Foul Experience

I couldn’t check in on my day due to lateness to work, I then came to check in at 6am next day. Only for them to tell me I cannot check in again. Meaning I have lost money for 5day stay.
This location is not safe. People are at the front desk asking for their money back; and that they cannot continue to stay.

Arrived to the hotel, they had no power in part of the hotel and had flooding in the lower level, so they cancelled all the reservations. Probably for the best, as the lobby stank of smoke and mold, and had multiple unpatched holes in the drywall

First, I got there they didn’t have the room that I reserved. They gave me a room. It smelled like cigarettes already in it very dirty and then didn’t even have the sufficient amount of beds that were needed. Then the machine they used to create the cards to get into the room doesn’t even work well I will. I had to make several trips up and down the stairs. OK then they found a room where I can get two beds. OK wish we went in there. heater doesn’t work, smell like cigarettes the place was legitimately dirty. The second bed was so bad that you can physically see the bedsprings and feel them as you lay on the bed. Then I asked if we wore my options if I can get accommodated, they basically said they can refund me, but I would get my money in two weeks so my options were to stay in that room or find another hotel on top of the money. I’ve already spent. Then when I got there, I had to play security deposit for the room Still never received it. then I didn’t even have Linning for the secondary bed so the guy just handed me a bunch of sheets no blanket cause they didn’t have anymore and on top of that sheets had blood stains on them so that I was so disgusted I didn’t even sleep with them. It was very cold outside. Woke up as sick as a dog just because I didn’t have money for another hotel. i’m not exaggerating, but the day was about 13° outside and it felt about the same inside. There was a lot of lizards and I’m pretty sure the receptionist at the front desk knew about it.

I had an amazing extended stay at this hotel, and I cannot say enough good things about my experience—especially thanks to Ruby! From the moment I arrived, she was incredibly helpful, courteous, and went above and beyond to ensure all my needs were met. Her warm and professional demeanor made me feel more than just a guest; she truly made me feel at home.

Ruby consistently checked in to make sure everything was perfect during my stay, offering assistance with anything I needed and always doing so with a smile. It's rare to find someone so dedicated to guest satisfaction, and I believe she truly deserves recognition for her outstanding service. MOVE ON! DO NOT STAY HERE! SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE!

I would strongly advise against staying here for several reasons. Unlike other hotels, this one refused our request for early check-in, even though we arrived just 30 minutes early after getting caught in a rainstorm and we were all sopping to the bone wet. The front desk insisted on charging an early check-in fee, and despite explaining our situation, they wouldn’t make an exception. We were forced to wait in our car, which was incredibly frustrating and uncomfortable.

Additionally, the hotel was not well-maintained. The lobby floors were dirty, and at least 10 people were smoking weed right outside the front entrance.

We had booked a 3-night stay but left after just one night due to concerns for our safety. Getting my money for the 2nd & 3rd night were a long & difficult time sucker.

I would NEVER EVER recommend anyone to stay here in the future. Do yourself a big favor and spend your money elsewhere.

It was awful!! Dirty bathroom vent fan, stained pull out mattress, no trash can, dirty kitchen cabinets, sticky carpet, no extra blankets. Even though I reserved it for three people we only had two bath towels, one wash cloth and no hand towel. I asked for more and was told inventory was low/none were clean. It smelled throughout the entire building and gave an unsafe feeling. Will never stay again!!

I wouldn’t stay here again ever

For starters there was no mention anywhere that this place did not have elevators. I have terrible sciatica and my dad is handicap. Did the front desk care about that? Nope. When you first walk in the room oh my goodness the smell was horrible. There was stuff in the fridge, dirt on the bath tube. The pull out mattress was the worst and had no sheets. Though they knew they knew we were using it. The beds were terrible. As much as they charge for goodness sakes get new beds that aren’t just like laying on springs. The flat sheet you have to constantly adjust to stay on the rather dirty mattress. Also you have to bring everything kitchen if you want to cook. I have stayed at plenty of these hotels as a traveling nurse and they provided some items. But this place had absolutely nothing. And you call that breakfast? Glad I brought my overnight oats. Also it runs until 9am they ran out of coffee by 730 and “couldn’t refill it.” Actually they were out of much of everything by 730 am. Only good thing is that this the staff were friendly and they said hi to you everytime you walked in the door. At night the parking lot always has been just hanging around. It’s kind of loud actually.

When it was time for me to go wash up, I checked my wash rack and my towels and there was dirty. I felt very unsafe. The place was not clean at all. A lot of strange people hangout there. Found out a homicide happened the day before. I immediately checked out. However, although this wasn't prepaid and was to be paid upon check in, this facility charged my card on check in AND double charged the card I have on file with the hotels.com app. That should have never been allowed to happen. I will no longer keep a card on file.

Not a place anyone more than mildly disabled - stairs required Except for entrance next to Dumpster - there you have choice of uneven, downward slanting concrete ending with a door in front of a sewer grating where water (or snow and ice- both occurred during stay) build up: or two large stepping stones with no railing leading to the same grating... Also a Large pothole in the entrance ramp. Shower head wasn't tight - sprayed water over the curtain soaking bathroom floor.

Simply unbelievable and not in a good way!

Not much to tell. Never even made it to a room. Instead was told upon arrival that they ran out of linens so only one of our two beds would actually be made. This topped with the uneasy feeling we had walking in seeing a near by parked cars window broken and realizing that their \"included breakfast\" area was oatmeal packets and hot water I feel like we dodged a bullet by cancelling!

Other than being dirty and out dated, The property next door was extremely close and it would have been nice to have a sheer curtain under the heavy curtains. I couldn’t open the curtains because you can see directly into all the rooms in the hotel next door. The carpet was dirty and my room had a burn in the floor. There was a gap in the bottom of the front door allowing you to hear everything. Last but not least I had to kill a roach. I took my things and went to my car.

This is the worst hotel I’ve ever been to. The entire hotel, including our room, smelled awful. There were stains on the sheets, gnats everywhere in the room, wallpaper peeling, unwiped surfaces in the room, and we thought the front desk employee who had his pants sagging around his knees was a guest outside until we walked in and he walked behind the counter. We didn’t stay longer than 20 minutes before we checked out.

Check in was hectic, the man working was filling in from another hotel, no other staff was there - including house keeping. I arrived around 3:30pm and was told our room wasn't ready - still had to be cleaned. (Which he had done for the guests before and after me from what I heard). When I got to our room, there were no towels, no kitchen items (dishes, utensils, pots/pans) which we had planned to use during the weekend, the room had an stale scent, and sheets were a little stained.

The man working Friday night was very pleasant and obviously had been dealing with a lot that day. The lady who took over for the rest of the weekend was also pleasant and helpful.

Front desk had not received request for no stairs, so we were moved to lower level with entrance by the dumpster. Sidewalk was uneven, and back door did not accept card key. Room was nice, but only one small trash can. no special amenities, but it was comfortable for just staying overnights. Had to have card key reactivated for second night. No breakfast, just a muffin.

I was very disappointed. On Friday April 29th, i woke upvery sick and throew up and the lady at the front desk told me that i have to be the one to clean up everything.
The bed cover and the bed sheets have all stains. I requested these to be replaced and the lady refused. I stayed in fir four nights and the room was not cleaned even one. The sink in the bathroom was blocked.

A lot need to be done in this hotel. If not, i will not recommend it.

I usually have nothing but positive things to say about my stays with the Extended Stay because they are extremely well kept then staff in all my past experiences at other locations were pleasant to deal with. This location however I was treated with anything but hospitality and hope the person that was working on 3/19/2022 receives some sort of training on professionalism and learn to be sensitive to the needs of paying guest. I paid for my room online before i left for Indianapolis and when I arrived my room had been sold and i was basically told to kick rocks my room was sold because i hadn't paid for it but i when i checked my credit card i was charged and when i let the front desk person who wouldn't give her name know she had it wrong my room was paid for she told me i paid hotels.com not her so i haven't paid extended stay and called the police on me and my girl and kicked me and another person that she did the same thing to out of the lobby. The other person had ubered over and didn't even have a car.

Worst experience ever

Overall the stay was difficult and disappointing. We were in town for the Big Ten Championship, did all the procedures to check in after the time allowed and our key was still not available when we arrived. We were then told that there was no way to get said key due to the system being off for the evening. needless to say we went into panic mode calling all other hotels in the area only to find that they were all booked as we expected. After what seemed like an hour, the attendant miraculously was able to get access to our room and suddenly able to get a key as well. Roughly an hr after we had arrived and made 10 calls to try a find another room. Only then were we helped and put in a disgusting room were the flooring was a peeling up and the air unit saw was broken and making noise all night. Needless to say we slept and got out as soon as we woke up in the morning. We were not the only group to have issues. We saw as many as five others either not being given keys or their rooms were also not available like ours. I would love a refund!! but I doubt anyone reads these things

After driving a little over 4 hours, we get to the hotel to learn there is no rooms available. The guy outside was more informative then the guy at the desk. Still havent recieved my refund. The friendly guy outside told us to try the extended stay across the highway and they might have a room for us. I wont be spending my money with them anymore. I went down the highway and stayed at the holiday inn.

Property was locked overnight and our key could not let us in. We tried calling several times and no one would answer the machine. We were not told that the lobby and reception would be locked. We waited in our car for over 3 hours until an employee eventually let us in. That was terrible service on the hotel for not letting us know. We had a terrible experience and barely got any sleep. Please contact the hotel! We demand a a half refund!

A $100 additional deposit was added at check-in. We were told it was a damage deposit if we were to smoke in the rooms. Three of our eight rooms smelled of smoke. They were able to relocate those the next day. Rooms were well worn but clean. Most of the staff was friendly and helpful. Location is good. There were several dining options nearby including Texas Roadhouse, Famous Daves, El Mezcal Mexican, Dennys, and others.

This is a very old building, the curtain in the windows look like there are from the 80 the beds are really uncomfortable i had to buy a foam mattress pad to lay on it. In two weeks that i stayed towels were never change or room cleaned. Saw a lot of hourly stay by female with different companions. Desk employees helpful when available 7 to 7 no one at the desk.at night. Close to many places to eat an easy access to highway and city. Pest control came to fumigate for roaches during my stay. Had to vacate the room for 3 hours and leave the door unsafely prop open with all my belonging unattended.

Beware, they charged a $100 deposit, not a hold but a charge to be refunded AFTER check out and AFTER they inspected the room. The check out clerk was not on site till after 7 a.m. so because we had to leave before 7 a.m. if there was any dispute we would be unable to contest it. There was also a cockroach in the kitchen cabinets

Staff was friendlyish, hotel was ok condition and room was ok. Bathroom wasn’t that clean and there was only one tiny trash can for the whole room with a kitchenette

It was very affordable and it came with a kitchen and pots/dishes.. The area has everything around that tourists and visitors may need access to.. I liked the experience a lot!
