Pool is really nice but request for a toothpaste was really bad. Upon check in after 4pm, I’ve asked for a toothpaste and I was told they will send someone to bring in our room, called front desk at 9pm, same answer but nobody came to bring the toothpaste. Door is really hard and loud when opening and closing.

Requested king suite. The room was very dirty, toilets, bathtub, garbage, ect not cleaned. Had many holes in the curtains, so dalight came through in the mornings making is very hard to sleep in after a long flight. Junkies hung around the property, by the front entrance. Very disappointed, not worth the money. Don't book here.

\"I am writing to warn other travelers to avoid this property. I pre-paid for a stay at this Travelodge, but upon arrival, I was denied a room. I arrived with my daughter and our two cats on a very hot day; the hotel’s refusal to honor my reservation left us stranded, with my cats in visible distress. I spent an additional $40 on a Lyft ride to get there, only to be turned away.
To make matters worse, the hotel kept my payment and has refused to refund me. When I attempted to resolve this, the staff member, who claimed to be the only manager on-site, was unprofessional and appeared to be discriminating against me. As someone displaced by an apartment fire, this experience was deeply demoralizing and dangerous. I strongly advise others to avoid this property, as they are willing to take your money and leave you stranded without any regard for the safety of families or pets.\"

Knife marks in the mattress / cigarette burns in the blanket / brown stain in one of the towels / both mornings for the continental breakfast no fruit by 7:30 no pastries boiled eggs n milk in a fridge that was warm second morning no milk for cereal or syrup for the waffles! Was told by manager the first day I would be compensated and I could contact him directly if it happened again and it did I’ve reached out and nothing they lost out on tournament stays through out summer! So disappointed! Front desk said Expedia needs to call contact them for me to get reimbursed.

As soon as you got off the elevator, there was bags of rotting garbage in the hall and blood on the floor once in the room there is blood stains on the shower curtain and on the carpet between the beds, and the bedsheets were stained yellow

There were homeless people out front making me feel very unsafe bringing my children in. Garbage everywhere, the breakfast was disgusting and old and the room felt like a prison. I would not recommend this hotel for families at all!

The hotel is very old. There are a lot of dogs, so the rooms are damaged by the animals. There is s..t on the lawns around the hotel, and the dog owners don't like to clean it up. The constant barking at night prevents us from sleeping. We had five nights booked, but we could only stay for four and left early. Breakfast was waffles and toast, and only coffee and tea were available. The room is small for 20 people out of over 100 rooms. We went across the street to Wendy's. We won't be staying here again.

I called ahead and was told the hottub was working. We checked in and wanted to go sit in hottub and the jets were not working and hottub was luke warm. The floor in our room was so sticky, our shoes were sticking to it. The bed and bathroom appeared clean tho. When we checked in, there was about 10 shady characters hanging outside the lobby door smoking and asking for change

The room I stayed in wasn't very clean. The bed was comfortable but the water pressure in the bathroom shower was awful. The staff was pleasant but the lack of amenities like no vending machines and the overall sketchy feel of the property in general (particularly since it is not in a poor neighbourhood was disappointing to say the least.

There was gunk stuck to the lamp post there was no plug-ins anywhere to be found in the room except for ones that they were using by lamps and their lamps all had broken shades. It was loud, not quiet at all. There were people living in the parking lot highly do not recommend going here unless this is the kind of thing you’re used to.

This property needs MAJOR maintenance. Everything that can rust, is rusted. The paint is literally peeling off the walls. The water pressure of the shower is very very poor, the bathtub is full of cracks, unsanitary. One ply toiletpaper. The coffee machine is very dirty, and the water from it tastes awful. The “air” or “ac” in the room is a joke and very loud. Curtains are dirty, dust on the lightbulbs, pillows are very used.
Slide is wonderful but rusted and the pool edges are very dirty.
There was ZERO breakfast at 8:00am, except for boiled eggs floating in green water in a warm fridge, not kidding.
Breakfast room not clean. Nothing to drink at breakfast for children, only coffee.
The halls smell, they have not been cleaned in a long time, it is a musty wet smell.

Don't go into breakfast expecting to take lunch out with you and you'll be just fine, you do require a breakfast voucher that you will need to collect at the front desk each night of your stay. The pizza restaurant was excellent. Kids loved the pool and slide.

From the moment we walked into the room, it was clear that cleanliness is not a priority here.
The carpet was visibly gritty and clearly hadn't been vacuumed in quite some time. To make matters worse, upon pulling back the sheets, I found several stray hairs on the bed, which is absolutely revolting.
The bathroom was just as disappointing. The shower didn't work properly, with inconsistent water pressure and temperature that made it nearly impossible to use.
The entire room felt \"grimy.\" Surfaces were dusty, and the general lack of upkeep was evident everywhere I looked.
I expected a basic, clean room for the night, but this fell far below even the most modest standards. I will not be staying here again and would recommend looking elsewhere if you value a sanitary environment.

This is my usual go to for a stay in Edmonton. The staff are fantastic, the price is right and they accept cash for deposit on the rooms. The pool and hot tub area is great as well. This last stay the hot tub wasn't working, but hey things happen. The breakfast is alright. It could be a bit better, but for the most part it is worth the stay.

We stayed for 4 days and the last day we asked for clean towels, bedding and toilet to be cleaned (my son had an accident). We asked 4 times and it never happened, only to be told the next morning that there was nothing on file for our room number for requests and that there is no housekeeping at night. Breakfast is toast and cereal, no juice it was broken, limited fruit. Good for an overnight stay, it is affordable but not for long stay

Quiet, comfy beds, lots of room. very run down hotel in need of renovations throughout. Jacuzzi not working 4 nights we were there. Limited breakfast, had waffles, no eggs, no juice (machine was broken and they didn't bother providing juice in fridge),only apples/yogurt. Spent 4 nights with our 2 adult sons and small dog. Had to use a voucher each day to eat breakfast. Breakfast room tucked away on opposite side of hotel, very strange, looked like a previous room, almost no light. stained carpets common areas. Lots of smokers by doors. Back of building has RV's that are lived in.

Rooms are ok but dated. Do not expect an actual breakfast. There were no drinks at all, no water, milk or juice and coffee was basically empty. The only food they had was a waffles you made yourself and toast. They had cereal but no milk. When I asked the lady working there for something to drink, her response was that she just worked there and that it was not her fault that they had nothing. I emailed a complaint to the supervisor who was not on site and never heard anything. They also charged a $200 deposit but only refunded $194 without any explanation so keep an eye on your bill and credit cards.

Adult hour in the pool would be splendid. Maybe 9-10pm?? So paying parents can enjoy a nice hot tub before bed. It was so packed, there was no room. And if a space opened, not worth it with how loud it would be with all the screaming kids.

-Be mindful of the room Doors. Some have no spring system and slam shut so hard and loud, it scares you & your kids every time,

-If there are 4 guests booked into a room, why not leave 4 towels vs 2? Just a thought.
-Bring your own shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hand soap..,if you can!!! Smallest shampoo and conditioner bottles I’ve ever seen. There was just One hand soap that would not produce soaps.
No body wash or extra bar of soap for such.

-Tv shut off every 5-60 mins all night long. Forget to tell the staff, Didn’t feel like getting out of bed to call or go downstairs either,

-smoking occurs outside front door. Even though there are “no smoking” signs.

-2 out of the 4 games in the arcade room don’t work.

-Pool, hottub and waterslide can be fun when it’s not too busy. Hottub jets were broken. Not awesome with so many humans filtering thru. Waterslide stairs were rather sketch. 😬 Must be safe if they are still there though.
-Card wouldn’t work in room door more then once. Had to go back down to get another. Even though I would hold it out in front of me to prevent it from interference. Haha. Be careful with that.
-Was nice to see the manger walking around the last day though.

Would not recommend, however due to the price it isn't a terrible alternative compared to similarly priced motels.

Has everything you'll need but not exactly a pleasant stay for us.

Location was okay.

Property itself was not maintained the best, however this is reflected in the rates you can get a room for.

Property overall is good value as I believe breakfast was included, did not partake as I don't want to know what I'd have gotten for the price.

Service wasn't great either, someone in line jumped ahead of us despite the receptionist knowing this and didn't say anything.

Pool was crowded, once again affordable hotel and very accessible to many people.

We checked in and after seeing the state of the hotel, we checked out right away. The place was filthy. The beds were dirty, the rooms were small, the photos online are deceiving. The furniture in the foyer was stained with rips. Outside the doors, many people were smoking and looked intoxicated; my children and I did not feel safe. When I spoke to the front desk, their answer was « no comment ».

Room was not so clean, white towels and face cloths with stains . Dingy poor lighting throughout. Staff was indifferent, neither friendly nor rude. The Pool is in terrible shape and the area is dirty. The pool towels are stained and very used. The area outside was dirty and dark. Abandoned vehicle in the back parking lot and two broken down motor homes that appeared to have someone living there. The hotel felt unsafe, there was an incident that a female guest was calling out for help from a room. Pretty sketchy.

The waterpark room was super hot. The water in the bathrooms was like a gentle trickle, both tap and shower. The tap was either ice cold or very hot. The tv had very few, uninteresting channels. Very poorly taken care of building.

For breakfast, the only protein was hard boiled eggs. Only fruit was apples. They had a limited amount of yogurt and muffins so they would run out and not refill. The only good thing was the waffles. Juice machine broken and no juice offered. Someone is running this on an extremely cheap budget and you feel it.

This was easily the most disgusting hotel property I have ever entered. My dog and I entered the room sat down for 5 minutes and decided it was time to check out and go to another hotel.

The hotel stunk, there was constant drug use and unsavoury characters all around. Broken windows and just overall disgusting stains in the carpet. Never been more disgusted in my life.

Staff dont answer your room phone when dialing 0, called 3x and just got ignored even though the front desk wasn't busy at all, place was relatively clean but terribly outdated and damaged furniture, carpet was probably 30 years, no tv remote, shady people everywhere, really disgusting place! Do not recommend staying here especially if you have children! Wear socks or shoes in the room who knows what 30-40 years of fluids lurk in the carpet!!! Bathroom smelt like cigarette and mildew! Avoid at all costs! Pay the extra and stay somewhere else!!!!

Older hotel, and shows general lack of upkeep and improvements over the years.

The pool, hot tub and slide area not very clean or maintained - hot tub jets were not working.

Did have complimentary breakfast, although basic, still was a bit of a bright spot. Definitely need more seating availability, eating area very small.

Overall, if you are not picky…then definitely economical.

Probably would not stay there again, based on the general condition of the hotel and lack of pool cleanliness.

This is a 2 star hotel. So expect a 2 star experience and you will be happy. It’s super old, they clean it as well as they can but it’s old! For $67 a night you can’t expect much. It was somewhere for us to sleep at night after our long days at West Edmonton Mall. The jets in the hot tub don’t work but it was still really hot. The pool is pretty cold, that didn’t stop my 4 year old from having an awesome time swimming and going down the water slide. The breakfast is poor, juice machines out of order. Maybe if you go for breakfast right when it opens you could get something . But by 9am it was a piece of toast, cereal or a waffle. No fruit, muffins, meats etc. This didn’t bother us, again you get what you pay for.

This hotel is ok. It is old and could use an update. The breakfast was horrible. There was only 1 attendant in the breakfast room. It was dirty and overcrowded. There was no food out except cereal and bread. It was like the attendant was a hoarder and kept everything in the back room. If you asked for a yogurt or a piece of fruit she didn't want to give it to you. There was no creamer for the watered-down coffee and no juice or milk. We stayed for 2 nights but opted to go elsewhere for breakfast. The bed was ok if you like a soft bed. The T.V. channels are very limited. We didn't go to the pool as it was very busy.

They did not honor every arrangement as expected. They requested a $200 deposit per room once I arrived, even though I had already made the payment in advance and there was no statement made as too being an extra deposit on top. They also had difficulty locating my second room reservation and initially claimed I had only booked one room, which would have resulted in me being charged again for the second room. Overall, the check-in process was disorganized and frustrating.
