This hotel is situated in the heart of England and set within 17 acres of stunning manicured gardens and rugged woodland. Featuring an idyllic location, the establishment is nestled between the charming towns of Warwick, Leamington Spa, Stratford-upon-Avon and Kenilworth, and is within easy reach of all neighbouring motorways and main roads.

Restaurants, bars and pubs are some 25 minutes' walk away, and nightspots and shopping venues are to be found in Leamington Spa, which is some 10 minutes away by car. Leamington Spa's railway station is about a 15-minute car ride from the hotel, and Birmingham International Airport is approximately 20 km away from the establishment.

Unfortunately I didn't realise there would be so many dogs there, more so with owners that we're inconsiderate. We had a dog wailing and barking from 7pm - 8pm, more of an annoyance than anything, but the same dog was then wailing from 7am - 7.45am on Sunday morning, which was completely inconsiderate, I didn't need to be up at 7am.

The hotel itself was nice enough but ruined by some of the guests

Hotel is ok but it’s a large and soulless feeling hotel on the outside of Coventry.

Feels designed for conferences/weddings etc. rather than being a boutique hotel which I thought it might be.

Nothing overall wrong with it, but not somewhere I would go again as I like smaller hotels

Staff, breakfast, location and pool facilities were all outstanding - easily 5-stars.

Overall room experience (3-stars) room size was great and the hotel team kindly accommodated an extra matress. The room we were allocated - 015 - though had a lot of plant noise and was in need of refurbishment (one of the night lights had exposed plastic wires, there was a lot of plant noise - extractor or aircon - especially noticable at night, water took a long time to run hot, toilet seat wasn't fitted straight.)

We reported these items on checkout and were advised that the rooms in the \"new\" wing of the hotel didn't have the same issues. I'd guess from this we were unlucky in allocation.

We'd stay again but only if able to explicitly book/try the \"new\" accommodation.

Lovely cosy room in the original building, nice spacious bathroom (only niggle is that a chair to put clothes on would have been handy).
Comfy bed, nice sheets.
We stay at the Chesford regularly and it's always a reliably good stay. Breakfast is very good and varied. Plenty of gluten free options for our coeliac daughter.
We tried room service this time, easy to order and very tasty chicken burger.
Staying again tomorrow night with dogs, this has previously been very easy, the grounds are fabulous for walks. Overall a great hotel with friendly helpful staff.

There was a bit of a wait at check-in. 3 families checking-in but only one member of staff.

The family room was very large. The main bed was comfortable but the sofa bed had a thin mattress and we had to request another duvet to put on the mattress.

The shower was okay, but not powerful. Nice toiletries.

Breakfast was a standard buffet. Self-service for tea and coffee. The coffee machine was very slow, so there was a queue of guests.

Good location to visit Warwick university.

Nice hotel but not great sleep

Would have been nice to know in advance that under 16yrs not allowed int he gym even with adult supervision.

Also if you have an event on please don't put the drunken gangs or very excited teenagers in the same part of the hotel as the other guests as their running up and down the corridor until 1.30am was not welcomed the night before an important business meeting.

Only small issue was the swimming pool changing rooms; there was lots of hair on the floor. Also the pool staff need to pay more attention to the guests behaviours, male guest shaving at the side of the pool then using showers to rinse. Future guests need to be made aware of the restricted use of the pool due to swimming lessons.

The hotel looks to be newly refurbished. Our room (447) was very clean and tidy. All furnished and finishes looked new. Bathroom large only small problem was step into bath. I’m only 5 ft so very big step over bath side as slightly too high and wide. Grab handles provided.
We had family room large super king bed the settee made up in to small double. Plenty of electric sockets with USB very useful. Air con worked well and liked complimentary drinks bar in fridge. Very quiet room. Staff all friendly and helpful. Had great evening meal and breakfast plenty of choice.

Great location for Royal Leamington Spa

The only criticism is that the postcode quoted on all correspondence took us to Coventry Road, Kenilworth not Coventry Road, Warwick. We were helped by a lovely couple who pointed us in the right direction. I would suggest the postcode is amended for future visitors. The hotel itself was superb and the staff very welcoming and helpful and a bonus of an on site car park. We visited the bowls event at Royal Leamington Spa and it was perfect for getting to the venue each day as so many closer hotels did not have parking at all.

The buffet breakfast was disappointing. Poor quality ingredients which felt they were chosen on being \"cheap\" which was a shame. The management team should try the breakfast and ask if they would be satisfied especially if they had paid more than £300 for B&B for one night.

Hotel was comfortable with lovely country views and a good buffet breakfast. Unfortunately there was no hot water when we arrived (around 7.30pm) so had cold showers. Otherwise happy with our visit.

We had a great time as a family staying in the family deluxe suite. We used the pool facilities on both days of our stay. The splash time hours were really good so it allowed us to explore the area but still use the facilities. Breakfast- good selection kids had plenty to choose from. Overall great hotel and we will definitely be back next year same week as it was great location for access to the NEC

Amazing break

It was our first time ar the hotel and we had a lovely 2 night break. All staff were very friendly and our room was very comfortable and spacious. The leisure facilities were also excellent. I highly recommend this hotel. Thank you!

Had a really good stay with my husband, mum and our disabled son. The staff couldn’t do enough fir us when we took him swimming, they organised a room near the pool for us all to change and put out ramps for our sons wheelchair. Special mention to Amy for helping us.

All round great stay

Lovely hotel. My friend and I were visiting Warwick for the night and stumbled upon the Chesford and were really pleasantly surprised. Beautiful interior. Great price for the location and quality of hotel. The staff were polite and helpful and the room was clean and comfortable. There was an event going on the same night we were there, but we didnt hear a thing. We didn't have time to try the spa this stay unfortunately, but we hope to be back. We paid extra for breakfast and there was plenty to choose from, and staff were really good with providing vegetarian options for my friend. Would recommend!
