Thoughtful goody bag for draft weekend-cheers to the GM or who ever suggested that. Really a nice touch. Location was outstanding. Reception was friendly and greeted us warmly. Room was in great shape (some wear and tear on cabinetry but I am sure it sees a lot of actions on sports days). Parking was great too-easy in and out. Breakfast was staged well.

The staff was excellent when we checked in thank you Sean the manger.I had problems with the toilet overflowing that situation got handled ! But the internet kept going out someone did come and fixed the TV!And the TV the picture was kind of grainy. And the TV kept cutting off and on. So I really couldn't do my work. And in the evening I couldn't watch TV but overall, I give it a 3 out of a 5 i love that they had a full kitchen.This is my fourth time staying at this hotel

The rooms are quite large, well equipped with full size refrigerator as well as a stove. Would be excellent for extended stay. Breakfast was very good, with a wide variety of well prepared choices. Great location. Very reasonable price. Highly recommend.

Staff was very welcoming. Appreciated the smiles after traveling a ways to get to Pittsburgh.
Located right in the action in downtown Pittsburgh!
Room was very nice. Was concerned because we were in a room that was right next to the elevator and across the hall from a family with kids. Was VERY IMPRESSED that we didn’t hear the elevator OR noise from the hall! Room seemed very insulated.
Didn’t get a chance to enjoy the breakfast in the morning but chose the hotel for that perk.
Will definitely choose this particular Marriott again.

Amazing breakfast! I loved that there were many breakfast options to choose from. I loved the room, very comfortable and convenient with full size fridge and all kitchen essentials. Only dislike was that the pool was under renovation and that parking was an additional daily charge.

disgustingly dirty room! Reserved a suite for a Steelers game (location was great, 7 min walk to stadium which is why we booked despite the reviews). Stains on carpets, stains on couch, bathroom floor looked like it wasn't cleaned for years, dirt and slime in corners of floor and wall, towel rack laying on floor broken, dirty elevators (smudges and nasty things on the walls), and on and on! Called front desk to get sheets for the pullout bed (by the way, the pull out bed is a double, barely big enough for one person), sheets came and had stains on them (mattress on pullout bed was stained as well). Called back and asked for clean sheets and was told that we had to come get them ourselves. Went and picked them up and they were also stained (but appeared to have been washed). Only reason we give it 2 stars was because of the location to Acrisure stadium (hotel is right across the street from PNC as well) and the breakfast was surprisingly good and the breakfast area was clean by comparison to the room. This was one step above a welfare hotel, definitely would not stay here again.

The furnace spelt like burnt popcorn then my husband informed me that was because it stopped working! The carpet was torn and frayed in the living room area and the cabinets in the bathroom area desperately need replaced. Other than the beds being comfortable and the front desk employees being super nice, I was truly disappointed for a Marriott.

The room was in good shape, the cost was good, we had three people so we needed the pull out couch bed to sleep on. We requested the items for the pull out bed at check in, waited an hour for the supplies, called the desk again, waited another half hour (now it’s around 11:30 pm), started walking to the desk to ask for a third time and came into contact with the person working our floor. He went down, got our items and brought them up to us. When you have to wait over 90 minutes to get a few items for your room, that is frustrating. The breakfast was good the next morning and check out was nice and easy. The other problem we had was the toilet leaking water on the floor.

Room is pretty nice but still overpriced, even for a suit, even for a Friday night.

If noise bothers you bring cancelling headphones.

DO NOT STAY HERE IF THERE ARE SPORTING EVENTS. ITS A NIGHTMARE. People started drinking at 7am and that’s how I was woken up.

Pros: full suite is spacious.
Huge bathroom.
TV has a lazy Susan.
Walking distance to restaurants, bars, downtown, Warhol Museum

Honestly, the only thing that wasn’t up to par was the check-in and parking process. There were three terminals but only one hotel employee checking people in at 6:30pm on a Saturday night so I feel the hotel was simply understaffed. It took over 30 minutes to check in and I had to move my truck twice due to the congestion in the small roundabout area behind the hotel entryway. There was no sense of urgency with a line of people at least 10 deep to check in and thankfully I didn’t have plans at a specific time that evening or else I would not have made it to a game or dinner reservation on time as a result of the slow pace when a typical check-in takes about five minutes or so as all you’re doing is showing ID and swiping your credit card for incidental charges. Otherwise the room was large, clean, and accommodating, and the location is fantastic as it’s within walking distance to many restaurants and bars and the two stadiums on the north shore. I would highly recommend this hotel to friends but also caution them to arrive with ample time to check in and get settled prior to any scheduled event they may have going on.

There was a line of 15 people checking in and one employee. It took about an hour. The first set of keys was to the wrong room and the second time the keys didn’t work. Both times I came back down to get new ones. The woman was doing the best should could but it was not acceptable to not have more staff. My room smelled like curry so I’ll be checking out tomorrow to find another place to stay. Only one employee at check out as well.
Do better management. If you are going to advertise Marriott, live up to the standards. It’s not fair to the employees or guests!

Staff very pleasant, offered to hold luggage until room was available. Given parking pass, no parking anywhere in lot being a Steelers Game, I was offered to park in the circle. Need better communication with no parking spaces left , wasted 30+ minutes driving in mobbed parking lot. Room was very spacious, bed was terrible with sagging in the middle, never in any travel, experienced a bed in such poor shape. Morning complimentary breakfast was very nice with a wide variety of breakfast options, staff very attentive keeping food refreshed.

Room was perfect for large family. I just had to bring more plates/cuttlery, which I expected. Breakfast was good, kids 3-16 y/o all ate well. Staff was wonderful, all polite and kind to my children and me. There was confusion with housekeeping and our room was not serviced in the 4 days there except when I called to have trash taken out. Hotel showed its age and room could have been cleaner, but wasn't Dirty.

Our biggest issue was that my children did not notice that the pool chemicals were out of balance on our second day. When they returned from swimming all 4 that were in the water that day had significant eye pain/burning and facial skin irritation that lasted for 12-36 hours. It was terrible. All of my kids were very upset that I made the pool off limits for the rest of our stay, especially because it is their facorite part of staying at a hotel.

The main king bed was almost as uncomfortable as the pull out couch. I did not sleep well here. The staff and front desk people were really nice, so I didn't want to have anything bad to say.

This hotel is badly in need of an update. The pool was not working, we asked for repairs in our room, which did not happen and Hotel generally is showing its age. The staff was OK at best. I think that a new manager would go a long way. Great location and very convenient. However, we will find another option next time unless they make some significant changes.

There was nothing listed about needing to have $100 deposit for any problems with the room. I've heard of having a credit card on file but not taking $100 and then holding on to it for multiple days. It's been a few days since I've had my trip and I still don't have my $100 back. I'm attaching images from the hotel roomie stayed in the curtains looked like I hope a food sub since on them otherwise it was a bodily function there was black mold in the bathroom. There was different stains and blemishes throughout the room. We were not aware that the pool was closed that was the main reason that we stayed at this location there was nothing posted that the pool was closed in advance. Breakfast is only until 9:30. Overall very disappointed the room was not clean the staff was absolutely nasty. I would avoid this hotel at all costs. It was close to what we needed so it worked. However between the dirtiness and the unfriendly staff I wouldn't recommend staying at this hotel

Great location but expected more from a Marriot. The door to my room would stick. The phone in the room didn’t work. At times there was no one at the front desk. The exercise room was stifling hot. The room was nice and spacious. The staff were helpful and friendly. The complimentary breakfast was average. The maintenance crew was great and fast and fixed any issues. I would stay there again.

The location of the hotel is amazing for going to a Pirates game (which we did). The staff appeared somewhat disorganized and the computer systems were not always working. The staff did respond promptly when my air conditioning was not working in my room. They gave an option to wait for maintenance to attempt to fix it or to move rooms. Since we had just arrived we just moved to a new room (and the A/C worked great). The main bed in our suite was amazing, super comfortable!

Great location and easy parking. Rooms are large with full kitchenettes. However, the pool is tiny and the fitness room is pretty poor.
