The room was fine. But there was no one at the desk when I arrived at 11 pm. And multiple other guests were already waiting. One had finally someone. And that person still didn’t arrive for another 5 minutes after I arrived. The person was helpful and pleasant. But I think management needs to rethink their staffing plan - especially when they’re offering lower prices for same-day reservations.

We had an issue with a nearby room playing music very loudly at 1am despite quiet hours starting at 10pm. Woke my husband and I both up. Around 1:30 we called the front desk who said they would “take care of it”. Music finally stopped at 3am. Obviously not the hotel’s fault that people don’t comply with rules but we expected it to take far less than 90 minutes to get ahold of a room to tell them to quiet down. We missed breakfast due to our interrupted sleep so that was disappointing as well.

The staff was nice. The location is easy to find. Your room will only be cleaned every three days. They said they would clean it more often if you ask…I asked. They didn’t clean it more. The shower is freezing cold. The bathtub doesn’t hold water. The breakfast is mediocre at best. We were the first ones at breakfast and the bread items were crunchy and stale. The pool is tiny. If you are on a limited budget and want an experience similar to camping this would be it.

The next room had what appeared to be a blood stain on the pull out mattress and we found a prescription pill. Good thing I found it and not my 4 yr old. Due to this I will not be staying at this hotel again.

The staff was very busy at check-in due to the concert at Ruoff, and they were very kind, and helpful. This hotel is about a 15/20 walk to Ruoff. It was worth it to us to not to have to deal with the traffic. The bar was open before and after the concert. She was super nice!
