We were in room 12 which was lovely and warm as always, love the shower in the Bathroom power shower ample hot water, and nice comfy bed, this wasn't our first stay there as, we love the friendly atmosphere and the staff are very helpful, great views especially from the resturant with it's picture windows looking out onto the North Sea.
Looking foward to our stay later in the year again, might opt for one of the sea view rooms which are slightly bigger in size.
A cooked breakfast is included or if you fancy something lighter they have alternative things on the menu as well as cornflakes or more.
We chose this hotel because of it's location to family in the area which suited our needs.

Second visit to Cove Bay hotel, both visits to see a family members. Hotel is on the outskirts of Aberdeen overlooking the North Sea. Our rooms were very comfortable and nicely decorated. The bathrooms have a great shower but could have done with another radiator as they were quite chilly. The food is excellent. Hot breakfast items are many, and good quality. Evening meal was tasty and pleasant service.

The owner was wonderful, very helpful and so accommodating. The hotel was lovely, very cosy rooms, so if you’re over 6ft tall the beds are very small doubles, so not very comfortable for us but very clean, beautifully decorated and the food was delicious and hot! Overall a pleasant stay but tainted by the smell of cigarettes. Good on-site restaurant with a great breakfast and fantastic service. Nice views down to the water from the room, cosy sofa and spacious. The bed was small and uncomfortable. Excellent car park on site, great location with a nice convenience store close by. Unfortunately the popular pub downstairs has smokers using the main entrance which leads to the bedrooms, making this area smell of cigarettes. We were glad to have a room further away but needed to use that access to the restaurant. We would recommend allocating a smoking area away from the main entrance. Minor cleanliness and attention to detail missed such as dusty plants on dining room table. Still enjoyed our stay and all the nice food!

Very disappointed. Stayed in Room 3 for our anniversary, and had 6 hours of BLARING MUSIC from the bar/public area below. It didn't relent until midnight.
Absolutely horrendous, more like staying in a nightclub with a hotel attached. Was told that they make this clear at booking- they didn't - and that it was an old building.
We paid extra for a room with a sea view too. If you are after peace and quiet - AVOID.

This property is a bit in a corner and out away from everything but homes. It served its purpose. It's not memorable so I only recommend if you are limited on options.

This was a one night stay before going for the Aberdeen ferry and it was in a very nice position to do that. However I really enjoyed it because it felt like a holiday because the area around is so lovely with an easy walk down to the harbour and the lovely cottages around. The staff were very friendly and the food was good. There is plenty of parking and the rooms were very nice with a comfortable bed. Absolutely nothing to dislike.

The staff are 5 star. So nice and accommodating and fast! We recommend this place. Be sure to reserve the sea view room as the room is large and has a nice size bed. The cottages are cute but small.

Only problem was that the room window is at eye level for a walkway at the side of the hotel.
So unless you are an exhibitionist then you need to keep the curtain closed as anyone walking by will see right in.
Food was excellent. I had the feather blade beef it was lovely, my wife had the vegetable tagline and enjoyed that as well.

I had an amazing time staying at the Cove Inn and look forward to returning. I had cabin 6 and it ticked all my boxes. Sea view and a wee old recliner by the side of the window. The food was exceptional as was the service. Staff first class and treat you with respect. Jamie was a star!
