Easy and personal check in. The host was friendly and very welcoming, showed us around and explained how everything works. The place and our room not only looked clean but smelled clean. No smokey nor musty smell. Staff was warm, friendly and very helpful. Rooms were warm and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. We would highly recommend staying here.

The building is very old and extremely noisy. We stayed on the third floor, and there was no elevator. Carrying luggage up a very narrow staircase, with multiple heavy doors that had to be opened at each floor, was very difficult.

The furniture is extremely outdated, and the beds are uncomfortable. We needed a third bed, and the only option provided was an old, spring-based foldable bed that sagged so much you could feel the floor underneath. The owner initially tried to charge an additional $20 for this bed, but agreed to refund it after we complained about the experience.

We had booked two nights but ended up staying only one night and decided to return home instead.

Checking in is between 4 -8 pm only. If you want to check in an hour early you have to pay $20. If you arrive after 8 pm, you see no receptionist. You pick up your key from the entrance and help yourself in.

Don't let the room pictures trick you.

Wonderful historic B&B

Absolutely wonderful stay-it is in an older section of the town, but very safe--The Globe was built in the 1800s The owner was amazing-the breakfast was great and loved meeting other guests. We arrived on a Harley and wanted to walk to get dinner-it was a holiday and everything was closed and the owner actually saw us walking-picked us up and took us somewhere to get a bite to eat-what customer service!! Our room was perfect!

This bed and breakfast is really unique and romantic, it’s perfect for a couple nights with your loved one. The jacuzzi was relaxing, the room was decorated very nicely, and the atmosphere was comfortable. My girlfriend and I had two events for the two nights we stayed and I regretted not having more time to spend in the room, this bed and breakfast is an experience itself, not just a place to stay the night. I highly recommend it, it was very enjoyable.

This is the best place! Everything about it is fantastic. From the large, beautifully appointed rooms which feature a gas fireplace and large jacuzzi tub, satellite TV, the extremely comfortable bed and pillows, the service, and the breakfast to the cleanliness and the staff whose attention to detail is superb, I can’t think of anywhere else I would go to relax and renew. The prices are fantastic too! Decided to stay an extra day so had to move upstairs to a smaller room which had a fully stocked kitchenette ready to prepare your meals. This is a hidden gem!

A must for people looking for a small town get away and a nice romantic evening. If your one of those travelers like me that are on the go and are tired of staying at a cookie cutter hotel then why not stay here for a home cooked breakfast and nice room for the same price! We stayed here for the Allentown Fair as we didn’t want to pay overpriced rates in dowtown Allentown and wanted a country feel.

The Globe Inn was amazing

The Globe was one of the best hotels i’ve stayed in . i love the Victorian look and the history of the inn. the rooms could be a little updated but it was lovely and comfortable. the jacuzzi tub felt amazing . i was afraid there wasn’t a lot to do but we attended a wonderful festival in Kutztown and went to a car museum not too far away . the staff at the inn was so friendly and the breakfast was delicious. it was included in the stay and made to order . i was also happy to see all the coffee syrups at breakfast as my boyfriend and i like flavored coffee. it was a wonderful stay .

We has a nice stay, the lady who check us in was wonderful. Sadly, the bed way to soft (felt like I was sleeping in a hole) so we didn't get any sleep and the shower was not designed for someone who is 6 foot tall. We left early Sunday (Before 8 am), and there was no one around to check us out and handover our room keys.

Great breakfast, confusing check in time

It was nice that they had a little kitchenet and the staff was super nice, the made to order breakfast was really cool. Im giving 4 stars because I went to check in at 3pm but check in was at 4 so I was waiting in the heat from 2-3 thinking I was going to check in but then had to call the # and found out that check in was at 4. Then I came back at 807 and turns out after 8 check in is late so you cant check in except they leave a key for you. I would have liked to know beforehand, that's all!

Fantastic place to stay! The rooms are cute and extremely clean! The hot tub was pretty relaxing after a night out at the ballpark! The made to order breakfast was a perfect end to a stay at this super cool property! Highly recommend and would definitely stop back for a stay!

Cook-to-order breakfast and cozy rooms

Fantastic hotel experience! The receptionist waited after hours for us to make sure we found our rooms and were comfortable. The rooms are all very different with interesting decor and a very cozy feel. And the breakfast! I did not expect cook-to-order omelets, but that is what we got.

I had a tough late night flight into town and they were super considerate and communicative! The manager (owner I’m guessing) was super friendly as was the staff in the mornings! This will be my go to when visiting for business in the Philadelphia region. Only problem was the stairs!! Those are super narrow and I have a bad knee but I made it work!

Relaxing escape

Our second stay was just as nice as our first. The Globe is a totally relaxing experience. Unique rooms, great breakfast and an amazing in-room jacuzzi. Highly recommended and we'll go there again.
