The room was fine, though the heater did not work well. However, I was very frustrated to find out that there was no hot water. Showering in cold water and then driving in cold conditions was an unpleasant, though bracing, way to begin the day. When I told the people at the front desk in the morning, they could not have been less interested. Very sad for a good brand like Marriott to treat their customers this way.

What happened to Marriott brands?
We stayed at the Castleton (Indiana) one this past weekend and . . well . . the room was very clean; that’s the best I can say and maybe that’s enough for you. On the other hand:
The wall thermostat was broken (or never was operational) so we had a floor unit beside the window that sounded like a propeller forcing air from the far end of the room.
Yet, the ambiance was fitting for a room with only one device port. In 2026, at a Hilton hotel, there is one only device port (Type A) and that’s not even part of the room - it’s on the alarm clock.
Perhaps other rooms are better? I considered requesting a different room since ours was located next to the ice machine. Alas, the ice machine is broken and I’m guessing that they all are.
Sadly, we brought along kids who excitedly hoped to use the “featured” indoor pool. Thinking I was being proactive, I actually called beforehand to confirm that the pool was operational (since it was the key factor in our reservation); I was assured by the front desk that it was. Yes, it is “functioning” but at a very cold 73 degrees - only one kid could survive the cold pool and only barely. We then asked that the pool temperature be warmed, we were assured that it would be, but 3 days later and still just as cold.
One advertisement says of this hotel that it has “free breakfast;” but we discovered that the only breakfast is for purchase.
In the end, this is a good place to go if you only want a clean room.

We notified the hotel a few days before, the day of and when we checked in that my husband had a severe allergy to down and feather bedding. We were assured that we were given hypo allergenic rooms, However, late into our stay we discovered 3 out of 4 pillows in our room were feather! This explained why my husband had become ill over the weekend. After checkout I immediately contacted the hotel and was told to leave a message(Sunday). Bu Tuesday I had not heard back to I called again and the Manager that I spoke to was beyond rude and had no business being in that type of role. While our conversation was heated, he did state they would allow a refund for our room. (We had initially booked two rooms). Also, I have pictures of the pillows.

We had a room on the ground floor on the interior half on the hotel were there was a nice courtyard. Having a sliding door that gave us easy access and had 2 chairs and a small table on our own little patio was nice. The doors to the building from the parking areas other than the main entrance were secure 24 hours a day which gave us a nice sense of safety having said sliding door on our room. The tv had a welcome message on it when we entered our room, which was a new experience for us. The courtyard had a couple of seating areas and a fire pit that we didn't get to inquire about. The bed was fine and the room and halls didn't have any odd smells. For the price we paid and the location, it was a great stay. We would definitely recommend it and will stay here again when we come back for sure.

We arrived late in the evening for our reservation. We had been heading back from Ohio and the eclipse celebrations. The gentleman at the front desk was extremely helpful and gave a very good description of the hospital amenities. He was super friendly and assured us that if we needed anything, he would be more than happy to accommodate. The room was very clean and spacious. It was quiet and the beds were very comfortable. Hotel is located in a convenient location. Check in was quick and easy. The clerk was very friendly and helpful. The room itself was nice. Bed was comfy. My only complaint is that the walk in shower needed attention as there was what appeared to be mildew or mold growing in the shower itself. Other than that, no complaints.

We chose this hotel because they had a pool my son and I checked in and went right up to our room and changed for a swim (it is July ) only to find a note on the door that the pool closed due to maintenance I contacted the manager on duty Chris and he was NO HELP he directed me to the stack of business cards and said to contact the GM Julie so I did and she was NO help. I do believe this hotel charges extra due to the fact they have a pool and they should IF IT IS WORKING if not adjust the rates the guest should be informed at the time of check in or a sign at the front desk so we can make our own decision if we want to stay/pay for something we are not receiving bad business practices we will not be staying at Courtyard by Marriott in the future

We have stayed here on several occasions. However this time we were disappointed that the room was tainted with smoke where a previous guest had smoked on the balcony and left cigarette butts in a cup outside by the air conditioner intake. There was also some questionable stains on the couch. The price had also gone up more than $150 for the night. It was the most expensive hotel in the area and its cleanliness, having to pay for breakfast and its weak slow internet did not justify the cost. On the plus side the bed was comfortable.

Check in was quick and easy. Parking is terrible. 90% of it is behind the building which the desk didnt tell us. The toilet didnt have enough power to flush. Theres a blinking light right above the head of the bed. Very small room! Pillows were tiny and flat and the blankets were thin.

The bed was AMAZING! Best sleep I've had in a while and completely unusual for me at a hotel. This property is small but perfect for our needs. We were having renovation done to our house and needed to vacate for a few nights. It would have been even better if there were more premium channels available on the tv and if the WiFi were better. But if we have to leave our home again, we will definitely choose this hotel.
