We liked the hotel but our room was on the ground floor and only a few doors up from reception. We were woken every morning to people dragging their cases down the walkway and talking. We also only had a bath in our room with no shower just a hand held thing above the bath. It also only had one window into the courtyard which was had to shut the curtain for as people walked past. Would have been a better stay in a different room. All staff were lovely and room was spotlessly clean.

The staff is amazing and helpful. They greet you when Yo winter and bid you farewell when you leave. The hotel is adorable and absolutely clean. Bed is very comfortable. There is a patio for dining or lounging. The pool is great for those hot days. Highly recommend!!!!

We enjoyed our stay. Loved the traditional Spanish feel of the decor and layout of the hotel. Lots of different indoor and outdoor spaces to sit and enjoy, drinks, breakfast or relax. Our room had everything you needed and the decor was lovely and it was very clean. The location was great, very quiet but walkable to restaurants, bars and all the main historical attractions. With our vip access we received a bottle of cava which was delicious. Perfect sized roof top pool and sun terrace. The food and drinks were great!

The only things that let it down was our bed in our room was so small and the mattress was broken on one side, so didn’t get a good night sleep for the 4 nights we were staying, it was mentioned to reception but nothing was done to sort the problem. The roof top terrace decor was a little dated and tired, and didn’t reflect the rest of the hotel style and comfort. The breakfast I feel was a little over priced by the size of the hot food portion.

Apart from that we had a lovely stay. And would recommend staying here :)

The Hotel was just perfect , from check in we were shown on a map the local area to visit , our room was beautiful with an amazing comfortable bed , We only had breakfast on the first day which was just perfect sittiing in the little court yard with orange trees . Delicious food. The tasting menu was great. NOt sure that the flamenco performance that went with it was the best but certainly was a good introduction to Spanish culture on our first night.

We had a great stay at this lovely hotel and they were extremely helpful when I was unwell and needed a doctor so I am very grateful. Breakfast was good and we enjoyed the rooftop pool area briefly, although it is small, it has a bar service which is nice. Would prefer that others were not allowed to inflict their music choices on everyone else via Bluetooth speakers however. Sometimes you just want to lie in the sun and read a book!

The rooms are spacious and offer all the comforts you need in a modern life but with aesthetics that honor history. Breakfast is wonderful and has so many delicacies on offer. The staff at the property are beyond amazing. We received several perks on arrival- a bottle of champagne and spa services. We do not drink and had a full itinerary that did not allow us any time to utilize the services, but we appreciated the gesture.

The issue is the overall condition of the hotel which despite being beautiful, our room had a problem with ants. We had several insects bites from staying there 3 nights - I could not tell if it was from mosquitoes or from ants. We did find ants on our bed every day. Wish we could say that we would stay again but the next time we are in Seville, we will opt for another location.

A superbly run, traditional Andalucian hotel where my partner and I spend a wonderful 4 days. We had a gorgeous, clean and spacious room which was on the ground floor just off the first courtyard. The only downside was that due to the positioning of the room it could be quite noisy when people were sitting on the tables directly outside, but it didn't spoil our enjoyment of the hotel.

This is a historic hotel in the City Center. Very Spanish. Good location, difficult to find but walkable to historic sites around the city. There is oan oddly nice and tranquil pool and spa area on the rooftop floor. That was the highlight of the hotel for us. Staff was accommodating. The reason for the “3”overall rating is only because the price was a little high and we had to pay another 40 euros to get a rollaway bed in the room.

There was one employee that seemed stressed everyday and was not so pleasant as the others who were sweet and relaxed. Air ducts needed cleaning (we used the air conditioner) the vents were black. Those were the only negatives. Everything else gorgeous!!

The whole thing was excellent on every level. The only niggle I would mention was that the air con in the room wasn’t working - because of the time of year. For some reason outside summer months, the system can only heat rooms, and in the summer it will cool them. The staff provided a fan though that did help, and we could just open the door for 5 minutes which did the trick

Hot and sticky in Seville

Las Casas del Rey the Baeza is a wonderfully charming hotel an easy walk from almost every sight in Seville. It has a rooftop swimming pool that was the hub of social interaction for the guests in the early evening. The staff could not be friendlier and the breakfast spread was generous and of very high quality. Given these high marks why not give it the highest rating? Because while it claims to have air conditioning they fail to tell you that it is available only during the hot season, which I assume they consider it to be the official summer months. Unfortunately for us, Seville was very hot and humid during our visit on March 9-12 and our room, as charming as it was, literally became a sauna at the end of the day even with all the windows open and door cracked. Our pleas to turn the A/C on were referred to “Don Pablo,” who obviously did not deem them worthy of a response.

Hospes Las Casas del Rey de Baeza provided a wonderful, relaxing base during our recent stay in Seville. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a quiet location but is still very convenient for sightseeing. The typical Spanish style of the architecture gives the hotel a special quality.While small, the pool area was relaxing and a pleasant oasis from a hot Seville. The hotel, in general, provided a delightful refuge. We would highly recommend staying here and would happily return.

Great hotel - if you get the right room

The hotel is beautiful, and is in a decent location about 10-15 min walk from La Giralda. Do not let them book you into room 2 (right next to check in) - the room faces a noisy courtyard where diners are seated, while the other side faces a cobble stone street that is very noisy when cars drive by.

I was initially booked in this room, and complained. I was told there were no other rooms available. I'm an Expedia VIP+ member and am supposed to get upgrades when available, but was again told there are no rooms. When I told them to then cancel my reservayij because it was too loud, a junior suite mysteriously had become available for the duration of my stay.

Shady. These hotels get VIP+ status by offering perks. It's a way to get people like me to book with them over someone else. It's a shame they aren't honoring their end of the bargain with Expedia unless threatened with cancellation.

Don't be fooled.

This is an expensive chain hotel with little regard for their guests, disguised as a quaint and charming spot. Don't be fooled. This could be a very nice hotel, however, it is very expensive for what it is, I would not recommend it. After staying in another Hospes chain hotel, it seems that the Hospes chain is really just to make money considering the outrageous price of our tiny room here, 25 euros for parking (when the website says \"self-parking\" and nothing about a surcharge), 22 euro breakfast buffet, and incredibly expensive massages. Our room was tiny, with a small double bed, barely any room to put a suitcase or walk around and a very small window on to the courtyard, which provided little to no lighting. For a $200/night room, this was ridiculous. Check in also took FOREVER. We sat in the courtyard for almost an hour waiting to get checked in. As hotel owners ourselves, we know that check in should not take this long and should be a quick and easy process to get the guests to their room as efficiently as possible. The staff were nice and friendly, but there are obviously things that need to be improved upon. It's a very charming hotel, but certainly not worth the price (especially with no services included in the price). It's also not very centrally located, we walked at least 15 minutes to get anywhere we were interested in going.

Couldn't be better

We stayed with our grown up daughters and son in law and had a really fantastic holiday at the hotel and enjoyed Seville despite some overcast weather.
Location: slightly out of the centre of the old city, but easily walkable to all areas, the benefit was an extremely quiet and peaceful stay with no city noise
Staff: really lovely and friendly staff without exception, could not fault their care and attention
Room: clean and well appointed, could have been a little more space for putting away clothes (drawer space), but a minor point
Food: we had excellent breakfasts and a meal one evening which was very reasonably priced and the service was extremely good
Conclusion: no faults, would stay again any day and would recommend to anyone visiting Seville

together with another couple we stayed 3 nights 10-13 June and we really liked the hotel especially its staff namely Juan and Miguel. They did their best to make our stay memorable, I highly recommend this hotel

Disappointing

I requested a quiet room with a view (quiet the most important). We were put in a first floor room next to the service closet, stairwell and elevator. The room was street level alongside a busy street. The walls a rail thin and even with the next door room water running it sounds like a rainstorm (I actually went outside to see if it was raining). Our bed was basically two twin beds pushed together without a connector and the bathroom had just enough towels and soap for one adult. The check in process was rushed and the frankly rude employee didn't give us details about wifi, pool, etc. Oh, and the food we ordered for a light lunch was terrible. I can't believe I paid over $300/night for this hotel. I have nothing against a humble hotel but between the poor customer service and complete lack of care about our comfort, this hotel pick was a fail.

Nice Hotel

We enjoyed our hotel stay very much. Location was very convenient. We walked to most of the Seville sites but could easily grab a taxi when we needed one. The hotel restaurant food was delicious. We received a small glass of complimentary sangria upon check-in. A nice touch!

Traditional hotel in heart of Seville

This is a lovely little hotel;ideally located with the added bonus of a roof top pool. It's clean and although the rooms are a little basic;it is traditional style is part of its charm. Staff were great and breakfast in the cobbled courtyard was a nice way to start the day.

Hotel is quite central in city.

Lovely old-fashioned hotel. Staff were most helpful and welcoming. We had a quiet, well appointed room, albeit a little problem with the shower. Food good in restaurant with superb service from staff. Difficult to think of adverse comments. Small swimming pool and terrace on roof level.

Romantic Seville Hotel

Picturesque hotel in a quiet setting. We walked to the main tourist sites although some may prefer a taxi ride. Stylish comfortable room. Friendly welcome from staff. Excellent food in the restaurant or informal eating and drinking in the courtyard.
Only slight quibble was that sometimes the breakfast staff didn't quite keep up with replenishing the buffet but a good selection of continental breakfast food and you could order eggs if you wanted something hot.

Atmospheric but quite expensive for what it is.

Nice hotel, plenty of character, friendly staff but rooms facing the front reception square are noisy with traffic passing in the lovely but tiny one way street that channels all the noise towards the hotel.

Ask for a room facing the back only. Internal facing rooms have lots of passing guests on the landings so open windows are not realistic and rooms very dark.

Good food, well priced. Great salads.

Great pool area on the roof and hot hot hot ...

The hotel leaves baskets of oranges all over then place for guests to help themselves. Nice touch.

Well Located - Excellent Stay

We really enjoyed staying at this hotel. While it was not easy to find, it was well located for touring Granada. The centrally located hotels were not easy to find either due to one way streets and the network of streets. We were within walking distance of all the main sites. We had an excellent dinner in their dinning room - a great way to start our trip to Spain. The service was also very good. We liked the room we had in the modern section of the hotel.
