Very enjoyable stay and view was great from 2nd floor with room very comfortable and clean.
Sunbeds around the pool are at a premium as towels are put on very early and whilst this is against the hotel policy too many people are ignoring so in the end you have to join in!
The breakfast choices is fantastic and very relaxed.
Entertainment was of a good standard and some nights excellent especially the soul singer.
Would definitely recommend and book again.

Excellent hotel, with friendly staff and great food options. Would definitely recommend the Select service, it is definitely worth it.
Only issue was people saving sun loungers very early in the morning with their towels and not using them for hours. The hotel states that this is not permitted yet do not seem enforce this rule.

This was our first time staying and we will definitely be returning. The hotel is modern and clean and the staff are very friendly. My wife has a peanut and nut allergy and they were very good and at making sure the kitchen were made aware of this and it was never an issue. The hotels facilities are exceptional and the is finished to a very high standard. This hotel deserves to be listed as a five star hotel not just a four star.

This is my second time staying here. Rooms are nice but I am not a fan of the bedroom location of the suites as it’s back to back with the hallway so you hear all the late night people and early risers.
The pool service is poor. The place could be empty and you still have to sit there for a long time waiting for this one guy ‘Santi’ to take your order. He is not the friendliest. Maybe it’s just that I live in NYC and expect quicker service but I can’t help getting frustrated. For a finish I went for food at Finnegans and that was great, lovely food with proper size pints of beer for half the price and hassle.

I wasn't happy when i got to the hotel i discovered that the room i booked was adults only. I was travelling with my 13 yr old child. I paid a lot of money to expieda for the room. When i put one adult and one child in search bar the room came up i booked it. Then when i was in the hotel i was told by staff i should be using the highfloor special guests perks that come with highfloor guests. Receptionist never told me anything about breakfast sitting area i was there 2 day's before i discovered this. I tried to explain to staff but they didn't really understand me. They themselves were confused. The hotel refused to give me the room i paid for they said i had to go back to expieda to get some of my money refunded. I really didn't like the experience with plus fariones hotel 😕

Overall a great hotel location very good .This hotel was lovely , fresh & clean...staff very pleasant. However , the pool did not seem to be heated which in the cloudy weather was disappointing. Pool area lacked a little atmosphere , would of liked maybe some activities, maybe aqua aerobics. Breakfast was pretty much standard.Sea view not what we expected , it was more a side sea view.

This hotel was designed, sounds daft, but design was everywhere, stark, monumental, impressive, I liked it. But it lacked a few human touches.
Some hotels encourage local arts into their space, this one didn't, I like to bring home the hotel note pad and pen as a reminder but the rooms were spartan and impersonal, although our accommodation was of excellent size.
We rarely got a pool sunlounger as they pool area was too small for the size of the hotel, which was half empty when we were there.
The worst aspect was the food, mostly bland, overcooked, poor choise, esp of fish in the mornings. Good fish choice in the evenings but everything mostly barely warm.
The maids were excellent the serving staff mixed, organisation was a little chaotic at times and the hotel was not full. I couldn't pick our any staff for criticism its as if they have not got into their stride yet.

If you want a beautiful, quiet, clean hotel on the beach, you cannot get any better than Plus Fariones Suite Hotel. The suites are spacious. Rooms cleaned everyday.
Hotel has a restful ambiance and is very quiet given the number of residents.
Staff were very friendly and answered all our queries knowledgeably.

4 star hotel. Very nice although no aircon in the hotel outside your room, so corridors/reception very warm. Nice looking hotel. Room was lovely, very clean. Sea view as booked. I enjoyed our stay however its unfinished. Very noisy as work going on. I was told noise from 10-6. The noise started 9-sometimes till 7.30. I dont nap through the day but i think people need to be warned of this. My husband asked where the gym was and it doesnt exist.. room was full of bugs, most likely from the work. The breakfast delicious, lots of choice, however the service was awful, moved from two tables we were sat as someone was already sitting in them. Then no cutlery and waiters just not paying attention, sat for ages waiting and breakfast went cold. Entertainment was good but service again awful, confusion seemed to reign and there was no organisation, we sat for ages and my husband had to go to the bar for drinks. Loads of waiters but lacking direction. This happened 3 times during our stay. Maid service good but, one morning I returned from breakfast and wished to use the toilet and the maid told me to come back, I understand she has a job todo but I have a condition, she didnt understand and was adamant she was finishing the room, I did wait but think if the customer wants in the room they should respect that and leave. The hotel lovely but so many issues. We stayed in a 4 star 5 days before this one with no issues.

What i did not like no window in bedrooms throughout hotel exvept for a few suites. We upgraded to one 30euro per night definately worth it.
Also no air conditioning on in hotel we were informed until April, as it was unseasonally hot bit stuffy at night.
Would def stay again but only in Suite.
Right on beach right by shops old town beach etc great location.

It’s corridors felt like a multi storey carpark, unsightly and dark. The hotel room was dark and small with no natural light and very dim bulbs, it was impossible to get ready in there and the darkness of the room gave me a head ache. The smell of cigarettes came through into our bedroom from either next door or below us so we couldn’t sleep in there with our 10 month old baby. We instead slept on the floor of the living area. The steps into the living area felt dangerous for our baby. The hotel has been refurbished but I would say to a very poor quality compared to the photos online. We were very disappointed upon our arrival after paying for a suite.
The breakfast was poor also.
The staff were friendly but the hotel itself was a let down. It’s only good point was the location.

This was a fantastic hotel, staff were fantastic,very efficient and friendly x
It was my partners birthday on our second day here I didn’t make them aware of his birthday, but we arrived home after being out all day to a lovely bottle of champagne and a selection of small cakes. This was a lovely touch and very much appreciated.
The only criticism I have of this hotel is the air conditioning was turned off so it was quite warm in the room .
All in all we had an excellent stay.

Room was very nice and clean. Some of the staff at the reception and the dining room were quite abrupt. Clearly they had priorities that didn’t not involve the guests queries and were quite happy you should wait until they were good and ready to acknowledge you. Not all were of course but enough do that that is what I remember. At the rate you pay I think you can expect a little courtesy. Breakfast was really nice and a wonderful selection.

Overpriced hotel for what it provides!

The room was good,although the extractor fan in the bathroom appeared not to work.
Spacious suite wth lovely bathroom and comfortable bed.Good separate living area.
Nice balcony,let down by cheap metal table and uncomfortable chairs.
Restaurant served standard buffet food for both breakfast and dinner.Unless cooked while you waited,most of the hot food under the heat lamps was generally lukewarm!
Tables very close together and more especially at breakfast,people were getting in each other’s way.
It would help if the restaurant staff smiled a bit more!

The area around the pool again could be busy and it was the same old story of people getting there early and putting their towels on the sunloungers,and then hardly using them!
In a hotel leaflet,it said that staff would remove towels if the sunloungers weren’t being used,but as usual,nothing was ever done.
The location to the beach and the town is great.
We weren’t affected by the building work on the hotel next door,but I gather that if your room was that side of the hotel,you might be.
The internet connection at the hotel was awful.It was totally hit and miss wether it was working.I think we reported the problem at least three times but it was potluck as to when it worked.
We ended up going to local bars etc just to use their WiFi.

Drinks at the hotel are reasonably priced,but there is a lot of competition from bars/restaurants within close proximity

Overall though,an overpriced hotel!Will not stay again!

We stayed here from the 12 to 26 july. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and spacious. The only complaint I have is about the bed in the sitting room it was a bit hard to sleep on. The breakfast was brilliant any food you could think of was there.
The entertainment team brilliant for adults and children. The entertainment started at 12.00 and went on to 5.00 and then started again in the evening.
I found the sun beds situation ok we had to be up by 8 as there was 10 in my group so we wanted beds together. When you put your towel down you had to stay with your bed or they would leave a note to tell you they would be taking it back. Which I think was fair
Over all we enjoyed our stay and will be returning

Very nice hotel spotlessly clean, we had a loft suite which was amazing, with a view of the pool and beach. The breakfast buffet has something for everyone, huge selection of fruit cereals breads etc plus hot buffet. We didn’t stay in the hotel in the evenings so can’t comment on the entertainment. We had lunch a couple of times by the pool bar it was delicious but a bit pricey. Also use of beach towels so easier than bringing your own.

Hotel has a great location right on the beach. Positioned between the Old Town and the strip.Rooms are good with separate bedroom. We were staying next to the building work and it did impact on the enjoyment of time in the room, but you do get a 75 euro bonus to use as the hotel because of the inconvenience. The breakfast and lunchtime pool menus were both very good. Ate out for dinner.
My tip would be stay on the side away from the work,and make sure you are ready to put a towel on a poolside lounger by 8am.
Point for improvement would be the courtesy room arrangement. The manager should think about the instructions given at reception. The signage and ensuring that the lights or on, I am sure its fine during the day but if you are leaving in the evening it's pretty haphazard.
Overall a very enjoyable stay and would go back staff throughout the hotel were always pleasant and helpful.

Suite of suites in Lanzorate

What can I say is other than WOW. We booked this resort for a good break away because it was right on the beach front which suited me for mobility issues and love of open water swimming. From the moment we checked in to leaving eight days later we could find nothing to complain about. The pool area is great and relaxing with a lovely poolside bar. The larger swimming pool had good dept for underwater swimming as well as length for lap training. The buffet breakfast was great and provided for all tastes as well as the attached supermarket. The hotels closeness to the promenade, small sheltered beaches, scuba diving centres and the shopping was ideal too. Met many guests who constantly return to the same resort shows just how goo it is. Having the Kats outside roaming around was lovely too. The accessible room met all my needs because Aidan uses both crutches and a wheelchair to get around. Finally to say that we would highly recommend this resort that we will be back soon for a short break.

Great location for Ironman Lanzarote

This hotel was a great location if you are staying for Ironman Lanzarote. It was walking distance to the start line/transition area. The hotel rooms were very clean and well-kept. I have 2 complaints - 1) the gym was off-site so I would have had to leave the hotel to go there. Because of that, I never went. 2) The wifi didn't work in my room. I had to go to the lobby to get a connection. Other than that, I would recommend this hotel.

Very central, close to beach and restaurants

The hotel's location can't be faulted. It is very handy for some lovely restaurants in the old town, as well as the shops on the strip. The hotel itself is a bit run down, more like a 3 star than a 4 although the staff were lovely. The paving around the pool and flooring in general (with the exception of the marble in the common areas inside the hotel) look quite neglected. We paid extra on arrival for a refurbished room as we were assured that it would be further away from the demolition site and I'm glad to say were not bothered by the works, although it was difficult to see what refurbishments had been carried out. I had to hold the toilet button for at least 30 seconds for it to flush, there was a split on the stained toilet seat that was quite uncomfortable, and the apartment was very basic. It was however mostly clean and a good central location from which to base ourselves. The breakfasts were nice as well although rarely had the same food twice, e.g. I like Serrano ham in the morning on holiday and it was available 2 out of the 7 mornings. There was however plenty of fresh bread and the usual Spanish breakfast offerings (omelettes, streaky bacon, pancakes). There was a lot of sun bed claiming going on, very early in the day (before 07:00), and the parasols and beds were very grubby looking. There was a beach very close by but it charged for use of the sun beds.

Probably wouldn't stay there again but still had a nice break away.

Stayed recently with my wife for 1 week on B&B basis. Good breakfast selection. Lovely and quiet around the pool area even though it was busy. Quiet beach with direct access from pool area. Sunbeds and parasols extra on the beach. We generally ate at the pool bar, reasonable prices and good quality. All staff very friendly and helpful, hotel very clean. Plenty of bars, restaurants, supermarkets and shops close by. Generally older clientele but were some very young families (very well behaved).
Only complaint would be renovation work to extended facility in progress for 1 side of the hotel, better to ask for the sea view. Entertainment a little noisy at night, again sea view is better.
Would definitely go back

On checking in to our room we overlooked a large construction site and asked for a change of room which the hotel accommodated as there were a few spare rooms. Plenty of sun loungers, food very good in buffet and pool bar. Good location with several excellent restaurants nearby as well as the usual 'sports bars' which we avoided.
Unfortunately we had to cut short our holiday by a week and when we informed reception the duty manageress authorised a refund for seven days costs..... this was not expected but has warmed us to this hotel and we will stay there again in the future.

There is very little negative you can say about hotel. It has an ample size pool with enough beds for everyone, a gate opens to the beach making it easy to enjoy this too. The rooms are spacious and all look out to the sea. Although slightly removed from the hotel it also has tennis courts, gym and indoor pool with sauna and Jacuzzi.

Nice hotel, shame about the building site

A very nice hotel, very clean, good breakfast, good location close to the beach and lots of shops and restaurants. Two main downsides were the building site next door which our rooms overlooked and which could sometimes be heard from the pool area, and the temperature of the pools. To avoid the first issue, insist on rooms overlooking the pool. These have a pleasant view and would be less affected by noise from the building site and also less noise from the entertainment in the bar in the evening which carried up four floors. The hotel do say that one of the pools is heated, and it is, but only to 24-25 degrees which in February is just not quite enough for comfort. A better solution is to go to the sports centre up the road which as residents you can use the excellent gym and much warmer pool for free. It also has a pleasant seating area and bar. But beware late afternoon as it is mostly used for swimming lessons.
Another minor gripe was that the nice bar was taken up by the entertainment from 8.30pm. Which is fine if you like that sort of thing, but a shame if you don't as there is no other option. This sounds more negative than it felt, as we had a really nice holiday despite all this and the staff were pleasant and helpful. The room layout with the seating area and kitchenette was also good. So I would go back, but probably in a year or so when the drilling has stopped.

Hot and noisy

There was no air conditioning \"because it was winter\"! Still 23 degrees in the day. Bedroom windows opened onto the corridors, which were cooler, but noisy, especially as we were near reception. No fan or ventilation in the bathroom. Pool not tried as way too cold.

The hotel was very good. However, the room that we were originally assigned faced directly onto a building site. It was one of the nearest rooms to the site and there was a continuous cloud of dust and noisy machinery. We went back to reception and were informed that this was one of the rooms reserved by Expedia. However, they indicated that they had been a cancellation for another room and assigned us a new room at the other side of the hotel.

Nice hotel stuck between 2 major construction site

The Suite Hotel Fariones Playa is basically a nice hotel. However, the holiday as published (and purchased) did not mention that approximately 50% of the suites are in serious need of refurbishment - notably, those which are sea-facing and adjacent to the Farionas Playa hotel that is undergoing demolition/reconstruction. The hotel also has a second major demolition/construction site situated across the road on its North Eastern side. Although the works didn't impact too much on our holiday, this was only because we spend most of the time out exploring and visiting other parts of the island. Had we been planning to spend our 11 days 'relaxing' on the balcony or in the swimming pools we would have had a moajor issue with the noise and dust (dust suppression amounted to one labourer occasionally wetting down (pathetically) with a single hose pipe that didn't even have an adjustable spray head.
Very disappointing Expedia, we probably won't be using your services again...

Stayed B&B for a week in January 2017. The hotel exceeded our expectations. Accommodation was clean, comfortable and spacious. All the staff were professional and very helpful. The breakfasts were excellent with a huge choice.
Highly recommended.

convenient + clean hotel

good customer service with this hotel- we asked for a mattress topper (beds are often too hard)- all done in 20 minutes!

Everything was fine, staff, building, location etc.

Only one problem and it was important to us as it made sleeping difficult - air conditioning was switched off for winter (what winter ?) and if it was on, there was none in the bedroom where it is a necessity.

Excellent location and so pleasant

This hotel is excellent. Very clean, good views, fantastic breakfast choice, great location close to everything. Service is outstanding. If you ask they just do it straight away.

Only issue was water pressure on shower a bit low but that was it.

We will be going back!

Our worst holiday ever!

Very clean hotel and the \"shop floor” staff were excellent but the enjoyment stopped there. Outdated room felt more like a cell. Described as a suite, I think not! We were very disappointed especially after falling in the lift on a wet floor after cleaning. Pools of water on the lift floor with no sign to warn you. We changed our flights and returned a week early from the holiday our enjoyment was that bad and my back was that sore. Reported the fall to management staff with little concern shown other than a token bottle of champagne sent to the room which we gave to the elderly German couple who helped me up after my fall. The whole experience left a sour taste.

Nice hotel, would definitely recommend !

It is a big hotel which is located on the beach and on the quite end of the main road which has all the bars and restaurants. It is located between the new town and old harbour town (10-15min walk).

Bedrooms have a bit of a weird layout but you get used to it and it is not a very bit issue and your not spending much time in there. You also get a bath robe and slippers in the room for each person which we did not expect!

The breakfast is worth getting up for , it offers pretty much everything you would ever want for breakfast.

Every member of staff was very helpful and nice and always had time for you.

All in all I would definitely recommend staying here, I can see why people come back time and time again.
