Great location and helpful staff. Good coffee stand in lobby for a quick breakfast. Easy walk to PNC park for ballgames. Pool area a little smaller than it looks in the photos but kids had fun. Double beds not queens, so tight for 4 at night.

Rooms are very outdated and small. Had great views on the 24th floor, but it was so hot in the room. The walls are thin. There was constant loud conversations in the presidential suite and lots of foot traffic. The bathroom is tiny. The beds are super small and truly only comfortable for one adult. Luckily we didn’t spend a lot of time in the room, but wish I would have booked elsewhere.

The valet parking was a mess. The check in line was over and hour even with (pre-check). The overnight parking was $44.00. When you walked into our room there was a sewer smell. The view of the river and stadium was nice. Will not stay here again. I feel there wasn’t enough people working to properly manage a completely booked hotel for an event. Disappointed.

The only problem we had was that we had checked in the day before and still we’re not allowed to valet park when we got there because there was a concert that night and they were allowing random people off the street to park in the garage and not holding spaces for people that were staying at the hotel

Over paid because of a concert. It definitely was not a 650$ a night room. The pullout sofa mattress looked like it was 20 years old. Had to request bedding for it. Probably would never stay here ever again to be honest.

I thought this was going to be a nice hotel! The price was high, parking was terrible-the line for valet and check-in was backed up along the road, the hallways were dark and grungy, everything needed repainted. The room was small, the bathroom even smaller. The wallpaper was coming off, there were cracks in the wall and crown molding, the crusty curtains wouldn’t close, there was hair on the bathroom ceiling! The water drained very slow in the tub so we had to stand in water to shower. Overall a good location but an overpriced hotel with outdated rooms. Will not be staying again.

The staff we interacted with were very professional and helpful. The exercise room was excellent allowing me to complete my normal gym workout while away from home. Unfortunately the shower had hair on the shower floor near the wall blocked by the door when the door is open. I did let the hotel receptionist know about this.

The hotel was hosting multiple events along with the city having a major concert and multiple events as well. Valet was full because of events that hotel guests had to self park several blocks away and haul their luggage. Valets we rude and standing around instead of assisting hotel guests. Room was small, smelled of cigarette smoke and musty. Mattress was stained with some type of fluid. Left as soon as I was able to obtain reservation elsewhere. 20 minutes and I had had enough. Previous stays at other Wyndham hotels were nothing like this “stay”. Would not recommend

Overall, the Wyndham served its purpose…a resting place between Morgan Wallen related activities. The hotel itself is rather “old” looking. A lot of worn, wood furniture. Very brown like it stepped out of the 70s or 80s. The staff is very friendly and made the experience great. The buffet at the Wyndham is hands down the best hotel buffet I’ve ever had. The hostess, Lana, (I think that was her name) was very sweet and made my departing breakfast memorable. Also if you are visiting the area and are looking for Pittsburgh tourist trinkets and shirts that are not the Steelers, go to Rally House Sports. They had a great selection!

This hotel is a great location in downtown Pittsburgh and just within a short walking distance to the stadium for concerts.. We had a few minor issues such as no soap in the bathroom along with other of the complementary bathing items were 3/4 full. The beds are only full-size and not queen sized but not a big deal if you’re just a single sleeper. We did find hair on our linens and there was no valet parking available as there were three large events going on in the city at that time so I won’t fault them for that. Due to the concerns we had they did give us a complementary breakfast in the morning of our checkout so that said a lot about them. Despite the minor issues I would stay there again.

Rooms are dated and small, but clean. Common spaces are updated and well maintained. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We stayed on an upper floor and it was very quiet. Also, a great view of the river, state park, and Mt Washington. The best thing about this hotel is location. Walk to almost any downtown destination, including stadiums. Short drive to other interesting places like the University of Pittsburgh. This is a great city and if you enjoy walking to see a city, this is a great place to stay. If you are just going to hang out in the hotel room, this may not be the ideal place for you. Breakfast was included with our room and was very good. Buffet on weekends is excellent. They will even make you an omelet upon request (included). If you bring a car, there is only valet parking at the hotel and it is pricey! But you have in and out privileges at any time. Otherwise there are nearby parking garages for less but the clock restarts every time you leave and return. So the end result may not be cheaper.

GREAT location! It was well within walking distances to all areas downtown, PNC park, and the beautiful park directly across the street. The river view was well worth the price. Double queen room was a little smaller than typical but plenty of space for my family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children under 10). Pool was comfortable with an AMAZING view as well. Staff were fantastic at helping with directions, places to go, etc.

We were on the 22nd floor in a king suite and it was very dated and just didn’t feel clean. Also even with the temperature set to 66 degrees the room was very warm. For the price it definitely was not worth it.

Hotel is beautiful, pretty river view room, nice staff, comfy beds, but bathrooms need updates/fixed. Shower water was cold both at night and in the morning, drain clogged or something which made for standing water that took forever to get rid of.
If you're coming in for an event GET THERE EARLY or you will wait forever for valet and check in!! We went for Morgan Wallen, got there at 1:00, in the room at 1:45 which was great considering what others were saying.
Would definitely stay again though!

Our room was very clean and we had a nice view of the river. The shower was extremely small though and the bed was not very comfortable. The walls are quite thin so you could hear your neighbors quite well unfortunately. The pool area was quite small for a hotel that size. The hotel itself was in a great location making it easy to walk to where we wanted to go. Hotel itself is a bit on the older outdated side. Not sure if we’d stay here again.

The location is EXCELLENT! It's right behind The Point Park. We got a \"river view\" room and had great views of the park and the rivers. We walked to the Pittsburgh Pirates game. Likewise, we walked to great restaurants and bars. We didn't have housekeeping service because we only stayed 3 days. I didn't like that I had to ask for soap, coffee supplies, and more towels

We had a great time and the hotel and staff were great. The location is perfect. Easy walk to PNC, Market Square, subway and right at Point State Park. Valet parking was great, I've used private decks staying here before but pay a little extra for valet here, especially if you plan to drive anywhere. Only issue was the pull out sofa in the Jr Suite was awful. Not sure there is ever a good pull out sleeper but this one was terrible. Other than that everything about the hotel and the stay was awesome.

We loved that the hotel was in a great location, within walking distance to many activities and PNC Park. The view from our room was beautiful! The staff at the front desk and at the bar were friendly and helpful. We thought the cost of parking was too high. We did not like that housekeeping was unavailable for all the days of our stay. On our hall, several rooms had glasses and trash bags sitting outside the door in the hallway for days. Housekeeping was cleaning rooms as people left, so we were not sure why they couldn't pick up glasses and bags of trash when they were literally right there working. The bathroom sliding door was trash and kept getting stuck.

Room 438 is located next to the pool and spa. Doors start slamming before 6am. Forget sleeping later than that. Avoid the fourth floor with rooms higher than 420 at all costs unless you like swimming or working out at 6am. Also, the bathrooms have no ventilation. They have a clunky barn door with frosted glass. It is impossible to be quiet in the middle of the night and not light up the room as well. It’s a great location with close proximity to the stadiums, bars, and dahntahn but it’s not worth $300+ a night.

We visited the pool and the bar. We wanted to visit the restaurant, but were told it hasn’t been open for dinner since Covid. Come on!
Our room was small and had only the desk chair to sit other than the bed. Now the part that really needed upgrades the bathroom. It was falling apart. It had the European shower, that just gets the whole floor wet, the tp holder keep falling off the wall. The handle on the bathroom door needed tightening every day, there was no drain in the sink and the water took forever to go down. Lastly the grout was at a minimum four different colors. Not nice at all.

The hall rugs are old that combined with the color of walls and doors make it very dark and dingy. The lounge and restaurant were understaffed for the amount of guests staying at the hotel that weekend.

The location is excellent, and the valet parking service was great. However, my room was right near the elevator, so it was quite noisy late at night, even around 2 a.m., which made it difficult to rest. I understand the hotel was fully booked, but I had reserved a room advertised as having a river view. Unfortunately, because the room was on a lower floor, I couldn’t really see the river at all. I had also noted in my reservation that I would prefer a higher floor if possible, so that was a bit disappointing.

Wyndam Grand always provides a great experience for a trip to Pittsburgh....great views no matter what side of the hotel you are on....food is good and convenience to all stadiums many restaurants and other venues are excellent from this location. My only complaint is while the room was very clean and maintained....they are starting to look a bit dated in appearance. Otherwise really is a great place to stay

Older building that could use a refresh. Carpet in hallways and room was disgusting and loose. Major trip hazard. “Upgraded” to a jr suite and it was a waste of money. Saggy pull out couch and a few extra square feet weren’t worth the $100+ a night. Bathroom was tiny, water pressure was minimal. WiFi was slow, hard to work. Huge TV, but half the stations wouldn’t stay tuned in. Had to go to bar to watch games.

We didn't stay for breakfast. We checked out before 8 am. Rooms had black mold and were dirty. Switched rooms same problem. Talked with Frank and the front desk who said he \"wasn't surprised\" by the conditions of the rooms.
Valet is a joke. He was sleeping and and the nerve to tell me he didn't have to valet my vehicle. For the service I received and $44, I agreed and found free parking around the corner. Crazy to talk to someone like that when you work for tips.
Upon checkout, Michelle was the only reasonable person.

Clean room, nice pool area and hot tub and the view. The shower was hot with a good pressure. So my husband likes IPA beers. The event we attebded at the hotel did not have any so since we were staying we called to see what time the bar closed. The front desk staff said 1 am. We went down to the bar. He got his believed IPA beers. However, staff kicked guests out at midnight. That was disappointing. Other than that, we have no complaints.
