Room 4 is quite small, and was affected by the noise from a nearby extractor fan being turned on and off at various points in the night, and in the morning cooking smells were coming into the room. I would ask to avoid this room when booking again.

Wow. This was an amazing experience. The woman who greeted and took care of us (Emma?) was the most wonderful host and the hardest working person I have ever met. The room was fantastic with a great view and the experience in general was magical.
The only downside was that the published open times for the tavern were not correct and the links in their welcome books seemed broken. Everything else, fantastic. A great find in a historic space. Worth every penny.

Because the building is old and only single glazing and high ceilings we managed to keep the bedroom warm by closing the curtains but could not use the lovely bathroom as it was freezing cold and large room the towel rail would never have manage to heat the room such a shame as the bath looked so inviting and big and was one of the main reasons we booked

At the heart of Warwick, the accommodation location was just spot on. My room was clean and comfortable, but I think it and the public corridors are perhaps in need of a refresh now (something that was in a previous review as well). I’m ex military, so maybe my eye is rather sharper than most on this, but I can only tell you as I see it. I did not have the provided breakfast; I’m an early riser, so I did not want to wait until 8 am … I took in Greggs instead (a 1 minute walk away). I arrived and left by train … the station was an easy and pleasing 15 minute walk away.

We absolutely loved our room at The Old Coffee Tavern. The staff were lovely, the location was perfect and we loved the high ceiling and historic feel to the place. It was very clean and we appreciated the little touches like biscuits by the kettle and water in the fridge. The only thing that stopped this review from being \"excellent\" was the breakfast - it was a continental breakfast and we found that the pastries were stale, so the options were really only cereal, fruit, bread and cereal bars (points for offering oat milk though!). We honestly were a little bit disappointed but other than that we loved our stay here and would stay again!

Lovely little place in a central location within walking distance to all main attractions. Clean & friendly hotel but also small & intimate with helpful staff. Trendy bar with nice outside terrace. Lovely tasty cooked breakfast at the weekend only, continental rest of time. Nice to have a small fridge in the room too. Bit of a squeeze around one side of the bed but enjoyed the a relax in a bath for a change.

Super location for what I require, always enjoy staying here, however, I was disappointed to be told after I had set off early to make it in good time to dine that evening, with it being a Sunday, I didn't want to have to rely on the hope that places would be open/or available.

I had a fantastic stay, I arrived after 5 pm, and parking was outside the front door, free between 5 pm and 9 am which worked perfectly for my stay.
It has a good menu, I had the prawn starter followed by haddock and chips, which was fantastic.

Location couldn’t have been better, right in the centre next to the bars and restaurants. Rooms are small but adequate and clean. Staff are so friendly, checking in and out was easy. Highly recommend a visit to Warwick and if you’re staying overnight, stay here as everything is close by, make sure you head to Ronnie’s bar for a couple of drinks and live music, and highly recommend Saffron Gold if you fancy a curry - all only a few minutes walk. The market is on in the square on Saturday mornings and it’s really good.

The Old Coffee Tavern was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we walked in it was extremely inviting, and the staff were very friendly and gave us lots of tips for the area. To get to our room we had to walk up two flights of stairs which may not be ideal for others, but fine for us with limited luggage. Our room was cozy, comfortable and quiet with a great view of the cathedral tower outside our window. There are USB ports in the wall which is perfect if you forgot to bring an international adapter or just need extra plugs. The shower was great and we slept amazingly. It was very quiet in spite of being on top of a very busy pub on a Saturday! The pub itself had wonderful food and a great drink selection, and breakfast being included was a huge bonus. It was also within walking distance of the main square with tons of bars, restaurants and shops. We would absolutely stay here again!! We loved everything about it :)

We had a very comfortable stay in this lovely hotel, and the location was fantastic, right in the centre, so everything was very walkable. Parking was surprisingly easy, with pay and display spaces in the street for unloading and short stays, and a car park for longer stays close by.

We stayed a couple of nights during a freak heatwave, with the hottest day on record, and the hotel management rose to the challenge and did their best to make sure we were comfortable. So many hotels rip you off with overpriced water in the room, so this was a lovely perk.

However the shower never ran hot, it was barely warm which was disappointing and we weren’t told that the kitchen closed at 8 when we arrived at 7, so missed the opportunity to eat at the pub.
