The hotel was located close to La concha and local shops and restaurants. The bus stop is outside the door and in 15 min you can be in the old town. The service is very easy to use.We enjoyed the local shops and the ease of getting in and out of town. It does not have a pool as is advertised. Rooms and service were good and friendly.

Two important notes: (1) Our room did not have a stable WiFi. (2) There is a lot of construction noise in early mornings.
Unfortunately, wouldn’t stay again, unless they fix the internet and renovate the rooms.

It is very close to the water, and a very pleasant walk along the waterfront to the old town (40-45 minutes).

The facilities were very good. We would have appreciated a kettle in the room but we were surrounded by lots of cafes and tavernas with good food and drinks. If you like to explore, this is your hotel. Also, very close to a clean beach and beautiful views. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel.

Nice, clean chain hotel in the neighboring area to San Sebastián. It was quieter and less tourists than in the old part of town. If you like to be in thick of it, a hotel more central might suit you. We like walking, so this hotel was perfect for us. It was more affordable than the central historical part o the city.

Easy access to the old town, great sea view, but the room is on the small size given the high price we paid. The toilet can be more meticulously cleaned. More hot dishes for breakfast is desired.

The hotel itself is in a decent location but is quite dated. The blinds may as well not have been there, there was no way to keep the light out of the room which affected my sleep greatly. The breakfast was really bad, I was shocked given the price. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel as it was very expensive for the basic level of accommodation provided.

The Codina Hotel is a 3-star property located on the western side of town. Since I needed to be be on this part of town, it was perfect for me. The room rate was great (average $54/night), rhe room had a functional decoration, windows were double-glassed (therefore the street noises were kept out of the room), the TV had many channels. The only thing I missed was a coffee machine or a tea kettle.

I claimed it to front desk and a guy came up 20minutes later and changed all bedding stuffs and vacuumed all inside the room. I spent almost 1 hour while the cleaner was cleaning with door opening for ventilation. It was worst!
2. I requested DB room. They give me twin bed attached with 2single bed.
3. Bed was spring. Accordingly sometimes noisy.

The location was very good and parking locally was free at the weekend so that was a nice bonus.
Breakfast was poor though, cooked food amounted to scrambled eggs, bacon and tiny sausages and I had to wait for both bacon and sausages to arrive.

Very nice location close to Ondarreta beach, and right next to a bus stop so there’s easy access to town center. Very clean, bright and spacious triple room with very comfortable beds. Staff helpful and friendly. Loved everything about the hotel except for the WiFi which was almost completely useless in our room, although it turned fine in the hotel lobby.

When we were asked for special requests (we requested a balcony) the hotel emailed us back saying that they only have balconies( terrace) in the superior rooms which are on the upper floor and that will cost additional 25 Euros to the room rate per date which was already over priced for a 3 stars hotels (200$ per night) also excluding breakfast and excluding a parking.
We asked the hotel to send photos, but they replied that they do not have photos for those rooms.
however, we accepted to take the superior room and to pay the additional 75 euros for three nights.
When we arrive to the hotel we found out that those rooms do not have double beds (but two single attached beds), after discussion with the lady from the reception claiming that we were clear about the double bed option as we were honey mooners they claimed that they do not have any availability and refused to refund us, but offered to see whether they can offer a complimentary breakfast.
The parking is in the basement of 200 meters away building and they charge you (23-25 Euros).
At checkout we were surprised that we have been charged for the breakfast despite that we only had breakfast once at the property.

The staff at check in were warm and very helpful . The location is fantastic, walking distance to the beach front and restaurants at the back . The room was like new and the luxurious bathroom provided the best rain shower for a weary traveler. Breakfast was sumptuous with some local favorites included.

Breakfast was plentiful and fresh. My only little complaint was no tea or coffee making facilities in the room, but other than that, would defiantly stay again.

Nice hotel in a quiet neighbourhood near the Miramar palace, 5 mins walk to the beach & bus from right outside to the old town & pinxtos bars, takes 12 mins & costs €1.50. Could park for free in the streets nearby on the weekend, during the week it’s only a few euros, much cheaper than parking st the hotel which is €20 per day. Staff friendly free beach towel loan. Would stay here again

Very disappointed with bathroom layout. Toilet next to bath with bath screen in between. Because of this could not reach taps without getting in to bath. Difficult to get in and out of bath because could not move screen which was up against toilet. Newly refurbished - very bad design. Staff not apologetic.

Our stay at Hotel Codina was beyond disappointing and the worst of our trip. The room smelled of mold or mildew and the staff was indifferent at best. Each time we had a question about San Sebastian we were instructed to go to the tourist information office, a 30 minute walk away (and my wife speaks fluent Spanish, so there was no language barrier). Do not stay at this hotel.

Modern Hotel just 2 mins. walk from the Beach. Lively area around Hotel with plenty of eating and drinking options.Higher floors have the views. Rooms were very clean and the A / C functioned well. Lovely walk in to Old Town ( 25 mins ) but a local bus stops right outside the Hotel if you are not in the mood for a walk.San Sebastian is a lovely place to visit.

We stayed two nights in this fine hotel. It was several blocks from the beach and 30 minute walk, along the beach, to the main part of town. The staff was friendly, and took time with each client. We had requested parking and it was made available for us. The room was clean and comfortable.

San Sebastián is always a pleasant trip. With friendly locals and respectful tourists and its natural beauty it's a pleasant place to go. The best part of my trip there was the fireworks and my visit to the Spa at La Perla, for reasons I will keep to myself!

Disappointed in the hotel room as the fridge chilled drinks only to a lukewarm temperature and the bathroom was extremely tight. Location was good in a nice neighbourhood close to a supermarket and some nice cafe/bars. Distance to La Concha beach is an interesting 15 minute walk, with a further 15 minutes to the old town pinxto bars.

The front desk people were extremely helpful, particularly since we didn't speak Spanish and needed to communicate with the company transporting us to the airport. While the location was some distance from the center of town, it was a lovely walk along the boardwalk to get to the old city center. We also had an excellent dinner quite close to the hotel.

Stayed for 2 nights.... perfect location for the beach only 5 mins walk away... the town 15 mins walk, but what a walk along the Playa de cocha. Excellent service in reception, very helpful and spoke very good english. My room a little noisy with traffic noise including buses. Did not do breakfast.

There is a well-stocked grocery store and nice Chinese restaurant within two blocks. But if you want fancy restaurants, you might want to go to the Old Town which is only 25 minutes away by walking and 5 minutes by bus. The breakfast food is fine, but they should change some items every couple days so that the guest will not get tire of eating the same food everyday. A minimum requirements for a good hotel room for me are: very clean, a shower or bath facility, some good hair shampoo / conditioner and lotion, a hair drier, and an iron / board. The room provides everything mentioned, but no iron. The hotel should consider providing that.

A great hotel which is a few blocks from the beach and a quick bus or taxi ride to the old city. A beach view room on the upper floors is definitely recommended! The hotel staff was very helpful in recommending local sites.

The room we had was large and had a panoramic, room long window of 1 floor up from the street. Front desk was very helpful. You need to take a taxi to the metro or bus station but when we asked the front desk to book us a taxi to take us to the bus station (to go to Bilboa), it was there in 2 minutes. Excellent all around.
