Obviously this was an older Holiday Inn and some upgrades and renovations had been made, which we appreciated. Overall, the hotel was clean and the breakfast and lobby areas were nice. We didn’t do breakfast so I can’t comment on the that.
I would say the most dissatisfying part of our stay was that the room doors were not soft close. Unfortunately, many people aren’t considerate and let their doors slam shut every time they enter and leave their rooms. We were awakened many times throughout the early morning hours. One of the culprits of letting the door slam was actually an employee. We asked if the door could be shut a little softer, but he didn’t understand English. He did, however, contact the front desk and they called our room and we were able to explain our frustration.

I was a little worried about booking a room here, but only because it was super inexpensive. When I got to the hotel, the overnight counter person was extremely kind. It was around 3am and I’m sure he knew I was ready for bed. The check in time was maybe 90 seconds.

On the way to the room, I noticed how clean and beautiful the hotel really was. Once I got to my room, my final fear vanished as fast as it was formed. The room was spotless. Bed comfortable. And very spacious.

When we got to our room there was dried urine all over the toilet seats . Bathroom door wouldn’t shut , rooms door didn’t lock properly. Bathroom was gross . You have to pay for breakfast which i was unaware of . I paid an absurd amount to stay in a hotel where only the front portion is new and the rooms were gross. so don’t be fooled by the photos . The room portion is an old building they added on to. And the walk to your rooms from the front is ridiculous. The guy who runs breakfast however was fantastic. Very friendly and helpful. This would not be a place I would choose to stay again . Over priced

The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The room/hotel just seems to be really dated. You could see daylight all around the door frame and the curtains did not close, there were only sheers, so for a lite sleeper like myself, the light was pesky for sound sleep. I expected USB/USB-C plug ins for devices but there were only traditional plugs. Then the shower pressure and temp were only satisfactory. Overall, the staff was friendly and the room clean and comfortable, just probably need of some updates.

The evening desk staff were great! One man was Chase and I didn’t catch the other gentleman’s name. Both were courteous and went above and beyond to be helpful.

Our rooms were both clean and well taken care of. The fitness and pool areas were also great and clean.

The breakfast was well worth the extra $5 charge. Lots of fresh fruit, which was a pleasant surprise. We were hoping for “hotel waffles” but there were enough other options.

The only irritant was that our keys didn’t work well, but that wasn’t an impossible challenge.

The clerk that checked me in was helpful. He did fail to mention that the breakfast (after I shared with him my additional guest and that we would be eating breakfast), that I needed to get tickets. I learned of the this the next morning while attempting to dine. The night help showed up 10mins before the hour that the pool closed, and wanted me and my crew out so that he could service the area. Of course I advised him to speak with the clerk to confirm the time we were expected out. The hit/cold water label in the shower was upside down, and the water never heated past lukewarm. However, the sink water was piping hot! I had to call down for more linen due to their only being two washcloths/ 4towels in the room, for 5guest! The reviews posted is what encouraged my decision to book two rooms, but I learned otherwise. Anyone traveling with children know how stressful things can get when you have to go over things multiple times, and keep a group of children in order!

The bed was lumpy and old, the coffee maker didn't work for two days after reporting it two times, two lights didn't work in the room, the tissue ran out and never replaced, the cleaning staff slid a piece of paper under the door on two days at 7:15 AM stating they weren't going to clean the room and the cleaning staff woke me up at 6:45 on 3 days because they were so loud in the hallway.

The hotel itself is beautiful with affordable accommodations. Our room was clean and beds were comfortable. I was so comfy I feel as though I may need to find out where they purchase their pillows and bedding. The restaurant in the lobby made for an easy time deciding on dinner. The pizza there is very affordable for a decent size.
