Our room was amazing and the facilities were well kept and inviting. Breakfast each morning had more options than I could eat.
My only complaint was the family on our floor had children they could not control and screamed nearly the length of our stay. Not the hotel's' fault mind you.

We were there for a wedding, it made for a beautiful location to add to a beautiful day. The hotel is very clean and had options for down time like walking locally, going to the pool and beach. Food was excellent for breakfast and at the wedding reception.

This hotel does not offer a Four Seasons or Fairmont experience, but it could have.

The common themes: understaffing or poor staff training/supervisio

Our experience with the bag handling was not as smooth as we expected. We expected bags promptly after check-in. We said we did not know our room number yet. We retrieved them from the storage room after a 60-minute wait. Our initial impression was a disorganized operation.

Later we learned the door person was alone on their second shift to greet us. This person should not have been left alone on their second shift to greet guests. Training and shadowing by an experienced door person would have avoided such an elementary oversight. The young man was left on his own. Not fair to him or to us.

The evening servers were understaffed and obviously run off their feet.

While we understand that high food and alcohol costs are in line with an upscale resort, we were disappointed with the food preparation. Caesar salad with ranch dressing? A Greek salad with no dressing? Grilled cheese was unspeakable (we have pics). Cold hamburger. Greek salad was so bad I respectfully taught beach lounge bar staff how to make a dressing to convey to the kitchen staff. Wait staff were thankful for the instruction. Kitchen staff need training & supervision.

Great property good staff under training = unrealized business potential. We recommend that Kempenski Head Office do a blind audit. These are fixable problems.

Very nice! It is such a beautiful property with amazing views. The spa is awesome and has a ton of facilities that are included in your stay plus extras you can purchase if desired. The included breakfast buffet is delicious with a lot of options. The restaurant on the property is very good, however it is very pricey.

The only downside is this property is so secluded there aren’t many options for restaurants within walking distance.

The hotel is clean and modern. The staff is kind and professional but I could not give it 5 stars. It is a bit generic. The location is remote so it would be nice if there was more to experience on property. But it is on the sea and maybe that's enough for a lot of people. We have been to the Kempinski in High Tatras many times and in comparison this one is in a lower league. You are not made to feel special but as a patron. The food was good but not great. The room clean but small. It's very nice but lacks individual character.

My wife and I have stayed at four different Kempinski Hotels and have always been impressed. The staff is courteous, attentive, and friendly without being imposing. They are readily available but are not \"in your face\" helpful. The breakfast buffet is terrific and the surroundings are absolutely beautiful. The room was very comfortable. We wished for a longer stay, truly. I'm glad we went in the off season, however, (late October) since the surrounding area and narrow roads I imagine would become overwhelmed and choked with traffic in the high season. Five stars!

Amazing hotel with holf course

Great Hotel with heated pool, amazing view of Piran and Portoroz. The beach is 200 m away but it is worh walking. There is a lift so you do need to climb up or down.

This hotel is magical. SO beautiful. The rooms are amazing, the staff are friendly, breakfast is awesome.... I can’t say enough good things about this place. The hotel pools were great, and the ocean right outside the hotel was so pretty and perfect; we bounced between both all day long. We will stay here again for sure.

Wonderfull and very luxury resort with extremely friendly and kind stuff. We very appreciate that hotel is very pet friendly. The golf course is very near and in excellent condition.

Our room were very spacious and elegantly furnished with balcony with view of the sea. Mini bar was full of everything and room service was great. Breakfast ? Excellent !!! We will come again for sure.

Nice resort, but better options nearby

Spent a nice weekend at this hotel. The restaurant is a bit expensive (fine, it's a hotel), but there's really not much nearby either (minimum 20 minute drive to civilization), which makes it a bit of a problem. It is also not \"on the beach\" - it is a good 10 minute walk from the beach. That makes the \"sea-view\" more of a \"different houses on the other side of the hotel\" view. That said, the staff were friendly and helpful (caught some rather expensive charges on our bill that should not have been there and they fixed it -- but glad I looked carefully), the pool areas were comfortable, the room was nice (wifi has great coverage but not great speed). A relaxing get-away weekend, but it certainly could be better.

Very pleasant modern hotel

Very good high standard hotel. Excellent food and great, child-friendly service. Staff went out of their way to make sure out stay with a toddler was peaceful.
Good pools and spa area, very relaxing massage treatment.
The rooms are very comfortable and of a standard you'd expect from a 5* hotel. Slightly off the beaten track location but easily reachable with a car and convenient for trips around Istria and Slovenia.

Reception Staff are welcoming and cannot be more helpful and this is attitude is carried through every Hotel department - Pool Bar, Catering service to Accommodation, Spa and Front desk.
Senior Staff are discrete yet are on hand to ensure your happy with your stay and quietly look to gain an insight into making your Holiday even better.
The Pools, Spa and Fitness facilities & Equipment are excellent and its only a short walk to the Private beach with an abundance of Sun Shades and Loungers. The Beach Bar staff provide both food and drink promptly and with a smile.
If you like water sports facilities are available, or enjoy a round of Golf on the Hotels 18 hole course and a meal or drink in the equally well appointed Club House.
The Accommodation is just absolutely 5 star and I would recommend a room have a sea view which is spectacular across the Adriatic across to Slovenia's delightful fishing town of Piran and on a clear day the Italian coast beyond.

Recently spent 2 nights at the Kempinski Adriatic on northern coast of Croatia as part of a trip through Slovenia. Had stayed in a Kempinski hotel before so was expecting something special. The hotel lived up to that with its first class service and friendly staff. The breakfast in particular was 'to die for'! This Kempinski however does have a few down sides, such as location on a fairly remote underdeveloped stretch of Croatian coast. There is little to do or see so hotel has a captured audience. This is reflected in the very expensive dinner prices in both hotel restaurants.

Faulous hotel, so sad to be home!

We have just returned from a wonderful week at the Kempinski in Croatia. It was truly 5 star luxury.Every member of staff we came into contact with could not do enough for us and really made us feel special. Everyone from the reception staff, to the concierge, to the staff at breakfast and room service, went over and above anything we requested. I do believe Kempinski hotels are beyond compare. It's not that easy to get to from Pula airport - unless you have a car, but once you get there you won't want to leave! The beach is a small pebble beach but with immaculate shower/toilet facilities and a small bar and snack area as well as water sports. An outstanding holiday location, beautiful surroundings and the hotel itself is only about 4 years' old.

Luxury at the sea

Overall great experience. Nice location, clear waters. Good service at all the restaurants, beach bar and pool bar. Outdoor movie for kids on some days of the week, live entertainment on others.
We wish the food for dinner was better - some dishes were good, others less so. The fine dining restaurant was a huge let down. The worst food of the entire stay.
Only other issue was on checkout - several billing problems. And it was clear we were not the only ones facing this issue. People before us and besides us had the same problem. You could easily end up paying 500$ more if you don't check your bill carefully.

Hotel is a bit tricky to find, but if you study the map before hand it should not be a problem. The hotel restaurant is very good but pricey. The local bar, as well as the restaurant down the street are both very good and have excellent friendly staff that speak English/German.

The hotel was fantastic. Service was generally of a high standard, but everyone was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. We stayed in an executive suite on the third floor (4 in total), it was not cheap, but it was worth it. Food in the hotel is expensive but a short drive to nearby restaurants gets you local quality cuisine at great prices. They thought of the smallest detail, from molton brown quality soaps and shampoos, to children's slippers, it's just a great experience. We will certainly come back.

Et Ganske udmærket sted med rigtig godt værelse og morgenmad - tæt på golbane og udsigt over Middelhavet mod Vendi og Slovenien.

Det ligger lidt afsidest såfremt du ikke har bil - men udmærket sted til at besøge de nævnte udsigtspunkter --- og eventuelt er på vej sydpå i Kroatien.

Frühstück nicht dem Sternegrad entsprechend. Kaffee kalt Bedienung vergisst dauernd. Buffet wird nicht aufgefüllt.An 2 Tagen Rühreier erst nach über 30 Minuten wieder aufgefüllt. Kein entsprechender Sevice der einem Sternehotel entspricht.Am Sonntag 22.9. Probealarm danach keine Entwarnung.

Im Luxushotel sollte immer Saison sein

Der Aufenthalt war insgesamt fantastisch.
Die zum Hotel gehörige Strandanlage ist sehr schön gestaltet. Uns störte nur, dass die Strandbar (bei wohl mehr als 50 badenden Hotelgästen) noch nicht in Betrieb war („wird erst in der Hochsaison geöffnet“).
Dss Essen (2x Dinner) war ausgezeichnet, der Service sehr zuvorkommend. Im Gegensatz zum Freitag mit sehr viel Gästen, wo alles „wie am Schnürchen“ lief, waren die Wartezeiten am Sonntag mit sehr wenig Gästen - 2 Stunden für Suppe und Hauptgang - schon recht lang (Freitage für das Personal?)…

Hotel récent et bien tenu mais l'architecture et la décoration manquent de charme. On a l'impression d'être dans un hotel d'aéroport.

Sehr gut erhaltene Anlage,sehr leckeres Frühstück, super saubere Zimmer. Negativ hervorzuheben ist der Service beim Abendessen, teilweise je nach Person an der Rezeption und vor allem am Strand. Im Vergleich mit anderen Kempinski Häusern die wir besucht haben,waren wir erstaunt dass wir die Liegen selbst mit Polster zusammengebaut haben,den Sonnenschirm aufgestellt haben uns vor allem zum Getränke bestellen an die Bar laufen mussten. Auch nur auf wenig Personal während Corona kann es nicht zurückzuführen sein, vergleichsweise war dort ausreichend Personal vorhanden.

Die äußeren Anlagen sind sehr schön und sehr gepflegt. Auch Empfang und Lobby machen einen luxuriösen Eindruck. Die Möbel wurden innen und außen teilweise und geschmackvoll (ist natürlich subjektiv) erneuert und Terrasse sowie Speisesaal auf den neuesten Stand gebracht. Das Frühstück ist weiterhin zwar nicht luxuriös, aber sehr ordentlich und vielfältig genug für uns. Kritikpunkte wären, dass die Zimmer öfters gesaugt werden müssten und z. Bsp. an den Vorhängen der Zahn der Zeit nagt. Wir haben uns trotzdem wieder sehr wohl gefühlt. Sonst hätten wir nicht zum 4. Mal dort gebucht.

Ideální hotel pro náročnější klientelu, vyhřívaný venkovní bazén, o vnitřním bych toto netvrdil, wellness: saunový svět slabší průměr.
Krásné zázemí u oblázkové pláže, okolí hotelu je spíše zemědělská oblast, nejbližší větší městečko s promenádou je Umag. Prostorné pokoje s nadstandardní velikostí postele. Jedinou výtku bychom snad měli k zaměstnancům hotelu a to v tom, že kromě pokojských neuměli pozdravit.

Elementi da migliorare: buffet a colazione (bisogna aggiungere delle insalate e dei piatti asiatici), la cena dovrebbe essere anch’essa a buffet (con prezzo fisso 40€ bevande escluse), nella SPA per favore mettere lettini più grandi e che si riscaldano.

Wir waren jetzt zum 3. Mal dort. Innen hat sich grundsätzlich nichts verändert. Es handelt sich weiterhin um ein hochwertiges Hotel. Der Strandbereich wurde dagegen stark aufgewertet. Leider gibt es dort um diese Zeit (1. Oktober-Woche) keine Getränke mehr, obwohl sich dieses Mal deutlich mehr Personen dort aufhielten. Als wir unser Zimmer bezogen, musste ich aber zunächst die Deckendusche auswechseln lassen, da diese total verkalkt war. Das wurde sehr schnell erledigt. Leider wurde das Zimmer fast oder gar nicht gesaugt und abgestaubt, was man nach 3 Tagen schon bemerken konnte. Das sind so Kleinigkeiten, bei denen einfach ein bisschen geschlampt wird. Da würde ich auf den unnötigen, täglichen Tausch der Handtücher verzichten können. Das Bad war aber immer sehr gepflegt. Es gab wie immer ein reichhaltiges und sehr gutes Frühstück. In näherer Umgebung findet man gute und günstige Restaurants für den Abend, die man zu Fuß oder mit dem PKW (\"Pizzeria Andy\" in Savudrija) schnell erreichen kann.

Ankunft:
Die Rezeption war nich hilfreich bei der Suche nach einem Restaurant. Es wurden nur die hausinternen Restaurants angeboten, von denen jedoch bereits 2 ausgebucht waren. Hinweise auf Restaurants in der Nähe wurden nicht gegeben.
Wir wollten unser Zimmer im Erdgeschoss gegen ein Zimmer in einem der Obergeschosse tauschen, was jedoch nicht möglich war.
Frühstück:
Ein Anstellen und Warten (bis zu 15 Minuten) auf einen Tisch ist für ein 5-Sterne –Haus nicht akzeptabel. Der Raum des Frühstückbuffets ist für die Gästezahl viel zu klein. Der Nachschub von Speisen und Geschirr war mangelhaft, obgleich das Personal durchaus bemüht war.
Das Angebot bzw. die Vielfalt ist für ein 5-Sterne-Haus sehr überschaubar und wenig abwechslungsreich.
Im Strandbereich, der etwa 10 Gehminuten vom Hotel entfernt war, musste man um Liegen kämpfen, obwohl angekündigt war, dass Liegen, die länger als 1 Stunde nicht benützt werden, geräumt werden (was jedoch nicht geschah!)
Das Hotel ist unseres Erachtens max. ein 4-Sterne-Haus!

eine schöne unterkunft mit parkplatzgebühr

eine gute schnelle Adresse mit hohem Komfort. wir haben das kempinski adria bereits mehrfach für einen kurzurlaub ausgewählt. es ist von unserer heimatadresse nur etwas mehr als 2 stunden entfernt, die lage direkt am Meer ist perfekt, letztes mal hatten wir ein zimmer mit tollem blick auf piran. sehr gutes umfangreiches frühstück, die wellnessanlage ist supergrosszügig. einziger Wermutstropfen sind die teuren parkgebühren für den aussenplatz. ich finde sie für dieses Niveau nicht angemessen. das hat kempinski nicht nötig. aber der gast hat keine alternative, wenn er mit dem wagen kommt. ausser dem kempinskiparkplatz kann man nirgendwo parken. das finde ich unverschämt. aber von diesem überflüssigen mangel abgesehen kann ich das hotel nur empfehlen und wir werden beim nächsten Kurztrip sicher wiederkommen. vielleicht verzichtet man dann schon auf die parkplatzgebühr.

.....lange wartezeit in der früh beim Frühstück auf einen tisch auf der terrasse.....
.....liegen am strand wurden mit handtüchern u bademantel reserviert bzw besetzt.....standen den halben tag leer und selbst kam man nicht in den genuss einer liege u eines schirms.....strand zu klein bzw zu geringe anzahl an liegen u schirmen für die grösse des hotels!

Kurzurlaub und in Summe alles in Ordnung

Den Strand sollte man nicht zu einer Hauptreisezeit erneuern und damit sperren. Damit gibt es am Pool zu wenige Liegen und nicht alle Gäste fanden daher eine. Das Restaurant hat etwas nachgelassen. Qualität in Ordnung nur geschmacklich einfallslos.
