Vice had no picture “audio only”

Everything else is really good and I’ll be back again around Christmas this year again

I advised reception that we would arrive after they had closed, and was told they would leave milk in the fridge for us. However when we arrived there was no milk.
I looked up their opening hours for the next morning which said 7.30am so thought I would just head over to reception and grab some milk then.
However reception was not open at 7.30am.

Check in was easy, and thankfully we had number 20 which was the last room around the corner of the L shape building so quieter than if in the middle.
We did have to ask for more toilet paper as this had not been filled when the room was cleaned, and they had no wine glasses or milk in the room. The hairdryer did not work, and I did try 2 plugs, luckily we brought a hairdryer with us.
Good location, not far from the beach or shops and restaurants.

Very basic budget hotel - no way 3 1/2 stars!!

Very disappointed to arrive to find out no food or drinks available on site. Misrepresenting on travel website stating room service with cutlery picture yet no food available for purchase on site. No drinks either or machine.
When questioned, reception staff said room service was meant as daily changing of rooms??? clearly they don't read their own website.
Would not stay again as for same price in the same area much more traveller friendly motels nearby. Room was freezing in winter upon arrival and mattress was so hard with no comfort at all. Management need to act like a customer and experience their own motel. Milk provided in small glass jug, barely enough for 2 coffees for entire stay.

One of the reasons I booked was because it stated it had wifi. If you need it, i dont recommend. But if its not important. It's gr8 for a stopover.

The shower hot water did not work.
There was a bad smell from the drains that in the bathroom that did not smell good at all - plumbing issue.
Guests are free to smoke outside the bedrooms which waft in.

Lack of soap holders in shower a minus although overall room was of good quality. A domestic in an adjoining unit resulting in having to call police and ambulance after one party screaming for help. This was assisted by 2 other guests with owners/staff being conspicuous by lack of appearance and reluctance to answer telephone after need to get room opened for person involved in domestic when other party fled with room key.
