Very nice hotel with no major issues. Staff was extremely helpful and responsive. Breakfast area on 8th floor was beautiful with great views, and included service of coffee, lattes, etc. We had New Year's Eve dinner there (also on the 8th floor) which was also excellent.

The hotel was in a superb location.
Everything was very good except that the view from our bedroom was of several air conditioners of the hotel
within a few feet from our balcony. We were not informed of this so ensure you clarify before booking as several rooms have this view.
The service in the dining room was terrible. It seems that there was only one chef who prepared everything which took aged to come . On one occasion we had to cancel our desert because we waited 45 minutes for it.
The restaurant seemed more concerned with serving drinks from the bar .
Apart from that all staff provided a great service.

The property is very well located, in the center proper, not more than a few hundred meters from the high street, yet the spot is quiet. The rooms are clean, well maintained, the air-con is working, the breakfasts served are very good with decent choice of food to cater to all reasonable requirements, and the staff is professional, helpful and friendly.

Despite website stating that there was a restaurant on 8th floor, this does not exist. there is a bar at ground level with a limited menu.
Reception was understaffed. No information e.g. leaflets or posters for events/attractions for tourists.
Would describe the hotel as sterile and bland.

A well placed hotel near to the shops and many of the attractions. The staff are friendly and helpful. The bedrooms are comfortable/well equipped and the breakfasts offer a good selection of cooked and \"continental\" options. Small criticism is the long wait to book in - only one member of staff on duty to cater for bookings when flights arrive.

Comfortable, well appointed, and very clean. Staff were lovely. They have a very nice patio and a very nice pool area. Eight at the restaurant one night, limited choices, but food that we had was very nice. Very reasonably priced very close to the shops and walking distance to the cable car to climb the rock. Traveled on EasyJet without any issues. All in all a great trip.

The Eliott was perfect for us - a clean, spacious room with easy late check-in, great central location, and convenient parking. We needed a portable bed, which they quickly provided, and the room did not feel crowded. All of the staff were friendly and very helpful. The pool, sun deck, lobby/bar, and outdoor patio are lovely. If you're scrolling through endless options for places to stay in Gibraltar, I highly recommend choosing The Eliott. I am so glad I did!

It's the little things that make a difference.

We stayed for (3) nights, mid-March. The hotel is well-positioned to the town centre, an easy 10/15min walk (for the abled-bodied) down to Casemates Sq. Shops around the corner from hotel. Staff were very helpful, friendly and accommodating. Enjoyable and varied breakfasts in the rooftop restaurant, great views over the city and distant harbour.
Breakfast prices could be more flexible depending on what you choose to eat, rather than at a fixed price.

Bedrooms are big and reasonably well-equipped. Comfortable (huge) beds. Use the pillow-menu if you're pillow precious. Useful mini-fridge in the room. Housekeeping attends every morning to replenish, but they could ask guests if you want to reuse towels rather than fresh ones 'every' day - to help with environmental waste / impact. Shower good but cubical leaked onto bathroom floor every time - annoying. (Room 409).

Generally, room sound-proofing not fabulous, heard neighbours TV and showers running every night / morning so had to wear earplugs.
It might be helpful for hotel to provide room notices for guests to be mindful of adjoining rooms and TV / noise levels etc., also most doors seemed to squeak so again unnecessary noise intrusions if you're a light-sleeper. Understandably, this is hard to control but guests just need to be made more aware of these things by the hotel to make it more pleasant for everyone. All in all a enjoyable stay.

First time staying here and will definitely return. Room was perfect! Front desk staff was very nice. Only cons were that there was not luggage assistance and the staff answering the phone for room service weren’t very friendly. But the food from the restaurant was wonderful and delivered quickly.

Not impressed of the hotel it was dirty attention to detail non existence. Breakfast not good we stayed for 2 days once we went for the breakfast the first morning we never went again not good not sure how the breakfast room would cater for all clients as very small. Small selection of food.would not recommend the place over priced not a 4 star never may be a 3star

Luxury in a great location.

We love the Elliot. The rooms are always clean and tidy spacious with a fridge to put your beer in. A large tv showing all terrestrial channels along with Sky Sports. There is a swimming pool on the top but we didn't get in, we just lazed around on the sun loungers.

Gibraltar worth a trip

Very efficient friendly staff. Anything we needed was dealt with immediately; nothing was a problem. Breakfast was very good and served in lovely room by pool and overlooking the sea . Only disappointment was balcony too small too sit on no chairs or table . Rooms were a good size and plenty of everything provided including bottled water daily and chocolates . Would definitely recommend staying here . Hotel is very central too .

3 night stay. Had an executive room with large balcony. Balcony had sun loungers and table and chairs which was great for sun bathing and pre dinner drinks on the evening. Hotel fairly central and was about 10 minutes walk to cable car and 19 minutes walk to Casemates square m. Also just off Main Street with all the shops and dining options. Buffet breakfast was good and nice bar for late evening drinks. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

We loved the hotel, it was quiet, our room (a Superior King) was nice, spacious & clean. The bed was comfy & we slept well but I did find the room a little warm & the A/C was tricky to master & keep on for a long period. We had a great view of the Rock. A buffet breakfast is served on the 8th Floor with good views of the surrounding area. There is a small range of hot & cold food available including fried eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms, sausages, bacon & hash browns. Scrambled eggs & omelettes can be ordered. Staff were friendly & helpful. We didn't use the pool but it looked a lovely area. The location of the hotel is quite central to most sights, either by walking, taxi or local bus. I do think more information of what to see & do could be made available in the hotel reception.
The hotel is lovely but I was less taken with Gibraltar itself. It seems to be a place people visit for a day. We enjoyed the cable car, the rock & the nature park & now we've seen that have no reason to return. We found the Tourist Information Centre less than helpful.
The hotel is just off Main Street where you will find a shopping area & a few eating places, mainly Fish & Chip style eateries.
We used the No 5/10 Bus to get there from the border, getting off at Commonwealth Park walking via the Cathedral, Main Street & Library Street, V easy. We used a taxi back to the airport (£16-17).
Would I recommend the hotel? Yes. Would I recommend Gibraltar? Probably Not & would depend on reasons for going.

For a 4* hotel there was a lack of tea,coffee water in the room ... Not frequently replenished ... I felt awful having to ask at reception for coffee to take to my room ..

I ordered room service ( breakfast) not received what was ordered although staff were there straight away to sort it , it arrived to our room cold.
The room was clean and comfortable

We asked to be moved to another room , the staff were so accommodating. Thank you

Having said that, it's twice I have stayed there.
It hasn't put me off returning.

A little tired. Furnishings were dated. Lights in lifts felt more like a hospital than hotel. Friendly staff. Room safe was not fixed to the wall and I had to ask for maintenance to get it screwed in. Breakfast was not good value for money.

Overall a really good place to stay. My only minor issue was the lifts. Theres only 2 and there used by not only the guests but staff as well. This means you often have to share the lift with a food trolly or cleaners trolly. No stair option as its for fire escape only as far as im aware, they also seem to take an age as they are in constant heavy use.... but its a minor problem really.

The Elliott is a great hotel to stay in if you want to be central. A two minute walk to Main Street and a ten minute walk to Casemates. Ocean Village is a leisurely 15 min walk. I had an executive room which was huge and at the top of the hotel with wonderful views. The hotel offers room service as well as having a great dining/bar area. It has a Cosmopolitan feel and I would definitely stay here again.

Front desk and breakfast staff provide friendly, efficient service and make guest feel welcome with their warm smiles and polite, helpful demeaner, especially Elisabeth.
Rooms are attractively decorated with comfortable beds and fabuouls baths. Bottles of procecco and chocolates were a very appreciated welcome gift! Will be back.

Loved every minute of staying at the Elliot.
Room was spacious, beds were the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in in all my years of holidaying. Staff couldn’t do enough for you, and so friendly. Lovely breakfast if there wasn’t something on the breakfast Buffett you required they would make sure it was there the next day.

Unfortunately we only had a quick one night stay, honestly wish it was longer. The hotel is fantastically located to Main Street, The Rock walking tracks and the Gondola. We had a vehicle and parking was incredibly easy, about 20 meters from the front door (in the middle is Gibralter!!)
The staff are great, super friendly and very helpful. We upgraded to a suite on the top floor with a massive balcony with amazing views over the harbour and the city. The gym is probably better equiped than most globogyms. Brilliant hotel, highly recommend
