Nice hotel but we paid for a room with air con which did little more than just make noise rather than cool the apartment. Wifi didn't work and room was below hot tub so huge noise during the day. Could hear music at night also

Great location and ticks a lot of boxes

This is a really solid place to stay in Puerto Del Carmen. It has a decent bar/restaurant that serves a good breakfast which was included in the price of the hotel. It has a nice pool area and a great sun deck area with a jacuzzi. It’s located just off the main strip so it’s very close to everything without having to deal with big hills, yet it doesn’t get any of the noise from being so close. The staff were also very friendly and cleaners came by daily. My only issues were that the air conditioning in the rooms does not work (it was the same in all three rooms my family were in) which was disappointing because you expect to get AC when it’s advertised. They did provide a fan which made sleeping more comfortable but it’s worth noting if that’s a dealbreaker for you. Also while the rooms themselves are comfortable and provide you with everything you need for a vacation, they are a little tired and could do with an update.

Staff were mainly lovely and this is a good base for local diving and/or taking in local sights.
Breakfast was one of the best ones I’ve had abroad but quality seems much better at the weekends.
Fridge/freezer is really handy.

Aircon is not “typical” aircon, it’s a fan system with 3 controls. Room never really cools down.
People queue from 7.30am to reserve beds - this didn’t impact us as we were diving but beds very quickly get reserved with towels.
Little attention to small things ie shower gel and hand wash were empty upon check in, bath towels one day weren’t replaced and it took us an hour to get them from asking for replacements. Some days the shower mat went missing and no tea towels until final day.

Staff were lovely, helpful and approachable! We have arrived home today, it’s getting a lot busier there, so not sure if there are enough sun beds for the apartments. I know some people prefer the beach, but not sure how difficult it would be to get one in the height of the Summer. Apartments were nice, our internal doors didn’t close properly, but that’s a minor issue, they did shave a bit off the bedroom door as it wouldn’t move. We did have issues with some noise, as we could hear the conversations of those people in the apartments below quite clearly. We were on the 3rd floor and the noise was coming up from inside the walls in the kitchen. It was very strange, never had this before. It was unfortunate that the people on the ground floor were very loud and argued quite a lot especially with their daughter. Apartments are nicely positioned for the old town.

Fantastic property and top level staff who would do anything to help you. The property is small allowing easy access to the pool and bar and restaurant areas. This was a big plus for me. Other hotels on the island are massive with long walks. The proximity to facilities from our room was no longer than 10 yards, which helped with my fathers mobility issues. We will definitely be back.

Our apartment was a lovely room on the third floor with a gorgeous view from the balcony.
Spotlessly clean with a daily service. Decor is a tad dated but had everything we needed.

Service is excellent - all staff were super friendly & helpful. The pool area was very clean too, with complementary towels provided throughout the stay.

Location is great - everything within an easy walk. I would happily stay here again!

Stayed here for a relaxing weeks holiday. Very very happy. Would definitely come back!.Staff were very friendly and helpful. Cleanliness was spot on.Everything you would need is a short walk. Breakfast was a really great selection. Had a couple of nights of entertainment. One was a great singer the other a lovely guy playing Spanish guitar. Both a felt were underappreciated as to a lack of turn out and lack of awareness unfortunately. But very much enjoyed. My only small gripe and im finding it hard to be negative is that you have to adapt to things quickly as you don't get much info on arrival. But like i say thats me being picky.Also the bar prices are not inflated like a hotel.So again another positive. Over all 9.9 out of 10

Perfect location for access to strip, old town and shopping centre.
Lovely pool, very clean & comfortable sunbeds. An upstairs sun terrace available but was a bit too windy this visit.
Food provision was nice enough, not a huge choice but was fine. Staff lovely and helpful.
We just had standard one bed apartment. Very spacious, decor tired, kitchen drawer almost broken. Very clean, maids were in every day.
There was no air conditioning which I thought would be ok in December but we really struggled. I wondered why all the ground rooms had their front doors open as we walked past & this was why… it was like sitting in a pressure cooker (I did have a head cold though)
Struggled to sleep as pillows uncomfortable. Had a tall fan which needed to stay on.
As weather wasn’t great we spent more time than usual at the room, had a nice little terrace but there are no loungers. Everyone gets a metal bistro table with metal chairs which are uncomfortable after a while.
TV had BBC1,2 ITV, C4
If I hadn’t struggled so much with sleeping I would book again

Had a very pleasant one-week stay with friends at Plus Fariones Apartamentos. The apartment has everything you need, is very spacious & comfortable. Being able to get breakfast at the hotel every morning was an added bonus and the location is perfect for the beach and for the many restaurants in the area. Car rental in town is very easy, too and there is a large public car park nearby. Would definitely recommend hiring a car for a few days in order to explore the beautiful island of Lanzarote and Plus Fariones is a great base for doing that as well. No complaints from me! 👍

Top spot, nice safe apartments. Overall happy but no aircon in 2 bed apartments made it difficult to get good night sleep. Pool area not policed well for towels so client on sunbeds at 5.30am!! If you dont have one near pool by 7.30am only a slim chance to get one for the day.

The check in was great and accommodated us with an early time. We were upgraded to a suite which was nice. The only draw back for us was the bath/shower. It was stained from use. A small bit of modernisation to a walk in shower and the stay would have been 100%. The food and staff were excellent. The bed was the very comfortable. Highly recommend.

The property is in an excellent location. Beautiful rooms, very spacious. Maybe due an up date to the rooms at some point. Beautiful sea views if you book a higher floor room. Pool area is very nice. There is an upper area for sunbathing to with a jacuzzi so bliss. Food at breakfast lots of choice, although they do alternate items on days. All the staff and management are very polite and friendly, nothing is any trouble. Definitely coming back here again. There is nothing not to like. Wonderful holiday.

A great holiday.

We arrived before the check-in time but our accommodation was ready so we were able to get settled in straight away. The accommodation was very clean and spacious. The kitchen area had basic facilities - 3 each of knives forks spoons etc. There was a kettle, microwave and 2 ring hob but no toaster. The living area was comfortable with tv showing english channels. Disappointingly, the view from the very sunny balcony was a very uninspiring brick wall however the sun shone on it most of the day. Breakfast was buffet style with lots of choice to suit all tastes and nationalities. All the staff from reception, bar and housekeeping were very helpful and friendly and helped make our holiday so enjoyable. All in all we had a great holiday in a well situated complex and i would go there again.

No pool view as we had booked on arrival - was offered to move but it would be a few days after arrival and with 3 children we didn’t wish to do this as too disruptive.
Air con not that effective in lounge area and non existent in bedrooms - asked for extra fan and got one without issue which helped slightly

Lots of sun beds reserved however witnessed not used throughout the day - did not impact on us as we didn’t want to stay poolside all day but maybe some thought on this.

Staff were very friendly, the main facilities were all very good including the pool and jacuzzi and was really impressed that the life guard put timers on loungers left unused with towels and eventually removed the towels if left too long, therefore we never had an issue getting a sun lounger regardless of the time of day.

Breakfast also had a really great selection of food which changed every day.

Our room was cleaned beautifully everyday, new towels and beds made.

Only slight downside was the kitchenette was a little tired and worn and the pillows a little firm.

On arrival we found the fan didn't work in the bedroom, however this was replaced within 10 minutes and we were given an extra fan for our lounge as well.

The hotel is within perfect location of the old and new town and we'd certainly consider staying again

The property is well positioned and in good condition.

Two issues:

1. There is no air conditioning and the electric fan provided isn't enough to cope with the high temperatures associated with Lanzarote.

2. Guests rush to the poolside area in the morning to \"reserve their\" sunbeds for the day, leaving other guests with nowhere to sit around the pool all day. The hotel make no effort to control this inconsiderate behaviour.

The only problem I had was with the sun beds. If you were not up at 6.30 to reserve a sun bed around the pool you didn’t get one. I have been staying at this hotel for years and the sun bed war was the worse I have experienced in all the years I have stayed there

Stayed her for 5 nights from 15th of Aug, have to say was pleasantly surprised by this property. The rooms were really clean and the spacious especially for a 2 bedroom apartment. Cleaned most days and pool area were very clean. Bar and restaurant were really good and a nice touch for my kids birthday by where someone arrive with a happy birthday and a nice treat. For things to improve i would say the apartments are getting on the old side and need updating also air conditioning is needed in each room. Overall would definitely recommend amd would stay there again.

There were only 2 things that were less than great; our TV did not work very well and it was difficult to get a bed round the pool as people reserved them all very early in the morning. But these were minor points in an otherwise excellent apartment complex.

A great place to stay.

The accommodation and food was of a very high standard. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a problem with the electronic lock on our accommodation. On reporting the problem to reception, a technician arrived within 10 minutes and repaired the lock. The cleaning staff work to a very high standard and all areas in the complex are very clean. The pool area is well maintained and a lifeguard is on duty throughout the day. There is a smaller shallow pool for younger children. The complex is vey well situated, Peurto del Carmen old town is a 10 walk, its a 5 minute walk to a shopping centre and to the beach.
This was our third time to stay at the Fariones Apartments and we will be coming back again.

We had a fabulous stay here. The staff treated us extra special on valentines day with some special treats. We stayed half board and the dinner was to an exceptionally high standard in the farionne suites in the evening. The breakfast was also very good and varied in the apts. Overall extremely good value for what we got. Staff very friendly and nothing was a problem. Would highly recommend this apt and the half board option.

I stayed for 5 nights in a standard apartment on level 1, with a view of a wall. The bed was a bit too firm for my liking, but it was not uncomfortable. Good shower over the bath. Friendly staff. Good breakfast included.

I loved the apartment in such a central location. The apartments were spacious and the surrounds were kept very clean at all times. The breakfast was very good too. The only negative I would have to say was that there was no air conditioning in the apartments only a fan. Other than this we had a great holiday and would definitely return to these apartments in the future.

Apartment was over booked and we were asked to go to another hotel which was back up beside the airport. This defeated the purpose of booking this hotel as location was key on our decision. Obviously were keeping the bookings that made them then most money and switching the cheaper bookings. Disappointed with the hotel and cancelled and booked an apartment close by. Be wary when booking with them as we were advised 7 days before we were due to fly out.
