The hotel was ok but there was hardly ever a person at the front desk. I had to wait 10 minutes just to check in because there wasn’t anyone at the front desk. Also when I asked about a late checkout, the lady I spoke with told me they don’t do late checkouts and she was very rude and unprofessional. I will not be booking at this location again.

when i got to my room it was very cold so i turned on and i went to dinner after i got back room was still pretty cold so i went to check on and did it again manually but never worked. at 2 am room was extremely cold so i call front desk and they changed us to a new room. after packing everything uo and moved other room was ok heat worked but thermostat was not working properly i had to get up and turn heat off 3 times because thermostat wouldn’t work. on tap of all
of that towels are very old they didn't even give an apology or anything

Our room had various stains on the walls, carpet, curtains, and ceiling. Unfortunately most didn't look like common ware and tear. Most were large, and red or white. They didn't have the room we booked available but were kind enough to give us a similar one at the same price.

The cable was out… and we had to change hotels… my husband missed the Monday night football game, he was not happy driving all day so he could see that game, and some one hit a pole and there went the TV ! No TV the next morning either and we just moved to another hotel that afternoon!!

First, let me start off by saying Keisha was absolutely wonderful. The person after that was horrible. Long story short I ended up not even using my room. I ended up sleeping on the couch in the lobby and I had trouble and was stuck on the side of the road for a couple hours and I didn’t get in till 5:30 in the morning, and I was told by the person after Keisha that I had to check out by checkout would not work with me at all. I travel about three times a month and the only reason why I picked you was because of your pet friendly, but I will show you. I will pay more to stay somewhere else for from now on.

EV charger was the reason I booked this hotel. It was advertised and I even called to confirm. Once I arrived reception didn’t know anything about it and after calling management I was told it was out of order. Wasted my time and had to go find a charger 15 minutes away. Breakfast was not good and housekeeping tried to come in multiple times before checkout while I was showering.

No breakfast left. Room not clean. 2 of 3 mirrors not clean. Previous person's used soap in shower. Out of kleenex. Broken dresser. Dead bug on heater. Staff at desk forgot to program key. Asked about breakfast and were told it ended at 9. Paperwork in room and on line say it goes to 10. Gentleman at desk said there would be more breakfast coming. Checked back 30 minutes later and nothing changed.

Immediately when I got in my room the floor was covered with crumbs. Pulled back the bedding and hair strands were threaded into the sheets as well as the pillowcases. The tub clogged after taking a shower, which then clogged the toilet as well. Overall unhappy with my stay. Wouldn’t recommend.

The lobby was clean but the room was really worn. Bathroom floors were filthy,air conditioner vents were all broken and the desk marble top was broken also the chair was filthy and had cigarette burns all over it. The carpet was nasty and also had cigarette burns. The room smelled like marijuana and cigarette smoke.

This place was ROUGH. Grumpy desk people. The whole place wa broken down and filthy. Loud, inconsiderate guests in hallways. Towels left laying overnight around the pool and the towel cupboard completely empty. Breakfast was insane. I waited about 10 min for some eggs to be brought out, but when they came, it was a sheet tray of about 12-15 baked eggs. There were so many people waiting for those eggs. That's not very efficient. I'm sure they ran out again before all the people waiting could get any. I travel a lot and have pretty realistic expectations. I used to like best westerns. But the last three I've stayed at have been about the worst stays I've had in recent years. Should have been a red flag when the closest businesses were a janky looking fireworks store and a discount liquor store in a shared parking lot with the hotel. Never a good sign.

I knew I would be arriving late to the hotel, so I called early in the day to make sure the front desk staff knew I was coming and not to give away my prepaid reservation to another guest. The agent said that would not be a problem as the front desk is staffed 24 hours a day. When I arrived a little after 1:00 am, there was no one at the front desk to let me in to the lobby (the hotel door was locked ). I called the hotel and could hear the phone ringing through the locked door, but no one answered. I called several times (no answer), called Best Western’s call center (no answer), knocked on the door (to no avail) and finally went to sit in my car from where I could see the front desk. A man exited the hotel at one point to smoke cigarettes, but I did not approach him as I thought he was another guest. Eventually I was able to follow another guest into the lobby, and after several minutes of waiting for anyone to come to the front desk I asked the man who was chain smoking outside if he worked at the hotel. Sure enough, he was the front desk agent who made me wait 45 minutes in total before starting to check me in to my room. Horrible, horrible service. Rather than apologizing for the tremendous inconvenience he caused, he told me how many customers he turned away rather than giving away the room I paid for - like I should be grateful to him. I do not recommend this hotel and will not stay here again.

For a well known hotel chain, this has been one of the worst hotels we stayed at. Not clean at all. Did not see 1 person cleaning any part of the hotel. Fllors in the hallway and elevator was filthy. Pool was a mess with towels scattered everywhere. No water to be found in the hotel. No bottles of water at front desk and water fountain in gym broken. Find a better hotel.

The property in ghetto from the outside. Inside its ok but garbage was everywhere.. people were partying in the lobby with cases of beer and liquor bottles till after 2am .. people smoking weed down the hallways and from rooms.. vending machines only took cash the cards dident work on any of them.. staff was either busy taking with their friends or busy on their phones. Queen suite is NOT worth 200 a night.. especially with the parking lot light next the the room window and no black out curtians.. ac could not get the room cool.. its ok if your traveling and have no options but definitely not one to book in advance.. hotel does not match 1st pic on expedia as well..

Pool was dirty, large parties that used it the night before left their garbage. It wasn’t cleaned up until noon the next day. when I asked the staff when the pool was last cleaned, they said I don’t know. the room was OK but everywhere else in the hotel was dirty. The desk clerk would not complete my check out until housekeeping my room. I had planned on staying three days, after the first day, I wanted a refund, hotels.com was of no assistance.

It really bothers me to write a bad review, as I dont want anyones business to be negatively affected, i am only doing so so that the hotel management sees this and fixes these issues so it wont happen again to someone else.

After checking in late ar night, all i wanted to do was take a shower and go to sleep. I went into the bathroom and noticed some hair in the bathtub, so I called the front desknand asked to change rooms.
They gave me a new room. I checked the bathroom and unfortunately tgere was hair in the second bathtub as well. I called the front desk and asked to change rooms again.
At this point, the only rooms available were of an upgraded status and the front desk lady said she would have to charge me to upgrade.

When we arrived we had to wait for over an hour to check in as there was only one person working and multiple tournaments let out at the same time. The poor girl working had no help, rooms that said they were cleaned were not, rooms that did not apparently appear occupied in the system were. Multiple people returned to inform that there was someone else already in a room they were just checked into and received a key for as well. That lack of security was a concern for myself. We personally did not have any additional issues, and it was a fairly average otherwise clean hotel room for us to get some sleep before leaving early the next day for another tournament day. Would likely not stay here again, and wouldn’t recommend.

There was construction/upgrades going on so there was dust everywhere. The shower was clogged with dust and peices of drywall. I was able to clean it out with effort to take a shower. The sink only had cold water, the hot water was not on. We only told the front desk on checkout about the issues. We were only there late night into early morning.
The breakfast was hot but the eggs had green in them so we decided not to eat them. I was skeptical about the coffee but it ended up great!
The night staff were very nice and the morning staff was attentive when we told him the rooms issues.

Ok for an overnight stay

This hotel was very nice. I really didn’t care for the area it was in, but I felt safe once I got in my room. It was very clean and neat the front desk. Staff was very helpful. The first gentleman seem like he was New goes. Wasn’t sure what to do, but everything worked out just fine. The manager even waved my Deposit fee because they were slower and to apologize for the first customer service representative. I thought that was very nice when I checked out, they had breakfast just enough for you to eat and get on your way iron My at the second front desk person. She said she had been there three days without a break, but she was very helpful and informative About the visit and welcome me to Indianapolis. I will stay at this hotel again. The parking lot was a little dark. I was a little leery of it, but otherwise I was OK overall.

Best Western at Pyramids saves the day

The service was excellent. My reservation through Hotels.com has been incorrectly delivered to the hotel, and I was advised to call Hotels.com to sort the problem out. After 20 minutes of trying to reach Hotels.com by phone, but the website, or by the Hotels.com app, I was unable to get through to anyone and was caught in an endless loop of asking for a password reset.

The reception person finally called me over and said she could come up with a way to solve the problem, and I wouldn't have to share a bed with my school-age son. We were able to make it work, thankfully.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. Minor repairs were only partially done, and there was dust from tile work and few broken panels on the furniture, but nothing that caused any inconvenience.

We booked our stay late in the day after leaving a different hotel that was horrendous!
The staff at this Best Western were so accommodating and friendly. Welcomed us immediately as we walked into the lobby. The rooms were clean and nice. The bed was so comfortable and plenty of pillows. The room and floor was quiet even with some renovations going on. I would definitely recommend this location and stay here again.
